The restaurant was very dirty with food on the floor and tables and the staff member that served me was unpleasant. And when we got our food my sister had 2 breast of chicken my brother in law had 2 drum stick and I was given 2 wings and we had to ask for salt because their wasn't any out . That cost me £24:54 I will never go in there again I hope someone will go and check the place out or you might loose alot of customer. I can't even give one star for food because my self and guess was disappointed with it

I now use the drive-through, as I feel the whole site could do with a good clean-up. The bins most definitely need emptying a lot more often than they currently do.

Most appalling KFC I've ever been in and won't be back. It's a pity the Health Inspectors did call in, the tables were filthy the floor needed a good clean and the waste bins were over flowing.

Went for lunch the place needed a good clean, all the tables were dirty and the floor needed a good sweep. It was around 1.30pm to 2pm that we went in there so the rush hour was over. Won't be back again. We all had a 2 piece meal my husband had two drum sticks,my brother had two wings and I had two breast which was so small they were like wings. The chips were over cooked. Now we paid £25 for that it was disgusting.

Ordered water, no water, ordered plain fillet got zinger fillet. No forks for my rice box only spoons. No bean salsa in rice box wasn’t told just given took back just we don’t have it, not offered anything else or apologies. Food warm at best, worst kfc I’ve been too!

Something weird with the chips here that happens nowhere else..they seem.to have pepper or something ..never used to?! We've.tried twice in case error.but the same awful taste next time. Asked for salt and got given a fork..random.:)

We have been numerous occasions order a bargain bucket, get home and find we have only drumsticks the last time we decided to take it back and got refunded as they didn't have any other chicken only drumsticks ITS A FAST CHICKEN WHY DONT YOU HAVE IT ??!! Last sunday we decided to have something different it was overcooked very dry and just a hand full of chips. Rydon lane has lost our custom. Oh and all the bins where overflowing too I think this store need a hygiene check !!

I visited on a Monday afternoon at about 5 o'clock, it was quiet & I didn't have to wait long to get served. I stayed in to eat my meal & I was disappointed to see seagulls savaging from the overflowing bins & dragging litter around the car park. I don't know who's responsible for emptying the bins but they obviously should be checked & emptied more often. The bins have KFC logo's on them, it's not good PR.

Very bad this is now the 3rd time I came in, on this occasion the drinks machine wasn't working, so our drinks were being poured straight from the bottle (in our view) our food was cold but we didn't complain as we were hungry & wanted to eat. On sitting down we had to again wipe the table, then when we got up to leave I nearly slipped up on the floor. KFC used to be a good place what has happened???

Appalling. You pay good (not cheap anymore) money and you get the wrong order and a freezing cold burger. You go back to get it changed and in the meantime everything else goes cold and then they get the order wrong again.!!!! No more visits at all.

Chicken was dry as if it had been around for a while. 4 piece KFC original contained 3 drumsticks. Not acceptable.

I went here a few days ago. The place was disgusting. The tables and chairs looked as though they had been dedicated on by a cat. Outside was disgusting as well.

One word "Awful!" KFC you need to do something about this store, barely edible died out chicken, limp cold fries. Premium prices sub prime food. I've given you a few goes and never had a good meal here. No more chances, change or people like me will vote with their feet. My recommendation is avoid this store.

The most unfriendly customer service team I have ever encountered. Very cold and mechanic response, they did not talk to me directly, only called my ticket number and dumped my food out in front, moved on to the next person without acknowledging if t was the right order for me!

The very worst KFC I’ve ever been to. Took 35 mins to get through the drive through, only to be served with poor food. Absolutely awful.

Went in restaurant at 7pm all bins were overflowing with rubbish, chips were sitting going cold, chicken was only warm. I approached counter as wrong dip given it took 3 mins for someone to notice me the counter was also full if rubbish and whilst stood there watched an employee make a kryshem the ice cream dripped on his hand he liked it off then picked up a lid and put on drink. My husband asked manager why when it's quiet why this place looks a mess and no room in bins, he said he will get someone out to clean up this took another 20 min to get someone out. There was the manager and at least 4 it her staff out the back on mobile phone laughing and saying unpleasant things about someone, the person he sent out was a lady who was actually the only one really working out the back. Disgusting ....

