Food was good and staff patient when we turned up with a massive order

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at KFC Edinburgh - Hermiston Gait Retail Park while staying at the hotel next door. We were excited to try the festive stuffing stack, but they didn’t have it available, which was disappointing right from the start. The staff were blatantly rude and completely untrained, adding to the frustration. After ordering at the self-serve kiosk, which didn’t even give us a receipt, we opted for table service. When our food finally arrived, the order was incorrect. We had ordered two meals—a chicken stack box and a rice box—but the rice box arrived without rice! My girlfriend was understandably upset, and I brought this issue to the manager’s attention. What followed was appalling. The manager argued with me, smirked, and dismissed my concerns, claiming that I had ordered a “side” salad instead of a proper meal. This was absurd and clearly an attempt to brush off their mistake. Rather than escalating the situation, I ate my food in disbelief, as it was clear I couldn’t have an intelligent or professional conversation with this manager. This branch is an embarrassment to the KFC brand. Standards need to be thoroughly re-implemented, and staff require urgent training on both customer service and basic competence. I will be raising an official complaint, as this experience was truly unacceptable. Avoid this location if you value your time, money, or sanity!

It was difficult for pedestrians to get there. People risked getting there crossing the road like no zebra crossing there. Maybe convenient for people with vehicles but then Google maps was not working well there.

Stop by to get takeaway order placed my order…been waiting there for ages no one came at front desk to speak about my order. Left the place without getting the order. Absolutely horrendous lack of customer service. At least have some more staff to look out for customers rather then busy in work. Horrible place.

Google says open until 11pm and we pulled up at 10.08pm closed. Get it sorted

Food was cold, and I ordered 3 pieces of chicken which were all drumsticks. I certainly wouldn’t order from this branch again.

It was cold. I ordered drumsticks give cold soggy chicken breast. I ordered a can of 7-Up, give me a can of diet 7-Up. Got half a portion of chips and the chicken burger looks like a flat wing instead of an actual zinger burger. Waited for hours didn’t get a reply. Never mind an other burger of drumsticks! Poor service! No reply Either from KFC or just eat I would not be ordering again.

delivered wrong food! tried to contact Just Eat & also KFC Hermiston Gate and nobody was any use, your delivery drivers need to start properly looking when delivering as this isn't the first time I've had issues.

So drove a 15 minute detour on my way to sote to get some food and this hole left us standing outside for 10 minutes before pointing to a hastily printed sheet of paper that said closed. Don't use this shop. They don't care and might not be open.

Terrible Place Needs Proper Management

This was actually the tastiest KFC I've ever been to.

Food wasn’t great cold and the chips where hard , to the point you couldn’t even squeeze them they was that solid

Spent over £41 as my birthday treat, items missing. very disappointed, they tell you to complain to Just eat but the courier is not in the kitchen packing the food. Took it as a loss won't order online again.

Bought two meals for myself and my sister, spent £44. Got no strips, no mash potato's, no coen. Got two gravy instead, 8 wings 4 fries and 3 drumsticks that were hard as rocks! not even a dip.What an absolute joke. Ordering online seems to be too much for them to handle

The delivery man you sent call me with harsh turn yesterday just because he didn’t get the location , and when he finally got to my place , he was rude to my wife and so harsh with his impolite statement without even greeting .

Too many cooks and the service suffers confusion is the main problem as staff can't work out the orders

Delivery terrible and missing a can of juice, which may not seem a lot but when you’ve ordered food before going into a meeting you expect to get everything you’ve ordered especially as it’s part of the deal you’ve ordered.

Went in this afternoon to get some quick food for my daughter. Restaurant wasn’t busy as l was the only person ordering from the screen, other customers were already eating. There were abt at 6 staff members standing there chatting to a colleague who has clearly come in on her day off for food. They totally ignored me as a customer, after waiting for 5mins l asked where my food was, they had placed the food on the countertop and chatting away and never called my order number. I was standing right infront of the counter so l would have heard them if they had even bothered. When l asked why they never called my number, they looked annoyed and just laughed at me. Pick up my food and left, never going back, kfc has really gone down hill.

If you are going to ask for a four-digit code, you are going to have to change your business model and start employing couriers with rudimentary English language skills, such as knowing the numbers zero to nine.

Just want to give a big mention to guy behind the counter I think his name is Vialli. There was a lot going on in the store and he took his time with an older couple infront of me. Explained everything clearly, looked after them and helped carry their order to the table. Exemplary service. He deserves recognition for his attitude! Incredible man.

