KFC Darlington - Yarm Road in Darlington

Haven't been inside but I use the drive thru and have deliveries. Always served quickly. Not had any problems. Happy with the food received. Staff have always been polite.

order came on time, although some of the items were wrong. Mistake was quickly rectified and we could enjoy our meal.

First time ever eating in at a KFC and it was great. The service was super quick the staff were friendly and the food is yummy. Although I don't eat chicken on the bone KFC now has lots of boneless options to choose from. I highly recommend the £2.99 snack box. Now onto the things I didn't like, firstly there is no music in the restaurant so it made it feel quite unwelcoming and quiet. I ordered via the app which took ages to setup before I could do my first order, then I actually won two hot chicken wings. I tried to order via the app, but it wouldn't let me just order the wings I had to spend at least 99p, so I decided to try the screens in the restaurant, this time it wouldn't let me use the code unless made any order. I finally went to the counter and the guy on the counter was excellent, put the order through and brought it to the table, excellent service. Shame about the app.

Missing items waste of time dont trust

Missing popcorn chicken, took a long time to get here, not very hot.

To many children a very noise....two grups in 40 min time....quick service....

my order on the app said it had been delivered but my order didn't turn up

KFC chicken pieces and chips arrived warm and tasty. Soon it was all gone.

so ordered for delivery at 4pm to get it at 5:20pm which it didn't so I was left waiting and lone behold it turned up 30min late if you pre order for a set time then it should be on time not 30mins late

Never answer the phone, customer service isn’t the best at all. All I wanted was to order a dip with my food because I forgot to add it on but they kept hanging up and not answering! Why even have a phone if you literally refuse to answer it

Getting fed up of having missing items from orders! Having to complain every time I place an order about missing items. Surely the restaurants can't make this many mistakes

make sure you check your food before you drive off because there's good chance something is missing. Also recently we ordered a large gravy with our meals and it was baked beans instead..

What a shocking place. 1 person serving is ridiculous. Tables and floors covered in rubbish and food. 25 minutes to wait for an order is unacceptable. I'm guessing the online delivery market has ruined fast food. Also don't understand the need for loud dance music. It's not a gym or a nightclub! Updated 4th May 24. am not happy with my delivery. food was late and was missing 10 pieces of hot wings .I bought 2×10 pieces of hot wing meal as i was home with a friend .only received 1, which we have to share .i need a refund for the 10 pieces of chicken .bad service .

The driver was awesome and very apologetic but my order was missing the hot wings and the mini fillets so I essentially paid 12 pound for 2 pieces of chicken and half a bag of chips also the gravy that I paid 2.99 for did not come. Disgusting service should be ashamed.

Didn't help at all when we encountered a problem with our collection . A member of staff spoke to my 14 year old daughter like she was a piece of rubbish. Lady manager at time was no better in helping .. still awaiting money back from order that was placed and never received

KFC is amazing! I love this place. Food is amazing, service is amazing and the chicken is really finger licking good! Only problem is the price but I don’t mind paying that every once in a while. Sublime!

1st time visit to this particular KFC in Darlington. Arrived 8.30pm on a Friday evening and there was only another 4 young folks in sitting for a meal. We ordered food at the touch screen and took our seats. Within a few minutes our food was ready. The chicken and chips were both hot and tasty. I hardly eat KFC but the price for two meals was £22 which was OK and average I'm informed. The staff were polite and helpful. The restaurant was fresh and clean.

My food took 2 hours to come and when it eventually arrived it was missing a regular popcorn chicken that was on the order.

We ordered a family feast . They are selling less than the weight charged for in this KFC branch. i think The KFC is accused of sell short weighting food . There is not anyone as a manager there who can handle the situation . All staff were teenager and under age . The staff didnt know what they were doing . It was worst customer service and experience i ever had in UK. There was 3 or 4 small piece of chicken Wing in 10piece family feast 😄. Is it really fair? Is it really called family feast ?? 👏 it is exaclly cheating people . Thats why KFC rate is below 3.3 star everywhere in UK . Hope every one stop buying food from KFC . #KFC stop selling shortweight food

I watched the driver on the map drive all around darlington when I am less than a mile away from KFC. What was the point in this? It made my food late, my kids cry, and the chicken go cold and unenjoyable. Very disappointed as I am a regular user of Just Eat but if this is the service then I will reconsider my future choices.

I walked in and wanted to walk back out again, it was that horrible. Even when you look past the chav city of the place, people didnt know where to queue to start with. Stations for supplies were empty. There was only 1 person on tills and collection services and she obviously was doing too much during a busy period. Busy periods it is just common sense to have more than one person on - terrible management. During waiting I had to go to the toilet so left my tween in line with cash and she was even told there was nothing available for her to buy that she wanted. While in the toilet the floors were wet with puddles and wet tissue everywhere, even a pair of wet socks. When we walked in it was trashy enough everywhere but this is obviously poor management and poor training. I wanted to turn around as soon as I walked tbh but gave it a chance and was just left with a family shocked and disgraced.

Ordered at 18.26 food arrived 20.24 originally due 18.59-19.10. Time kept getting pushed back the last time I received was 19.50. Tried calling "restaurant" who would answer then hang up. When food arrived it was stone cold and inedible.

Sadly the prices have increased by 30%-50% for what appears less food.Sadly one table was still missing/broken . The staff were polite and helpful so i cant fault the staff .But its a shame as it was empty even with lots of shoppers in the retail park.But another local fast food outlet near by was full.
