Almorzamos aquí la semana pasada. Nuestras comidas fueron muy agradables. Un buen tamaño de porción también. El servicio fue estupendo. . .

This area is no stranger to Turkish eateries, but I was kebabbed to find the British themed Kingfisher not far from the Kingsland station and Shanghai Chinese restaurant. A tidy interior with waitress service, and constant attention to wiping vacated tables and the floor when needed. Samples of home made apple crumble behind the counter with salads, but the mainly English range of hot dishes including omelettes was what some high viz jacketed customers wanted, along with beverages or canned soft drinks. The "shep" was £6.40 and worth the price with several vegetables, but I missed the ice cream and apple crumble for an extra £3, (ice cream alone £2) The three specials are on a blackboard outside, but there is a slightly well thumbed menu on most tables.

So many traditional London cafes have now closed down, so it is great to know that there is always the Kingfisher, if you fancy a fry up, a roast dinner or just beans on toast. Fantastic service - nothing is too much trouble, and will happily go off-menu for fussy eaters. Food cheap and very cheerful.

I moved to Ireland 15 years ago and whenever I am in London I eat at Kingfisher Cafe, the service is excellent. The portions of food are very generous and the food itself is amazing. The prices are amazing too. I got a full breakfast for myself, my partner and my 2 kids and it was less than £20.

Dalston is not short of places to eat, but few of them were around when the Kingfisher opened at the begining of the century. It is open from first thing in the morning untl late afternoon sering breakfasts, lunches, snacks to a wide range of the population of the area including staff from offices and shops, building workers, pensioners and families with children. In addition to the standard menu, there is a succession of daily lunch specials including cod and chips on Fridays and usually salt beef on Tuesday. In these days of large catering suppliers, a feature of the Kingfisher is that most of the vegetables are prepared on the premises So if anyone wants unsophisticated well-cooked food in a friendly setting and is in the Dalston area, th Kingfisher is highly recommended. .

I haven't lived in the UK for over 20 years but always try fish and chips somewhere when I'm here on business. This place is honestly the best fish and chips Ive had in decades. Staff were low key and friendly, sat outside with a nice beer watching the world go by. Really loved my haddock, so crispy and just the right amount of batter. A very chilled and relaxed dinner on my own.

First of all its terrible how one has to use a card and tap your pin numbers on a tablet size screen that is not near to the user, hence stretching over the counter and anyone in the shop if wanted could see what's been pressed. Absolutely no privacy plus I was not even told how much the coffee's are or given a receipt. But the worst of this visit was once I had paid I was told to go outside and wait at a window or them to be made, It was raining I was freezing and the man who I might have been new took 7 mins to make 2 coffee's whilst I waited outside getting cold. Maye I could understand this method if the shop were busy. I could have easily stood inside from the rain and wait for the coffee's The coffee was pleasant would have been nice if there was a choice of a medium instead of only a small. cup it would have been nice if it was warmer not tepid

One of the best tapas restaurants I have ever been to in London! We managed to make a last-minute same-day reservation on a Saturday evening at 7 and the food absolutely didn't disappoint. Upon arrival at the restaurant I immediately had a good feeling about the food quality because we got to sit at the kitchen counter seeing how they prepare everything in front of our eyes and all the tapas looked absolutely amazing. We went with the plain tortilla, seabass ceviche, fried chick peas, braised beef cheek in apple sauce and roast lamb cutlet with hummus. Tortilla was creamy and savoury, ceviche was super fresh and sauce was so refreshing with the grapes it's definitely a good way to prepare your palette for something even more flavourful. The fried chickpeas were such a pleasant surprise with its savoury taste from the batter and it went nicely as a side with the beef in apple sauce to enhance that flavour profile. The beef was super tender and melted in your mouth and the apple sauce had a pleasant flavour to it. The lamb was a little chewy for me personally but together with the hummus it was great. Service was amazing with friendly waiters and chefs serving throughout our time there. I was really satisfied by the experience and would definitely come back soon.

This place started as a pop up place around the are and now they have their own permanent place. I went there with a friend to see what is like. Customer service is excellent. It was not busy but the atmosphere was good with some good music. We ordered cocktails and food both really good. They do happy hour 3-7pm two cocktails for £14 pounds. We had the wings and the shrimp fries. Drinks were good and strong. I recommend checking it!
