KFC Derby - Pride Park in Derby

Went with my mum and son yesterday afternoon, and all of us have been very unwell with myself and my son the worst , we both had a zinger fillets, mine was in a salad and my mum had the 3 piece colonels meal, never 💩 so much in my life and the pain is unbearable. Can’t stop Vomiting Il never eat there again, either something wasnt cooked enough or someone didn’t wash their hands after they been loo. 48 hours in and myself and my son and my mum are still very poorly! Never again! Going to report to environmental health! This place needs looking in to. I wish we read ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE WE ATE HERE! Food poisoning seems to be the norm here! 😡. Update: 4 days in now and still 💩 like hell. 😡

Service on this occasion for a collection order. Was relatively quick. However, whilst awaiting for my order at the pick up window, I had seen 3 adult rats run from the grassy verge towards the restaurant. Questioning the control measurement for their wastage and management for rodent.

Service thought unacceptably slow, brings you the usual KFC experience. Cleanliness needs significant improvement in table clearing and the toilet facilities. Sitting in may arguably be a worse experience than the drive through.

Pulled up to order and there's 4 rats there chilling with chicken wings absolutely rank sort your shit out

Fast food?! I could have cooked the chicken myself! Wednesday night, 1 person ahead of us, waiting for 15 minutes after our app order at the window to collect our food. Looked inside, no customers, loads of staff just chatting. Not the first time this has happened. Annoyed this is our local KFC. Will just go to McDonald's next time.

Food always good, problem was waiting to use the machine to order food as only 2, couldn't order at counter as they said cash only with lots of signs also stating that. Few tables not cleaned. Once we got our food all okay.

I visited this branch on Saturday evening for a quick snack. The chicken had either been cremated during its deep frying process or it had stood since lunchtime. It was absolutely awful. Never again.

Well where to start. neither of the burgers ordered had salad or sauce. were meant to be Zinger burgers and were normal fillets. the chips were cold and the gravy was luke warm. complained to Just Eat and awaiting a response. The delivery driver was excellent however.

2 hours and never got it said delivered and it never came

order was delivered and for the 2nd time recently it was wrong. Didn't mind eating what they actually sent but that's a bit irrelevant, I ordered what I ordered because that's what we wanted. If it had not been available, that should have been stated. Disappointed again by KFC.

It's all just mid it's exactly what you expect from a fast food. The staff can't be faulted they working in a fast paced environment so they don't have time to stand and have a chat with you

This particular KFC is n ot a good place for chilling and having a nice time. They are interested in taking your money for food and ripping you off via parking charge notices. Don't bother discussing issues with customer service as this is likely to be futile. My experience with KFC in other places has been nice.

We visited at 22.30 last Wednesday. Though the restaurant lights were on, all the Car Park lights were off, whether because of a fault or the staff trying to discourage late customers............? The Drive-Thru menu boards were also not lit, and so unreadable. Because they were unlit, I assumed they had closed, so I drove past the ordering point. We drove round the corner to drive out the exit, but there was a car at the food collection window, waiting for their order. When it drove to the exit, I drove to that collection window, and asked the staff member if they were still open, and if so can I order from him as all the lights were off outside the restaurant? He said no, I have to drive all the way round to the darkened ordering point again, and try ordering from the staff member, from off my partners phone app. Our first two requests were refused as apparently they had run out, though we did get some food eventually. We were then told we couldn't pay by touch. Fortunately, we had our debit card. Then this negative experience continued, I had been given no napkins, condiments, or sauces, and I had no cutlery of ANY kind to eat my side of Coleslaw. Like the few other drive thru customers at the same time as us, we sat in the unlit car park to eat our food. All in all, a very awful experience. We love KFC food, but do not recommend visiting this particular restaurant.

I can't fathom out why KFC fry's are so bad always soggy

It's a typical KFC, and the food is what you would expect from a KFC franchise. However, the staff are slow, not that helpful, and would probably score as average on the professional scale of things. The facilities are good, it easy to get too, has plenty of parking, they have full disabled facilities, entrance, parking and toilets. Would I go here again, probably not, I think I would drive until I found a different branch.

I am disappointed to note that delivery of food was put on the pavement. Deliverer can not be patient a minute to hand my food to me. People are spitting on the street and who wants their food bag dropped there. so disappointed. For people staying in enclosed houses with private space I guess that is alright but for us in terraced houses this is pathetic indeed.

It’s certainly been a long time since KFC cooked the food that well, but tonight i have to say it was excellent! As well as that, it was hot, keep it up.

