Quite possibly one of the best serviced KFC I have been to, a special note to the good service from the staff member Will, who made the impeccable service stand out quite so much. Food was great as always - can't complain!

The food tastes amazing and it came out hot and quickly. Will served me and he was friendly and easy to understand. Overall it was a good experience.

A bit of a scruffy dump but the meal was very hot and tasty and reasonably priced.

My zinger Burger is fresh and hot. And the new fries are really finger lickin good!!

Food was as good as usual just like other shops. My orders at this KFC have been good and hot. Sometimes the tables need a bit cleaning (although customers should really put the tray and rubbish to the bin), but overall the shop is clean!

Once a year whilst on holiday in the Ely area with my family who live there I go to KFC Ely. Two years ago they had run out of chicken! It was a week night at about 2130hrs which is I believe an hour before closing. This year, in August in the evening of a Monday night I ordered a bargain bucket. "We only have drumsticks" I was told. "The breast portions are more popular. I can give you some chicken bites with it" I was somewhat taken aback by this situation since KFC only sells chicken in some form and I'm guessing the bargain bucket is still popular. Why if the manager knows that people request breast portions more than a variety of portions, does she not compensate in her ordering? I was additionally told that an order was expected in 15 minutes and that I could wait. I elected to do that and 30 minutes later, not 15 as promised, my order arrived. I had been offered a free drink whilst I waited which I declined. I didn't see a delivery truck or van arrive but perhaps I missed that. I consider this very poor service on both occasions. The food was great as it should be. There is no atmosphere in the shop.

One member of staff this side of the kitchen on a Friday teatime.... She was great and managed to keep smiling despite being rushed off her feet. It took 15 mins or so to get our food and then it was wrong but this isn't her fault, it's yours for leaving her in this situation. Food was a mix of hot and cold, chips roasting, fillet pretty cold, Twister good temperature. Tables needed a clean but understandable that they were like this given the lack of staff.

Previously happy but lately something's been going wrong. We tried ordering online twice in the last couple of months. Both times the app declared our order "undeliverable" and the second time I would have been out of pocket if I hadn't complained.

Exceptional dining experience at this KFC and I got the food on time and especially got a great service from the staff Mr Eldho and very friendly and also food was mouthwatering……

We had received a very good service in KFC , staff member Chandu was so friendly and helpful. I appreciate the service and hard work of every colleague in KFC. The Manger is also very good who is looking after the staff and well managing the store. Thanks to everyone in KFC who is putting their efforts in satisfying the customers.

Not sure if I’ve ever received the correct, full meal. I usually avoid, and only go here when someone else wants it. KFC fries are terrible.

Multiple times they have messed up an order. Once they only gave me 2 pieces of chicken when there’s men to be 3 as well as giving me 2 pots of beans instead of 2 chips honestly the service is horrible how can you be this stupid

Smallest chicken wings I've seen so far

Be careful when ordering a zinger tower anything online from this KFC. We have never received a hash brown or cheese in our Zingers and the food was cold. When I called I was told it was ‘costly’!!! But when I order and pay for a Zinger I expect a Zinger! No refund was offered only the offer of extra food next time but surely that is costly! Won’t be ordering from this awful Ely KFC again online.

Very slow service. Ice cream machine broken and money not refunded. Food either way to hot or freezing cold. Decor is weird and feels too open. Staff have very poor hygiene, with kitchen staff not wearing gloves or any PPE. Everything looks greasy too. Very much do not recommend. Just go to McDonalds. It's much nicer.

Went in again recently, and they seem to have been listening to customer reviews - things are getting better - still some way to go but they have obviously made a big effort to improve their offering.

Of the fast food on offer at the Leisure Village, this KFC is better than the alternatives. Queue is usually ok, the drive through is pretty efficient and the food is as expected.

Its alright but nothing exceptional really. Slighly slow recieving orders and the staff seem to not know what they're properly but its decent enough for some quick grub and I've seen much worse. Its average.

The Ely KFC team have now taken to giving themselves fake 5 star reviews to increase the review score. Lies wont cover up this awful place!

Ely branch is in a completely different league to the March branch. Far better service.

Went because I'm originally from the US and thought...why not try the difference between the UK and US KFC. Normally I'm not a huge fast food person, but sometime you just need something for dinner quick. I've been to numerous KFC's growing up in the US. I have even visited the original KFC restaurant/museum in Corbin, Kentucky. There is always going to be differences when this chain goes international. Some items are different and some are the same. Chicken was good at this location and less greasy than in the US which was great. They didn't have coleslaw available when I went which was strange seen how KFC is known for not only their chicken but their slaw too. Staff working were kind and friendly. Now I can say that I visited once. Not entirely impressed but not disappointed either. Service was fast, staff was kind, food was just ok.

Good branch of KFC because it has fast service and staff is cooperative. Althought taste is same as other branches but I would recommend this branch due to fast service and less rushy area.

Went to KFC last week. It was a wonderful experience. Food was nicely cooked and served professionally. The signature fries were awesome... The staff was well trained.

This is the most useless KFC you will ever go to. Totally incompetent staff, you are almost guaranteed to get the wrong food. Talk about useless

Food very good but wait times can be long when there is not many people there.

