Arrived here not realising it gets packed before a match. Doesn’t deter me as I know everything’s cooked fresh. Cash only due to card charges, don’t blame them at all. By not using cash we give the card companies a payday everyday, and the retailers are struggling. Back to the chippy- a really good portion of chips and a huge fish. The patties and sausage were very good as well and real chippy gravy. Will be back. A very good chippy in west hull with great staff.

My usual go to chippy. The food is lovely as is the staff but opening hours are not always stuck to. Twice i have being recently when it says it open only to get there and find the shutters down which is a shame as it makes me reconsider going again incase the same thing happens.

Just visited the shop.Quality food,fast and efficient service.Medium fish and chips £5.Yes £5.I had to ask twice to confirm the price,as I thought I’d misheard.Friendly staff. Obviously I will be going again.

Fish and chip special was the perfect size and at £5 was excellent value , fish was fresh and tasty and the batter was crispy ! I will definitely go back 😊

Came in for myself and my work colleges all 6 fish where cooked to perfection. My college said his large sausage was beaut too. Serving staff was also extremely good too. We’ll definitely be using again.

Very busy on match days queueing out the door but very quick service, very pleasant staff and quality fish and chips. Plenty of food ready so little waiting time. Fish and chips special only £4, piping hot, very fresh and great value.

Each time we were passing through we always visited this chippie. It used to have the best patties and curry sauce ever. We have been twice in the last few months and could have cried. Has their been a change in ownership or a change in suppliers? What a shame. We use to tell everyone we knew to go as it was great... it is a real shame as it's a great location and the staff are so lovely... please give us our patties and curry sace back.

been going to Kingfisher for years now. Fish chips, peas and gravy..... yum. The gravy is so dark and tasty. The fish is excellent with a rich taste.

Visited before the Hull v Forest game. The batter on the fish was perfect,nice and crispy. Will visit again next time in Hull. Very friendly staff too.

Stopped and got a takeaway fish and chip lunch from this lovely fish and chip shop. The meal was excellent. Will go there again.

Not a bad chippy sometimes the food is greasy as are a lot of chippys. Decent portions selling cos ,haddock, chips ect

Always look forward to a visit here after shopping in this area (15 miles from home) and we are never disappointed. Fish always fresh and the perfectly cooked and tasty batter (recipe is the frier's secret!) is always delicious. Hubby and his football mates always lunch here before a Hull City home match. Food is always hot, shop very clean and staff are nice and sociable. Can't fault it in any way.

i often eat from here very fresh always cooked to perfection and staff friendly, I go Maybe 3 times a month for food and its always been very very good. nothing to complain about. Proper fish and chips right colour of chips right taste right price Sunday large fish n chips 5.00 bargain. Thanks for great product Kingfisher.

Came here on hull fair week..chips were sloppy and greasy and it was expensive and the woman that was serving on the night that fair opened was rude

Stopped here to get a typical fish and chip takeaway, and was not disappointed. The service was good and the food was excellent. recommend this typical fish and chip shop to anyone with a taste for fish and chips.

Popped in here many times over the years. The staff and management are always pleasant and polite. Food is always spot on. Can't recommend highly enough.

I had fish and chips, again, from Kingfisher. It is always consistent, always good and cannot be beaten in Hull. Don't concern yourselves with others, go here. You will not regret it.Karl is still the chef. He is friendly, informative, if you wish, and provides quality fish, and quality chips.This is one of the very few restaurants where I can consistently get a meal, where I never need to add any tomato sauce. The cost is £3.90 - incredible value..