Went here at 1pm on friday 12th april. Needed toilet so popped there 1st, and they were dirty, and needed a good scrub. Thdn i went to counter to order. One woman and one guy serving. They were packing food bags, shouting order numbers etc. And in 5 mins of me standing there they both mustve turned to the counter 3 or 4 times each. Not one if then even said ...will be with you in a moment, or even smiled to acknowledge i was there. I said to the woman, great customer service, and she sarcastically replied thank you, as i turned to walk out. If i did that at a customer faced job i jad a while back id have been sacked, no hesitation

The KFC food we have been enjoying as a family for over 26 years doesn't seem yo be served in this particular KFC restaurant! It doesnt taste like the KFC "Finger Licking!" we used to enjoy. My son who has been bought up on KFC said the same. This needs to be investigated by KFC otherwise you will lose valued customers!

The second time we stopped on the way to eat. Twice we had to wait a long time for the order, half an hour or more. In the end, they brought us the wrong order. in the end we waited again. 2 times we are not happy with the staff we have to wait and constantly make mistakes

Popped in to get takeaway and got home to find 10 peice variety bucket consisted of 7 drumsticks????? 1 more and it could of come from a octichicken???? If i had not been far away it would have gone back, seemed too eager to sort takeaway couriers. wont go back there again and you would think a 10 piece variety box would consist of some variety, KFC maybe want to rename it the drumstick box 🙄

Place is filthy with food on the floor and tables, the service was very slow and then the chips came out cold. 2/4 orders where wrong. Just go Popeye's, much tastier and better portions

Food is tasty for the price, we mainly order online and on two occasions they forgot to put in our cookie, which we obviously had paid for. My 8 year old son loves the flamin mini wrap.

Not a bad place, it does what you'd expect to the standard level. The service was very friendly, but the place was virtually empty on a very wet Sunday so I can only mark the atmosphere as average. I've had KFC take aways, but this was the first time I've eaten in at a KFC so I wasn't aware that they don't sell hot drinks. This, coupled with the seriously weak peach tea, and barbecue sauce that was pretty awful will send me elsewhere next time or I'll eat at home with a cuppa and decent sauces. KFC's actuality doesn't match the hype I'm afraid. Still great chicken though.

Convenient location is just about the only benefit, it is an absolute pig sty, I have seen cleaner toilets in petrol stations than the floor in the main dining area here, please see my pictures for reference. Massively overstaffed with many stood doing nothing while the floors, tables and so on are just minging, it is unbelievably dirty. Unfortunately I can't comment on the toilets because I was simply too scared to go in there based on the dining area. The worst bit was it was so quiet because they should have had more than enough time to clean the area. There are beans on random tables and what I can only assume is Pepsi on the floor because it's pee coloured, can't imagine what the kitchen is like. One can only assume it is like ratatouille in there🤢🤮. A health inspection would have this place shut. There was not a single clean table.

Took nearly 2 hours from ordering for food to arrive. I don’t think it’s the restaurants fault, I’m assuming it’s down to lack of drivers, so Just Eat’s fault, but the app says to leave a review if unhappy with delivery time

Haven’t had a KFC for a while so fancied one last night and it was lovely, I don’t know what you’ve done to the chips but they were lush! Loving the new seasoning on them as before they were plain and not so nice but they are now, chicken was hot and arrived on time, sorted me right out thankyou

only thing that was remotely warm was the gravey in the boneless banquet meal everything else was cold. Burger looked slapped together next to no lettuce. service gets 3 stars simply because the delivery driver was polite.

I Thought it might be 3rd time lucky to see if they might get a delivery correct just once but no, wrong again. Rang the restaurant to be told the only thing they could do is get it ready for me to collect. What? That's the whole point of me having a delivery. Have to apply to Just Eat for a refund again. Always the same KFC. Can't comment on the food because a chunk of it didn't arrive

Food was ok but got our order wrong it was soon sorted out quickly which I appreciate and thankyou. What I do dislike about KFC at Pride Park is that all the delivery people, uber eats, just eat etc just seem to loiter on the front desk leaning over showing mobile orders to staff, placing dirty delivery bags on the counter where food is placed they get in the way acting like they're priority before anyone else thats ordered before them, it's a real nuisance in my opinion and something needs to be put in place.

That is the worst food ever from a KFC, chips were hard, brown in colour and felt like reheats totally unacceptable. The chicken bucket had 7 legs and 3 thighs, where was the breast ? Totally disgusting from a KFC, need to now speak with their head office.

One of those places the customer is the least important person in the place. One person on the til, if you're lucky. 6 or 7 others roaming about. Its supposed to be fast food but not here it ain't.

£40 order never even arrived even said driver delivered but didn't phoned and was told six other people hadn't had there orders neither disgusting service

Ordered on uber eats, a 8 pc dipping boneless feast and waited 1 hour for it to arrive with 2 different drivers and it came like warm at best if not cold and the driver had said it was ready ages ago but they hadn't handed it to him. Prior to me receiving it I had called 3-4 times to check the status and I got no answer. Pretty poor. (Edit)-just checked reciept, it was due at 13:11 and I recieved it roughly about 14:28 Order no c1c81 on 1st January 2024