WORST KFC EVER 10 piece chicken wings bucket for one Reality and Expectation

What. Is this kfc. Doing running a business or. A play group. As. Went there today with family and seen a member of staff being bullied by a lot of members off staf absolutely appalling I will be ringing there head office I mange to get names and the names of the poor. Young man who was being bullied by his work mates. I ended up walking out as I did not wontmy children seeing this behavior

Absolutely gross. No care at all. Absolutely disgusting place. Rubbish piled high

Collected the takeaway pre order in store. It took an absolute age with no one front counter talking to anyone pre ordered yet still waited 20 mins to collect. Really need to work on staffing front of house. People were waiting 10 mins for anyone to come out from the back to place their order. They obviously seem to prioritize the drive through. Will use the other Exeter KFC in future.

Love KFC! All the food was hot and the order was correct so can't fault it.

My first meal in Exeter and my most frequent visit. Like their fried chicken.

The smallest portions I have ever seen from KFC, told by staff it’s just the way it is. Paying to upgrade a meal to large and being given regular if you can even call it that, as ‘they don’t do large for snack boxes’, not sure why it is an option and allowed us to pay for it. Couldn’t just put more chips in? Staff member sat at a table having a loud conversation on speaker phone for our entire visit. Fizzy drinks such as tango tasted of soda water, couldn’t even drink them. Will not be returning and would highly advise others not to either. Wasted money.

Popped in after a visit to the blue box, service very slow, order was incomplete with no apology offered, food was mediocre, and lukewarm. The lobby was appalling which we hadn’t noticed until we’d ordered, we appreciate it may have been a busy bank holiday Monday, but there is no excuse for what can only be classed as a disgrace. Table unwiped, bins overflowing, in the end we had to ask for our table to be wiped clean. One couples commented, they were used to a well know pub chain and this was worse! Not really good enough, didn’t expect fine dining, but basic hygiene would have been nice. After 55 minutes we left with no attempt to clean the dining area!

Overpriced, small portions and cold. What more could they get wrong. Not been for a few years and wasn't that good then. I won't be going again for a long time, suggest that you spend your money on more local restaurant.

By Jove does the colonel how to make some cracking chicken. Shame I had to wait so long to taste it in the queue. Never once been to this restaurant and had a quick in and out experience. The wait times are brutal here. By the time I actually get my food it is no longer enough to fill me up as I’ve been malnourished for so long

What an awful place. We ordered 3 thing, which they got wrong. The place was freezing cold with overflowing bins and drinks spilt on tables and chairs. The gents toilet only had one of 2 urinals working so queuing for this and the ladies toilets has mould growing up the walls. Had we seen this first we would have walked out without ordering. Somebody should be held accountable for this health hazard.

Very good food but a bit pricey.

I came here with my grandparents and it was awful we orded as normal and had to wait half an hour for our food and then they forgot the drinks and had to wait another 10 minutes for them and i went to the toilets and there was urine and all sorts on the toilet seats and no toilet roles and stuff all over the floor it is disgraceful will not be coming here again! Been here a few times and very hit and miss. This review is based on my most recent visit. I was in the area for business reasons so I thought I would treat myself. The front door was locked, the drive through was coned off. Confused people sat waiting in the car park. Went to the nearby Tesco Cafe instead - much better service.

Always good food nice and Hot really tasty

Good food but can sometimes be bad. The customer service is just not great. I like the wings and thighs also the new chips. But overall 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐. And this place is dirty alot of the time. It could use alot of work. I'm very disappointed. 😕

Had to wait for over 15 mins, which wouldn't have been an issue if the food was freshly cooked but it wasn't, it was cold and soggy. For this pleasure I paid £28 I will not be using kfc again.

Without a doubt the worst of in Exeter. Shared a 6 piece bucket with my wife,5 drumsticks out of 6 pieces although they did swap 2 for other leg pieces. That much grease the bottom of the bucket had almost given out. All the tables were dirty,bins overflowing with rubbish and the toilet was disgusting. Sorry KFC but we won't be returning to this restaurant.

Food was cooked quickly and was hot and fresh, staff were attentive and helpful despite being quite busy. Certainly a lot better than the Sidwell Street branch

After a long wait served by scruffy looking young staff , 6 piece bucket only 5 in it and the chips were warm and soggy and not very many . Will not visit again !

The food you get is normally good - but rarely what you ordered. There are always missing items and the staff are generally uninterested.

The chicken was dry and cold. The chips was luke warm and they got my order wrong 2 times and it happened before definitely going to a different kfc from now on.

