Very tasty, portion could be a little bigger, was £3.50 now up to £4.50 and the owner was honest to say it's going up again due to the cost of cooking involved. At least he told me. Revised a few days ago in Aug '23 and had the tawva fish. Nicely cooked and tasty from the outside but totally bland, no taste inside, not worth the £10 I paid plus £3 for fries, which I could have got for £1.50 across the road.

Rip off, I payed £20 for half kg tikka karahi, all I saw was gravy no few tiny chicken pieces. Avoid!!!!!!

The food was good and budget friendly. We had ordered a platter option which costs £25. It was enough for a gang of 5 people. I would recommend ordering naans, tandoori roti or anything related as a side dish for the platter. Their milkshake which cost £2.99 was just OK and I feel it was fine for this price range. On an average it costs between £6-11 per individual.

Not our 1st visit as the food is consistently good, only 1 issue was they can't make steaks as requested and always well done instead of medium rare so that wasn't edible. Other then that the mixed grill, naan and lamb curry was lovely. Service could have been a bit more attentive too seeing as we went on Friday Eid and there were only 2 other families there at 6:30pm. One waiter on the restaurant floor isn't enough if your slow to take orders and meet requests without diners having to wait or make eye contact. Still a lovely place to go for good food.

Been here a few times when it was less busy and it was nice food and good service, however went today when it was busier and the service was really slow due to only having two waiters which has lowered the rating significantly, having pre-ordered the food before arrival and having to still wait 45 mins for the food was atrocious, i would recommend only going when its not busy, went for the mix grill and chicken karahi which was flavourful.

Perfect place for some lovely Pakistani food! Great flavours & generous portion sizes. Perfect place for some quick lunch or a nice evening meal. Not too busy which is always good so you can eat in peace and enjoy the company of your family. Always 5* from me.

Whenever I feel like a late night meal. I always come to Koh-I-Noor. They are opened till 2AM unlike other food places in the area. They have a variety of tasty dishes so you will have plenty of options to choose from. Most importantly the place has nice seating area and privacy is respected, Very family environment and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend! 5*

Ordered 1/2 kg chicken tikka karahi, the taste was good but there was literally no chicken in the karahi. I have been to places and ordered a chicken tikka in naan with more chicken in it. I've been here a few times and it's always empty now I know why...

We visited 2 weeks ago and ate the mixed grill, chicken, and lamb karahi. The flavour of all 3 was spot on. Nice decor, clean with clean toilets as well. What else can one ask for? Parking is available around the streets, and as its Alum Rock road, it is busy, so allow for finding an appropriate parking spot.

Mix grill for two absolutely delicious. Everything full of flavour and fresh. Soft naan and delicious saucy boneless chicken curry.

Food better than expected, especially when compared to the reviews. We got a mixed platter for £28 alongside the twist burger. Both were quite decent and will be returning in the future!

The waiter took my order and still got it wrong, I repeated the order aswell but minor I was hungry so il just pay the extra. The sauces reminded of noor kebab house which is Slam burgers nw round the corner. The food overall nice apart from the m3xican burger which turned out to be cheese burger. Tough bread and chewy meat! 2/10. 6 pounds for a small donner and naan....

Took a long while for the food to arrive.

We tried lamb makhni and lamb chops. Food was fresh and delicious. The don't have parking and it is difficult to find road side parking over weekend. Service is really slow

Yesterday we had a choice to visit a few different places and ended up getting convinced to try this place. Have to say I was really impressed with the food and the honesty of the people even though I was initially a bit hesitant to go. Also the Prices were pretty decent. So thumbs up👍🏻 to these guys...5stars is a must even though it's hard for me to give a 5stars rating to any place. Well-done and just keep up the standards Definitely will visit this place again 👌👌

This is well run place. The staff are polite and pleasant. The food is excellent and portions are generous.

*Newly Open Review* - Amazing interior, decor and seating. Great for small and very large groups or families. A jam packed menu with burgers, steaks and curries etc. I ordered a Chicken Steak, with Kohinur hot sauce and steak chips with mash potato on the sides. It tasted great. It had good spice and well cooked with flavour. It's very clear, despite not having a signature dish - and serving a host of variety foods - they cook all items as speciality. I'll be revisiting soon to try their Zinger & Gourmet Burgers and at the next opportunity to dine in, I will get a taste of their Karahi.

Very friendly environment and the food is very filling for the price. Do not expect the food taste like a fancy gourmet restaurant.

Takes eternity to get your mains , the difference between starter and mains were 30 mins , dried chicken , excessive salt and stingy sauces , and the attitude of the person on the till is more than of 5 star hotels reception and if by any chance you paying card and bill is less than 10 pound they gonna charge you 1 pound ( charging on machines was banned 4 years ago and yet they are still charging and can of diet coke any where else is 75p to 90p , but as their coke products are created in buckingham palace under the supervision of queen herself so they charge 1.50 for can , good luck guys not going there again

Very colourful from the outside . The interior definitely need changing; tacky decoration, sellotape on the wall, floors here and there. Why? Surprisingly, the food was nice and generous portions as well. Friendly staff. Overall, ok. Recommended? Yeah; at least once.

Asked waiter to clean table for us cos it was dirty, he said its just been varnished that's why it was sticky, it was messy with oil and curry spilled on it , he did not clean it , ordered half kilo cod karahi, they tried to charge us for a full kilo when the bill came, i make cod and salmon curry myself, this wasn't even cod it was a cheaper fish they were using, I queried to chef about this , was told it was definitely cod .

It is a wonderfully decorated restaurant but I am not happy with the food there. It wasn't tasty and fresh, except for salad and fries. 😅 Chicken pieces were over burnt. I went there for the very first time, didn't have a good experience so I won't go there next time.

Don't let looks deceive you, this is a dressed up chip shop. Most everything served can be found at your local chippy, and of the same quality. The mixed grill is a generous portion, but tough and overcooked. The grilled chicken looked to be fresh (we ordered one because we saw it spinning on the rotisserie), what we were actually served came out the microwave, then thrown on the grill and smothered in spices. Keema naan was fresh but oilier than Iraq. After all this, we weren't expecting much from the lamb karahi but this was actually very good quality. Pleasantly surprised. Chicken karahi was fine too. Ordered some tea at the end which took over half an hour to come out.

Over cooked food, not very good, didn't compromise on what was asked which was a Very simple request and overall 3/10. Very dissapointed but service was good and drinks were cold.

Good local place to eat with excellent customer service. Their lamb karahi which is made on order was lovely, the chicken karahi was good too. Ordered a large mix grill which had a bit of mixed feed feedback the sheesh kebabs were good but Rest of it was bit dry. The chargha tasted like it was microwaved. I would suggest to the restaurant to make charga on the grill and put enough sauce to make it more seculent either than dry.

Me and my friend went here today for iftar, ordered platter 3 which somehow arrived within 5 minutes. After eating this it tasted like it was not fresh at all, however once i reached home I had EXPLOSIVE DIARRHOEA which resulted in my tui feeling rather sore 😳🤦🏻‍♂️ My mate was so bad he had to stop at the local park and do his business. Never again!!

Absolutely disgusting food ...sorry to say but there wasn't 3 things we wanted to order on the menu available, we had no choice but to eat what was available as we was hungry and came from far the quality was not good of food with no taste at all very disappointing we will not recomend to no one and will not go there ever again!!! The waiter seem to have a attitude and no respect for customers which needs to be sorted. The food was very tasty and fresh and up to standards but unfortunately, I will not be eating here again after the way we was treated tonight.
