Last two times we have been we have waited far too long for the food. Everywhere you look there are tables that need clearing. Presumably not enough staff.

New landlord/landlady poor service at the bar, not enough staff for a bank holiday, staff that was serving didn't take note who was next, 15 minutes to get served not good, hopefully it gets better

Staff were friendly and attentive. Service was quick and efficient. Prices were competitive, especially with the discount vouchers. The pub itself was clean and tidy though decor (eg chair upholstery) could maybe do with a bit of refurbishment. The meal was good quality and hot. Portion size was alright but not massive. Overall a pleasant experience and will definitely come again.

The cheese didn't ooze on the vegaterian burger, but was very tasty. Everything else was very tasty

Well things have changed since Simon and Sue have left. Much as I liked them I think that the stress of running the place had been getting to them ... anyway...we've always enjoyed going there and it was nice to see the young lad Dylan back there too...although in common with most places these days you seem to pay more for smaller portions [sadly]...

I booked the table the day before, ordering was easy , I was able to use my blue light card which bought the bill down considerably, the service was excellent and the foot was delightful.

Always a good meal and great atmosphere at the King’s Corner! Dylan especially was very friendly and provided great service .

This was my first visit since the new manager/s took over The staff were not very forthcoming the food was nothing to write home about the interior is dull and not the cleanest there is no atmosphere at all a lot of the tables still had all the previous diners cutlery etc just left on it for a long time I won't be returning

Visited on Friday 16th with 5 in my party. Food was delicious, great portion sizes and our service was excellent. We were looked after by Charlene who was fab.

Really tasty food, arrived hot and good size portions. We were advised before ordering there was a wait, which we appreciated. Bar service was quick considering it was busy. Friendly staff. Only issue was sticky tables, looked like they had been cleaned but maybe too much cleaning product was used, as it left a sticky residue.

I visited here today with my wife and my niece. We felt that the atmosphere was really good, the food was absolutely terrific and the service we received from Rebecca was brilliant. She was very kind, helpful, friendly and very cheerful.

A table of 14 for my birthday, and all staff was attentive, polite and looked after us well. The food was great especially for a chain pub and the kids loved the play area. We will definitely be back.

Staff work very hard, only small thing to improve on I would advise to bring kids food out before adults.

Great for family get togethers!!!! We booked an area of the pub for 20 people at 2pm for my dad's birthday. When we arrived the landlord (Phil) showed us to our tables. I asked if we could possibly extend the timing for longer and he said yes of course is 8pm okay? I said that's fantastic. He then a said I've done one better and got you tables til 9pm! Amazing. We all had a great time and a good laugh with the other bloke behind the bar Rob? (wearing) he was so friendly. The blonde lady with the ponytail Rebecca/Charlotte? was also attentive and friendly. The service was brilliant and we got drinks served quickly everytime. The food was fantastic, all of our guests said they would be returning. We had children with us too and it was great to see them use the play area and have fun. We sat inside, in the beer garden and the smoking area. Since Phil has taken over the pub only seems to be on the rise. I have been visiting since a kid (in my 30s now) and now my kids can visit. The old landlords Susan and simon Scholes only seemed to stay irrelevant and not put any effort into the pub. The menu has changed for the better - kebabs are insane. The beer/cider/cocktail and shots offering are so much better too. I look forward to many more visits this year and also looking forward to the next live music they have and summer activities. We really enjoyed our family meal today, everyone's food was perfect. The service from Rebecca and Crystal was brilliant, they brought everything out together, chatted to the children and made sure we had everything we needed. The colouring and games for children was a really nice touch and they didn't get bored whilst waiting. The price of our meal was really reasonable considering the quality of our food. We all agreed it was 5 stars for everything and we shall look forward to returning soon.

Booked online very easy. Warm welcome from all especially Rob who was behind the bar. He showed us to our table. We had a dog with us and we had a choice of where to sit in their dog friendly area. They brought the dog a bowl of water and were really happy to see him. Rebecca was very helpful when ordering food. Will definitely go back for Sunday lunch.

Appalling. Waited 50 minutes for food with no warning. Then they got my 6 year old daughters order wrong, they didn't send out the veg. Her food came out last. Also, my six year old daughter found a mousetrap under one of the seats which makes us question your hygiene standards and not want to go there again. Mentioned all this to one of your waiters. He did nothing and no discount weas offered to us.

The booking was very easy online. When we arrived we were shown our table which was large enough for our guests. The young lady at the bar was very good and tge service was excellent. The food was very good.

