KFC Leeds - Kirkstall Road in Leeds

Went in for the first and last time! service and staff attitude was appaling and this is an under statement! I regretted every minute spent in there. After searching for an advertised menu for some minutes I went to the counter to ask for help as I couldn't find it. I was directed to ask one of the staff members. I had to call this person twice and wait till he felt like responding, he then told me how to find it but still couldn't so I sent my child to go call him because I didn't want to loose my position in the queue. I waited for 10 minutes before he turned up after emptying and replacing all 7 bins in the restaurant. Bear in mind there were a total of 12 or 15 people in the store including us and at least 7 staff members! I made a mistake with my order and they refused to amend this for me and when asked for the manager he simply said I should place a new order. Which I did and spent £65 instead of the initial £32. First order came with 10 drumsticks out of 14 pieces which I asked to amend to a more balanced option because my kids are not fans of them. My order came back as shown in the photo. Half bucket was thorn apart and the rest was replaced with the smallest pieces of chicken! That photo is of a 14 pieces bucket! Second order was a table service, we sat there to be ignored and then as they kept calling a number i checked my receipt , went to collect and made them aware it was a table service. Manager's excuse was 'yeah but when we're busy we call out' and i repeat at this point we were like 12 customers of which 1 waiting, a delivery driver and 7 staff members! Order came with 4 pieces missing and had to go back again. At this point I was the topic of the kitchen and entire restaurant as the staff will ignore me everytime i approached the counter and will wait for the manager to come out. Worst experience ever! The manager needs to be sacked! And the staff because the aura in there is who feels like the own the place and can do what they want because they're entitled!

Ordered from this place on uber eats. Accepted my order then called 20 mins later to say they couldn’t make what I want and that I would have to contact uber to cancel the order myself… what a joke

I came here with my girlfriend for some late lunch and the people who worked here were lovely. They were efficient very friendly, and even apologised when my food came out only a couple seconds late. You can tell them really care about their customers. The food was hot and juicy, would definitely come back to this kfc

We've been here 3 times I think. The food was really nice and you didn't wait for too long for it. In the afternoon you can pick the window seats as the sunshine spills.

Definitely great chicken ! only the fact it was empty with very little sign of anybody walking in should have told my self not to approach the in store manager . The person shown in an earlier photo on these actual review wearing a short fronted black cap on his head was absolutely flat out rude in comment and what's more this man very much was not aware I was going to be blogging his restaurant until on my leave when I made him aware I would be . His two staff were looking absolutely 💯 % down and embarrassed by his conduct . As I had visited here several times only when going to the vue cinema had started eating at the bridge water arms seen as this were my daughters preferred meal steak as she absolutely loves that place . Only I had a craving for the KFC we all like and love only I walked in shortly before the cinema buying a chicken fillet and two large chicken popcorn 🍿 . Only I had walked on to a premiere shop about 200 yards from KFC only to loose half the chicken out of my chicken fillet burger as I had two little fillets placed in a bun as I found out walking away on to the shop at around 11.30 am today Thursday the 10th of April after cinema on return to buy the chicken I love I though on the recent list a couple of hours earlier think I'll question the two mini fillets as I'd have been aware that the fillets were in two. If they had asked me before giving me them I may have held the fillet buger more firmly. Only I referred to the 2 pieces 1 falling out and asked for a general manger to elaborate on the unfortunate development with the food. Only response was quite rude firm and he looked at myself and my autistic daughter like rubbish along side my daughters mum sat in corner. He said when your burger had fallen to floor you should have picked the chicken up bring it back for it replacing 😏 . Absolutely out of the question having we were rushing to a shop then to watch our film . Only how rude that he was struggling for buisness so much so he wanted his chicken back for a trophy or proofs or even it may have been his living and he may not have been doing well seen as his face was like really upset. Also the fact it was empty around 2.30 pm i really guess that the best restaurant at the cardigan fields is the pub grill . And that's probably where everbody was. Without mallace the thing was he looked desperate for someone to buy so I bought to let him know I was not in the restaurant to gain anything other than his restaurants chicken so I spent another 38 pounds after the previously spend of 18 pounds 💷. As the store needed that money I would hope the male manager looks on his franchise buisness in a different light along side any further new customers or regular clients who want KFC.. If all were like him the franchise would be a wash out and no body would return. My self i will not do a ewe turn as Donald Trump has over past few days or try to allow this franchise person to treat us in the very belittling way again . Please when or if he reads this understand if you were buying food in simply similar circumstances would you be picking it off a floor and running back thinking about it all ! Favour your self with a vocal apology as you can't be doing these things to customers if you were in the right ! Whats so everBODY i can ensure that I wouldn't have been doing this restaurant any favours in sharing my opinion as I really can't deal with rudeness on that scale . From a person who simply didn't care or understand in the values KFC holds. Kfc is known around this globe . legendary 👌 as where ever I had travelled i always search a KFC out if needed.

