Kings Garden in Crawley

Great Chinese takeaway and has been favourite for years. Not really sure why it has taken so long for me to write a review. Always very tasty and friendly service.

Always consistently good food. Portions are better than others nearby. Noodles are good and not the very cheap thin ones. Ribs are meaty and not covered in batter like other takeaways. Staff always cheerful and helpful. Have been coming here for a long time.

Me and my Wife use to order once or twice a week a few year's back and was the best food in town. So for our anniversary we thought we would treat ourselves to remind of our dating times. Unfortunately when we came to eat our noodles and chicken curry, the food was cold and the chicken was pink. We did call to explain the problem, unfortunately we was told we are making it up and they said they would never let food leave half cooked. The rest of out food was fine. So we felt the quality and magic they once had is gone. Very disappointed and my Wife was upset. Not sure if the Business was busy or some mistakes are made that is fine. Just being told we made it up ruined it for us. We don't want to go back anymore. Sorry it's come to this.

The mixed starter might seem expensive but it is enormous and delicious. The prawn toasts, for example, are the best I've ever had. Seems to me like most dishes are home cooked rather than the usual bought-in pre-made food that other restaurants serve. Give it a try - you'll be pleasantly surprised.

We have been using this takeaway restaurant for a number of years now, always receive service with a smile and food consistently of high quality. Would certainly recommend.

I have been using Kings Garden for years and always enjoyed a great meal. I should really have wrote this review ages ago but after they shut for COVID as part of the UK wide lock down I realised just how much I missed my favourite takeaway.

They kindly agreed to put the food in our own containers which meant that we didn't need to accumulate extra containers. We didn't need a plastic bag either. I say near zero waste as I do not know how the ingredients are sourced. What we ordered arrived quickly, was very tasty and filling.

Been to the takeaway a few times, and the food is generally good. The prices have recently increased by quite a bit once you add all the items ordered up. Most items have gone up in price from 70p upwards including a carton of boiled rice. We also ordered satay mixed vegetables which were tasty but seemed to be made of finely chopped vegetables. Where as in the past large items such as mangetout and baby sweetcorn were used, so not only has the standard of ingredients gone down, the price has increased.

This Chinese takeaway is not open lunchtime and is closed all day on a Tuesday- very tasty food definitely try the Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup well worth a visit

I love the food from here, it always makes me happy and makes for a good and friday night meal, especially for nights in with the family!

We usually have a nice takeaway from kings garden but unfortunately this time the food was very very tasteless and bland just no flavour and watery , such a shame as this is a luxury takeaway for us 😩

Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Very tasty and good value. The staff are friendly and our food was cooked quickly. Excellent!