Driver stood outside hotel where I work I was unable to leave desk but he never came in hotel or even called to say he had arrived then drove off with my food then marked on the app it was delivered and it definitely was not - won’t order again

What an absolutely disgusting place. Went in for dinner the tables and floors were filthy and the toilets look like they haven't been cleaned in months will not be back absolutely shocking the standard that they think is acceptable.

We popped in here after leaving the park and ride Edinburgh en route to Tummel Bridge . Service was really good , especially as I was slow at ordering as we couldn't decide what we wanted.( there was 7 of us) There wasn't a long wait for food, and when it came out, it was piping hot. Yes, we ate in the car in the car park . I would definitely choose this KFC again if I was nearby at a future date .

We had a bad experience with the Asian bloke- Indian national I guess, we arrived at the restaurant before 10pm and we ask the staff whose cleaning that time if we still allowed to dine in and he said yes however this other guy whose serving the food told my son that it’s for take away and we’re not allowed to eat inside, I just ignore my son when he told me because I knew we’re still have time to eat and I ask the other staff before I ordered the food, but this guy make a sign language to us to leave while my kids are eating I am so disappointed of the behaviour of that staff, he is rude and inconsiderate. I hope you will train him more to be better.

KFC did not enclose the garlic mayo I ordered. Other than that, my order was excellent.

The worst KFC I have ever had! Stayed at Edinburgh Novotel Park Hotel with my family and unfortunately had the KFC as our welcome food. Chicken looked like it’d been fried over and over due to no one buying it. It tasted horrible! Pepsi for kids tasted if water and not Pepsi as it had more water than Pepsi when I opened it. Went to change it and even from the look of it my wife said she was not eating. I would not recommend to anyone! Avoid it at all cost and make a cup of tea if need be. Absolute waste of money and time! Place is not tidy. Had to clean the table and chairs ourselves before sitting as kids even refused to sit.

Food is great, but never get a complete order.

I used to order from here every week until a few months back because there was always something missing ie. dip or popcorn that's supposed to be in the boneless bucket - but I thought I'll give it a try worst decision 😕 popcorn was missing & the supercharger dip ..disgusted.!! I'll stick with Pepe's it's better chicken anyway..

Came in just before they had to close. Was takeaway only that was understandable. Food was piping hot and tasty. All the staff looked exhausted apart from the taller lady who looked very ecstatic (manager?) First time. Will definitely come back at a more sociable hour soon!

As soon as you order one minute later you will have the order and the chicken 🐔 tastes great 👍

Driver turned up with someone else's order and then after I refused it, he set the order to delivered and I have now got to go through a 48hr refund to get my money back plus having to reorder the meal. To add to it, the help page for the order is near useless, no way to speak to a human at either the restaurant or just eat to resolve the issue.

Avoid ordering delivery! After a 90 minute wait, received notification saying it had been delivered which it hadn't. Tried calling restaurant repeatedly, phone line down apparently. Had to walk in pouring rain with child to try sort out. Spoke with manager who stated the delivery service is separate so they had no way of tracking where our order was. They refused to replace the order as has to be done via justeat so had to pay more money to get the food in store. Food was such poor quality too

Items missing also random items we didn’t ask for a random hash brown in a flaming wrap and also all food was cold. Total waste of money and no answer when we tried to call either.

Went through the drive thru there was no salad and no tango. Then there was one drink missing from the order and the bottom of the cup holder fell out making me drop a drink! Not very happy with service.

I'm very unhappy with my order as it took 2 hours to come and it was absolutely freezing my juice was warm also i request a refund through ur help section yesterday dated 09/07/24 and was told id get the money credited back to my just eat account which i've came onto the app today to see i only have £5.99 credit which isn't even half the price of my meal i want a full refund of my meal as it was freezing n took 2 HOURS to come, i don't want account credit i want the cash refunded to my bank!!!

Ordering in the app doesn't work. Paying order on the website without success. Ordered at the drive thru, order has been repeated back to me, still got something else then ordered. In a cup of Pepsi has been more water than actual pepsi so it went down the drain and I opened my bottle of pepsi. Can't compare it.

Arrived very quickly given how far away. That was great, but cold by time it got here, so had to heat in microwave. In fairness a 10 minute journey, but was it in an insulated container?

Delivery driver was first class 👌 but order wasn't exactly what I ordered! I asked, specifically for 6 Drumsticks but only recieved 4, with to disliked, wing's! After talking to the restaurant!
