Absolutely fantastic food and customer services especially Nathan and Ben 😀

Had a lovely meal out. The food was lovely and the service was great even as it started to pick up. The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Stuart, who made a real fuss of my 8 month old who thought he was great.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and food was fine. I enjoyed my carvery. Children’s play area was unbelievably noisy with kids approximately 10 years old screaming and fighting loudly with no respect for the younger children or other diners, with no parents managing their awful behaviour. We wanted to stay and have pudding but as we weren’t able to chat amongst ourselves we left early.

I used to enjoy a good carvery buffet breakfast. But this was terrible, the place was empty so no atmosphere at all. It was the food that really let it down. Who and u mean who thinks it's a good idea to put toast under a hot lamp... you could of built a house with it, it was rock solid. The bacon had dried out, I do love well done bacon but this you couldn't even use a fork to pick it up, I gave up and picked it up with my fingers, wish I hadn't tried it it was like shoe leather. Won't be coming back again when there's a breakfast carvery round the corner that's busy with fresh food always being replenished. This one had obviously sat out for hours.

First time we have been. Will definitely come again when in the area. Breakfast was good for a carvery. Plenty of choice and well presented. Staff are friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolute 10 out of 10 place for dining what a experience . Friendly staff amazing food and desserts nice and clean hygenic plenty of parking what more can you ask for very well recommend if your passing by . But deffiently worth the travel

Went for Carvery around 7pm, very clean restaurant and the staff are very polite. The service was fantastic and the prices are reasonable.Carvery was great lots of meat on the plate, the only very slight issue was the food was slightly on the cool side. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning shortly.

Service is great they have a great system at the bar . Food of menu looks lovely from what I saw other people eating. Carvery was nice. Mash texture was a bit weird but nice. Maybe few more choices in veg would be great. Best thing I saw was the fact you can que for Carvery and take it home in takeaway cases. Definitely will be back .

We had a lovely carvery at Kingsmill Farm—a proper English roast! It’s hands down the best in the area for miles. The staff were wonderful, and a special thanks to Kealey, who took extra care to make sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend! Best, Jordan.

From the off, it wasn’t great. Only asked the waiter for a straw and anybody would have thought we’d of asked for a limb… which may I add, we never actually got. I had to go to bar myself in the end to get it. The carvery was ok. Ordered dessert after but after 30 minutes of waiting we went up to the Cakeaway till which then we stood for 5-10 minutes. Multiple staff just walking past not asking if you needed anything or trying to assist. When I approached a member of staff asking if anybody was serving on the till his reply was “It’s all one queue” bear in mind, we had been waiting at this point 45 minutes!! Then to get home and be greeted with the cheesecake I paid £5.49 for… just look at the photos. £5.49 for that?! Absolute absurd. We shall not be returning anytime soon.

The best I had so far! Tried so many cakes from different places but nothing compares with this one. Highly recommend!!!

All day breakfast was very bad. Grill hadn't been cleaned and everything tasted burnt

I often order carvery from here for home delivery to save cooking at the weekend. It gets delivered through Just eat and it always arrives on time, hot and very large portions too. It's a lot better than ordering junk food. There are only 2 places that I can order carvery from locally and this one is hands down the better of the 2 by far!

I ordered the chicken combo.... chicken skewer and chicken strips with fries and coleslaw.... it came out over 10 minutes after the other meals had been served. Both the strips and the skewers were dry, so obviously had sat under the hot plate and had been forgotten about. The coleslaw tasted odd...like it was off. My granddaughter had the macaroni cheese which also looked dry and had hardly had any sauce. It arrived with mash which was a mistake on my part but I'm so glad she didn't eat it as it looked grey. The veggie sticks that I should have ordered were just thick cut carrot that also looked dry. Where was the other veg ??? A mixed grill was also ordered... oh and guess what the chicken was dry and rubbery. Steak not good quality but at least it was cooked as requested. We work hard for our money and at over £70 expect a better quality meal.

