EDITED on 16th July 2024: This review was flagged up to me as having 500 views, and on reading it again, I felt I had to add to it as it doesn't seem to have improved looking at the reviews! Customer Service took my complaint seriously and gave me a ten pound voucher, but in effect, that was only worth £3.00 as I'd lost £7.00 of it on the poor meal and service. What I would like to know is 'WHY' is this restaurant getting so many one-star reviews? Surely, KFC needs to have a temporary troubleshooter put in place for as long as it takes. The complaints seem to be consistent, such as not cleaning up, running out of food such as gravy, coleslaw and even chicken, old fat being constantly used, and bins chockerblock full. There should be a manager running this that cares and has a work ethic that other stores have. KFC should not allow them to just give anyone who happens to be working there the title of Duty Manager just to meet legal requirements of someone being in charge.

We arrived right before closing, placed a large order, staff were very fast, efficient and friendly

Went around 6 to the counter and waited and waited! eventually sussed that the staff were preparing big just eat orders so Always use the drive in at this time! A simple sign on the counter would have helped

Ordered 32 pounds worth of food and it never turned up

Old dried up beans, no cheese on my burger and the one piece of chicken was smaller than the tub of beans! Then the delivery guy leaves the food on my doorstep and knocked and walked off!

Mixed order put wrong food in boxes and bones where broken inside the chicken resulting in my wife having bones stuck in her teeth. Usually the food is great but very unhappy this time

Hit and miss restaurant but the staff do their best. Score is based on the £100 fine and court threats I got from their crooked car park enforcement. Even though I spent the entire time in the restaurant I didn't realise there was a time limit. Fully understand why the rule is there but the amount of the fine and refusal to overturn it despite parking there for their restaurant means I won't use kfc again. BEWARE THE PARKING!

Generally alright, have had a few times when they've been out of stock of products, but usually a decent place.

Spot on! Nothing missing and was cooked perfectly tiny bit to salty but not enough to ruin it

3 times of ordering delivery from here and 3 times of having missing items. How the place is still open and profitable I do not know

I have been there three times. Two out of the three times there was a fifteen minute wait and I had to get a refund. All three times it was lunchtime. They are Kentucky Fried Chicken. It's lunchtime. Why is it a surprise people want chicken? Will not be going back

They've changed the "secret recipe" or something. Just not as nice as it used to be. In all fairness it was hot. The new watermelon drink is very nice though.

Stopped off here on the way back from a show in Nottingham, admittedly it was around 10.30pm , the floor throughout was so sticky could hear our shoes sticking to it like an old nightclub 🤢. Hubby ordered the 3 piece boneless fillet box , I had the special offer 3 piece original chicken ,chips and side of a corn cob ,took a little while to be done , others came in and got told there was no food left , I got called up to say they had no corn cob and I would have to choose something else. When the food was eventually ready hubby opened his and he had 2 and half fillets as one had clearly been cut in half and all of his was all watery, he said was the worst chicken he's ever had. Mine was ok , couple at another table staff came over to apologise for something . Didn't seem well managed and felt like if I stayed still too long I'd leave my shoes behind on the floor . Definitely wouldn't stop off here again

Your app stated various differing minutes then a neighbour knocked on the door as it was left going cold, unattended on the doorstep.

Driver advised problem with traffic. Fries were a little cold however chicken burgers were fantastic 😋

Had the wrap, it was burnt, the service was appalling.

When delivered it Was packed Missing all the chips and rice portions were tiny so had to go collect to kfc to collect the order again kinda defeats the object of a delivery

Your delivery driver left my food on the floor outside my front door without even knocking.

The problem with Clifton is the chicken is dry cos it's been standing for to long

The driver dropped the food getting it out of the car and wasted the mini fillets and spilled the gravy all over my fried

Burnt chicken took it back had to wait 20mins for some more not worth he money or effort

Courier was lovely, order was fine, no large beans so 2 small, no Tango so 7up Zero instead.

Food was wrong won’t even give me a refund

I received exactly what l paid for without any issues unlike other delivery companies as they either deliver something totally different or missing, fraudulent companies. Thank you, everything was spot on including the food.

I would like a full refund and a new meal as the driver did not pick it up

Everything ordered was missing completely wrong, order altogether what was delivered was a bucket of chicken nothing else it was even wrong size ordered absolutely disgusting this is and was a total rip off

I've ordered for home delivery, the order arrived within 20 min but it feels like everything was preheated, since nothing was crispy. I'd rather wait another 20 min for freshly prepared meal

Several missing items and a wrong item left us with less food and wrong food. Disappointed family. How hard can it be to check that all the items are there?

Edit, just visited again 7pm and total disaster. Went through drive through as short of time. Only about 5 cars in front of me but ridiculously slow. Moving forward about 1 car length every 6 minutes. In the end after 25 mins I gave up and managed to escape the queue by driving over the kerbs. No food and late for work.

I had the £2.99 boneless meal on offer at the minute. This offers plenty as a meal, and some may think it is small, but when you think of portion sizes, this is enough and fills when in need of a treat. Also, a bargain!!!

How I’ve just paid £24 for a order and I only get 2x burgers 2x chips two hole meals missing you pay a service charge and delivery but don’t get your meals I will never use Clifton kfc again it’s not the first time they have missed bits off it’s states what the order is on the receipt and it comes in the most tiny bag .

The driver left the food at the wrong property, at the same number but on the opposite street. The driver called to let me know he was outside so I stood outside but then I saw him drop it off at another property and drive off. I tried to call back but it wouldn't go through. Had to walk up and ring the doorbell to get our food.

Delivery was amazing, however food quality from kfc wasn’t the greatest

Cold food, no gravy. I always think it will get better but it never fails to disappoint. Other KFC’s at other places have been Fantastic but Clifton, never December 2022. “Let’s do the KFC Christmas Eve thing” come on then, it could be a one off bad experience. Ordered two gravy bucket meals. No joke. 11 drum sticks out of 12 on the bone pieces of chicken. The colonel would be turning in his batter. December 2023. Christmas Eve. Drum stick ratio 4/6….everything else was good.

Delivery time was estimated at 6:00-6.20pm, driver had still not arrived at the restaurant when contact was made with the restaurant at 6.45pm. Order was placed at 5:18! Order was never delivered by the driver.

Food is horrible! This branch should not be open it’s an embarrassment to the kfc name. The staff are rude and don’t look old enough to be being at work, there was 2 girls with nose piercings and fake nails who served me which is unhygienic!! Whilst being surved she was being touched by a tall black man, what sort of establishment is this!! Will not ever come back, will take my custom elsewhere!

Had to wait over 1hr for food. When time being shown was 20 minutes wait. When food was delivered was missing items from my order!

Staff are friendly but every time I've stopped here for respite half the food is missing (they may not believe it, but i do notice when they substitute tomatoes, lettuce, and half the chicken fillet for mayo, mayo, and more mayo, despite not being told), it's always cold and wet and stale, even after a 20 minute wait. Definitely avoid and go to one of the fast food places across the road, much quicker, fresh, and consistent.

Why does it take so long for the poor delivery drivers to be sat waiting for food items to be delivered. Over 50 minutes it stated they was waiting for the food.

What an amazing shop! I am really impressed with quick service of this store and with the quality of the food. The Team Members are amazingly friendly and The management is Amazing. Very well done to all of you guys!!
