The food was awful, took ages to get to us and the steak was chewy also the restaurant was boiling hot so it was just an uncomfortable experience

food was nice however late getting mains and we had to wait for items missing off main meals

Fantastic venue, amazing staff and good food that does not brake the bank.

Diabolical Booked a table over a week ago With our dog Went for our booking was booked a table without our dog chased around looking for another table which was directly Infront of a open door they obviously gave our table away tries to have a chat with the manager only to be fobbed off Ended up walking out Suppose to be dog friendly more like dog tolerant and bad place keep your money find somewhere else

After not visiting for a long time we have been twice in last two weeks, food and drink was good and reasonable prices. Shout out to Dylan for going above and beyond. Has definitely seen an improvement under new management and even better that we can take the dog.

**Food Review: Kings Corner** I recently dined at Kings Corner and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. First and foremost, I never received the Prawn Cocktail I ordered, which was disappointing. My friend, I ordered extra chips, faced a similar issue. Although he was served before me, his dinner arrived with his wife's sausage and mash but apparently had the extra chips on, which was not part of the original order. This lack of attention to detail really affected our meal. To top it all off, we were informed that there were no desserts available, which was a letdown since we were looking forward to finishing our meal on a sweet note. Overall, the poor service and mix-ups with our orders have left a sour taste in my mouth. I won’t be returning to Kings Corner anytime soon.

We've been semi regulars at the King's Corner for a long while now. Today we we're served by Dylan who was very friendly and attentive. He also remembered us which was nice to feel our custom is appreciated. The food was good as always, we'd love to give the full 5 stars but but I feel the staff don't have enough time to keep the tables cleared and the loos aren't always that nice... We enjoy our visits and we will be in again soon.

Nice place, however I thought drink prices were expensive, 5 pounds for a stella shandy, due to myself driving, beer was warm, lemonade was flat, but charging full price when you only have less than half a pint of beer is extortionate. However I can highly recommend the food, very nice, and good price, just need to reduce the shandy cost.

Very pleased every time I have visited to have my allergy taken seriously. The NGCI menu has a good choice. We have enjoyed the live musicians too.

Just had great lunch using a 30% voucher. Hunters Chicken and an Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken burger, both well cooked and presented and nice and hot. Great fast and friendly service from the staff too especially Dylan, Lexi, Mat and Chris.

Last two times we have been we have waited far too long for the food. Everywhere you look there are tables that need clearing. Presumably not enough staff.

Was unfortunately a very disappointing meal. The bar was evidently understaffed, which isn't a problem for me as such, but the staff weren't coping well which meant they were quite frankly rude and nasty. My medium rare steak was blue, i'm sure I could hear it moo.

New landlord/landlady poor service at the bar, not enough staff for a bank holiday, staff that was serving didn't take note who was next, 15 minutes to get served not good, hopefully it gets better

Staff were friendly and attentive. Service was quick and efficient. Prices were competitive, especially with the discount vouchers. The pub itself was clean and tidy though decor (eg chair upholstery) could maybe do with a bit of refurbishment. The meal was good quality and hot. Portion size was alright but not massive. Overall a pleasant experience and will definitely come again.

Well things have changed since Simon and Sue have left. Much as I liked them I think that the stress of running the place had been getting to them ... anyway...we've always enjoyed going there and it was nice to see the young lad Dylan back there too...although in common with most places these days you seem to pay more for smaller portions [sadly]...

This was my first visit since the new manager/s took over The staff were not very forthcoming the food was nothing to write home about the interior is dull and not the cleanest there is no atmosphere at all a lot of the tables still had all the previous diners cutlery etc just left on it for a long time I won't be returning

I booked the table the day before, ordering was easy , I was able to use my blue light card which bought the bill down considerably, the service was excellent and the foot was delightful.

Visited on Friday 16th with 5 in my party. Food was delicious, great portion sizes and our service was excellent. We were looked after by Charlene who was fab.

Not one of the best meals I've had here, but management was on it and gave us free desserts. 10/10 for that ✅️

Really tasty food, arrived hot and good size portions. We were advised before ordering there was a wait, which we appreciated. Bar service was quick considering it was busy. Friendly staff. Only issue was sticky tables, looked like they had been cleaned but maybe too much cleaning product was used, as it left a sticky residue.

Great for family get togethers!!!! We booked an area of the pub for 20 people at 2pm for my dad's birthday. When we arrived the landlord (Phil) showed us to our tables. I asked if we could possibly extend the timing for longer and he said yes of course is 8pm okay? I said that's fantastic. He then a said I've done one better and got you tables til 9pm! Amazing. We all had a great time and a good laugh with the other bloke behind the bar Rob? (wearing) he was so friendly. The blonde lady with the ponytail Rebecca/Charlotte? was also attentive and friendly. The service was brilliant and we got drinks served quickly everytime. The food was fantastic, all of our guests said they would be returning. We had children with us too and it was great to see them use the play area and have fun. We sat inside, in the beer garden and the smoking area. Since Phil has taken over the pub only seems to be on the rise. I have been visiting since a kid (in my 30s now) and now my kids can visit. The old landlords Susan and simon Scholes only seemed to stay irrelevant and not put any effort into the pub. The menu has changed for the better - kebabs are insane. The beer/cider/cocktail and shots offering are so much better too. I look forward to many more visits this year and also looking forward to the next live music they have and summer activities.