Very poor experience. Not local and was staying for work. Had to drive a fair bit to get here. Decided to come to sit in after work for dinner and it was closed even though it says 11pm. Rubbish. I won't bother trying again.

Don't order through just eat. I had delivery with missing item and they didn't care. No way to contact restaurant to get the missing item sent so wasted full meal

A very unwelcoming place where you have to order on the screens and with only 2 available it takes a long time to even order food when busy. Found it was worked by mostly foreign people and they just have no manners or customer service skills at all. Visit was bearable but would rush to go there again!

I ask the boy behind the counter if he could swap the wings you get with your meal for a piece of chicken and he said no. I asked why and he said he would have to refund me and do the order again so I said do that then. He then gave me a piece of chicken and told me not to do it again. I won't have someone tell me off in the middle of the restaurant. Looking at other reviews I think KFC need to look at this place.

As always, the store was very clean. The food was ready before I even had a chance to wash my hands, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Although this location is farther from where I live and there is a KFC closer to my house, I prefer coming here because we always have issues with the other branch. Great experience every time!

The most incompetent staff I've ever had the misfortune to meet. Apparently a Gravy Mega Box is now just a piece of chicken in a bag with some chips. Just sack the staff and get a new lot in. Every time I go to this KFC it's CONSISTENTLY wrong. Avoid. 🙄

I had a wonderful experience at KFC Kirkstall today! The restaurant was super clean, and the staff were really friendly, greeting me with a smile right when I walked in. My food came out quickly, and everything was piping hot and fresh. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the sides—especially the mashed potatoes—were on point. Great service, great food, and a really pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!

Can't even rate the food because it never arrived. Said it was ready for an hours for drivers to keep arriving saying it wasn't ready. What a joke. Took them an hour to cancel and by that time they were then closed. As if they didn't have the energy to even cook the food and let the order pass.

Best KFC in Leeds so far for me. Very nice and polite service from staff, chicken meals are well done (might need to reduce the oil a bit when frying the chicken though) and the atmosphere at night is really nice. I enjoy coming here mainly in the night. I can't really find any fault in this particular KFC.

Never seen or had a more horrible wrap than this. The staff seemed like they couldn’t care less, they were too busy talking to each other through out which justifies the quality of the wrap. I wish I could rate less than 1 star but that doesn't seem like an option so there you go!

Toilets are not working, tables are dirty, looks like no one has wiped them all day. Managment was very rude and ignorant. Not the staff, the management very rude and ignorant.

Went into order a snack box. 3 staff members on the counter. Spoke to one woman assistant. After asking some questions wanted to order said meal. Was told I had to go the the screen and order!!!!!! There was no one else in. I told her I wanted to order at the till and not use the screens.. I was told that's the isn't option from head office.. well I didn't buy anything. And won't be going back EVER! WELL, DONE KFC

Went in. Went to counter to order. Told by assistant at the tills to go to 'kiosk' which was not a 'kiosk' but a computer screen. When queried, stated 'It's come from above'. So no human contact when it comes to ordering. Absolutely pathetic!!!! Walked out and went to McDonalds accross the road. What a way to do business. Idiots!!!

Food was great. Location ideal and ample parking. My visit was let down only by one someone not understanding how toilets work and going ham in the gents. Secondly after ordering fries with vegan food I was not advised of cross contamination. Myself have no issues with this but had someone else vegan had the same experience they would be extremely disheartened to learn after the fact. Likely just a training issue.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Ordered take away from here and half the order was missing, everything flat cold and food disgusting. Would like someone to email me regarding this.

