DISGUSTING BURGER! So stale, crap service and nasty! Place dirty as well ....

Best food from a KFC for a long time. Food was Hot and service was ok . Prices are getting higher and no longer becoming a cheap alternative to other eateries

Hate the new machines. Wanted one coffee while waiting for husband. Told to use machine. Staff Lady tried to help but no coffee on machine so she took my order by till anyway. Could have been servex and sat in fraction of time. Will go to a cafe next time or wetherspoons across the road. Watched as customers struggled with the machines and the staff had to help them order on the machines. Its just nonzense. Just give us old fashionesmd service at till please.

Terrible service, workers just look at you waiting to be served and do not acknowledge you at all. Was waiting to pay for my order by cash after ordering at the kiosk, none of the confused staff members had even greeted me, just seemed to be someone elses problem.

No use ordering in advance on the app. There is no sense of urgency. It was 11.30 on a Monday and there was no one at the restaurant. Still had to wait 15 mins for my order to come. What even is the point of ordering in advance if you have to wait 10+ minutes for your order anyway because the staff are too busy dawdling about and chatting to each other than to actually pack the orders? Management need to sort this out

Service was weird they called us when it wasn't ready, food was overpriced and it was garbage, disgusting. I am going to regret the 23 pounds I spent here forever because I ate about 10 chips, 3 popcorn chicken, 2 fillets and called it a day. Tasted like dead bodies. It was cooked fine I guess but it was all genuinely vile. I may as well have drawn the money from my bank and chewed it and it would have tasted better. I don't usually review and I am being so serious when I say I would rather chew my shoe than go back, eat anywhere else. If you are allergic to nuts and your choice is between this KFC or nuts, I'm 100% sure you would get more enjoyment out of the nuts. The ice cream was okay but not worth the price, the beans was nasty too. Would rather consume a live chicken kicking and squawking than eat the fillet again. Don't bother even trying it I beg you spare yourself

It’s called a “drive through” for a reason. Every time I go I get told to park up and wait. And once they completely forgot my order and I had to go in, after waiting 15 mins. Useless.

Nice place to dine in or take away.

Asked for 20 wings, when came home find just 16 in the bucket, this is not the first time, check your food before leaving the shop.

So I ordered my food via the touch screen I wanted plain chips but got told by a stressy woman behind till there was an option to change to normal chips. There wasn't anyone can see this she gave proper attitude so will not be coming back here again

I ordered 1 burger and chips and took 17 minutes.9 orders ahead of me with half having at least 2 burgers on and I was having to wait through all to get 1 burger. Also I got a tiny slice of cheese unmelted and cost a shocking 40 pence. Service is absolutely atrocious and chips are far too salty. I dont ever recommend coming here. I will never be back.

Just had drive through parked up the wrap was upside down with the wrapping just thrown on top Chips had 6 in bag rest were thrown at the bottom of the bag all cold Staff haven’t got a clue and rude

Called in for takeaway. Got home within 5 minutes and it was stone cold. The chicken was overcooked, They gave me the wrong burger with approx 12 chips. Disgusting

My wife and I have gone into KFC every week for some time I go because the value is ok and i like KFC Ok prices are going up but thats the world now We were in there today 22 March 24 but not good value at all Usual 3 pieces of the bone, TINY bad value 6 Spicy Wings. More like sparrows so small Fries Cold. It is difficult to be taken notice of I agree I am older I admit and I know what KFC can be Finger Licking Good and a fair price. Come on KFC METRO CENTRE Pull your socks up. Next week will be the decider if we return, Which dishes do you recommend? Well non at the moment. Shame Mr J Melvin Gosforth

The service is acc disgusting they don’t come when you are clearly standing there totally disgusted and there isn’t even enough staff working

Miserable staff, paid no attention to customers waiting to be served. Even the manager, took the till draw out to cash up and did not acknowledge me standing at the front of the counter. I asked if anyone was serving. Which an old ish women replied- when I get a minute. How rude! I understand she was busy. However, even just acknowledging customers, by saying I’ll be with you in a minute, would have went a long way.

Great place to grab quick bite to eat in Gateshead metro centre, whilst shopping. Reasonable prices. Inside toilet in KFC but they shut it at certain times for some reason🤔place was clean and tidy. Staff friendly Would come again for quick bite to eat

Shockingly bad, I ordered a boneless feast this morning, paid £20+ and they didn’t put any fries in my order. Nobody seemed to be checking the orders as they went out as many people seemed to be getting the wrong food whilst I was waiting, my mistake perhaps for not checking myself but my order was called so I assumed it was correct. When I got home I tried to call over 10 times and nobody answered the phone, if the tyne-wear derby wasn’t on I’d have made the journey again and get a full refund. I wouldn’t mind but it’s not even a cheap place to eat anymore- I’d like someone to contact me to organise compensation.

