Haggis bon bons and black pudding fritters tasted very salty....Wasn't happy with the food at all. Ruined my night's meal cause I couldn't finish it, so it went straight in the garbage and a waste of money.

Great service and very fast delivery.

I usually love their food but this time everything was overcooked, sorry to say. First time getting poor quality. Hopefully just a one off.

We live in Burntisland but this is our go to chippy, food is always fresh and spot on. Wish the delivery time was abit better but overall its worth the wait. Thanks!

Lovely as usual, and good portion of fish ‘n’ chips. Only thing was, the coleslaw portion was quite miserable. Barely covered the bottom of the polystyrene container. It was very nice coleslaw, but a bit of a mean portion. Also, don’t we need to be getting away from polystyrene? Difficult to have coleslaw in biodegradable, I appreciate that, but at least with plastic it’s reusable/recyclable. Otherwise lovely ☺️

I've used the Kinghorn Chip Shop many times and I've never been disappointed.

Perfect, highly recommend the Fireball Calzone. My only regret is not getting a bigger size so I could save some for later! Thankyou.

Was great onion rings and bajis were burnt everything else was great hence 4 stars. Would been 5 otherwise.

I ordered a gluten free chicken tikka kebab myself with no pitta bread and normal kebab for my partner. When I went to collect they had actually gone to a local supermarket and bought gluten free pitta bread for me. Excellent customer service. Informed me that chilli sauce wasn’t gf but would make a gf batch in future. Kebabs were really good and tasty, will definitely return

I'm not sure what was so salty on the pizza, maybe the fajita chicken, but it was far too salty I couldn't eat it, absolutely awful. I was starving too after waiting 2 hours!! for it to arrive. Far too long. I won't be using this takeaway again.

Have just moved to Kirkcaldy and was struggling to find a gluten free chippy for my daughter who is coeliac. Found the Kinghorn Chippy and she loved the gluten free fish and chips. My husband really enjoyed his breaded fish and I thought the white pudding was fabulous. We are delighted to have found a good chippy that caters for all our foodie needs.

the food is good for a chippy and the little lady that delivers it is amazingly friendly.

I’ve never had a delivery in under 2 hours but I don’t care. The food has always arrived roasting hot and tastes amazing. Always worth the wait!

Very good service takes time some times as the cook every thing to order but 100% worth wait even for the real potato chips

Calzone was badly burnt on the bottom. Could only eat the top and filling.

The food is always amazing from here. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal. Lovely fresh food and always hot when delivered. It's a busy place so make sure you pay attention to delivery times and if you want your food at a certain time, order ahead. There can be quite a wait but it always comes within the estimated time. First class every time.

I have had quite a lot of orders from here in the past & everything had been excellent, until tonight,I ordered a munchie box...The only thing good about it was the cold can of juice,everything tasted wrong about it & the donner meat smelt like it had gone off,so it all ended up in the bin....very disappointed 😞 😢

Take their time with 60-70 mins but worth the wait.

We ordered a large fish supper, single spicy haggis, coleslaw and curry sauce … to use later. We were a bit disappointed with the coleslaw, needed more mayonnaise and wasn’t as big a portion as expected, i.e. it didn’t fill the tub. Was made from nice fresh vegetables though. Also, the chips were a bit soggy, used to be Kinghorn chippie could be relied upon for crispy chips. And have to say, fish fillets are quite small. We appreciate that everything’s more expensive nowadays but it shouldn’t affect quality of the meal. We’d rather pay a bit more and get a quality meal. We are in Burntisland so might try more local chippies. Shame cos used to love Kinghorn chippie.

Absolutely ah-mazing. Loved it as we are both on gluten free diet so getting from the gf menu here was so satisfying as ages since I had a proper chippy tea.

Large fish supper was more like a kids fish supper very small fillets I've had bigger frozen from aldi.

Only complaint is why have to wait over an 1hr for order to get delivered once placed order. I ordered at 6.30 and delivery btween 7.40 - 8pm!!!

We waited around 45 minutes for the food (ordered in the shop) which is not a problem for good food. The fish wasn’t great - the batter was soft and a bit soggy, and one of the pieces was full of bones. The taste really wasn’t great. The chips and sausage were nice enough.

Our food was so late, we waited hours on a delivery only for it to be disappointing. Fish supper was terrible, half the chips were dry and un-edible and the fish was full of bones so all went in the bin. Kids ate the pizza as they had waited long enough but it didn't look very appetising at all. Sorry to say won't be ordering again.

I have now waited over 2 and a half hours on my food and it’s still not here, this is unacceptable

Our food eventually arrived nearly 3 hours after it was ordered. I called at 8.50pm to be told it would be 10mins, it arrived at 9.25pm. The excuse was the local chippy is closed, why keep accepting orders when you clearly can’t get them out in a reasonable time?

Very nice food but takes so long to get here I ended up with a pizza I didn't need as my little one had to go to bed and had to cook him something else before then I won't eat it either cause I don't like what's on it

Ordered food at 6.35. Order page said 70-85 minutes. Once I paid my money, it said delivery between 8.20 and 8.40, so 105-125 minutes. Delivery finally turned up at 9.00. Then to cap it all, I asked the driver (calmly) to let you know I was unhappy - "tell them yourself" she said - so I am. I know it's Saturday and I know you're busy but to keep a regular customer waiting like that just isn't good enough. If this happens again, you'll lose a customer - and that would be a shame because the food is always excellent. Phil

I ordered a calzone but got a Cheeseburger pizza instead.. not a big deal as it can be folded… 😎 but was not as ordered, however staff did call me up and admit there had been a mistake and offer to send the driver up with the cash difference 👍. We all make mistakes especially when busy..

Food was fresh, piping hot, delivered ahead of time and absolutely delicious.

The best takeaway I’ve ever had with a hangover. I could not believe how good it was, I’m ordering the same thing again a week later it was that good. The Mexican wrap was far bigger than I imagined and was the wrap of dreams. The Mac and cheese bites were the most perfect crunch. Could not recommend more.

The delivery was on time but it took 1hr and 40minutes! For a chip shop to be 10mimutes a long the road it's pretty slow and poor. Also the chips had been sitting to long so most of them was hard. Also the fish was tiny and poor quality. Won't be ordering from here again.

Normally love kinghorn chippy but what a joke tonight. I Understand it’s a Saturday night but the Food took 3 hours to get here and now that it’s finally here the food is freezing and they forgot the curry sauce. Won’t be ordering again in a hurry.

Have to say, the best pizza I've had in a while. Food was roasting on arrival and the tomato base was delicious! Had stopped by a few weeks ago to get a supper and thought we would try pizza delivered this time. Will 100% use again!

I was late ordering and asked for it to be delivered asap. Guidance time was 50 to 75 minutes and delivered in 35! Excellent service for peak time Friday evening and as delicious as always 😋

Was due for delivery 1hr 50 minutes after being ordered at 5 o’clock. And wasn’t delivered until almost 3 hours after ordering. Food was out for delivery for 35 minutes before it got delivered and was cold

Dreadful service and no communication about how late it was going to be until I followed it up.

Recently moved to Kinghorn, delivery drivers welcomed us to the area and was exceptionally polite. Since then have ordered several meals from this chip shop, historically I have always found chip shops to be hit or miss but this chip shop has been superb each and every time and food is also very good value and quality for the money. I cannot recommend them more highly as they have exceeded expectations on each occasion.
