Food is always of high quality.

Will never order from this place again. Waited 2 hr when contact shop they assured it would be fresh and hot.after a second phone call, they still insisted that it was on its way and would be hot. When it arrived, it was inedible and a total waste of money. It all went into the bin. I dont leave posts often, good or bad, unless I feel it is needed. AVOID THIS PLACE DUE TO MY EXPERIENCE...

Ordered a single fish supper, fritter and curry sauce. Everything was luke warm and I felt a little put out by the size of a single supper. I wish I had ordered the bigger one now. The single supper is VERY small. I would prefer the fish to have more of a crispy batter but tasted fine all the same. A handful of chips is a bit sad for the price. Fritter was as expected as a fritter. Tasty meal but definitely lacking in portion sizes so that's why I've marked it down one star.

Been lucky enough to NEVER having a “bad delivery” from Kings Chippy. The food has always been great, in terms of quality and quality. The food is always delicious and hot. Highly Recommend.

Food was nice however when the order was placed it gave me the choice of mixed pakora or chaat , chose pakora…. Said that I would receive a can of juice… no option button for me to choose my own. When the delivery came I didn’t receive pakora I received a small fish supper… none of us eat fish so it went to our neighbour. When I called the girl said they have been asking JE to fix it. That’s fair enough but I think maybe next order that comes in like that you should call the customer to say so.

Food was excellent, 1st time ordering and definitely my go to for chippy.

The delivery was fast, but unfortunately, the fritters were undercooked, leaving most of them inedible.

nothing worse than a chippy with no salt and vinegar. left a message on notes also phoned shop to make sure they put salt and vinegar on my dinner as i was at work and disnt have any in work. food came with 0 salt and vinegar. ruined dinner

Fish wasn’t well battered when you picked a piece of fish it was the batter you got then you had to get a piece of fish as for the chips they weren’t that warm will think twice about another order. DAVID HOPKINS

Ordered from Uber ordered small fish & chips and nuggets meal and fritters came like kids meals was very greasy fish was soggy chips was soggy fritters was soggy the only good thing out the whole meal was the gravy certainly wouldn’t be using again only ordered as my usual chippy was closed

As usual, the fish was delicious but, this time the fish was tiny.

Ordered 2 fish suppers and a sausage supper. Had food from here before which was good but haven’t used in a while. I’m afraid we were really disappointed with the food tonight. Batter really thick and food hadn’t been cooked long enough so was just chewy and a bit tasteless tbh. Fish was limp and just stodgy. Even the cat didn’t eat the bit of fish I gave him. Real shame as food has been good in the past.

Was on time but food was stone cold I get there busy ect but it's a 6 mins drive from me just don't understand how food can get stop cold on a short drive won't be back it has happened before unfortunately it's a bit of a hit and miss

Hi , my order didn't arrive for an hour and half, it was actually delivered to 11 Alloway crescent not 40 and my neighbour only took it in as she was waiting on a Chinese delivery herself she actually queried the delivery at time and was told all ok but when she opened then obviously it was wrong, the only reason I eventually got the order was she actually went about the doors to ask ,eventually got order which was stone cold at time ,I order without fail every week from yourselves but on this occasion the driver was shocking and makes me question my choice going forward. Freezing and the pizza was awful

This is a takeaway place only. Sometimes when i'm passing i pop in for a portion of their delicious vegetable pakora.The portion is generous at £4.50. I have had the odd curry which was excellent too.I have not tried any traditional chip shop fare so can't comment. Home delivery is available also. The takeaway is well positioned on the only strip of shops on the main Kings Park side of Castlemilk Road. The strip is well served with 5 takeaways.🤪

Delicious food, delivered piping hot by a very pleasant driver.

Batter on fish was rock solid and chips were rotten.

Didn't think much of the scampi, but the veg pakora was the best I've had in a long time. I would have preferred it be a little less hot. I'm looking forward to trying the mushroom and chicken pakoras

Ordered pepperoni pizza and it was undercooked. Tomato sauce it was not and cheese burnt. Will never order from them again.

Food was cold mean portion of chips. Think it must have changed owners as it’s rotten and Greasy. My hamburger tasted like one of those tinned ones.

Soggy greasy inedible even after put in the air fryer to try and reduce grease. Change your vats your oil is rank and lesson learnt from me

Ordered a pizza meal deal and didn’t get the pizza. The chips I got weren’t even great. Got refunded £2.70 which is just ridiculous. Avoid this place, you will regret it if you order from here.

Best chippy in the area by a country mile. Great value for money, massive portions. Special king rib is phenomenal, special fish delicious. Even the basic sausage supper hits the spot. Traditional curry sauce, bubbly batter, fritters nice and crisp. Lady serving was lovely to chat to, made in record time with condiments added to preference. Been a long time since we had a chippy in the west as good as this. (Anstruther was our local previously)

Unfortunately I never got what I asked for. I asked for cheese on my chips and salt and vinegar and never received that

Have used Kings Chippy several times, no issues. Tonight the food was late and then showed as delivered. So I contacted Kings Chippy who called me back and assured it was mistake and the food was just on its way. Asked specifically if it was fresh as it was showing in transit for over 30 minutes and was assured it was. It arrived a few minutes later and was lukewarm at best with one supper just wrapped in paper so was therefore cold, having been driven round for 40 mins before delivery

As stated many times before the quality and quantity of the food, plus the speed of delivery and the courtesy of deliverer are second to none.

Scampi supper is tasty. Chips great too. No grease. No nasty cheap cooking oil. Recommend chippy.

Not sure if it's under new owners but this place has drastically changed. I ordered tonight and couldn't be happier with the food I received. The kids munchie box is such good value for money and the food was really tasty aswell. I got a crunch munch box, all my chippy favourites, I got our dinner for under 15 including delivery. Couldn't be more chuffed 😊

Worst chippy I’ve ever had. Arrived 1hr 20 mins after order. And not the first time. Look through the reviews on just eat. Cold, congealed mess with no offer of refund. An absolute joke. Inedible food

Horrendous. Arrived a cold, congealed mess with an excuse of ‘busy period’. If you’re going to run an offer then put more drivers on instead of delivering cold food. THE WORST just eat I’ve ever had.

Fish and chips were cold even recieveing early the fish was no where as near as good as it was when ordered before and chips were cold and soggy

Arrived pretty quickly but disippointed by quality as fried chicken was still pink, hamburger was soaked in oil and tasted not done inside and portion of chips, cheese and gravy for price of £6 was really small.

Much better this time with the supper in a box so it hadn't went all soggy and stuck to the paper like the last time. Sauce that comes with the pizza is amazing !!

Would love to come here and say the foods amazing and well worth it as I normally would but between the extremely late delivery to the fact despite saying no salt n vinegar on the order it was on my order, wouldn't order from here again no salt n vinegar on my food is a must and it was absolutely soaked in vinegar paper was stuck to the food with it and that's not on as far as I'm concerned I bought food to put in the bin and any chippie that fails to read I dint take salt n vinegar in ky orders no linger deserves my service, won't he buying from here again 😡
