KFC Dumfries - Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park in Dumfries & Galloway

15:30 Monday 16th September.. Our server was utterly flat, appearing like every request was a hassle, no thanks or even a hint of a smile, I felt really uneasy and wanted to leave, but I'd paid already, I will not be back to this store, terrible way to be in a customer service roll.

Nearly 10 minutes to place an order and it wasn't busy

Our thanks to Lana for her superb assistance. We are tired and hungry 😫 Lana was so sweet and helpful couldn't ask for more, wish all the staff were like her. Had on previous had some really unfriendly service.

the woman who ran things that day was very efficient, although they definitely need more ordering machines.

Having wait 15 in the drive through only to be told they have no chicken cooked and I need to wait another 30 minutes, no alternative was offered what joke of a place

Can't fault it, you know what you get before you go in.

We visited the Dumfries store today and got served by the store manager Adam. Nothing was a problem for him, even with my fussy child! Can’t wait to go back.

I have been to plenty of KFC. I fully enjoyed my food nice and fresh! Didn’t have to wait to long. Cafe was really clean and not too cold for sitting in. Would definitely recommend if passing by

Chips were a bit minging, my feet stuck to the floor, table was dirty, but it was soo busy and understaffed it seemed. Staff that were on were excellent, friendly helpful and as fast as a human can be. After today's visit to refresh our memories won't go back, spent £60 on 4 of us, floors the same, drinks were ok, 3/4 said chips were raw, 1 enjoyed his meal, 2 had a share bucket half of which was wasted. And I had a rice box, with a very sour sauce, I wasn't sure if it was off or just sour. Half the box was lettuce, other was rice. Chicken was a little fatty. Machine didn't give receipt, so I spent 5 minutes standing at empty tills being ignored to find out if it had worked, though the meal was being made thankfully. Won't return, the staff are miserable.

Always go to drive through as it’s much quicker.

Piping hot fresh food, friendly service.

Food was average. The drinks though where disgusting. Tepid, flat Pepsi was served. When I said to server they just looked at me with no offer to replace. I will never be back.

The food is always to die for. The staff are always friendly and helping. Plus we didn't wait long for our food. So bonus!

Very poor service and staff where rude and very disgusting my order was wrong and when I told them there answer was u just take what is given I asked for three pieces chicken no leges please and she gave me three legs ..horrible I will never be back here ever .and I will be telling all my friends and family to stay away .

Regardless of the controversy surrounding KFC's long history of animal welfare concerns, the food is very well prepped and served by a very friendly, hardworking & inspiring young team.

Awful KFC. Shockingly understaffed. Who thought that putting the order terminal right by the door was a good idea? Chicken a bit cold for your burger? Don't worry, just put a hot hash brown on it. I won't be returning.

As KFCs go, it was fine. Clean and tidy. Quiet, so food was quickly delivered. Staff seemed a bit disinterested, perhaps it’s been a long shift. Food was tasty as expected. Gravy still the best !

Staying up the road in a hotel passed the Kentucky on way, popped in and had the best chicken fillet meal I’ve had in ages my wife said the same thing. Really nice fillet tower box meal with hot wings and all I can say is the food and the service was excellent staff updated customers about there order and the place was spotless with the tables being cleaned on a regular basis Well managed and good team work, there’s a lot of effort going in to get the food and service to a high standard Thank you

Be careful - they try to get rid of the not so popular chicken leftovers and when you order drumsticks they will put any other part of chicken except for drumsticks without warning you There must be a clear indication that if you order drumsticks, you will get anything else but them - it would help people decide what to order because one can get random chicken pieces elsewhere, not at KFC which is famous for its spicy chicken wings and drumsticks The area is not very clean and there are toothless people that seem like junkies but I guess it’s just the population of Dumfries

Went in at around half 6 and it was quiet so this is going off that experience Was really quick to get our order from screen to table. The app is useful too. Staff were friendly and attentive too Only gripe I gave is the price to portion ratio. Can't ever justify it but that's unfortunately the times we live now So yeah overall was good Not outstanding by any means but definitely worthy of a 4 star 👌

If I had know I would have used member vouchers and offers here yesterday but it said my local KFC was gretna. I have to travel to dumfries or carlisle to use them.

Each time I’ve eaten here the food has been spot on, the one thing that needs majorly improved is the cleanliness!

A negative review folks but have no choice. Service and Customer Satisfaction very poor. To be honest do not blame the staff more so the people running the franchise. This could be a gold mine if managed properly.

I was rather disappointed with what we got from there, we normally buy party bucket and usually we get nice pieces of chicken. Kfc in Dumfries didn't perform very well. Staff was capable and efficient, but... When I lifted the bag out of the car, there was a puddle of grease left behind, but isn't really a big problem. What really annoyed me ware chicken pieces. Out of 14 pieces, only one was a drumstick and most of them were ribcages and wingtips. We spent most of the time picking bones out, trying to find some meat because it was simply too dangerous to allow our children to eat the meat of the bone.

