Delicious Chinese food - really love the fishcakes.

Regularly visit on dinner from work, out of towner the food is always on point either fried fish or Chinese dinners, staff are orite too I guess 😉

The meals were lovely, lots of it and very well presented and prepared. The staff were great friendly and chatted away with me while I waited, which was quite nice. My only criticism was that the chips could have been cooked a little longer. But otherwise, a good all-around experience. I will definitely be going again. 😌

Paid a visit while caravanning in the area. It's probably the best fish and chips I've had anywhere for a long time, and I've visited a few whilst touring. The Downside is that it's so popular with the main sales being Chinese food and large amounts being preordered that there was a little wait.

Good was both cold and and overcooked. Seemed an attempt was made to microwave it at some point

Cod and chips a little greasy. Fish was wrapped individually with good seasoning. Worth another trip.

Decent fish n chips. Good sized portion served quickly. Went back a few days later for some Chinese food. Salt n pepper chips very nice...again good portions...Will be back!

Friendly staff. Food ok but portion sizes are small. Prices have also sky rocketed. This started to happen before high inflation began. Now (June 2022) £8.50 for some meals with frice rice, £6 for a pie dinner. You can eat in a resturaunt for similar prices.

Really good chippy. We had the salt and pepper chicken and chips, which was great. Loads of choice and good service.

Fish was great, chips need improving.

So excited to take advantage that our local chippy was open !! Well our excitement was short lived ! We ordered Gung po fried rice ( our favourite) in other chippies ! The nicest thing about the meal was the rice !!! We ordered chips as an extra and they were dire ! Grey in colour ! Dry ! And cold!! End of never again

We visited the chip shop twice in the last week. On the first visit we had cod and chips, freshly cooked to perfection. Second visit we had Chinese takeaway, again, excellent food and more than we could eat. If we are this way again we will certainly be having food from here.

Visited this shop as I had been to a business meeting in Liverpool and I was staying at the Holiday Inn not too far away. The fried rice was more like dried rice. It was being kept warm in the chippy cabinet from before I arrived at the shop. Chicken and mushroom was alright. Not a patch on my normal Chinese Takeaway

About to close, but turned the friers back on for me. Fish was delicious

We had special stay with fried rice and Singapore vermacelli, was delicious and plenty of it. Never had a bad meal from this take away. Highly recommended.

Couldn't fault my fish, chips and peas. Exactly what I hoped for. Courteous service, nicely cooked chips, peas as good as you'd get in any chippy.

Lovely chippy, does chinese food aswell, food is awesome in my opinion. Singapore vermacelli, satay, crispy chilli beef all good.

Food is lovely,big portions and nice friendly staff. There are also chars to sit down while you wait for your scran

El servicio es inmejorable, buenos precios comida bien preparada y menús son mucho puedes pedir así por teléfono y recoger tu pedido cuando quieras

...but that's about it. Chips are soggy, certainly not cooked in fresh oil. Rice tasteless, fried and egg fried rice probably not from the freshest cooked rice and tasted burnt. Since the new management took over portion sizes have shrunk and prices went up. No good.