Only recently became a convert to KFC, but not as mad about it as my girlfriend, but her sanity is not part of this review 🤣 The restaurant was fairly clean except for the ordering screens which were thick in gunk. Also this places software on the screens has more bugs in it than that scene from the second Indiana Jones movie and as difficult to navigate. The staff looked clean and well presented even if they spent most of their time in the back laughing and joking and avoiding customers. This place is mainly used as a drive through and a food order place. The people picking up the food needed a re-education with a cricket bat as they were rude, pushing in and using the KFC as a minimum wage drivers social club and don't seem to care who they push out of the way. Luckily most of them ride e-bikes so natural selection will take care of them and increase the parts for donors. You would think being near a Vue cinema that they would have a roaring trade but no it seems to be just one metre too far for people to care and the McDonald's nearby has stolen the inebriated crowd coming from the pubs on a night. I would be surprised if this place didn't either become something else or join other fast food places (used that term ironically) in the greasy bucket of the great beyond

Just bought an 8 piece boneless feast which should have included a large popcorn chicken according to the sign in the shop as well as online, when I got home there were no popcorn chicken, I tried half a dozen times to contact the shop but they kept dropping me. The price online is also not the price they charged me in shop. Guess what .... I won't be going there again.

They took my order and then said it had to be as takeout. They were closing in 20 mins. They said price of eat in/takeaway was the same. I hope that is correct. Someone submitted order after me but was served first. With the same order as me!!! I was told mine would be ready in 3 to 4 mins. I waited 15 mins and asked for a refund as order not completed and my mate had already eaten his. I was told I was refunded but the refund does not show, only order. Absolute rubbish from start to finish. They do not care and I only hope I am not out of pocket from this shambles...

I’ve ordered the popcorn chicken snack box and i received a few chips and a few popcorn chickens. When i complained about it the staff weren’t helpful at all. When I’ve ordered this before in a different kfc I got way more food for the same price. I do not recommend if you want to get the right amount of food go somewhere else

As usual the app didn't pick up where I was. It told me I ws in Huddersfield. Gave up using the app, so lost any rewards, and went to drive thro, which wasn't an option on the app that would work anyway. How can a company so regularly balls thinks up.

Can't pack an order correctly, also the guy on the phone didn't seem to care when I told him there were hairs on my chicken. No apology or anything. Very disappointed, will not be ordering again.

Popped in here a few times, first time was really good. Was quite quiet but all food was hot. Been a bit hit and miss other visits - most food is at least warm and on the last visit, a lot of our chips were scabby and nasty.

Service was shocking and staff were frankly rude. Avoid.

Service was quick and accurate. Reason for 4 stars is because I was handed the takeaway bag and staff clearly knew it had a big gaping hole in the side. They were pushing the items back into the bag as they were falling out but yet still decided to hand me the bag. Had to ask for a new one.

Boneless chicken pieces were very small, why isn't there any consistency between restaurants

Just called in at the drive through and asked for a Zinger rice box meal with water. Returned to my Van to fined only chicken and green leaf salad. When I went back into the out let for my rice which I thought would be simple. All I got was hostility and what I did and didn't order. No wonder this outlet is only rated at 3.5 stars and was empty. I certainly will not be calling again.

This is where I like to sit and eat. I don't rush out because the environment is very much friendly. The toilet there is clean and the staff are friendly. Orders don't take long before you get them.

Ordered on the kiosk, sat and waited. After 15 minutes I questioned them and they said they were waiting for the fillets. Half the shop was blocked off so couldn’t sit there. Had to sit by the door which blew a draught at my table every time someone came in or out. Food tasty and good.

Horsforth 100% better Franchisees of kfc should be ashamed of the level of customer service this branch gives.

Called in today on my way in to Leeds. The food was as good as I’ve had at KFC, the staff were pleasant and the facilities were clean, which is a lot more than you can say for most fast food establishments. I will call again when in the area.

Rude staff!! Awful staff member at the check out. Very demeaning to me. Food cold and tables dirty. Facilities gross as the toilets are not clean! Food cold and over priced. Not recommended.

Food was lovely but the lack of interaction between customer and staff was a shame. Ordered on the screen and waited. No greeting when we got to the counter and just a number shouted at us when it was ready. I appreciate that staff may be busy but politeness and manners cost nothing, even a smile would help.

Multiple times now they have forgotten the gravy, or let us order without mentioning they had non made up. KFC without gravy is Like trying to build a house without cement! Sort it out please!