I normally enjoy coming to the kings corner however this visit was incredibly disappointing in lots of way, Had steak meat was incredibly tough to the point that it was even uncrewable left 75% of it because of this, came with 3 mushrooms they were the smallest of mushrooms too I know there's a cost of living issue but that was ridiculous, overall was an inedible meal and incredibly poor given the price, complained at the time but this was ignored, There was only one option on the carvery both adults and children's due to running out yet we had booked!!! Most things on the menu were unavailable, There is coloring available but there was only 3 pots with 3 pencils in each and 90% blunt!!! We had 6 children with us!!! Overall was really poor

I booked the silver buffet for 35 people in a cordoned off area for a funeral wake. The food was a combination of hot/cold and was really good. The staff were excellent and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The manager was great and very responsive to my emails

Not enough staff on the floor or bar for a busy weekend tables left untidy between starter and main meal was an 45/50min wait when main meal arrived chicken was rubber chips were cold.

They had no sirloin steak left so I had rump , I’m not convinced it was rump it was very thin and so tough I couldn’t even cut with a steak knife , the worst steak Iv ever had anywhere , no one came to check my meal was ok either , not at all a good experience

Nice friendly greeting on arrival. The table was ready for us there was eight of us and one was in a wheelchair but we had plenty of room. The ordering was very good and pleasant, the food arrived a short time later for all eight of us. Wonderful service will recommend this to friends and family again thanks

Staff are friendly polite and helpful. Theyre always so busy but make time to talk and interact with everyone. Place is always buzzing and happy. We’ve eaten here many times and the food is always lovely and quick. Never have to wait too long and it’s always served in a nice manner

Not been for a while ( 8 months)... food was very nice tho portion size was poor, scampi & literally few chips and 3 table spoons of peas! ( could have ate twice tbh) .. few tables still to be cleaned ... bar staff could be little happier but tbh who is at work ... overall food nice but standards fallen imo..

Everyone was polite and delivered the service we required ' food was as described and we were allowed to enjoy our meal at our pace.

Ten of us went for a meal today 5 adults 5 children we got the kids eat for £1 with every adult meal and saved ourselves £25! The service was lovely. 3 girls on the bar were so patient and helpful. And there was a gentleman there too who was also really lovely. Food was a 10/10 happy tums! :)

Dylan was an excellent host, he is always very friendly and polite. Today he dealt with a coffee spill promptly and was very attentive to the elderly gentlemen who spilt the coffee. We visit most Friday lunchtimes , the staff are always excellent!

I had the chicken and mushroom pie think it had been microwaved too long pastry hard and the pie was very dry no sauce in the pie at all. Chips were good gravy nice Ordered using the QR code which was quick and easy went at 1730 so busy time maybe that had an impact on the quality of food

the starters were a lot smaller than anticipated, and some of the food quality wasnt the absolute best.

Food is below average . Staff are nice but hears one waitress saying she has to go home and sort 🤬kids out as they been sick all night and day . Think ur missing my point if ur serving food and kids have a sick bug probably best not go into work !!

Rachel, Ellie, krystel, and Dylan we absolutely exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an 18th and 13th birthday and it went so smoothly because of them. They communicated really well with what we wanted and we have had the best day celebrating whilst they made sure we were all looked after. Thanks guys! It was perfect ! Xxxx

Kings corner was rather busy as it was a Sunday lunch time but the staff continued to work with excellent customer service towards all. The food was well done and although we had a long wait it was expected for us, the kids were able to play on the park and we're entertained

The service and timeliness of the food was very good. My only complaint is that you were in the process of changing your wine selection and only had one glass left of my chosen Shiraz. I was forced to pay 75p more for the next choice which I felt was a bit unfair considering that the problem was of your making. I always think that your food tastes very nice but always looks drab on the plate due to the lack of a garnish. In my case, I had a burger. Really nice but could do with a salad to make it look more appetising.

Can't have a tab for a table. bar staff are slow and don't have a clue tje place is dirty and the food is appalling not one of us out of a table of 4 got a decent meal! Small portions over cooked and poorly presented!

I am sorry to say, That as it was my Birthday and Anniversary, The experience was disappointing, I ordered two sirloin steak meals, well done, One of which was medium rare, There was only one member of staff at the bar, And when i ordered Irish coffee, We got a cup of coffee with a small jug of milk and a shot of whisky, instead of ready made in a glass.
