Kikis Cafe in Milton Keynes

I’d probably give a 3.5 star review, but I’ve decided to round up to 4. The service and atmosphere in here is pleasant and good. Clean tables and pretty decor. Selection of food is also very good, although our first two choices were sold out so we had to settle for something else. Great that they offer beef sausage and beef bacon. Usually find that halal establishments skimp and do turkey bacon and chicken sausage which is a very sad alternative. All dishes presented very well. Most impressed by the loaded toast, probably the most enjoyable meal we ordered and best value for money. The cheesy split burgers and beef tagine were fine, but quite pricey for what they were. I feel that the meat actually could have benefitted from having a bit more fat content, since the meat in both was quite tough. Coffees and cakes were much more enjoyable, though still pricey. I’d say the caramel(?) milk cake was the highlight. Bubble tea was more ice than tea. Would have to ask for less ice next time. We probably would visit again but would be a bit more careful about what we order.

Edit: The owner approached me after my review (below), listened to my experience, apologised and payed our bill despite being happy to pay, but he wouldn't let me. Agreed to come back for a second experience, as I do think the food was great, just service needs a bit of tweeking. Changed to 4 stars as I appreciated him approaching me and listening to my feedback. Disappointed with the service and wait, popped in with my kids who just wanted a tart that was on the shelf. It took 15 minutes if not slightly longer because they wanted to put decorations on it, was happy to have had it from the shelf. There was only one other table being served and us. Not sure why it had to take so long. When it arrived the order was wrong. 2 stars because my kids actually liked the tart, but not happy with the service.

Went to Kikis for the first time today all the way from Worcestershire. It was such a pleasant experience. The dining and atmosphere was nice and cosy, food and drinks delicious and customer service exceptional. The guys working there were so kind and attentive. One even offered a hot chocolate on the house. Would definitely come back for this again!

What a girly lovely place 😌 Ideal for some selfie session too 🤭 Food is really tasty, good portions and best part - you don’t have to wait long. My only disappointment is that with new menu there was no French Toast Breakfast and I’ve heard that its delicious. Maybe next time 🤭

Not a great choice for breakfast

I have been to Kikis a couple of times and I absolutely love it, I would by far say it’s the cutest place I’ve been to! It’s clean and tidy! I definitely recommend the eggs Benedict if you choose to visit here!

Absolutely appalling customer service, not accommodating for people who have booked, where therefore they had no space for us and allowed walk ins to take our table leaving us having to go elsewhere.

Lovely little cafe. Sells Halaal food which was a big bonus as there are not many of those around Milton Keynes. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely visit there again.

Great food and nice relaxed atmosphere

An incredible experience from start to finish. Debbie who seemed like the manager and the young girl who was with her gave us the best service I could’ve asked for. They were understaffed but they still took time to make us feel special. It was my birthday and they brought out a selection of cakes and made sure we were looked after. Every single member of staff including the chef who btw was on her own still smiled and got on with it without any fuss. Highly recommend and for me the best cafe in Milton Keynes. Will be back for sure

Kiki’s breakfast and the warm cup of hot chocolate was just what I needed for the cold rainy day. Absolutely delicious. Also indulged in a banana milkshake and chocolate cake.

Kikis Cafe is a delightful spot, with good-quality food, a welcoming ambiance, and friendly staff. We enjoyed the Eggs Royale and Green Eggs we had for breakfast. The coffee was superb as well. With its impeccable cleanliness and charming decor, I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe.

Came to Kiki’s for the first time - had an iced coffee which was delicious and prepared by Keira. Also ordered a toastie that was delicious! The decor is lovely and plenty of outlets for people to work (like me). Will be coming back again. Thanks Kiera, Claire and Ramona.

Beautiful place with a nice atmosphere. Food was very nice and fresh.

Popped in yesterday at lunch time, was extremely busy. But this did not effect Kia's outstanding customer service. She was polite and friendly and calmly explained what was on offer. Coffee was tasty and gluten free cake was lovely. Be returning with the family.

