Food was cold chips where hard

Cold, undercooked, soggy chips, pink chicken. Threw it away and had beans on toast. No point in complaining Just Eat dont do anything about ut anyway.

orders a family bucket didn't get any fries that's 6 portions not received we didn't get the gravy and we had 12 prices of chicken instead of 14 clearly someone is not focusing when carry out orders emailed just eat waiting on response but don't have High hopes after reading customer reviews

For what you pay and what you get it’s really expensive. Chicken pieces really small.

Placed an order this afternoon. when I placed our order, delivery time was estimated at around 35 mins. Our order was placed and accepted at 4.33pm, to be delivered around 5.20pm. our food was not being prepared until 5.50pm. food arrived 6.25pm, if you are that busy, update your estimated delivery times. The chips cold and soggy, chicken cold. awful food and awful service. I will never use KFC again and just eat. Do yourself a favour. Don't order delivery from Stane Park KFC.

Drive thru was easy to get to and waited about 10 minutes for food ordered on app, but at least I knew food was cooked fresh.

As a family, we really enjoy KFC and Stanway is our nearest restaurant. The service is so slow (every time). We looked forward to going after the recent refurbishment, but were left disappointed and will not be returning. We were greeted with overflowing bins (which I told staff about twice) and dirty tables and floors. If it were busy I could understand it, but it wasn't. The new machines work fine but table service is no longer offered - we waited 15 minutes for two meals. Avoid if you can and go to the one in Ardleigh, 100x better

No drinks delivered. I know was terible traffic but wrong or missed delivery is unacceptable

Due to having had a stressful & difficult time lately, my husband decided to treat me to a KFC. I’ve not had one for over two years. I was so looking forward to it as well. How disappointing it was! This is the first time I’ve used Stanway drive thru. The x3 pieces of chicken breast & chips I ordered were atrocious! The chicken & skin was awful, dried out & burnt. The chips, minimal & dry. My husband’s chicken burger was nothing special either. Never again!

once again 10 minutes after I ordered, the currier is at the restaurant to then sit and watch the delivery time go up and up and up . when it finally arrives it's Luke warm at best . £24.99 of kfc straight in the bin . will definitely be try uber eats or some other firm from now on

I've been sick/had food poisoning BOTH times I've eaten from here (probably 6-9 months apart). Not a coincidence and I've heard others have had the same issue. You really need to sort out your food hygiene issues. I have also reported to the food standards agency.

Second order in the last month with missing items and damaged food. Not happy at all.

The food was not here 2.5 hours after I ordered it so I drove to the restaurant and the restaurant couldn't find the order. I was trying to find a complaints number which I couldn't in the restaurant. then the food turned up at my house about 2 3/4 hours late and it was cold I'm not happy and I want a refund as this is poor service. at the same time I had a mc donalds delivery that was 1.5 hours late so I'm fuming that was also cold and I would like that refunded to as this is not exceptable

My friend and I are currently battling through chronic food poisoning. The stomach ache I’ve had the past few days has been unbearable. Not to mention we waited 20-30 minutes in the bay for the food, you’d think it would have at least been cooked! Avoid at all cost. Absolutely atrocious.

I recently visited KFC, and I was thoroughly impressed! The fried chicken was hot, crispy, and full flavour and were fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly we were served by Mandeep and he made our experience even better. The restaurant was clean and inviting, which added to the overall enjoyment. We were served by a guy named Mandeep. He is literally the best. We had the most amazing service because of him today. The food was super fresh and was given to us within minutes. He literally is most sweetest person and definitely deserves a raise!

Service is so slow. Never go here if you're in a rush! I waited between 15 and 20 minutes for my drive through order, it's like this everytime at this KFC. They're clearly doing something wrong compared to every other fast food place. I ordered an 8 piece boneless feast but more fool me for not fully checking my order and trusting them to get it right after taking so long as I got home to find no popcorn chicken was included. Absolutely useless!

