Khans Tandoori in Gateshead

Tandoori chicken overcooked n very dry, didn't enjoy it at all, didn't like the 'chips' more like undercooked roast potatoes, my partners chicken tikka masala was delicious although he said his rice was cold, price was ok I suppose on just eat , although having tasted it not very good price, sorry!

Absolute nightmare to deal with,don't understand English, quote 30 mins for delivery, take 90,then f---k up the order ,can't recommend, gk elsewhere

Tried Khans for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised after reading reviews the food was very good especially the garlic and coriander Nan the chicken tikka jalfrezi was great but a little hot and the prawn starter was lovely as well definitely worth trying. I will be back but I’ll ask them to put a little less chilli.

One of the staff tried to get two 9 year old girls into his car last week and had been cautioned by the police. Avoid these peados at all costs

Ordered food for delivery. Was told there was no lamb so had to pick something else. Waited over an hour with no delivery. Rang the shop and had a “minor” disagreement with the chef over how long it had been. Food hadn’t even left the shop as they were waiting for a driver. Food arrived nearly an hour and a half after ordering and admittedly, it was very good. The vindaloo was mad hot and the way I like it. Pity about the customer experience.

I took egg fried rice from here it was hot🔥and delicious😋 will visit once again for sure 💯💯

We order all the way from Stanley, because a little longer wait is utterly worth it. We've tried others and are usually disappointed. Khan's is our Indian Takeaway of choice.

Worse takeaway I have ever had and that’s being kind.

The shop itself is absolutely filthy. The sockets and phone were covered in mud. Obviously people not keeping their hands clean.

Got a six course special, tasted amazing. Best curry house in the local area by far.

Ordered for the first time. Food was average. Curry a bit watery and lacked the taste of others in the area. Great service for delivery though. Very quick but over £15 for a madras curry and a rice.

Nearly £4 for a potatoes worth of undercooked chips and watery awful sauce.. you have one job and it's to cook food, at least do it properly. Disgraceful

Food tasted OK, but next day made me produce enough wind to inflate a hot air balloon. They forgot my poppadom too. The special offers are a good price, but I won't be returning.

Just had another takeaway from khans All I can say is the food is second to none in the area. Price is fair as well Will be going back as it’s lush.

Just ordered our frst takeaway from Khans Tandoori in sunniside. We all thoroughly enjoyed it even our teenaged boys massively approved. Will definitely order again

Mixed experiences here. Really nice food but sometimes you have to wait 2-3 hours and you only get your food if you keep ringing up. Too successful for their own good!

Nice food but don't bother with delivery as their idea of up to 1 hour is 2 hours later. 😔

disgusting the second time ordering and an hour late again!!!. showing on just eat as delivered again!!!!. me and my family are now sooo hungry however can not order another takeaway as the money has been taken
