Update: orders via just eat incorrect three times in a row. Give it a miss. drive through are always asked to park in the parking lot to scam the timer for food delivery. Good reason though as food can take up to 45 to be served.

Went to KFC Leighton Buzzard today for a nice hot chicken lunch, I was treated by the bubbly LIZ, she is amazing ! So attentive and kind, she could see I was very hungry , my food was prepared at speed and I was seated promptly. A fantastic store and equally amazing staff! LIZ your a gold star!!

Franchised fast food. Its convenience and frankly not worthy of being a destination, food was hot but its always nothing like the pictures on the board, my advice keep it cheap with a few bits from the savers menu, and take a drink in.

Ordered for delivery and was notified it was out for delivery. Driver was 2 mins away from the property according to ubereats tracking and then cancelled the order. Appalling customer service avoid this place at all costs

I don't have anything bad to say about the food, but don't bother getting it delivered unless you want items missing. Most of my delivered orders have had missing sides or even the whole burger missing. They are too busy chatting with each other while packing the food from what I've seen. I recommend only going in there to order, but make sure you check it all before you leave 👍

Nice place plenty of parking and drive thru

My partner & I waited 15mins for our orders of simply boneless chicken fillets & drinks. Once ordered, the employee behind the counter immediately removed our orders from both the "preparing" and "ready" screens and carried on chatting to a delivery driver. We saw our orders sat awaiting his attention for at least 10 of the 15mins we waited before he decided to look back at the "processed" orders to first give my partner his order. When he stepped away to sit & eat, the employee left me stood still waiting & started processing another order before asking me if I had an order I was waiting for. If the orders hadn't been removed until they'd actually been processed, they'd know who was still waiting for orders & what the orders were. It's falsifying their figures & causing bad customer service. It's never busy enough when I've been, to warrant the bad customer service. The employees seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves & delivery drivers, than getting the job done. The food is nice but on this occasion, the chicken was ridiculously greasy & caused the box to break before taking it out the bag, it had been sat there so long before serving.

The service has been consistently poor, with staff seemingly focused on meeting service targets by marking orders as ready for pick-up when they are not. Customers often have to wait for almost 10 minutes without any staff member providing updates on their orders. Additionally, the staff display unfriendly and rude attitudes, merely stating that the order will be a few minutes without giving a specific time frame or offering an apology. A staff member, Ben, who was working at 5:49 PM on 16th Dec 2024, was notably rude and unfriendly. Although KFC is a fast food restaurant, such behaviour from the staff is unacceptable.

I heard the chicken is halal. Hope it's right. Fresh and not dry hard skin.

I ordered food for pickup and called them for an inquiry but after 6 attempts and 2 minute long ringing they didn’t pickup. Why add a phone number to begin with if nobody will pickup?

This is literally the worst KFC I have ever been to.When ever we get any changes to our food that's way to much for this lot they can't seem to comprehend change it's always wrong sometimes even when I take it back it's still wrong these people really don't care about the customers they don't even offer anything for the mistake. Even tho i have to drive back

I would never go back to this KFC again, purely because the management treat the staff here so poorly. They always seem to be rushed off their feet with little to no help from management. A previous review highlighted the KPI drive; staff seem to be so rushed to reach KPI goals that it impacts the actual customer service — but I guess the manager doesn’t care, as long as the store is reaching the performance goals on Paper, even though this is falsified. This has been cemented by many other reviews … the actual staff are usually friendly and helpful. It is a shame.

Only worth going to if they have deals on. Fast food options on menu are like 30 quid for the equivalent of a packet of southern fried chicken worth 4. Their product doesn't reflect the prices, I spend less on items at decent restaurants. I think they forget what market they are in. Literally walked straight in, straight out today.

Usual KFC affair for a chicken fix!

I have avoided going back there due to a recent disappointment. When the place first opened it was very good but on a recent visit I ordered 5 pieces of original recipe chicken from the drive through. After I had driven out I discovered they had given me 5 drumsticks so I was not impressed.

