Not even going to discuss the food. This restaurant is filthy. The toilets are an absolute disgrace! Any functioning bins ( one bin has a do not use sign on it) are littered with food debris surrounding them. No visible management & hugely uninterested/ unmotivated/ uninspired staff. Avoid this KFC like the plague. Healthy & Safety need to visit this restaurant & place hazardous environment tape around it. Truly shocking!

Absolutely shocking. If I could post -stars I would have..! Freezing cold in there. Toilets absolutely stank. No receipts in machines.Left over food and drinks just piled up. Waited 20 mins for a Zinger meal. Had to ask her to bag my ‘eat in’ meal up as it was so cold. Got to car and the meal was just a disgrace. Took it back in, no apology. Changed it fairly quickly tbf. Back in car and it was just as bad. Never again going to a KFC..!!🤬😡

I waited 45 minutes for him to make an order and I was the 2nd customer in the store, he tells me that I have to wait 17 minutes for him to cook, I don't know what

Prob one o the worst KFC’s av been at and surprise surprise items missing from my order and cold wings in sons order it’s a joke !!!!!!!

Placed and paid for an order through the app, drove up to the drive through window and told them my order number and got told to go to the next window, got there and they wanted me to pay again. I told them I've already paid through the app so they give me my drink and tell me to park up. After 20 minutes of waiting my order comes over and is pretty much thrown through the car window. I get home and it's dripping with oil, the chips aren't seasoned and the chicken has no seasoning or flavour to it either. There's no secret recipe to this chicken as it only has a batter on it with no pepper or anything. I don't know if KFC have changed their recipe but please change it back to what it was and give the chicken some flavour!

This KFC branch is honestly the worst. I personally work for KFC, and having visited this branch several times, the staff seriously need to be re-trained on Drive Thru in particular. I asked for a zinger salad box, which took the server far too long to put through, and I mentioned that I would like to claim my free Fillet burger on my app, which I would obviously show them my code to scan through at the window. I got to the window and the girl scanned my app so I could claim my staff discount, whilst claiming my burger. However, she said that it wouldn’t allow me to claim both, which is wrong as it is not an offer, it is a free item which WILL go through with a staff discount. She then however stated she would need to put it through as 2 separate transactions, however I believe that I have now paid full price for my salad box and drink, though I have no receipt in the bag to show this. The server was inexperienced and needs re-training, along with many other drive thru cashier at this Heartlands branch. My salad box also constrained very little tomatoes and corn, the wrong lettuce (iceberg) was used, I was given no napkins (as per usual) and I had to ASK for a fork. These are all BASIC things that should come in the bag from the start! I understand that she may have been new, but this is the sort of unhelpful service that customers are constantly experiencing from this branch. Staff NEED to be re-trained. The staff are always rushing you whilst placing your order, they mumble on the headset, and fail to put napkins, cutlery etc in bags, and it’s clear that many staff cannot seem to find basic items on the till. Re-train your staff in this branch, PLEASE. Ask them to greet their customers and smile before saying ‘That’ll be x amount of pounds’. There is ZERO server>customer interaction at this branch. As someone who works in a different branch, I know how customers should be greeted, the way anyone would like to be greeted. Just simply ask your staff what kind of service they’d like to receive if they were a customer themselves. It’s down to common sense. I hope these tips, and my comment will be made clear to the staff at Heartlands KFC. This is honest constructive criticism, which is the only way that can help branches to improve! I recently bought some wings at KFC, and they were delicious and freshly made. The restaurant had clean restrooms, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience!

I got my go to order delivered to the house around 8pm fast forward to around 5am and I have been very unwell I’ve only had food poisoning once before and it feels like I have it again!

Food was ok, service was ok but at the drive thru we were left sitting for around 10 mins as the headset stopped working but not enough staff in to allow someone to come and alert anyone. Took a phone call to the store to figure it out. Won't stop me going back though

The single worst KFC ive ever had. Didn't have enough wings for the wing bucket, gravy was packed improperly, opened in the bag while driving back to my hotel and soaked eveything. When i took the bag out the seat it had soaked the seat, the.bag broke and it overed me im gravy.

staff need retrained on drive thru or something. the woman taking orders on speaker was so rude shouting hello at us. we then got to the window and the order was wrong, we explained what we needed added to the order because the woman missed it out and the guy on window looked at us like he was lost and then said “do you want that added on?” obviously… then we were parked up. we were polite to the guy who brought the food out but he never replied and looked like i had just punched him.

Order a tower meal and a tower burger 1 burger had no lettuce, sauce on one side looked like it missed the bun. 2nd burger no lid, no hash brown, cold chips. Just a poor unacceptable service and product.

Went there at lunchtime but wasn't open anyone know why. There was no signage to say why

ordered a meal for my family before 7 oclock and it said it would come just before 8 oclock, notification came through delaying it by 15-20 and then when the time came it got delayed further to 9 oclock, by that time everyone was starving and frustrated. it’s not like we live far away like 5 mins and still managed to be this late. never going to get a delivery every again, poor service and food was mediocre.

We had 10 piece bucket. All drumsticks which looked and tasted as if they had been lying on shelf for ages. Chips and chicken overcooked. !! Huge disappointment definitely won’t be back to this outlet

Probs the worst kfc I’ve been to, been maybe 10 times and out they 10 times I’ve had to wait 8 of them outside for my food for over 20 minutes each time! Never again will I go here. So if you’re in a rush don’t bother coming here.