Can get very busy, especially drive-through. Has several disabled spaces and a Radar Key operated disabled loo. Push button main doors do not often work, which can be really inconvenient! Edit. I've been again tonight, and the automatic door is still not working. It's a heavy door and difficult to open from a wheelchair. Knocking stars off until they fix this problem.

My trilogy box meal was missing mini fillets

When the food EVENTUALLY arrived after it kept being pushed back over an hour it was absolutely stone cold. Really disappointing as usually KFC is good.

The time of delivery kept moving I

Tried to order 3 times at the counter was told couldn't but then see 3 other people get served rude !

Yet AGAIN an item missing, I even put a note on the order saying please check order as we have had missing and wrong orders recently and still can't get it right!!

The service was dreadful. If you have cash and waiting at the front desk it takes them a long time to mention 'you have to order at the order point'. I was waiting for 20 minutes before being told. Then once ordered you had to wait and Eternity for the food, and it wasn't busy at all. If the food was amazing it wouldn't be so bad, but it wasn't that good chips cold and half-cooked.

The order delivered was short of a meal and drink. To avoid waiting over an hour to investigate I had to go and pick up the missing items which rather defeated the point of having it delivered

For the second week in a row, I have found a really really good KFC. Congratulations to the staff at this restaurant who really go the whole way to make you feel welcome and serve superb chicken.

Kfc, absolutely shocking customer service. I am disabled and I can not read and the people behind the til refused to accommodate me and help me order. Instead they sent to a machine that I had no no idea how to use, so I ended up with the wrong food, was charged of 35 pounds. Just let me order my food at the till. I will not be back. That clown Ronald macdonald does it better

Slow drive though, no reflection on staff as apologised, for this it’s more of the business model. The chicken burger was dry uninspiring, expensive, would not buy again. Also they don’t take cash, no I’m not old fashioned, cash is still boss if you don’t use it you loose it peeps, freedom from corporate and Big brother control is real, so keep cash alive where possible.

Quite possibly the very worst food around. Ordered Trilogy meal. Well i dont want it 3 times. The burger was evil, old dried out tiny chicken portion, brown lettuce abd stale bun. The chips cold and soggy, popcorn chicken was soggy and no pop, the fillet was cold and dried out. If i hadnt driven home id have thrown it back at them. Place needs closing down steer clear

Order screens were faulty, so had to then try and re order at the counter, none of the app benefits worked so had to pay more. Mens toilet was blocked with a floater which sums up the standards. I have always loved KFC, this made me regret not getting a chicken select meal from McDonald’s. Oh and the cleanliness was awful in the restaurant area

Best fast food chain ever existed in Colchester. Excellent and exceptional quality customer service. I love ❤️ the staff courtesy. I will recommend this place for a family and friends outing spot.

I got the Wrap meal and it was so good. Only issue is that you can't edit your meals at the kiosk.

Only ever used drive through. Not much of a 'stop-and-eat' location! Food is always fine, but check your order is correct before you leave..!

Have to say that this visit to KFC was made so much more enjoyable by the presence of Michelle. Not sure what her job role is officially but she was interacting with everyone. Bringing food to the tables. Checking everything was OK. Bringing extras etc. Just like you'd get in a restaurant not a fast food outlet. What a treat, well done Michelle!!

I honestly had not been to a KFC for about 5 years as my last experience was tasteless chicken and very thin limp chips. Boy has it changed and I thoroughly enjoyed my food, especially the thicker chips, well done KFC, will definitely visit again soon.

We ordered at around about 18:45 and waited well over nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive so we needed to drive to go get it me and my father are diabetic as well so Eating at a certain time is a necessity making me nearly late for my scheduled injections and our food being late isn’t a problem I’ve ever had with just eat

The service is slow. Staff are unenthusiastic and act as if they would rather be elsewhere. Toilets are rank. Smell of urine and paper everywhere. If that's the standards in the toilets I wouldn't trust the food hygiene. When raised to the staff nothing was done to rectify this. Not the first time these problems have been seen when visiting here
