Janhvi service was excellent, asked if I needed help , told me to sit on table and she will bring takeaway order over to me, best kfc service at Stanway I have ever experienced

Quite possibly the very worst food around. Ordered Trilogy meal. Well i dont want it 3 times. The burger was evil, old dried out tiny chicken portion, brown lettuce abd stale bun. The chips cold and soggy, popcorn chicken was soggy and no pop, the fillet was cold and dried out. If i hadnt driven home id have thrown it back at them. Place needs closing down steer clear

I had one of the best drive-thru experiences at KFC recently, all thanks to the incredible staff—Jamie, Joseph, and Raman. From start to finish, the service was fast, friendly, and professional. Jamie greeted me with a warm and cheerful attitude, Joseph was so polite and made sure my order was perfect, and Raman handed it over with a big smile and genuine courtesy. Everything was hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. It’s rare to see such great teamwork and attention to detail at a drive-thru, and these three absolutely nailed it. Service is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets could be cleaner however it was a peak time during the school holidays. First time I’ve seen a kids menu not come with chips as default. You have to exchange the auto side dish (beans) for chips. Surely chicken and chips is the meal itself not a side? We gave the kids the chips from our meals as didn’t want rest to go cold. Would visit again as kids enjoyed.

I ordered at the self order screen and scanned the KFC app to bring up all the special offers. I ordered the 6 piece bucket and the food was ready within 2 minutes! By chance it had my favorite pieces as well, drums and thighs. The small lady who served me was very polite and friendly. I use the Stanway KFC regularly and always happy with the food, service and free parking.

Messed my takeaway order up a few times only to be discovered when I get home. You can get in via a second entrance so a bit easier than most of the area

Went through the drive thru. Food was nice but was missing part of my order. Ordered the double dipping bucket and only got 7 mini fillets rather than the advertised 10.

The two of us dined-in on a Tuesday evening, it took 20 minutes for our food to arrive. My Zinger burger had a very dry bun, slightly over cooked hash brown and even more dry chicken on barely any lettuce. Having waited that long you can imagine it's a disappointment. At least the chips were hot, as was the gravy. The bins were full, the staff looked stressed and generally it wasn't a nice experience for me or by the looks of it, them. This is the second time we've tried to eat here and had a similar experience the time before, but waited even longer.

Took 1 hour and 20 minutes and my food was completely cold.

The drive through isn’t exactly a drive through , it’s a drive through and park , every time I come here I have to park up and wait for my chow . Come on folks , gotta pump up the speed a little …

I we through the drive-through to get a quick lunch. Their service was quick and the staff were friendly. The area around the drive-through was clean and well looked after. I got my food after a short wait. (Unfortunately, I had to park up and go inside as they got my order wrong with one missing item. Something I have experienced here before) Oce inside, the staff were very helpful and apologised for the mistake. I did not have to wait long and got back on the road quickly. The food was of good quality and precisely as I expected it; great. I will return in the future.

I placed an order for three meals which included fries, chicken wings, chicken popcorn, and watermelon juice. Unfortunately, the food was not up to the standard expected from KFC. The chicken wings and fries were not freshly cooked; both tasted rubbery and old. The chicken popcorn lacked flavor, and the fries were unpleasantly chewy. It was clear the items had been prepared hours in advance and were not fresh when delivered. I also found the food to be poorly cooked, with a lack of taste, which made it quite disappointing. Additionally, the service was subpar. The order was delivered very quickly, which raises concerns about the freshness of the food. There was no tissue or straw provided with the meal, and I noticed a lack of general cleanliness on the counter, which affected the overall experience. Can get very busy, especially drive-through. Has several disabled spaces and a Radar Key operated disabled loo. Push button main doors do not often work, which can be really inconvenient! Edit. I've been again tonight, and the automatic door is still not working. It's a heavy door and difficult to open from a wheelchair. Knocking stars off until they fix this problem. 19-02-25 Edit. The automatic door still isn't working.

First time using this KFC. Ordering through the intercom was interesting . To be honest it wasn't too bad. The food was decent enough & the guy that delivered it to our car was polite. Didn't have to wait too long but the place just seemed a little disorganised & chaotic. Could do better I guess.