A beautiful little cafe with the most delicious food menu. Bonus is that it's all halal! Kia and Claire are two absolutley amazing members of the team, made me feel very comfortable staying for a while to do some work on my laptop. :)

Food is tasty, I personally prefer the breakfast menu. Place is nice, good to have a grab and catch up with friend.

The servers Keira hira and debs are so lovely and attentive. There is such a lovely and friendly atmosphere that they have created in the cafe. The menu is quite small but all the dishes are so so deliciously cooked by the chef Ramona. I brought my coffee expert sister with me and she is a fan. We will be back! ❤️

I recently visited kiki cafe and came yesterday too and wanted to share my experience. While the food was amazing and delicious, I couldn't help but notice that the staff seemed to be treating the chef poorly. It was disheartening to see the chef being bossed around and visibly upset. I understand it was busy and the chef was in stress i didn’t mind my food coming late but it made me angry that staff was so horrible to the chef and made her upset. They was laughing about it as well… you need new staff asap. Hopefully, the café management can address this issue and support their talented chef better. Let's spread some positivity and appreciation for the hardworking kitchen staff! Lastly, staff asking me to give a review and writing their names down for what? if you can’t treat the chef right what makes u think i’ll give u a review with your names? I’ll give my review to the chef who worked so hard even during busy times.

Have been looking at visiting Kiki’s cafe for a while now and last week finally got round to visiting with my Daughter and Grandchildren. We were not disappointed at all! The food came out quickly and was delicious 😋 but it was the atmosphere and the service that made it. The lady that served us I think her name was Kia?! So friendly and chatty, nothing was too much and she was great with my Grandchildren ☺️ Couldn’t fault the food or outstanding service, I will definitely be visiting again! ☕️🥞

I love a decaf coffee and not many cafes are able to make one that tastes good. Kiki’s cafe is a game changer. They grind their beans fresh and the difference in taste is just incredible. It reminds me of the coffee in Portugal 💖

Dropped in mid walk for breakfast. Went for Green Eggs with my coffee, it was excellent, as was Debbie and the other staff. Definately worth a visit.

I come to kikis caft yesterday and Was served by a women called Kia who was very polite and Kiera who brought my drinks to the table, Very good service considering how steady it was, Amazing and will Be back soon x Recommend the chicken wrap but also wish you still done the chocolate French toast.

It was my first visit to Kiki's cafe and I really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere it offered. It was a weekday so the cafe wasn't too busy. The food was great - I had a French toast and a latte. Very warm service from the staff Kia, Ramona and Claire as they double checked with my dietary preferences. Great coffee and lovely place in general. I'll definitely visit there again

Today we decided to try brunch at Kikis as we'd only ever had a coffee before. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We ordered two coffees only one arrived. They then served someone else their coffee who had arrived and ordered well after us. The second coffee finally arrived but we had to ask for sugar to go with the first. After a half hour wait for our food only mine arrived which was Luke warm at best. It took at least another five minutes for my husband's to arrive and when it did it was cold and not edible. When raised with the staff they did offer to replace as well as refund but having waited so long for the food in the first place we simply didn't have the time so just had it refunded. The staff clearly didn't want to be in work today as the customer service was near on non existent and any service they did provide was extremely slow and unfriendly. When I raised the issues we'd experienced with who seemed to be in charge we were offered a very disingenuous apology. Sadly I do not think we will be returning when then are so many independent eateries in Milton Keynes that offer a warmer more proficient service. In a positive the coffee is very good.

First time ever visiting MK and saw this place by pure chance , what a experience! The ambience, the drinks made to perfection, the decor and dont get me started on the food. Top quality 100☆ review from me & mine. And to top it all off I want to say a massive thank you to Kia who made the whole thing through most enjoyable 'quick stop' ever. Friendly, helpful and seemed so very interested in how to make our visit the very best. Would visit MK again JUST to visit Kia & this immense coffee experience.