Here’s the refined version with your firsthand account: “I’m starting to believe this KFC runs on some sort of roulette wheel for food quality and service. Some days, you’re in for a treat; other days, it’s like they’re trying to see how bad it can get before you walk out. Today’s experience was one for the books. Despite pre-ordering 15 minutes in advance, I still ended up waiting while the staff moved in slow motion. When I finally asked again, a smug employee handed me my order, which I witnessed had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes—no apology, just a blank stare as if I were the problem. And the grand finale? As I picked up a piece of chicken from the bucket, the thick, jelly-like skin slid right off, leaving me with a less-than-appetizing, slippery mess. Is this a new specialty—‘Extra Gelatinous’? Because it’s definitely not what I signed up for. It’s clear the motto here is ‘If we don’t care, you don’t have to either,’ and the staff are more than happy to live by it. Fried chicken really shouldn’t be this complicated, but here we are.”

Ordered a large fries but they're just hiding a small portion in a large bag.

To takeaway from here, the staff always mess up the order; When you ask for the food, you only get half of what you brought. Could be better

Very hit and miss, the chicken we've ordered a few times has been undercooked. Orders often come with missing parts.

Food is normally pretty good. Sadly in an attempt to improve KPI numbers (at a guess) for a manager staff at this restaurant move orders from "Cooking" to "Ready" as soon as they are place. Making it hard to say how many people are waiting etc. Shame as it's a great location but the KPI dodge just kills the staff and the atmosphere suffers. I'd leave this feedback on the website, but the printers always out of paper so I can't get a feedback code.

One of the better KFC chains I've been to, clean friendly staff and bang on point food. My local KFC is Hemel and to be honest I would rather drive to this one and get food then my local.

Always missing items in the order

The food is well prepared and the staff are friendly. Nice and spacious inside, so you don't feel on top of your fellow customers. Quite pricy, though.

Order on the app, They gave me my Krushems milkshakes told me to park up, which I completely understand. However they then took over 20 minutes to come out and give me my food (it was a Monday lunchtime and was quiet), by which time my milkshakes had completely melted, which I was bringing home to a family member. Was just about to go in but he came out with multiple food bags. Gave me a bag and walked to another car. I checked the order and it was wrong, however it had written on the receipt my number plate on it. I then had to call the boy back, tell him it's wrong and he gave me my order but with someone else number plate on it!? I checked the bag and was given 2 small fries instead of 2 large fries, and they were both completely cold. Seems like my food was made and put to the side to get cold, until they had another order to bring out. Because they took out multiple orders at once, despite the fact I ordered 10 minutes before the car in which my order got mixed up with. So I have no idea how they confused the number plates!? I've worked in fast food up until a few months ago, and I was going to complain but I understand that none of this is probably the poor boys fault who gave me the bags. Just find it ridiculous the time it took considering it was a very quiet Monday there. And they got my order wrong! Horrible experience won't go to this KFC again...

Today I ordered the chicken box and once i bit the meat, I found stuck a black long human hair inside the breading which was disgusting. I reported that immediately to the stuff, and they apologised but then they said that sometimes it can happened. Seriously?? That was my last visit to KFC in my life.

Can never seem to make a Zinger Tower correctly and always end up with something missing from it. Ive even ended up with just a plain fillet burger before 🤦🏼‍♂️.

Ordered food to table. Waited ages between the 3 orders placed. Then they can wrong. Then told no milk for my coffee. Then opened wraps and they were burnt. Swapped and the new ones had burnt pieces all over them. So we were not impressed. Poorly managed, poorly cooked. Huge queue waiting for their food. Drive through driving round multiple times as food not ready??? Lady working was desperately trying to get order back. Other staff didn't seem to have a clue. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

Food was hot, quick and tasty as KFC goes. I would recommend eating in or taking away - lovely clean establishment too. Better than alot of other KFCs

We ordered 2x Gravy Mega boxes. The hot wings smelt off. I told the front desk about my complaint. I was told hat they should be alright and that this was the first time they've had this complaint. I don't feel it right that the customers satisfaction be questioned when something is clearly not right. I did receive 2 hot wings which was a fair gesture, but please do not make the customer feel like they are dillusional

Electric atmosphere inside, staff are sociable and interactive. Music was pumping and questions about the food were answered. 1010 grub will deffo be back 🔜 with all my friends

Thought I'd treat myself this evening, specifically asked for no drumsticks as I'm don't like them, agreed and paid for two breast pieces and two thigh pieces. Got home, rubbish tea, 3 drumsticks and 1 thigh pieces, what a waste of time and fuel..