Was yummy but it was nearly cold

We went to the KFC drive through thinking we would get a quick meal to head home with. We waiting 40 minutes for the food (after hounding and asking for a refund numerous times) for them to bring our food in a bag with 3 other orders numbers written and scribbled out on it with no drinks, we were expecting 4 drinks with our meals so they went off to get our drinks. We got home, the food was freezing cold and the cokes tasted of water. The food was greasy and the chicken was just disgusting. £40 odd down, 40 minute wait and then really rubbish food. There were so many cars parked up that there were no more spaces in the car parked and people were parking anywhere, even blocking the exit preventing anyone leaving the car parking due to the backup of orders they could not keep up with. So disappointing - I will never eat at this restaurant again. The food was that bad, it’s put me off going to any other kfc again! Avoid!!

Drive through service was the worst I have ever experienced, after a 40min wait my lukewarm chicken arrived but no fries or drink so had to wait in the cold rain at the service window to complain and collect the rest of my order, I have had bad service here quite a few times before but it is definitely getting progressively worse so I will not be going back.

Every time we bought take away food from them half the order was missing. Complete incompetence all the way up to the management. Avoid at all costs. Edit: Forgot to mention that nobody actually answers the phone if you actually want to contact them

Not bad as some the reviews suggest, Quite Expensive, But the portions were Bigger, Than braintree kfc. So Made sense. Speed was not a problem On the drive through. And the Twister Wrap was cooked to perfection,

Cold, undercooked, soggy chips, pink chicken. Threw it away and had beans on toast. No point in complaining Just Eat dont do anything about ut anyway.

Our order was placed and accepted at 4.33pm, to be delivered around 5.20pm. our food was not being prepared until 5.50pm. food arrived 6.25pm, if you are that busy, update your estimated delivery times. The chips cold and soggy, chicken cold. awful food and awful service. I will never use KFC again and just eat. Do yourself a favour. Don't order delivery from Stane Park KFC.

Drive thru was easy to get to and waited about 10 minutes for food ordered on app, but at least I knew food was cooked fresh.

As a family, we really enjoy KFC and Stanway is our nearest restaurant. The service is so slow (every time). We looked forward to going after the recent refurbishment, but were left disappointed and will not be returning. We were greeted with overflowing bins (which I told staff about twice) and dirty tables and floors. If it were busy I could understand it, but it wasn't. The new machines work fine but table service is no longer offered - we waited 15 minutes for two meals. Avoid if you can and go to the one in Ardleigh, 100x better

No drinks delivered. I know was terible traffic but wrong or missed delivery is unacceptable

Due to having had a stressful & difficult time lately, my husband decided to treat me to a KFC. I’ve not had one for over two years. I was so looking forward to it as well. How disappointing it was! This is the first time I’ve used Stanway drive thru. The x3 pieces of chicken breast & chips I ordered were atrocious! The chicken & skin was awful, dried out & burnt. The chips, minimal & dry. My husband’s chicken burger was nothing special either. Never again!

once again 10 minutes after I ordered, the currier is at the restaurant to then sit and watch the delivery time go up and up and up . when it finally arrives it's Luke warm at best . £24.99 of kfc straight in the bin . will definitely be try uber eats or some other firm from now on

I've been sick/had food poisoning BOTH times I've eaten from here (probably 6-9 months apart). Not a coincidence and I've heard others have had the same issue. You really need to sort out your food hygiene issues. I have also reported to the food standards agency.

The food was not here 2.5 hours after I ordered it so I drove to the restaurant and the restaurant couldn't find the order. I was trying to find a complaints number which I couldn't in the restaurant. then the food turned up at my house about 2 3/4 hours late and it was cold I'm not happy and I want a refund as this is poor service. at the same time I had a mc donalds delivery that was 1.5 hours late so I'm fuming that was also cold and I would like that refunded to as this is not exceptable

My friend and I are currently battling through chronic food poisoning. The stomach ache I’ve had the past few days has been unbearable. Not to mention we waited 20-30 minutes in the bay for the food, you’d think it would have at least been cooked! Avoid at all cost. Absolutely atrocious.

We were served by a guy named Mandeep. He is literally the best. We had the most amazing service because of him today. The food was super fresh and was given to us within minutes. He literally is most sweetest person and definitely deserves a raise!

Service is so slow. Never go here if you're in a rush! I waited between 15 and 20 minutes for my drive through order, it's like this everytime at this KFC. They're clearly doing something wrong compared to every other fast food place. I ordered an 8 piece boneless feast but more fool me for not fully checking my order and trusting them to get it right after taking so long as I got home to find no popcorn chicken was included. My trilogy box meal was missing mini fillets

When the food EVENTUALLY arrived after it kept being pushed back over an hour it was absolutely stone cold. Really disappointing as usually KFC is good.