First time in here for a while, carvery and cake on offer, nice food , quick service - good value for money. Only negative was the cakes, both of our choices were very dry and lacked flavour

My other half and I have been here a few times, one of them being our very first date! Today we had a meal for 27 people to celebrate our engagement. Initial contact was very difficult as they didn’t answer their phones for a few days and they never responded to the email regarding the meals everyone wanted. When we arrived, the staff couldn’t be more accommodating, they were very patient with us, they took all the orders, they were friendly, welcoming and amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had a brilliant evening. If you fancy a good carvery or a nice pub meal, this is a great place for it, but I warn you, the dessert’s are not for the faint hearted… If you have a severe sweet tooth and a bottomless pit, you may be able to tackle a cake! Highly recommend this place! We will be back.

Great food friendly staff an cakes to die for

Ben was lovely. I was struggling with choosing a cake and asked Ben for advice. He gave his opinion and I ended up with not only buying one slice but two! Service was brill and we will be coming back.

The food was absolutely amazing. And the staff was so polite. But the children's area was appalling. Dirty wall, paint falling off the walls, food all over them, chicken nuggets in the soft play area. Things hanging off the wall. Kings mill farm is such a great pub, but now being parents.. this is letting it down. The pub need to speak to the company about having this renovated to be a clean child friendly environment and have it age stated, so my 2 year old doesn't get taken out by 12 year old throwing soft play cubes.

Had a lovely meal, slight hiccup with the carvery ticket as we ordered on the app. Soon sorted when we went to the bar. Our servers Tina and Maria. We’re lovely. Super fast at taking away dirty plates. Excellent service though out. Unfortunately we was sat next to the children’s play area and we had a triangle cube come flying at the table almost knocking over drinks.

Went for the Carvery. Very similar to the Riverside Carvery in Nottingham which we've used before, think they're the same brewery chain. Generous portions couldn't manage a pudding though you can get cake slices to takeaway.

Good tasty meat at carvery. Ask for some of each meat or get smaller amount. Good choice of vegetables. Broccoli overcooked. Cakes looked lovely and good choice of ice-cream. Good size car park. Return visit October 2024. Good meats. Some green beans were past their best and some new potatoes had gone. off. Would recommend a shelf in front of apple, cranberry , mint and horseradish sauces as difficult to hold plate and put these on plate. Gets busy at times.

Came today for my Dad's 80th birthday party. Everything were perfect. Stuart were the main man sorting us out with extra plates and cutlery for my Dad's birthday cake. A great environment for a party for a few hours especially if you have kids too as they can let off some steam in the play area!!!

Lovely Sunday carvery, fresh and hot. Stuart was a fabulous server, entertained our little guest whilst we collected our lunch. Thank you for a great service.

Great service from Karen today very warm and welcoming and greeted us with a smile, it was also lovely she acknowledged our child and brought him some paper with activities on and crayons to keep him occupied whilst he waited for dinner. Thank you! Carvery was delicious, tikka was lovely and the children’s meal (comes with FREE ice cream) was really good too - clear plates all round speaks for itself. We even got a lovely (ginormous) slice of cake to go!

I’m wondering what happened to the mash potato on the carvery? It looked like rice pudding. I liked the smooth one before they changed it. Please change it back 😵‍💫. Beef was delicious as usual.

Absolutely amazing food, been multiple times and it is always on point, i have only tried the carvery because they are just so nice so i don't bother trying anything else but the menu is massive and everyone else has said that all their food is amazing, worth a try if you haven't been, ill be a return customer for sure!

Had a lovely lunch this afternoon and our naughty Squirrel from my sons Squirrel (scouting) group decided he liked it so much he wanted to stay for his own little adventure. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff not only for the safe return of Squirell but also for making what could have been a disaster into such a nice thing for our son.

