I ordered a stuffing stacker burger meal with no lettuce and no cheese with a can of Pepsi max at 3.09pm. Food turned up close to 5.30pm, no stuffing in it, but at least the lettuce and cheese were there. It was also freezing cold. Luckily it came with a can of orange tango to wash it down with. Not impressed. Zero stars not available.

Absolutely disgusted. Paid for items on there, for them not to be delivered, when I phoned to ask they told me they couldn’t deliver them and I would have to go through the app for a refund. Chips were soggy and sent wrong item. Wouldn’t recommend!!!

Waited ages for my food, staff running wild, on their phones etc. in the food prep area, eventually my food came and chicken was dry and generally fit for the bin. No surprise that I was the only customer there at 5pm

there is no reason this should have taken over an hour to get to me, and so cold I would have assumed it was recently defrosted if I had no sense.

No resipes Man working the front counter was extremely unhygienic, extremely long greasy hair, witch was not keep in a hair net. He kept wiping his unloved hands into his sweat staind shirt. The employee in the back preparing the food where also not wearing gloves and touching our food with her bare hands, her nails where also too long to meet the health and safety standards required by all food establishments. When we inquired about our order the employee was very rude to my mother. He said they couldn't make it any quicker but all customers who ordered before and after us where served, we only received our food when the restaurant was completely empty. This is somewhere we vist around once a week, though after this experience I don't think that we will return.

The food was delivered on time but missing items and was freezing cold. For an expensive order I would’ve appreciated a little more care with the food.

It's always busy and food takes ages. The tables are dirty and every time I've gone through the drive through they forget food. Seems to be young kids working all the time with not great management unfortunately.

My written request was for a thigh and a leg. I specified that I don’t like any other cuts. Unfortunately, this wasn’t granted. I have tried frequently to call KFC Nantgarw, prior to ordering to ensure those pieces are available but they don’t answer the phone, hence KFC lose my business.

Total rip off. Ordered a 6 piece wicked variety bucket and received 6 drumsticks. What an absolute con job. I will never be ordering KFC again.

There’s always something missing or wrong with the orders for this place. I’m not usually one to moan as I understand these things can happen. I think out of five orders though something has been wrong with 4. It’s just carelessness

Got given a bbq wrap that was frozen so that didn't go down well, then watching a young girl ram 10 pieces of chicken in a small box that would not fit. She had no gloves on so food hygiene was simple not there, or the boy working with her. so I've informed my lot to get ready for food poisoning from this place as the hygiene is so wrong and the workers obviously don't care about customer's food.

I like the athmosphere in this branch: always full of teenagers, makes me feel young again. The staff is very helpfull and tables always clean.

the delivery time was so quick but i ordered 3 boneless banquet and none them came with gravy i called kfc and they said to go thru just eat but i don’t want a refund i wanted my gravy im not being funny since when does kfc not remember gravy

Stopped off to get some quick "food" with my son after a day out on the evening of Fri 20 Sep 24. Decided to go here, rather than Macs across the road as we hadn't had KFC for a long time and used to enjoy. Ordered a wrap meal and a boneless banquet with extra piece of chicken...came to £23 which was a shock in itself as last time we came 18 months ago, the boneless banquet was approx. £7 not £10. Way more expensive than macs but doesn't bother me if the food is good quality however : Don't really need to describe the sorry state of food that greeted us when we opened it when we got home, take a look at the picture, SHOCKING! Half of it went in the bin. I would be surprised if this place is still open this time next year. Incidentally, it was dead quiet , whereas the macs across the road was packed...go figure! Feel sorry for the staff at front desk who tried their best. Update: As i cannot reply to the owner reply, i want to point out that judging by the previous reviews, this has been happening for a long time, and is not a one off. I have raised the complaint further and whilst doing so, i noticed the pricing i paid was different to the main KFC website page which stated £7.37? very strange?

20 mins late false advertisement on how long the food takes shocking

I placed the order at 18.34 and was advised a 10 minute wait (hence why i placed the order) it took over an hour to arrive 19.45 by the time it did it was cold - the delivery driver was supposedly at the restaurant since just before 19.00 - not happy

Staff were lovely who was serving customers on FC today at 8:20ish, but front lobby was full of rubbish. Food was horrible and wish I could go back to get a refund! Ordered a boneless banquet, zinger stacker box meal, zinger meal and 2x popcorn chicken snack boxes for me and my friends. The snack boxes were half full, all of our chips were really cold after 5 mins, so was the food bar the zinger meal. Our snack boxes were barely full and our popcorn chicken with the box meals were half full, chips were unseasoned like eating tissue paper. The lettuce in the zinger burgers looked to be gone off as they were acc going light brown. The staff themselves were lovely but whoever was making food did them terrible!