Popped in to get a takeaway on way home. I haven't been here for some yrs. While waiting for takeaway I went through door to toilets & found I had to be extremely careful walking as I was slipping very badly on an extremely greasy floor to get to the ladies. As I walked into the toilet cubicle my eyes went straight to the corner on right to the dust & mould clinging to the walls all the way down to the bottom & over the toilet brush. on the right. The floor in the ladies also very greasy. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. I will never go to that KFC ever again. I had to be careful walking back into the restaurant where I found the floor was greasy there also & I was walking with a walking stick. I cleaned the bottom of the shoes when I got back home. Never again!!!!

I should give a really bad review but the staff make up for the fact when they hardly have any food, food packaging and no bottled drinks, but staff is so likable and as long as I get chicken, I'm happy!

I’m not joking worst kfc I’ve had in the world , food come completely cold despite the kfc being empty so they have no excuse, the whole restaurant was full of rubbish all of he tables all over the floor get better hygiene eating in the streets , the chips lacked any flavour was so awful kinda put me off kfc for awhile so poor

Substandard in every way. Ordered and collected via drive through. More for the benefit of the management to ensure our feedback was absorbed and follow up action will be taken. Server wearing personal grubby clothes (all staff), feet up, on his mobile and listening to music through headphones. Couldn't initially hear us until worked out how to turn his volume down. We were an inconvenience. Order incorrect and overcooked, addressed at counter to be told "no it's not." Manager advised he was changing cooking oil in the morning and no further chicken would be cooked/served. It was! Prices certainly not reflected in (poor) quality and standard of food or service Food was substandard and we discarded/binned most on our return to home. Few words of advice: Ensure orders are completed and packed as ordered and paid for by the customer. We had items missing. Staff customer service training and social skills and general manners. Implement a mobile phone policy during working hours. Remind and/or implement a policy on staff uniform and hygiene and cleanliness. Recognising cooked/over cooked food and when oil needs changing. Ensuring food hygiene standards are met/exceeded. Take pride - Same (improved) standards wether this is your first or last order of the day. Customer service, ensuring orders correct and the quality and standard of food is what or exceeds what the customer is paying for and expects. Given the locality, we will be back but please be assured, we will challenge the above standards if they are not met again!

We ordered food via Deliveroo . Driver delivered in time. Our order number accurate, food inside the bag was not. Lots of missing items . Ruined our lunch experience. Never again from that place.

Popped in just before 10pm, due to close soon. One problem.....they had run out of chicken! How can a chicken shop run out of chicken? Guy on the till was great, we saw the funny side of it and popped out with some popcorn chicken!

This is a very generic KFC. The same you'll find in nearly every corner of the UK Main criticism is that the staff were completely overrun when I came in, with cars queuing around the block and inside half a dozen angry deliveroo drivers. It was announced they had run out of chicken and they'd need to cook some more which would take 10 or more minutes. My food was around 40minutes delayed. When I eventually collected it, the lad at the till acted like I had cussed him out when I asked if I could have my drink I had ordered as well. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. Personally I'll avoid visiting here and go to the branch in Marsh Barton in future as this was an uncomfortable affair and I feel sorry for the staff as they were getting rough treatment from increasingly angry deliveroo and just eat drivers

I feel dirty. This place is disgusting, ordered my food from the app to eat in, there were about 5 people in but every single table was filthy. The floor had food all over it and the tray my food came on had gunk all over the side. No one was cleaning but plenty of staff there.. if I were the franchisee, I'd be embarrassed.

Food is what you'd expect from a KFC, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the place is not kept tidy, I understand that it gets busy, but a clean seating area is all part of the satisfaction.

It's your typical fast food chain. Although I like buying their spicy chicken wings. This is one of my favourites, so I keep coming back.

Ordered wicked variety bucket through drive through and when I got home there were no hot wings in the bag. A warning to other customers to check orders thouroughly before driving home. Not a happy customer at all

Ordered on the self service, there was no receipt. Got my order home and I had 6 piece bucket not a 10 piece bucket. Been here before and should have known the service wasn't to be relied on. Would not recommend ordering food from here. The team working there seemed to have a number of issues with customer orders, it turned out mine was one too. I ended up paying for something I didn't get. With no receipt I've have no come back. It seems a straightforward thing to do, check there are receipt rolls in the machines. Perhaps not.

Always change your food because I think they can't count you pay for things and you never get and it's to pricey for wot you get now