Good service, maybe sometimes you need to wait a bit longer, but it is a bit cheaper then on the motorway in Gretna for example. Class: fast food: no reason to complain, Good opinion because: time of waiting usually low, price, better than on a motorway. Some of the staff is just starting adventure with costumer service so they are extra polite:)

Kfc at Dumfries is an excellent branch, the staff are always helpful and friendly, the food is always as you would expect from a KFC gorgeous and piping hot, you can eat inside, outside, takeaway or the drive thru.

Food good and very quick, some KFC food I've had has been quite dry and tired, but this was moist and fresh. Really pleasant, friendly staff, she even seemed to enjoy her job.

Chickin lickin tasty. If you like chicken it's perfect. If you don't like chicken it is not so perfect. But if you can't guess by the name that it sells Kentucky Fried Chicken then you may even accidentally order and eat it without even knowing it was chicken. Either way, you will love it.

Shayne and Chloe F behind the counter. We stood for 10 minutes to no avail. Upon calling over the supervisor she explained that she had notified the till staff NOT to serve till customers because they weren't priority but we could instead use the Kiosk, which would've put us at the back of the queue or the drive thru, again back of queue so a pointless exercise. Suddenly there was availability to serve us at the till just that second! Once ordered it took little more than 3 mins for the meals to arrive. Just seems every time you go in to KFC Dumfries they find any possible way to take as long as possible to do anything. Urge you to expect some form of delay, or save the agro and just order elsewhere

Small restaurant with only one terminal to order at so a queue can form easily for ordering. Food was fresh and quickly prepared order was also correct the first time which can be a struggle for other branches of this popular chain.

We arrived half hour before closing so it was quiet (just us) and staff were cleaning around us, order got a little muddled but nothing we couldn't sort at the table. A young chap also offered to clear our table for us when we were leaving. Pleasant experience over all.

I was eating in today and I notice for a one floor was a state tables were messy we got our food and we were fine until a man came out and emptied the bins but went right back to making food without washing his hands we then tried to speak to a manager first time he ignored us and then finally got his attention he didn’t seem to care and the toilets were disgusting. Bonus though the food was half decent.

Stopped off for some supper, had a short wait but we could see they were very busy. Placed our order to sit in and after less than 5 minutes the nice member of staff brought our food to the table! Thanked us for being patient and made sure we had all we needed. The food was hot and excellent best KFC we have had in ages. Will definitely be going again when we're in the area.

Havnt been here for a very long time. Asked to wait a couple of minutes for chips. Equalled 16 minutes sat in the car park. Food cold an soggy order wasn't quite right. Lady at drive through was polite but they all seemed really panicked and having a conversation with the window open about if I should be parked up or not. Won't be bothering again anytime soon.

Food was good but back ground music was a bit to loud they could do with automatic door leading to toilets foe disabled customers as not very good for wheelchair users same as disabled toilet uouvcant open door and stay open with 1 hand

No toilet roll in one of the toilets, which is an inconvenience in any girls bathroom. Very little in the other one. Chips were sitting waiting for the rest of the meal to be prepared, then served cold had to ask for new ones. Drinks machine gas was switched off served flat warm juice, had ask for new ones aswell. Staff don't seem any way sympathetic towards this, switched on but nobody was home I think. Feel sorry for girl serving having to put up with all the issue whilst manager stood and watched when he could have stepped in and been bit more up to life and explained the issues and been more apologetic. Just stood there and watched.

Sadly no eat in option and the discount voucher couldn't be accepted on the till. I have had several issues with my order in the past visits with missing items. Food quality has been good though. KFC now open for sit-in.

Just arrived at KFC in Dumfries alongside 4 other people who walked in to be served and were told to leave because “they are too busy to serve us just now”. Absolutely ridiculous statement from a fast food outlet.

Hit or miss. 2weeks ago I was in . Chicken fillet burger . Fillet was dry around the edges . Had a extra piece of chicken . Wish I had not . Very gresy

Where do I start with KFC Dumfries, the food is tasty I admit, but I will list all the problems, it is run by highschool leavers who have little to no idea what they are doing, half of them sit on their phones or chatting to others, they take far too long to prepare a meal, they are always running out of products because they don't think to order more before they run out, there is not one single RESPONSIBLE adult anywhere, I can honestly see why McDonald's get all the customers at least McDonald's are fast, good, efficient and have knowledgeable staff who are capable of their job, such a shame for KFC

The prices seem to have went up. Where is the Pepsi? If I wanted to eat and drink healthy, I wouldn't be here! Diet Pepsi or Pepsi max only! No ice cream!

My first visit to the Dumfries branch and my experience was positive. The premises were clean, the food was delicious and hot and the staff were friendly and professional.

In this location I witnessed Kelsey (Team member) hurl abuse to customers and delivery drivers, as well as swearing at people whilst on shift behind the counter giving people pure n utter attitude as well as the manager giving attitude and being extremely rude towards customers and drivers, multiple people have mentioned this. Also the wait time for a simple burger was 1 hour

From the outside looked Grubby Never went inside Food was ok

Quick service, freshly cooked, friendly staff. Definitely one of the best I've been to.
