Kilikya Mile End in Tower Hamlets

I couldn't recommend this place more. We'd been looking for a good Turkish restaurant to dine at for a while, and only happened to stumble across this one while going for a run along the canal. It's just off Mile End Road but is so peaceful in comparison. It's well-decorated and has a balcony to dine outside in the summer months that looks over the canal. The service was extremely good (almost fine-dining standard). The food itself was delicious and generous portions - the bread in particular was extremely tasty. We're planning to go again for sure!

pan delicioso, comida súper sabrosa y una decoración encantadora. Un poco fuera de lo común, lo que supongo es por eso que no está súper ocupado sino una hermosa decoración de restaurante. Ideal para citas y con amigos para ponerse al día con el vino y la deliciosa comida turca con vistas al canal.

Habiendo comido turco auténtico en el corazón de Turquía y Estambul, Kilikya continúa brindando una excelente experiencia auténtica cada vez que visito. Al mudarme al área local el año pasado y ser un gran fanático de la comida turca, Kilikya inmediatamente despertó mi interés, y no me decepcionó. Con sus grandes porciones, opciones saludables, buen servicio, precios asequibles y, sobre todo, deliciosa comida, mis amigos y yo recibíamos constantemente entregas desde aquí o comíamos. Casi siempre vamos por las parrillas mixtas y mis favoritos personales son las alitas de pollo (siempre a la parrilla perfectamente) y las costillas. El restaurante en sí tiene un ambiente tranquilo y hermosas vistas del canal, está limpio, tiene un buen servicio y la comida siempre se presenta bien. El pan y las salsas de cortesía también son siempre deliciosos. ¡He recomendado Kilikya a casi todos los que conozco y seguiré viniendo a este restaurante tanto como pueda!

Tuve una de las mejores comidas que he tenido en mucho tiempo aquí. La parrilla mixta se cocinó a la perfección, y no hay posibilidad de dejarla con el estómago vacío. El servicio fue rápido y amable, y el lugar es limpio, cálido y amable. Volveremos aquí de nuevo pronto.

This is a very nice quiet restaurant overlooking Regents Canal. Food very tasty, service good. A bit pricey - it was £14.50 for a lamb shish at lunchtime - expensive for a turkish meal.

My colleague picked Kilikya for out team lunch. Off the beaten track overlooking Mile End Park and the canal. The service was really good, and the food was tasty, better than Efes.

Nice place, menu didn't have anything special or interesting about it. Food was tasty and portions were huge. Give it a try if you're close by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place.

Saw a friend went here on Facebook decided to give it a go, and glad i did. Tasty fresh food nice, atmosphere good service. I went my partner had prawns for starters very yummy plus you free dips and bread. Bread was warm the dips were lovely. We had a mixed grill for main wow it was a big portion for only £15. Meat was cooked perfect very tender and the flavours really came thru. Would highly recommend and will be returning. Drinks, starters and mains for 2 people under £50 👍🏽

Me and a friend kept running along the canal past this place and decided to try this for food. It is slightly of the track, but still overlooks the canal so is great to visit on a sunny day. Me and my friend shared the mezze platter and it was loads of food, we were stuffed! The prices are pretty cheap. Service was prompt and friendly, could not reccomend enough.

The food was lovely and fresh. The place is overlooking the canals and exudes a great atmosphere with seating and decor. Be warned though as mobile phone reception is pretty non existent in the restaurant. Usual menu for Turkish food and average price for the area. They do however provide complimentary Turkish tea and baklava which is nice and something you don't get at other Turkish restaurant in the area.

12 of us had breakfast 1st time trying kilikya it was fast service with friendly lady who served us very helpful it was friday afternoon quiet place very generous portion price is fair..

Really delicious Turkish on our doorstep with all the authentic choices you’d expect on the menu, plus some unexpected ones like pasta and burgers (not sure if they have a Turkish twist, as we haven’t been tempted to order yet). Friendly and attentive staff, the owner would come and check whether you liked the food when it first opened. They give you freshly baked bread and dips to start, with extra bread if you want. Great decor and nice to look out over the canal and park. The music is a little loud, as it was pretty empty in there on a Thursday night. The mixed grill is still great value for money, even after they’ve put the price up a little. Lovely to be able to try Turkish wine too, which was really tasty.

Being the closest restaurant to my place of work, I have visited Kilikya a number of times since the restaurant opened. Although there have been some teething pains in the beginning, they have largely been overcome and now Kilikya has become one of my favourite lunch venues during the week. Kilikya offers a great selection of traditional Turkish dishes grilled on a charcoal BBQ adding that irreplaceable smokey flavour. Adana kebab and mixed grill selection are delicious and are highly recommended as is the Turkish apple tea on offer.

We walked in from the Mile End park into this restaurant, and to say we were not disappointed is putting it mildly! We got the medley for two and every single item in there were to die for! The bread was great, and the staff was really helpful. On top of everything the place is really nice and clean with an amazing view on the park. We will definitely come back with a bigger appetite!