Ordered avocado on sourdough with roasted peppers no sourdough so the awful avocado "spread" and raw chunks of pepper were served on a soft white untoasted roll yuck. Beans on toast and breakfast roll satisfactory. Floors and ladies toilets dirty last time for us ps was refunded no problem for the avocado

Ben who served us was absolutely professional, continued to ask if what we ordered was correct, he asked if we wanted any ice or lemon in our cold drinks. He made sure that we was comfortable and well looked after. The food was delicious and served quickly. Very affordable prices, lovely for when you want to eat out with friends and family. Carvery was stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Once was amazing carvery/pub, now a randown disaster. The child’s play area is worn out, overran with children too old for the area. Service was terrible, everyone was extremely blunt, so unwelcoming and rude. This led to an extremely unpleasant atmosphere with adult blindly swearing around my nephew. We spend over £80 on the meal and looking from reviews they are just going to respond to this with an automated response.

A rather tired chain pub, but popular with families

Due to a medical problem, I am struggling to eat and need soft items for me to be able to swallow. It took me some time to choose a meal which I thought I would be able to eat. Unfortunately, apart from soup (maybe) as long as it didn't have any sort of spice in the meal, then I could start eating my meal. I also struggle with eating meat and most other things on the menu were spicy. However, earlier today I was informed by Agnes, that my son looks very professional whilst serving food and being behind the bar. I realise sitting outside does cause an issue especially when the regulars get together and discuss a plan of action. The cakes are amazing, different types and so big too. You can take these home with you, to have later if you can manage it. The cakes are presented in a box for easier carrying.

My partner and I went for the buffet breakfast today. We have been before, but I felt disappointed by what was on offer. There was no black pudding or fried bread and the toast was pale and was like cardboard. Maybe give people the option of just having bread? The food tasted fine, just disappointed with the options on offer.

Love the food here no problems as always. Service was spot on the only issue I had (and I know that it can't be helped) was that young kids were running around screaming, and we weren't in the kids side.

Had a carvery, the meat was decent but the veg and potatoes were dry and had been there quite a time I would say, we visited 3ish on a Monday.

The food is always exceptional here but today the service even more so, have my little girl with me for dining and Ben on shift offered to either watch my child or plate my food for me as I was unable to do both being on my own, going above and beyond normal service I receive here! Brilliant, will always come back!

Our experience was made even better by Ben & Danielle very friendly with a sense of humour and both always smiling ,credit to the business 😀.

Seriously need too sort them bloody breakfast sausages out , bacon looks and tastes boiled or microwaved ..move with the times and up date please.. little fryed potatos..rindless bacon or even spam slices ,smokey bacon ..Lincoln sausage or mini hotdogs , French toast ... or even some chips will do ... gets boring same stuff different day ..

Every time we come and order there is always a mistake with our order simple mistakes like ice in our drinks when we ask for no ice or custard on our deserts when we ask for cream. It's only because the food is so nice that we come back hence the 4 star if it wasn't for the simple mistakes it would be 5 star.

Staff are super friendly, only had a carvery both times I went but it was all hot food and definitely hit the craving for a good roast dinner

Attitude from the carvery deck was appalling, we didn’t receive our carvery tickets with the drinks only got 1 so showed the chef the order and had a stinking attitude from then, put the disintegrating yorkies on plate and slammed the tongs down back into basket. Had to wait 20 mins for our drinks to show up to table. The waitress put a hot plate in front of my 4 year old to which he could have burnt himself!! Pigs were over cooked and looked like they had been sat there for hours. Not a great visit, I understand on Sundays it can be busy and it was warm but still do better. We paid £40 to leave unhappy and angry. Do better.

Called in for Saturday tea, really useful for the grandchildren to have the tv in the booth. Great service, good food and excellent value for money especially the children's meals. Didn't have the carvery, but the menu food was quickly served

We had a lovely guy Stuart help us whilst we were dining here. He interacted with both our children and made our little boys day by giving him sprinkles on his pudding. He was very lovely and we couldn't have had a nicer guy. He popped colouring over for our little boy too who doesn't do well waiting . Thank you Stuart .
