Sweet and sour chicken Hong-Kong style and chicken curry with fried rice was top nosh...really impressed with speed of delivery

Before leaving or allowing delivery driver to leave please check your order. We have now for a second time in 2 weeks collected a phoned order to return home with missing items . We have used this place for a lot of years but the service we received on reporting this was appalling, we were told the chef/cook was adamant our curry was placed in our bag so in turn basically saying we were lying. The travel to this takeaway is not just round the corner and i can guarantee there was missing food for a second time in a matter of weeks. Our youngest son did not check the pick up which is his bad I am aware but to be called liars is unacceptable. To top this off when phoning to report the call was continuously ended until we used a different phone

We had a take away from knightswood Chinese kitchen for a family birthday. We had many dishes from the menu and they were all so delicious 🤤. They do a lot of different dishes which you don’t normally find in other Chinese take aways. Definitely worth a visit. The staff are so friendly 😃 we will definitely be back!

Favourite for chow mein , but my friends order from here aswell when they are at mines and they love it aswell, delivery drivers are always polite and on time.

Food was delivered fast and hot but only minor gripe was chicken breast fried rice full of ham bits n less chicken n greasy 😬.

Pedido para la recolección, estuvo listo en 10-12 minutos, ordenó pollo a la sal y pimienta (sabroso), arroz frito con pollo (un poco soso, tuve que agregar un poco de salsa de soja), 2 x sopa de pollo con fideos (bastante bueno), limón pechuga de pollo (también un poco soso). Los tamaños de las porciones son bastante generosos, por lo tanto, 4/5 y no 3/5 estrellas, y deberían serlo: todo el pedido, recogido y no entregado, llegó a las 23. 50, que está ligeramente por encima de lo que esperaría pagar de una comida para llevar, pero tampoco es indignante. En general, si te sientes hambriento y quieres ordenar en algún lugar localmente, así que no estás esperando 2 horas para un curry frío o lo que sea, no recomendaría no probar el lugar.

Pedimos pollo satay y pollo arroz frito con salsa de curry. Lo que llegó fue papilla roja con carne y pollo al curry chino con pimientos y cebollas. Llamé al restaurante y me dijeron que me dieron el pedido equivocado, luego enviaron otro pedido que era exactamente la misma comida. Resulta que deben pensar que el pollo satay es pollo al curry chino. Absolutamente asqueroso.

Been using knightswood takeaway for over 30 years now usually excellent but lately food has went down hill don’t know what’s up curry sauce just not the same very powdery. Chips are either under cooked or over cooked and pork and beef undercooked .seem to be cooking everything to quickly so sad as this has been a fine takeaway for years.

Not impressed with the beef curry. Far too chewy for my liking plus had a velvety texture! Although I didn’t have to wait long it just wasn’t worth the money.

Delivery time was awful, I wish when they add time on your delivery you had the option to cancel, when my food arrived it was cold

An hour and half wait for delivery is not acceptable! Food was okay when it arrived but won't rush back!

delivery time was confirmed and the ignored, phone orders more important than just eat. 95 minutes for delivery and then they forgot the main part of it. rude, unhelpful and uncaring staff. Just Avoid

I couldn't fault delivery time, the cheerful driver or following my recipe request plus the food was hot. The problem I had was the noodles were very chewy so I think the chef needs to work on the cooking time for noodles. I may try again in the future but possibly not as the noodles had yo be binned.

This is the best Chinese for miles!!! Every dish I've had is delicious and the staff are great! Quick delivery as well. So glad I've found it!

after reading good reviews placed an order, 2 main meals and some sides, arrived in good time considering it was a busy night. food was disappointing, chicken was dry and chips were equally poor, all in all the chicken being dry spoiled the main meals. called the restaurant who were really pleasant and agreed to a refund. would be willing to give them another try

My hubby and I enjoyed a takeaway from here for our dinner tonight. We had a Chicken Curry and Kung PO Chicken. Portions were huge. We also had fried rice and chips. All delicious. Good value for money also.

Good quality meal and quick delivery.

The sweet and sour dishes were only sweet and left an aftertaste. Really not happy with the fact we waited so long for a disappointing meal.

I order from here as I've always enjoyed my food but recently every time I order (approx £20 each time) the salt and pepper chips are so over cooked there inedible and the breast of chicken curry sauce is so thick it looks like it's starting to congeal on arrival. Quite sad about this because I order every week at least once.

Ordered Plain Chicken Fried Rice with satay sauce for my wee boy, delivery was fast, but order had Chicken which was really black & off looking with ham and peas all through the rice :( I never ordered it with ham & peas just binned the full thing!!!

The Beef Satay didn't have much beef in it.

The food was terrible beef was very chewy and chips where like rubber wont be ordering again which is a shame coz this is where I always got my food from for years but tonight was a waste of money

Great Chinese always iffy about ordering Chinese of just eat as my local one is not on it but this is better than my local was not disappointed great and deffo recommend and will Use again!!

Crispy shredded beef amazing! Got plain chow mean as a side which was really nice, but way too dry so will ask for extra gravy next time :)

Salt and pepper chicken wings tasted like plastic and were like rubber as if they were boiled in water with a couple of spices. Would recommend they change recipe and make them at least a wee bit crispy

The meals were practically cold when arrived. Tasted nice but need reheated. No complaints about flavour but part of the reason for ordering takeaway is that it's ready to eat when arrives. Did take longer than most takeaways too.

Tried the chicken satay for a change. Satay sauce was not the best, bit watery.

Got a munchie box, parts were cold and most of food was sold, wasn't nice at all, I asked for refund straight away.

This was the worst Chinese food I have had received I could.not eat the chicken curry it was just big bits of black fatty chicken if that was even chicken I for defo won't be using this.place again and the chicken noodle soup had a horrible.taste to it

Lovely as always. A very small point to make is to get free prawn crackers you have to spend £14, most other Chinese takeaways are far less than that

Waited 2 hours got this delivery, called & was told it would be another 30 minutes!! I cancelled the order over the phone however the money has still been taken from my account!!!

Order was very late but a quick call to the takeaway updated me (then just eat updated me!) personally I don't mind waiting for good food from a busy takeaway. Just keep the customer informed more regularly.

Warm food delivered 20 mins late from the given delivery time. But had the status of my order as delivered in time when still.waiting for it. I called to check where my order was and was told they are very busy. Not quite sure what to make of this as i paid 100% and didnt receive full 100% service.

2 hours wait, never ever again.

Took 2 hours for my food to be delivered. I know the shop is busy on Christmas eve but I was given an estimation of 1 hour and a half and was no contacted to say otherwise then when I phoned they said they hadn't began to cook the food yet.
