What can i say!! Possibly the best curry house in not only London but all of UK. I have soent years exploring the finest curry houses of the UK and nothing compares to this curry house. Best staff all super friendly and fun! Not only that but amazing food

Arranged a group booking for 40 or so people the other week, on recommendation from others. Did not disappoint! Qasim and the team made every effort to make the night a success, advise us with a special menu, make us feel welcome with great hospitality. Food was delish and the atmosphere was great. Will be back for takeaways and group dining again!

Claims to serve Punjab and South Indian but it doesn't, what it does serve is strange, admittedly unique, often smokey tasting food that resembles nothing from south Asian cuisine or anywhere else for that matter. I shall never eat their food again. I have Punjabi, Pakistani and Bangladeshi neighbours who often feed me, I am so blessed, so I am extremely aware of what authentic South Eastern Asian food tastes like and it tastes fantastic, their version is an insult to South Eastern Asian cuisine. You have been warned.

Food was horrible and couldn’t even get a taste from it when asked for bill was told couldn’t pay by card had to go around the corner to get cash you can see there doing tax fraud won’t be coming hear again

I came in to have food Friday and the food tasted mouldy and horrible when complained I was told the food was all fresh but there was no way the chicken was fresh stay clear cause I’ve been I’ll all day

I have been buying food from Khans for many years and they never fail to disappoint. The food is tasty and consistent, and the staff are friendly and reliable. I usually get a takeaway but I did also take my parents to the restaurant a few weeks back, and they loved it too. Thank you Khans. We think you’re great.

I was asked to pay cash and go to the cash point around the corner, the bill was £17 more expensive than what I ordered. I gave the written bill to one of my children to check later, and the owner took it back from his hand on the way out without me noticing. Do not trust that place.

So we ordered the first time, very excited to try a curry house which is quite close to us. HOWEVER, upon delivery an elderly deliver man who was dressed in a uniform gave me the food after he was banging the bags of food about and said to me”we aren’t delivering here again, you are lucky you got the order” you can Imagine my shock that I didn’t even get a “hello”. I would understand if we only ordered a curry but after £58 later - they took the order and decided to give delivery with attitude. He then walked away. The food was ok but can honestly say I am still speechless and it’s hard to eat Aloo Gobi when there was obviously none short of it from this delivery man! AVOID, IF NOT FOR THE FOOD BUT THE ATTITUDE THAT COMES WITH IT SINCE WE WEREN'T GIVEN THE CHOICE

Without doubt the best cuzza in Brixton and beyond. BYOB and order tandoori mixed grill and green chilli masala. Flawless

Busy restaurant on Saturday night, but an early booking secured our table at the appointed time. For my taste food was very under spiced, especially jallfreizi mains. Prawn purri starter good but my wife’s fish kebab disappointing as not really a kebab. Poppadoms and chutneys very average. No problem with cash payment, and byo drinks from next door, well chilled Cobra. An ok experience hence 3 from 5.

The papadums have plummeted in price but they now charge a lot for the (very basic with no pickle) chutney tray so you end up by paying more, not less. Food is still very good but cash only, something that should be stated clearly beforehand rather than when paying the bill. Still BYOB which helps but we really appreciate a proper chutney tray, especially at the price they charge, so Khans is now off our list.

Large takeaway order for over 30 people and food was fresh and beautifully cooked. Literally everyone loved it - highly recommended

Khan’s has been a Brixton institution for decades. I ate there recently for the first time in years and was blown away by the quality of the food. Don’t let the plain interior fool you - this is top class Indian cuisine. Every dish was perfection and at £20 a head a fraction of the price of more renowned Indian restaurants. And you can bring your own wine or beer. What more could you want?

Had dinner at the restaurant last week. Service was in general reasonably good and friendly. We all like Indian type food. The meat dishes were tender but we detected a very similar base sauce across both the meat and vegetable dishes. We found this disappointing. Indian breads were also a somewhat doughy. If you like fairly low intensity Indian meals this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable and the BYO is a winner. So a pleasant place to quaff so bottle of your own wine I guess.