Absolutely shocking service, shocking food, discusting. There were more staff than customers yet the place was pure filth and I had to clean my own table. Burger buns were rock solid, they had been sat on the pass for god knows how long. I actually can not belive I experienced that.

Did not like the food at all. First, my order was late. Secondly, in the bucket, all the chicken pieces were the same kind. Thirdly, the chicken was overcooked. Seating is very congested.

Probably the hottest KFC with a decent portion size I have ever had Maybe due to a high turnover of sales items are not sat in racks awaiting sales Even the fizzy drinks tasted proper Seating area and tables where well maintained by staff and does make a difference Toilets where clean All made a good impression Well Done KFC

Ordered at the Kiosk, waited for about 20 minutes before receiving any food. Food was cold, stale and salty. Worst KFC ive ever been too. Staff ignore customers and lose there temper with an ice cream machine infront of you. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY

A lot of people complaining the zinger is to dry but I’ve tasted the zinger stacker meal it’s better than the zinger despite it actually being larger it’s way juicer and has more flavour.

After eating here I got affected by throat infection. I had teriyaki bites and right after that felt that itching sensation in my throat .. felt sick for 2 days .. Delivery was very slow , less Cleanliness .. not eating here again .. and I don’t recommend others as well to eat here because of lack of quality

We ordered our meals and waited I looked and our meal was ready but just sitting behind 4 others.. 1 person doing the orders and serving drinks at the same time.. I finally got my order and she put a Pepsi down and I said I ordered tea .. she pulled a face and said we don’t do hot drinks with the meals (one of the orders had a cappuccino ) !!. So this other girl started to get mouthy with me and I said have you a manager”I am the manager “ I asked her name and she said Lauren and started waving bye ..other customers were all saying that was really bad and were disgusted..absolutely appalling behaviour for a manager ..No customer service ..and after all that my food was cold .. never come here again ..

Service was shocking. Order was wrong and manager Lauren was sarcastic and clearly doesn’t care.

£61 order through just eat arrived late (2 hrs) it was cold and £40 +of the order was missing ordered Pepsi received tango. Hot wings were pink so not cooked properly. Phoned restaurant to be told its just eats fault I'm sorry but it's KFC staff that put your order up not the delivery driver. Absolutely disgrace will never buy from them again

Hot and miss in terms of service. Some day you can get table service other days you can't.

3rd time visiting in the past year and it will be the last. It's quite obvious that the staff cannot handle the sheer amount of customers that visit this KFC which shows into the service and food. The first time we went this year there were so many orders waiting to go for deliveries as well as customers orders were being mixed up, we took our bag to our seats to realise after a 15 minute wait it was someone else's. We then had to wait again for our order. It was absolute chaos, the second time again was manic they were actually turning away customers so we went elsewhere. This final time again took ages to receive our food, there was 3 pieces of lettuce on the burger and the sauce was mainly on the box with very little on the burger so it was very dry. The sauce on the box had a skin on it so had obviously been there a while. The atmosphere is chaotic and unwelcoming, the food was the worst I've had from KFC in a long time. They need a bigger space and a lot more staff or another KFC inside the mall, they just can't handle the way they are now.

Staffing issue, so they had to close by 4pm. Disappointed, however, the manager was very friendly and polite about the unavoidable situation. Big up for the front manager.

The chicken was ok but salty, the service was a bit fair than the last time while the floor needed to be tidied up most often because people dropped what they were eating on the floor...

Reasonable KFC outlet with what is expected in general for one.

Ordered extra mayonnaise and lettuce on a Chicken fillet meal ,there was no lettuce apart from scattered around the box. The chops were tasteless and limps. The coke was flat. Terrible

Maybe most disgusting food in the metrocenter! I don't recommend at all. Very dried and taste like rubber, the salad in burger was clearly not fresh ,aspect 0. Waste money.

Very slow service with over a 10 minute wait even during a quiet period. Just lack of staff and also chicken portion sizes seem to be getting smaller whilst prices keep rising.

Not had a KFC in ages. Placed an order no receipt. Long wait but was at a busy time. No as good as I remember it.

Not a bad place orders are usually correct and received in a quick manner even when busy but the atmosphere could be better but that isn't KFCs fault is it's in the middle of the metrocenter and cannot help the noise

The staff are not trained well to do table services they often gave the table service order to some other table without checking. Later you have to redo the order at the counter and wait again for another 30mins or more.

