Absolutely shocking ordered a part bucket got home it was missing food so rang and was told they would give me a code to get it replaced when I went back a week or so later used the code and for the party bucket went home again and guess what half the food wasn’t there again shocking shocking shocking and I was also called a liar I said check your cameras and wow they are not working what a joke

Dropped in to digby and sowton kfc just for a quick stop for dinner when ordering i forgot to add an item so I mentioned this to a server i do belive his name his sonny he delt with it pretty quick and efficient thanks again sonny what a lad

Lad called sonny was a very good hardworking lad and kind

Waiting for over 45 minutes just for our order to be cancelled and remade again. Horrible service wouldn't recommend.

Filthiest 'restaurant' I've ever been in. Rubbish and half-eaten food everywhere. £8.50 for 3 chicken drumsticks and a couple of grotty chips. Hadn't been to KFC in 10 years, now I remember why

Great place, only let down by a load of schoolkids making lots of noise but it was just after school that we went in so only to be expected tbh, they were no trouble at all just loud

CBA to cook tonight. It's a standard KFC, did drive through so didn't see inside. Order taken quickly and food came quick too. Staff seemed pretty friendly too.

They forgot they had a drive through and had no one ready to take an order, waited a short while, assumed they had closed, left with no service

Great service from the team here tonight... The cashier Kathryn took the time to explain the best offers and the lads doing the serving were friendly and the chicken was piping hot... Some good offers on here tonight Top job today guys.... Thank you 👍🙂

Just been here today. Waited 20 minutes and just gave up in the end. There were 4 lads completing orders, yet not 1 of them acknowledged us stood there, not even to say they were busy or we would have to wait for a bit. This is everything that's wrong with society today. We won't ever bother going again as it seems to be run by cretins. Do what humans are supposed to do for God's sake and COMMUNICATE. I give 0 stars.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, Awful outlet, just disgraceful!..... Took over 20 mins from ordering to getting the food, which looked like it had been thrown together by a toddler. The staff have less morale and interest in being there than a Turkey than just found Bernard Matthews grinning at it, and at least 50% of the customers were returning to the counter for mistakes or missing items!..... Save your cash and your time, please go elsewhere 🤬

Absolutely awful meal, the chicken was overdone and very dry. I had all of 9 chips which was spicy (which I didn’t ask for) tried to ring them and didn’t even answer the phone. Definitely would not recommend

Food was cold aero shake was more ice than a shake. Staff rude and dusting and cleaning tables next to us to make it go towards us to hurry us up so they can shut the one side of the store early. Food is overpriced and tasteless

Worst KFC terrible service crap ordering system.

Unfortunately as much as I love KFC the service was bad not enough staff. The food when it eventually came out the chicken was warm the corn on the cob piping hot was a let down. May of been having a off day.

I went into kfc for 2 gravy mega boxes i ordered at the till and placed my order and i also requested for there to be a drumstick in 1 box and a breast in the other wich when i took it home to eat there was a drumstick in both boxes and when they called my number thats when they informed me that there was no gravy wich they should of informed me when i placed my order and also it took about 20 minutes to get my food how can they call it fast food if it takes 1/3 of an hour to receive my food all and all this restaurant is absolutely appalling i will be expecting a 10 pound voucher from kfc to pay for the disgrace of the service

Slight odd experience. First time using the app to do all the ordering. I placed my order before my colleague and yet she got her food about 10 minutes before me so I'm not sure what the wait was. Only positive was that when I finally got my order I was given an extra free drink. Don't get me wrong it could have been by mistake but I'm trying to see it as it was a gesture of good will for how long I had to wait

Dreadful place, wipe your feet on the way out!. Looks and feels very dirty. Spent £34, got home to find the order was wrong (no fries) so had another 8 mile round trip to get them.10 piece bucket consisted of 6 drumsticks and very greasy thigh bits (no breast bits), hot wings were the size of chicken nuggets. Disappointed is an understatement.😒

It's a very good kfc but there are times it can be bad depending on when you go or if they are having staffing issues.

Boneless box, very nice. Not too keen on the fries coating though, won't be having them again. Just want plain fries and I can put whatever I want on them not what I think I want.

Took forever to get through the drive thru, about 30 minutes. No clear reason for the delay as it wasn't that busy. Lady at the order window was abrupt and did not apologise for items missing from the menu. Put my order through wrong despite me clearly telling her what I wanted.

