Kohinoor in Lisburn

Great Indian for takeaway I ordered a chicken bhuna, pilau rice, popadoms and chips for takeaway. Didnt have to wait long when collecting it. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices! Chicken bhuna was nice and hot by the time i got home (5 mins away driving) and was a generous portion of chicken and quite saucy. Will be going back very soon for takeaway and or sitting in!

We dine her about once a month (since opening) and we have yet to find any fault. The staff are very friendly, a pleasant atmosphere and the food is excellent every time. We will be heading back before Christmas.

This restaurant has become my favourite in Northern Ireland. I have not received such great customer service elsewhere and the food is what you will call ‘a traditional authentic cuisine’. Please I will highly recommend this restaurant. Any food lover will not want to miss this amazing experience.

Another great family night out there. The food was excellent and the service of a high standard. They will tailor the dishes to your wishes. Will be back

For our evening in Lisburn whilst en route to Sligo from England, the good reviews lead us to having dinner at this restaurant. Admittedly, I have a passion for eating Indian cuisine and cooking it myself from the raw ingredients. However, the pleasure had in enjoying such lovely prepared and tasting food at Kohinoor was made that more enjoyable by the excellent service provided by the staff, including attention to our culinary queries/requests. Don't give this restaurant a miss. The two prawn dishes and a vegetable dish I personally had, didn't skimp on good quality ingredients. Enjoy!

Great spot. Food was amazing, staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the atmosphere was great. Staff looked after us really well and give us some drinks on the house. Will be back. Would definitely recommend.

This must be our 6th or 8th visit either as a couple or with friends and on every occasion we find the welcome very friendly, the food is fantastic so without any doubt we would say give it a try we are going back soon, without doubt. Thank you to all the staff..

I honestly wish I had a chance to review the food as well as the restaurant as I had looked up Indian food prior to my visit and decided this was the place to be. Despite the website stating it was open till 10pm when we arrived at 7.06 on a Wednesday we were told that the table who had just sat down was the last table they were having, and they were closing. We then had to look for another restaurant and found the Spice which was a fab experience with amazing food. We passed back past the restaurant to find it was still open, we were very annoyed but will never return here.

Been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while, and glad I did. Decor is pleasant. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and in my opinion the best Indian cuisine in the lisburn area. Food arrives promptly and at a good temperature both heat and spice wise. A couple of small points are, wine list needs improvement. The bathroom seems to be located in the centre of the restaurant which is unusual. The tables close to this can hear the fan on the hand dryer going etc. I think it should be moved or select a different table. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience and will return more for the excellent staff who are a great asset to this restaurant.

Had a great first meal here . Nice spacious clean warm restaurant with on street parking Had the chicken chat poori followed by the chicken biryani with keema naan. It was delicious and at just the right heat. We will be back soon

We have been to this restaurant a few times now and without fail the food and service are always excellent. This is the best Indian restaurant in Lisburn by far. The portions are a decent size especially with the complimentary poppadoms and dips. The staff are very attentive and the overall cost of food and wine are not expensive. We will definitely be back soon.

Really enjoyed our dinner here on a trip to Lisburn - really lovely Tandoori and Biryani...was not expecting such a great curry!

I had a delicious meal in this beautiful furnished restaurant. I took an early meal option with starter, main and a beer. The food tasted incredible and was very well presented. The service was excellent , as the waiting staff were very attentive to our needs - ensuring the meal was ok and we had enough drinks.

My sisters and I ate here tonight, and honestly can't praise this place enough. The staff went above and beyond expectations to make our experience a good one, and the food was excellent . Highly recommended and we will definitely be regular returning customers.

The food was really good and very well presented. Great assortment of dishes on the menu and lovely desserts and cocktails. The premises is beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and created a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