Called in here earlier this week and now I don't believe in chicken anymore... I popped in around 6 o'clock in the evening with the plan of grabbing a quick bite to eat before catching a film with my family and first impressions should have tipped me off. Most of the tables still had wrappers and trays from the previous diners, so obviously no staff were available to tidy up, which is not a big deal or unusual in a really busy restaurant, but at that time there was only a few customers in the restaurant, so small alarm bells. We ordered at the kiosk as suggested by all the signs and once ordered and paid, the machine didn't dispense a receipt because it needed a new till roll and obviously no one was available to change it, so clearly they'd been short staffed for some time. Bigger alarm bells now. None the less, we'd paid at this point and so there's no turning back now. I suggested my family find a nice place to sit outside since it was a lovely sunny evening (and there really wasn't anywhere clean to sit inside anyway) and I'll wait for the food... And wait I did. Much wait. So many waits. All of the waits. I conversed with one diner who was already stood at the counter and his opening remark was something like "I hope you have more luck than me!" to which I replied "have you been waiting long then?" to which he replied "so long, I've forgotten what I've ordered and I'm losing the will to live!". Upon glancing up at the order screens and working out which was his, he wasn't being overly dramatic either because he'd been stood there over 15 minutes and he clearly just wanted a mighty bucket for one and this was a KFC restaurant, so in all fairness, he wasn't asking for anything out of the ordinary. We chatted for a bit because we had time to do so and once he'd been given his food (probably 5 minutes later, it came in a really small paper bag and looked really underwhelming, poor soul), I stood and observed my surroundings. The place was an absolute shambles. Multiple screen alarms echoed. A 'just eat' courier was asking how much longer and what were they waiting on, only to be told "Chicken pieces, fries, wraps, um, actually everything". There was one young lad at the front of the restaurant and only two more visible in the 'kitchen' area and to suggest they were all clearly struggling to keep up is a massive understatement. All of the order screens behind the counter had ridiculous times on them and I remember thinking "Wow! They're stupid! There's no way I'd wait over 25 minutes in a drive through!" but I suppose on reflection, those people were in the same boat as me at this point, so who's the stupid one?! Anyway, after only THIRTY FIVE MINUTES WAIT, whoosh! Just like that, my food arrived! There was no apology or acknowledgement for the wait or even an attempt to break the horrendous atmosphere with a light hearted quip about how it hadn't been very fast food or something. It was just dumped indignantly on the counter as the young lad muttered "9-0-8-0" and turned back around. At this point I politely asked him for a copy of my receipt because I'd obviously be complaining about the experience (I work in the service industry and I'm genuinely not that sort of person, but on this occasion, a complaint was probably deserved). He wasn't able to do it himself but would ask his manager to print one out. I was then met by an equally energetic and effervescent individual about 3 minutes later, who also didn't apologise or offer an explanation for the delays, noted the wait time on my receipt, handed it to me and then disappeared. The food itself was ok. I really like southern fried chicken, so I'm easily pleased in that respect. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't 'nearly 40 minutes wait' good. In summary, the whole experience was not a positive one. Also, for a bit of context, this is an amendment from a previous 5 star review from when this place first opened and it really was excellent on everything. It's fair to say it's not what it used to be and I probably wouldn't visit again. Very poor.

Waited 26 minutes as shown on their screen to receive my food, didn't taste great at all, kitchen staff looked like they didn't care, the women behind the counter was really nice seemed like the only one with any sense of urgency, she had to go round to the kitchen and make extra food due to the lack of care by the kitchen staff. Wouldn't recommend going here.

Delivery driver was very rude on the phone- went to the wrong place and I tried to redirect him but he told me that he has to take the food back to KFC now even though he was 5 mins from the right location. Order says its delivered but I have no food

The chickens we ordered was cold upon arrival. We picked the order based on the ears that were offered and it felt like ultimately it wasn’t the order we originally placed. We have used the service multiple times and have hand no issues at all between the lot of us. No complaints about the food at all in fact the food was spot on and I feel bad writing this toward the costal because it wasn’t their fault but the overall product this time was below par, usually love treating my friends to a kffc

The food was beautiful as always. However, they forgot my drink. It’s been a week, I have submitted for a refund on my drink and I’ve still not heard or received anything. I’m very disappointed down to the fact nobody has gotten back to me yet. I will not be ordering again.

Hi just to warn customers to make sure their chicken is hot. I had a zinger burger which felt around body temp which is about 37ish degrees centigrade when it should be 74 degrees centigrade. Also I dont know know if anyone has had this experience but my corn on the cob felt like it had chilli in it. But because it was very hot temp wise you might not have noticed. The staff were respectful but the eating areas could have been cleaner.

My order was completed quickly and the temperature was fine, sauces were given incorrectly, didn't say anything because I was given gravy instead. It was a quiet day when I went so overall nothing to complain about.

I got the wrong burger...instead of the tower zinger box meal, the burger was not a zinger burger as the chicken was not spicy, it had no hashbrown and there was ketchup instead of the zinger's sauce...

Delivery driver went above and beyond as I ordered to incorrect address and there was no way for me to change the order on the app and restaurant said they have nothing to do with it as I ordered through just eat. Delivery driver then delivered food to the correct address for me which was a life saver wish I could tip after the delivery instead of before would’ve given one 100%

Terrible. Ordered a lot of food, for it to just turn up all missing items or wrong food put into box. Not only that, I had a Tango Orange Can, that I never asked for inside my Chicken bag, making the can boiling and I don't know where the can has been, could've been on the floor for all I know. Will never order from this place again