The drive through was empty, yet I waited for more than 10 minutes for my meal, which sat in front of me at the window. I think staff had been waiting for a small side, which if asked I would have changed or just left. The food was fine, but a little cold. Service was alright, I was told after order card or cash, no contactless, which is a bit of a pain. I can't really speak much about the atmosphere, the checkout window staff were friendly enough, but an update or alternative on what was going on would have been nice instead of just being messed up there for over 10 minutes.

Love KFC. The bins outside aren't great tho, normally overflowing.

Thought to be good, but called in close to closing time (over half hour before) having not eaten for about eight hours and waited 3/4 hour in the drive through to be served the very worst (plucked out of the bin), cold and tough kfc that I have EVER had...love kfc, but avoid this branch, it put us off kfc for months....go Taco Bell next door...MUCH BETTER!

Fast food what a joke waited 20 mins for our food. Food was chucked in a bag and handed to me. The whole place needs a good clean. The umbrella outside says it all.

The restaurant was very dirty with food on the floor and tables and the staff member that served me was unpleasant. And when we got our food my sister had 2 breast of chicken my brother in law had 2 drum stick and I was given 2 wings and we had to ask for salt because their wasn't any out . That cost me £24:54 I will never go in there again I hope someone will go and check the place out or you might loose alot of customer. I can't even give one star for food because my self and guess was disappointed with it

Most appalling KFC I've ever been in and won't be back. It's a pity the Health Inspectors did call in, the tables were filthy the floor needed a good clean and the waste bins were over flowing.

I now use the drive-through, as I feel the whole site could do with a good clean-up. The bins most definitely need emptying a lot more often than they currently do.

Went for lunch the place needed a good clean, all the tables were dirty and the floor needed a good sweep. It was around 1.30pm to 2pm that we went in there so the rush hour was over. Won't be back again. We all had a 2 piece meal my husband had two drum sticks,my brother had two wings and I had two breast which was so small they were like wings. The chips were over cooked. Now we paid £25 for that it was disgusting.

Ordered water, no water, ordered plain fillet got zinger fillet. No forks for my rice box only spoons. No bean salsa in rice box wasn’t told just given took back just we don’t have it, not offered anything else or apologies. Food warm at best, worst kfc I’ve been too!

Something weird with the chips here that happens nowhere else..they seem.to have pepper or something ..never used to?! We've.tried twice in case error.but the same awful taste next time. Asked for salt and got given a fork..random.:)

We have been numerous occasions order a bargain bucket, get home and find we have only drumsticks the last time we decided to take it back and got refunded as they didn't have any other chicken only drumsticks ITS A FAST CHICKEN WHY DONT YOU HAVE IT ??!! Last sunday we decided to have something different it was overcooked very dry and just a hand full of chips. Rydon lane has lost our custom. Oh and all the bins where overflowing too I think this store need a hygiene check !!

I visited on a Monday afternoon at about 5 o'clock, it was quiet & I didn't have to wait long to get served. I stayed in to eat my meal & I was disappointed to see seagulls savaging from the overflowing bins & dragging litter around the car park. I don't know who's responsible for emptying the bins but they obviously should be checked & emptied more often. The bins have KFC logo's on them, it's not good PR.

Very bad this is now the 3rd time I came in, on this occasion the drinks machine wasn't working, so our drinks were being poured straight from the bottle (in our view) our food was cold but we didn't complain as we were hungry & wanted to eat. On sitting down we had to again wipe the table, then when we got up to leave I nearly slipped up on the floor. KFC used to be a good place what has happened???

Appalling. You pay good (not cheap anymore) money and you get the wrong order and a freezing cold burger. You go back to get it changed and in the meantime everything else goes cold and then they get the order wrong again.!!!! No more visits at all.

I went here a few days ago. The place was disgusting. The tables and chairs looked as though they had been dedicated on by a cat. Outside was disgusting as well.

Chicken was dry as if it had been around for a while. 4 piece KFC original contained 3 drumsticks. Not acceptable.

One word "Awful!" KFC you need to do something about this store, barely edible died out chicken, limp cold fries. Premium prices sub prime food. I've given you a few goes and never had a good meal here. No more chances, change or people like me will vote with their feet. My recommendation is avoid this store.