Ordered the veggie rice box which looked nice on the menu and comparable to rice boxes in other chains such as Leon. Terrible mistake, a box of lettuce and sweet corn, with a couple of spoonfuls of rice. On the picture it looked like it was a bean rice salad. Enquired about the beans and received blank looks and was told I could have more sweet corn as they had no tomatoes. Asked again about the beans, and another staff member remembered what I meant. My box was taken out the back and returned with a teaspoon of salsa with about three beans in. Wow, that was worth asking for. I went back to my table very disappointed with the unhelpful, couldn’t care less attitude of the staff. A few minutes later I was given some corn on the cob that was supposed to come with the meal but had also been forgotten. I couldn’t eat any of it as the staffs attitude to my enquiry about missing items left me feeling uneasy about the meal. It all ended up in the bin and I ate hubby’s chips instead. It isn’t the staffs fault that the meal contents were disappointing- however their attitude was dreadful!

Would give 0 stars if i could. Went in for some takeout this evening. Didn't seem that busy at all inside. However the guys working there seemed very rushed, poor management perhaps? Anyway, our order was almost totally wrong. Incorrect sides all around and none of the burgers had any salad/veg in at all. On top of this, barely any sauce in the burgers. So all we had was dry, beige burgers. To top it off we waited 25mins for our order just to get it home and realize it was all incorrect and poorly made. Don't go here.

No longer fast food. Lack of turnover means that you have to park-up and wait 20 minutes for your food. The writing is on the wall for this branch.

This latest outing to KFC confirms my mindset that I will never go to a KFC anywhere again....The prices charged are extortionate now for a basic 2 piece meal. SCRIMPED portion of fries lucky if you get 10 chips! The chicken portions that you have to make it clear when ordering that the scrappy wing pieces are NOT ACCEPTABLE are served swimming in excess oil, and none serve hot drinks. The staff are somewhat indifferent, the TOILETS are always skanky and most now donot provide WIFI. The restaurants are always cold and not kept up with cleaning . WHAT ARE WE PAYING FOR? It is the whole franchise that is very much at fault.

Nicest KFC I've had for a while. 1st visit to this branch. Nicely cooked, Not greasy and served politely and professionally. Only thing letting them down is the eating area could do with more regular cleaning but certainly clean and presentable enough. We'll done.

I had a good review on this place and I’ve had to change it. I’ve had so many orders from this place and none of them were bad. I’ve just ordered a burger and it was extremely disappointing. Had like one bit of lettuce and a blob of sauce. Disappointing. Was also quite bland. I even think some of the chicken was raw but that may have just been me.

Staff do not pay attention to orders to get a simple order right. Very disappointing experience. KFC should be a treat but it’s just a negative experience here.

We just went to get some food to eat home. When I checked my wrap at home I realised is dry, more than half empty and the chichen is burnt. All the chicken in our order looks old and burnt. I understand it’s a busy store but that shouldn’t matter. The quality of the food should be the same. Not just throw some old stuff in a wrap and give it away to customers.

Thanks for sending me 6 chicken legs, never had all the same before. Dry but also greasy. Don’t know how that’s even possible. 1 fillet missing, Tropicana missing. Delivery driver laughter. KFC Deliver (uber eats) refunded me £0.80p. What is going on. How is this legal. The Tropicana was £1.99. Contacting Mastercard

Cheaters. Don’t go there. I have experienced three times missing orders. Today I have ordered two meals. Both the burgers were missing, it’s a laugh. There was only two cars drive thru around 8:30pm. Looks like they are purposely cheating people.

Lovely quick service and beautiful chicken

I ordered fries, drink and vegan burger. The fries arrived cold and soggy which seems to a constant with this particular branch of kfc. There were also no napkins and we asked for salt pepper and condiments which also were forgotten and it took them quite a long time even though it was evening and the place was practically empty. The service doesn't come across great and this may be because it is run by kids.

They are so inconsistent it’s a joke. It’s like pick a lucky day for good chicken. Some days the food is ok never great. Mostly the food is not good and I wish I never drove there. Yesterday even the children said it was not very nice and would eat anymore. The service staff are always really polite and do a good job. However the food lets this KFC. I will never eat here again or Oder from Leighton Buzzing store. Sick of the disappointing waste of my hard earned money food that comes out of this place.

Came this afternoon to KFC Leighton Buzzard, put my order and waited. One of the staff members was putting food in the bag, dropped the fries on the floor. Instead of replacing them, he just took few (I presume) dirties fries and packed the rest. I demanded replacement, and he just rudely said, why are you complaining it is not additional charge. He replaced them only after I refused to collect food that was on the floor . It makes me wonder how often this happens without us knowing it, and we get food from the floor!? Never going there again
