Khyber kebabs in Oldham

I went inside and ordered food and paid them and went out to sit in my car because they told me food gonna take 25 minutes I went In after waiting time and there is nothing for me they forgot n no apology either so zero star on bad service

Absolutely horrible place to go. Staff have no clue how to deal with customers, First of all have to pick up everything from the counter, which we were willing to pick it up. One bold guy turn up really rude saying why you guys keep asking for stuff. What they expecting customer should cook eat and pay themselves.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff. Only asked staff for tissue, Response was absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Guy on till threatening customers without knowing the consequences. Think twice before speak with anyone. If customers walk in they pay for service.

I was impressed by how they’ve transformed a small basement into a bustling restaurant. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable, which was a plus. However, the atmosphere didn’t quite meet expectations. You need to go to the counter to order, but the space is so tight that it’s difficult to move around comfortably. If they had a larger, more open location, I’d be giving them five stars across the board.

Truly a Pakistani experience with the food to the atmosphere to the people. 10/10 would visit again

My friends and I come to Khyber Kebabs regularly, we travel for miles to get here. The food is always delicious and their service is second to none, can't fault them. We always come here for their speciality - Chapli Kebabs. 😋🤤 I would really recommend anyone to try them out, you won't be disappointed.

Desi currys with a peshawari touch that gives the flavour a unique kick. Ordered chicken karahi with naan and a chapal kebab. Was very nice and do recommend to try it.

Was recommended by a friend so decided to try the Chapli kebab, it was absolutely amazing and for the price I think its a steal. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu when I visit Oldham again. Highly recommended. Keep up the fantastic work guys.

The best chapli kebabs in the whole of greater manchester. The only thing that lets them down, is they can sometimes overcook them. Also their mix grill is probably average. Hence only 4 stars. Bonus - they’ve now started to do delivery!!

We had lamb karahi۔ chapli kebab and mix grill. Everything was very good 👍 Just mix grill wasn't nice and not worth it. I think they need to introduce some kind of sweets like kheer ۔zarda۔firny or something similar

Food is good the service is almost 90% of the time very crappy Take out order with not much busy because of poor management can take upto 30-40 mins of just kebabs And if you are eating in you are 4-6 ppl just expect your food will not be served together and if you need extra roti naan first you go on counter wait for them so busy just to listen to you and will serve you what you want after you finish eating On top will most probably not get everything served together

Lovely clean place. Authentic Pakistani food with the friendliest staff. Chicken & Lamb Karahi are to die for. Mixed grill is fantastic too, my only criticism was the lamb was a bit overdone for me but that's personal preference. Would definitely return.

Can't go wrong with this place everytime they gave the best chapli kababs ever They are based in oldham Maki the center of location Their seating area isn't really family friendly as it's like a takeaway setting but you could sit and eat there if you choose to. Other that that the staff are polite the price is reasonable and most importantly the taste is on point See you again soon 👏🏻

Lovely tasty food but bit small soo if it's full you even can't hear you partner on your own table apart from that nice place lovely people and tasty lamb karahi, must try there kebabs.

Probably wont go there again, food is average, chapal kabab had less beef more onions and maize. Im sure they dont care about this review and i dont expect them to improve their service. The dude at reception seemed to have no interest in his job and i have not seen poorer service ever in my life. I wont recommend this place to anyone. Im sorry but your beef to onion ratio is absolutely wrong, im from peshawar and chapli kabab is what i have been eating since i was born and anyone who is a pathan will testify to that, those who r not from peshawar may love your kabab but not those who have had the real kabab all their lifetime, i came to uk two years ago and im 40yrs old so i know, anyway no point in arguing, Also im not complaining that i paid 80£ and its alot, no 80£ is reasonable and i know its for what we ate, my point is that if a customer is paying a big amount as courtesy u should also respect him and serve them tea, we didnt come only for tea we ate we paid a big amount and if tea was also offered it would have been better, and im not asking for free tea obviously we would have paid for that, this was point, which you misunderstood. Anyways as i mentioned i knew there wont be any improvement to this place, which is evident from your reply that you have justified all the actions that there was no mistake and everything was amazing.

I been here a couple of times, but last time, there was too much salt in karahi, but i ignored it, but this time i really disappointed because Karachi tasted rabish and served was worst we ask for 2 Naan they give us 1 and when I ask the guy for another naan I wait after for 10mint when I ask again they forget so i wait for more 10mint and the food gone cold and we need to ask for everything tissue chatni salad water again and again. I never saw serves more worst then this. I was a regular customer, but now I am never coming here again

The chef needs more training or should be replaced. I convinced my friends to try the Oldham kebab, but they were disappointed with its taste. As a result, our trip was completely ruined. Worst ever kebab taste Heard from friends for having good chapli kebab that's why visited. Till now only "Kabul darbar Birmingham" is best ever.

We tried the Kebabs and Lamb kharahi. The kebabs are okay, nothing to write home about but better than most places as this had some semblance with how chapli kebabs should taste. A bit more spice would be welcomed, 6.5/10. Lamb kharahi was tender and tasty, solid 7.5/10. Service can definitely be improved. Staff stare at you rather than welcome and chat with u regarding your order. they forgot we ordered lamb kharahi and had to be reminded, Luckly the chef did not forget. Overall cleanliness was passable at the dinning area but the restrooms were awful. Will go again and recommend. Overall 7/10

Absolutely loved the delicious and aromatic food! Amazing value for money with 3 Peshawari kebabs and 1 large naan for around £10. The only drawback is the seating; it's a bit dingy being in the basement. Nevertheless, I would definitely visit again for the tasty experience!

Visited this place after seeing a YouTube review who rated it very high. I guess if you walk in with expensive camera kit they’d treat you differently. Poor was basic. Not as tasty and flavoursome as claimed on video. But what was more disappointing was the customer service or lack of it. No smile. No greeting. No recommendations or friendliness. Which I found strange. Travelled here specifically but regretted it later. Many better establishments available.

Got chappli keebab, lamb karahi, chicken khari , chick pea curry and naans. Chappli keebab was delicious but for me the chicken karahi, naan and chick pea were simply amazing. Never tasted chicken khrahi like it anywhere beautiful flavours , not spicy just very flavour went so well with the naans. Food took 30 minutes but worth the wait. Customer service brilliant aswell. Would definitely recommend this place for the curry and Chappli keebab 10/10

The taste and quality is superb. The overall quantity was enough too. 1 kg karahi can surely fill 3-4 person with their special khyber naan. Highly recommended.

Khyber Kabab is one of my favourite places I mostly go. Their Kababs and foods are really good and amazing. I will recommend everyone to visit one time, because you gonna be addicted of their amazing taste. I am very satisfied!