The most unfriendly customer service team I have ever encountered. Very cold and mechanic response, they did not talk to me directly, only called my ticket number and dumped my food out in front, moved on to the next person without acknowledging if t was the right order for me!

The very worst KFC I’ve ever been to. Took 35 mins to get through the drive through, only to be served with poor food. Absolutely awful.

Went in restaurant at 7pm all bins were overflowing with rubbish, chips were sitting going cold, chicken was only warm. I approached counter as wrong dip given it took 3 mins for someone to notice me the counter was also full if rubbish and whilst stood there watched an employee make a kryshem the ice cream dripped on his hand he liked it off then picked up a lid and put on drink. My husband asked manager why when it's quiet why this place looks a mess and no room in bins, he said he will get someone out to clean up this took another 20 min to get someone out. There was the manager and at least 4 it her staff out the back on mobile phone laughing and saying unpleasant things about someone, the person he sent out was a lady who was actually the only one really working out the back. Disgusting ....

WORST KFC EVER 10 piece chicken wings bucket for one Reality and Expectation

What. Is this kfc. Doing running a business or. A play group. As. Went there today with family and seen a member of staff being bullied by a lot of members off staf absolutely appalling I will be ringing there head office I mange to get names and the names of the poor. Young man who was being bullied by his work mates. I ended up walking out as I did not wontmy children seeing this behavior

Absolutely gross. No care at all. Absolutely disgusting place. Rubbish piled high

Collected the takeaway pre order in store. It took an absolute age with no one front counter talking to anyone pre ordered yet still waited 20 mins to collect. Really need to work on staffing front of house. People were waiting 10 mins for anyone to come out from the back to place their order. They obviously seem to prioritize the drive through. Will use the other Exeter KFC in future.

Love KFC! All the food was hot and the order was correct so can't fault it.

The smallest portions I have ever seen from KFC, told by staff it’s just the way it is. Paying to upgrade a meal to large and being given regular if you can even call it that, as ‘they don’t do large for snack boxes’, not sure why it is an option and allowed us to pay for it. Couldn’t just put more chips in? Staff member sat at a table having a loud conversation on speaker phone for our entire visit. Fizzy drinks such as tango tasted of soda water, couldn’t even drink them. Will not be returning and would highly advise others not to either. Wasted money.

A very hit and miss kfc seems delivery companies get a much better service than a normal customer

Popped in after a visit to the blue box, service very slow, order was incomplete with no apology offered, food was mediocre, and lukewarm. The lobby was appalling which we hadn’t noticed until we’d ordered, we appreciate it may have been a busy bank holiday Monday, but there is no excuse for what can only be classed as a disgrace. Table unwiped, bins overflowing, in the end we had to ask for our table to be wiped clean. One couples commented, they were used to a well know pub chain and this was worse! Not really good enough, didn’t expect fine dining, but basic hygiene would have been nice. After 55 minutes we left with no attempt to clean the dining area!

I don’t understand how “fast food” takes so long and the end result is cold, soggy greasy over cooked food. Bits missed off the meals. Surely standards should be higher. I know it’s a first world problem but come on…

By Jove does the colonel how to make some cracking chicken. Shame I had to wait so long to taste it in the queue. Never once been to this restaurant and had a quick in and out experience. The wait times are brutal here. By the time I actually get my food it is no longer enough to fill me up as I’ve been malnourished for so long

What an awful place. We ordered 3 thing, which they got wrong. The place was freezing cold with overflowing bins and drinks spilt on tables and chairs. The gents toilet only had one of 2 urinals working so queuing for this and the ladies toilets has mould growing up the walls. Had we seen this first we would have walked out without ordering. Somebody should be held accountable for this health hazard.

I came here with my grandparents and it was awful we orded as normal and had to wait half an hour for our food and then they forgot the drinks and had to wait another 10 minutes for them and i went to the toilets and there was urine and all sorts on the toilet seats and no toilet roles and stuff all over the floor it is disgraceful will not be coming here again! I have pictures of the toilets

Been here a few times and very hit and miss. This review is based on my most recent visit. I was in the area for business reasons so I thought I would treat myself. The front door was locked, the drive through was coned off. Confused people sat waiting in the car park. Went to the nearby Tesco Cafe instead - much better service.
