Kings Chippy in South Lanarkshire

This is a takeaway place only. Sometimes when i'm passing i pop in for a portion of their delicious vegetable pakora.The portion is generous at £4.50. I have had the odd curry which was excellent too.I have not tried any traditional chip shop fare so can't comment. Home delivery is available also. The takeaway is well positioned on the only strip of shops on the main Kings Park side of Castlemilk Road. The strip is well served with 5 takeaways.🤪

Food was cold mean portion of chips. Think it must have changed owners as it’s rotten and Greasy. My hamburger tasted like one of those tinned ones.

Ordered a pizza meal deal and didn’t get the pizza. The chips I got weren’t even great. Got refunded £2.70 which is just ridiculous. Avoid this place, you will regret it if you order from here.

Best chippy in the area by a country mile. Great value for money, massive portions. Special king rib is phenomenal, special fish delicious. Even the basic sausage supper hits the spot. Traditional curry sauce, bubbly batter, fritters nice and crisp. Lady serving was lovely to chat to, made in record time with condiments added to preference. Been a long time since we had a chippy in the west as good as this. (Anstruther was our local previously)

was honestly amazing and then i opened the burger n it was RAW . i’m honestly baffled cause this was so good

Not sure if it's under new owners but this place has drastically changed. I ordered tonight and couldn't be happier with the food I received. The kids munchie box is such good value for money and the food was really tasty aswell. I got a crunch munch box, all my chippy favourites, I got our dinner for under 15 including delivery. Couldn't be more chuffed 😊

Worst chippy I’ve ever had. Arrived 1hr 20 mins after order. And not the first time. Look through the reviews on just eat. Cold, congealed mess with no offer of refund. An absolute joke. Inedible food

Raw chips and soggy pizza crunch cans were in same bag as food and hot

Worst chip shop in city second time order paid but never arrived I do not write reviews but the attitude fron staff was Obnoxious and disgusting advise everyone to go elsewhere !!

More than dissappointed. Has been going downhill for ages but last night was the worst. Ordered on the Kings Chippy App. Food was charged but never arrived. When we called after 40 mins we were told they had the order, food was on its way and would be another half hour. When we called back half an hour they said they'd never had the order and there is no Kings Chippy App. When I went to the shop they finally accepted there was a Kings Chippy App but it didn't work, so they didn't receive the order. When I asked for a refund they said they'd cancelled the order and I'd have to ask the App developer for a refund. One way or other they are not telling the truth, either they didn't get the order, or they did and cancelled it. It can't be both!

Just had an order from here , it went into the bin after 1 mouthful . King rib had no flavour , gravy tasted burnt and onion rings were cold , batter is too thick . Waste of money

Used to be great service but has gone downhill rapidly.. last time I ordered the food was cold. Decided to give another go and this time order never arrived from uber.. attitude of staff when I called was disgusting and arrogant advising not their problem take it up with uber....won't be using ever again. Suggest staff take a customer service course.

We ordered there fish, sausage and black pudding muchie box, great value for money and also was the best fish and chips I've had for a long time, thankyou will definitely be coming back

All I can say is see all these fish shops that dont take cash payments cant be interested in making money itll no be long before they start asking for hand out all I can say it them is good luck with that

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD Food was frozen pizza looked as tho had been sitting out for a while phoned and they couldn’t careless customer service is a disgrace won’t be ordering again and advice everyone else not to ether

Placed an order for delivery, it never arrived! Contacted them after 2 hours, was told it's just leaving. Another 2 hours and they won't even answer the phone. Had to make alternative arrangements for feeding my kids, one of which is diabetic and was going into a hypo and needed to eat. Disgraceful service.

Pizza crunch is meant to b crunchy not soggy n soft was horrible 😭

Ordered fish (2 piece ) when I got home the 2nd bit of fish was hidden under the larger piece was child size disgrace. Especially when the menu said 2 piece fillet. Took it back staff couldnt care less just shrugged shoulder and said I was busy. I WONT BE BACK. I thought busineses were trying to get business not chase people away.

Brilliant food at a great price and the staff are really helpful and friendly