It's hit or miss, it's either got really good staff and they're all working 100% and everyone gets served. Or the staff cba and orders are taking 45 minutes to come out. It's hit or miss with the customers, its either super busy or super quiet, I often get there between 6pm-8pm as I finish work. Not too hygienic, I find the tables aren't cleaned enough, although there are the occasional members of staff doing a great job keeping it tidy. Chicken has always been good, never had that bad KFC where the flour is burned and not attached to the skin.

Got pieces of chicken that smelt more like fish took back to counter spoke to manager who refused to smell the offending food. Given chicken strip replacement. A couple nearby had same issue. Won't go back

Queue out the door, one of the three self service screens faulty. None of them had table numbers to use, which is normally ok as your receipt has the number on….shockThere was no printer paper in the printer. Worst kfc ever. Won’t return

Probs the worst KFC I've had in a while, 3 tiny bits of chopped lettuce, chicken and sauce like it had been thrown together, didn't know Inflation was that bad. Froes we're ok at least and the popcorn chicken.

Visited this KFC a few days ago, it was rammed I guess everyone wanted their food before shops closed. Poor staff working super hard to process and expedite orders, the front desk staff grafted their arses off. That being said part of my order was missed and a few other people had to return to get some stuff sorted however it was very busy and chaotic due to big orders and delivery drivers waiting etc so I didn't mind. Whoever was serving on the 15th June on the evening I want you to know your hard work was appreciated

The food is excellent, really delicious. The service by staff is really friendly & thoughtful. If there is anywhere you need to go for great food, then KFC will be your favourite.

Exciting lucnch, cozy atmosphere, smart waiter and waitress, excellent customer service too. I won one of the arcade games on the app and got a wrap for that too. Cheers.

Very busy restaurant inside meteocentre. Service is really slow which let's it down. Food is as expected from kfc. Halal kfc which is a bonus.

Food was slow to be prepared. Waited so long I had to go and look for it. Zinger Tower looked like it was thrown together. Didn't get a receipt from the machine so couldn't check my order was correct. Tables were not clean. Bit expensive for so a poor service. Won't be going back.

Friendly service, good prices and tast good as well

I bought a family pack with 3 side dishes, all the side dishes put in was gravy sauce and at another time the baked bean side dishes was filled with maggots. Staff are not organised, too crowded staff area and a lot of distractions. Sometimes chicken is not fresh and too salty.

Quiet but the staff are all over the place Member of staff crashed into me and nearly knocked me over she apologised but she wasn't watching where she was going. Pain in back is killing me! As she hit me side on full force.

Been here several times now and service is shocking,not only have we waited more than 30 minutes for food virtually every time there's also multiple times we've had to go back for missing items and most recently 4 orders with no chips in any of them aswell as missing out the kids sundaes when questioned at the counter staff had an attitude and said corn or chips are included in the order yet we had not received any of either Place is a joke I'll no longer be using this KFC

Went to collect food for 4 of us in the family service was fine but when we got home the food was very disappointing. Very small portions may as well not have bothered ordering fries as there was about 20 and they were cold. My partner had a chicken burger meal and the bread was stale and the chicken was like eating a sole off a shoe . My son and his girlfriend had a boneless box each again small portions they got 3 chicken popcorn each and small portions of chips like mine were. I do not think the food was at its best standerd and none of us enjoyed what we had .

We were served by Clare, she was very pleasant , she was rushed of her feet trying to take food out and cleaning tables in between, all we could hear was her name eing called all the time, seemed very unfair she was the only one on the floor, I can imagine how she felt.

All the food we ordered was tasteless. We ordered a family feast and everything tasted different to what it normally does. I was stood at the till for a couple of minutes with nobody else around me to order my food but I was being ignored by the staff. My sister could cook better chicken… and she is vegan

I asked for my order five times, asking for a tea..... what was served Americano coffee!!... place had large crowd trying to order, was told by staff sorry we can't take orders, please try later... access for wheelchairs not easy as narrow by ordering, then blocked by people waiting for orders

Visited this KFC today (January 16th 2023), when arriving we noticed a large number of staff sat at one of the tables at the front of the restaurant seemed as though they were having a meeting. When is receiving our order they had forgotten the bottle of water which they quickly resolved. From here things went downhill, we found a seat and when we sat down we noticed there was chips which had been shoved into the gap between the cladding on the wall, which had clearly been there awhile. The dividers between tables were disgustingly dirty. Legs of chairs and tables were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Overall it was extremely dirty all over the restaurant, the food wasn't great. Definitely won't be going back there anytime soon.