Was ok had better to be honest. Sat in, was clean enough and very quiet but then again it was past tea time on a Friday and it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

KFC always the first choice for a fast food fix.

KFC is consistent with their food and that's why we aren't hesitant when in an unfamiliar area, we see a familiar place. Unfortunately KFC is generally run by teenagers, very few of whom have an attention span or bother to listen to the customer. Consequently, I received a freshly prepared double zinger stacker meal. Unfortunately that wasn't the food I ordered. As I was also the only customer in the restaurant at the time they don't even get the benefit of the possible mix-up. It was just wrong. The server was very polite, and I have no idea what happened behind the scenes. I usually only have this experience at the drive through, so 'congratulations' on taking this to the next level.

Burned meat, burned, soggy, dirty chips. Missing things from menu. This pleace need proper kitchen clean, oil change, otherwise recomend food inspection to come and shut it down!

If you want a glimpse into how the future looks then visit KFC in Whitburn. Never seen a more incompetent bunch of people in my life. These millennials have zero personal skills so why on earth would you put them in a customer facing role? The girl that served me today literally couldn't speak. Seriously, she literally couldn't say anything. I'd love to be a fly in the wall at the interview process to hire these folk. How on earth any manager or recruiter could look at any of these clowns working here and say "Yep, you're exactly what we need" is beyond me. We're absolutely doomed once these millennial idiots work their way into positions of power and influence. I'm just glad I'll either be too old to care or dead by the time it happens.

Always lovely place to eat staff always friendly

First time I went to go here drove in ordered zinger meal and zinger on its own to then realize I was in Starbucks or Costa coffee drive thru felt a right Pratt. after getting to drive thru get used to take a space in car park to wait for meal as I have been 4 or 5 times and everything had to take a space in car park

It's a fast food restaurant. I can't expect too much. Staff are friendly enough on drive-through. Food is warm, the order isn't always accurate, so definitely check before you drive off.

Pretty poor. Blue light discount card wouldn't be accepted unless it was in the KFC app, but the KFC app wasnt working (and wasn't working the previous time we went either). No discount given, despite having the physical card. Several problems with the order, 1 item wasn't available but we weren't told when we ordered. 1 of the sides just didn't come, had to go back and ask. None of the chips with the meal came, had to go back and ask. Not looking very clean either.

Zinger ricebox was missing the chicken and supercharge sauce were missing. The chicken did not taste like kfc chicken. I would avoid this place

Wrap was uninspiring and over priced. Although part menu is displayed on the walls of the drive through, it is unclear. No menu at order point. Service was great at pick up point. Counter staff was very friendly.

This is one of the worst kfc that I have ever been too, I highly doubt if this is even kfc taste nothing like the original recipe.

Stopped on the way back from Edinburgh Airport, asked the chicken wing deal and was told I could have it as they had enough wings in stock, but not enough to do me the deal?? The young lad who served me was really polite and friendly and the food was freshly cooked, got and crispy as it should be. No complaints apart from not being able to have the 20 hot wings deal.👍

Disappointed, very loud and staff very ignorant trying to eat a meal and the cleaner was around our table 6times trying to clean under the table while we were eating and banging on her cleaning equipment. She did not speak a word to customers.

Came to the heartland store to get a milkey bar krushem tonight, something was wrong (the cashier never went into any detail, just said that I can’t have the krushem). I paid on the order screen. If things aren’t available maybe changing things to “out of stock” or “unavailable” so customers aren’t paying for something and then finding out at the collection desk that these aren’t available. I was in this store a few months back and this happened the last time also, the last time I wasn’t allowed a refund and was made to take a fruit shoot (not even to the same monetary value). Is this the way this company makes money? Profiting from customer losses?. If this has happened to myself, I wonder how many other customers this has scammed.

So polite. Think the man's name was William? He was very kind when taking my order didn't Interrupt me when I was order . Like other places when u say one item they repeatedly say anything else. But this man waited. Then when I drove the the correct window (again other people say drive to the next window and u sit like a fool because they should say the last window or even have a sign on the first window... Anyway yes when I drove round he was polite asked me caringly if I could grab a space and brought my food and all the right items and sauces I asked for ... The service here is AWESOME. We have been here twice now. It is a very new KFC and they have been doing a great job! We had some issues both times we came but they are so awesome and quick to help we always ended with what we needed. I am also impressed with quality. The chicken pieces are nearly always fresh and juicy and their service is speedy. Much better choice than Falkirk branch. We ate in and service is great place is clean and tasty as alway. Wish they would fix the small swimming pool in the parking lot.

Got the food wrong but was nice enough

Stopped here for a late dinner whilst travelling and can honestly say it is the best kfc, if not fast food restaurant, I’ve ever been in. Staff were beyond polite and helpful, an absolute credit to their profession, and our food was ready within 5 minutes, if even that. The place was spotless and we will 200% stop here again on our next passing.

Customer Service training is clearly something this store don't get.

Ordered food and didnt receive it called kfc and they told me nothing they can do the charged me was ordered through just eat driver took food and said it was delivred 3 mins later not possible will not be ordering from just eat again as they have stole my money the kfc has said they cant do anything so they also took my money and there is no one that can deal with it on shift poor service avoid them as it's not a good service from either

First time visit, and pleasantly surprised. Very quiet so quick service, spotlessly clean and staff all friendly and welcoming.