They were having problems with order screens aa wi fi was playing up. Even though order was excepted after 15mins was informed they were having problems but still managed to serve drive thru and people who order 15mins after. Only after complaining did my order and lady who ordered 6min before me turn up. This was my first and last visit to this branch

Service is always slow here, regardless of how busy they are,chairs almost always on tables like they don't want you to stay! Orders are often wrong too.

Popped in today for lunch. Despite there being no other customers I had quite a lengthy wait for my food. The place looks untidy, the windows are filthy, and there's flies everywhere. Terribly depressing atmosphere. They've got the speaker from the drive through turned up so loud that you can hear everyone's order blaring across the restaurant. Food was lukewarm. Coke zero was warm and flat. The chicken was dreadfully overcooked and the so called "crispy skin" was very much akin to chewing on a brick. Dreadful place, no wonder it was empty. I certainly won't be returning.

Have had 10 chicken piece buckets here on numerous occasions today they wanted to charge per piece of chicken! I showed him on the app what I wanted he said they wouldn't do it that way would of cost alot more so I declined what has changed with this kfc never had any problems before.

Empty and depressing atmosphere, no music or customers. Slow service, and employees have nothing to do. Certainly not worth the journey or cost.

Food is incredibly expensive and toilets were dirty

This place is absolutely terrible. I ordered a meal with chips and first of all, I waited what felt like forever for my meal. Second of all, they forgot my chips in my order. Guess what they gave me as compensation? A fiver. Its ridiculous this place, do not recommend, if you want KFC, get KFC at another place. If I could, I would’ve rated it 0 stars

Iv stopped going. My last visit they changed the price twice, service and attitude was terrible. Have tried in the evening and often found them closed early. Food is dreadful, chicken tastes of chlorine, is very small and is badly cooked. Surely KFC check on their franchises, maybe not in Ely's case.

Yesterday the 19th I ordered some takeway food online on the KFC website, I waited for more than 50 minutes to be notified that the order was ready to be collected but that never happened. When I got to the store asking if my food was ready, they said they were not aware of the order as they claimed it did not even appear on their screen. I was charged over £30 for the food; the lady manager assured me I would be refunded within a few days in case the order did not appear on their system and she asked me to place the same order again with them in the shop, which I did but they completely mess it up as when I got home and opened my chicken burger box I realised my chicken was missing from the sandwich and also got gravy instead of the beans I had asked for. Because of the mistake made with my order, I returned to the store soon after, raised my complaint with the staff and the manager told me she would investigate the situation. In fairness to her, she did give me a new burger and some free chicken but this did not make it right as I had to pay for the food twice and had the night ruined. I will now also have wait a few days and hope to receive the refund from them, which I believe will be another nightmare. By the way, I had asked for a mighty bucket for one but my food was given to me in a bag instead and when I complained, the staff response was that most of their customers ask for the food to be in a bag. This doesn't make sense to me at all as I had asked a mighty bucket and therefore expected my food to be in a buck🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 This was my beautiful Saturday night. An order which meant to take about 20 minutes took almost 2 hours and I had to have my dinner after 9 instead of having an early Saturday one as planned. Very disappointed 😞 😔 😕 😪 😒 😑 😞 😔

Went through the drive thru for a Chicken Fillet burger today. Waited a long time, then when the food was finally ready, it was served by a very stressed member of staff. Then when eating the burger it was luke warm, like it had been sitting on the side for half an hour! It wasn't even busy, in fact it was quite quiet for a fast food restaurant. I won't be returning again, I'll be going to McDonald's instead!

Went in for lunch today, waited ages for the order, although I could clearly see the items I’d ordered on the rack. The girl serving seemed more interested in the drive through. When I received my order, the 2 pieces of chicken had obviously been cooked hours ago, luke warm and not at all crispy. We ordered 2 garlic dips but ended up having to share because only 1 was put in the bag. That also looked like it had been stored incorrectly as it had split. Think environmental health would have a field day in this place! I tried numerous times to contact the store to speak to a manager, but no one in there could be bothered to pick up the phone, same could not be bothered attitude towards serving people I guess. Will certainly never use this branch again.

Visited today after not doing so for a couple of years Chicken was hot but the skin was not crispy. The chips wern't very good either. No where near as crispy as they usually are. No hand wipes and no hot drinks. All in all really poor will not be back.

The slowest fast food you’ll ever experience. Check what you get before you leave as they consistently forget half of your order.

I've stop going here , travel to find closed most of the time or run out of stock. Then one trip cash only as card machine not working, Get home and find your order wrong . This is no reflection on the staff always smiling

Food was great, but the toilets left a lot to be desired. Someone had pooped on the rim of the toilet seat. Not really KFC's fault, more the fault of the disgusting person who did it.

If there was an option to give a -0 that would be my rating for the appalling service we received today. The worst customer service skills award goes to the young lady who served us, no real eye contact, attitude to her job was well below parr, was eventually served the wrong food, when we went back to the counter, she did not apologise at all, she remade the order without using tongs, then denied the fact that she hadn't used tongs, then we asked her to make it properly. No apology at any point. Will never go there again.

The door on the establishment was very difficult to open, however this did provide some amusement while eating inside, watching people struggle to open it. It was so heavy! The place was a mess. Quite a few things not available on the menu also. Staff friendly and fast service though.
