Dry chicken, unable to specify what pieces I want, although I'm literally paying for the food... KFC has gone completely down hill over these last few years, I won't come back for dry tasteless chicken anytime soon

I was approached by a young lady she asked if I was ready to order she was really quick with my order very friendly This was on Wednesday 17th at about 9.30PM Thank you and the food was amazing

ordered a 3 piece meal delivery and got 2 piece (drumsticks)........shocking again !!!!

Worst kfc I’ve ever had. Chips were undercooked yet burnt on the outside, zinger was just plain nasty. Will never order from here again. It’s left a bitter taste at the back of my mouth. KFC Blackwood get your act together your foods disgusting.

It really isn’t hard to see why this has a very low rating. Tried to be understanding about missing items from my last order which was 2 wraps mining and had to re order them but I was told that next time I order if I rang up the restaurant they would include the items that were missed last time as getting a refund through Uber eats is impossible. I now know why the day to ring. I rang 20 times for a total of 20 full minutes of ringing and didn’t get a single answer, I’ll be returning the food I’ve ordered to store for a full refund. Absolute shambles if I’m perfectly honest. This is my first ever review I’ve don’t online I never make complaints even if it is about £12 worth of food missing from an order but this just takes the p***

Foods great. Service could be better. Why o why is it always a fight to have the condiments. They should give them out with the food..and why is there never any bean salsa in the rice boxes?update... Best place in town for a disco.... music is booming.. so loud you can't even talk..... turn it down.

we visited today Saturday 18 of may and were greeted at the door by Lewis ones again he was the best service i could ever ask for and having our food he check on me and my Nan several times asking if the food was nice and can he get us anything else so thank you to the KFC staff special thanks to Lewis from Colleen and Cody. see you next week kind regards Colleen and Cody P.S. thanks to the management for a reply to our last review so pleased you read the reviews

Don’t bother going here after 10pm got told when trying to order 6 different items off menu didn’t have no food there absolutely shocking kfc last time I ever go here again

I waited 20 minutes to order my food and they ignored me when I asked to order when I finally had an answer she said she'd be with me in a minute still didn't come!! Will not be coming here again. should hire more staff!!

Food was underwhelming however was made up by Lewis's beamin smile and overall positive attitude, can't wait to go again and hopefully see him next time 🤞

I really enjoyed my chicken but was very shocked at the overall cost of the meals .We had about 10 chips each and only 2 drinks came with food for 4 of us and they were small . The staff were really good though the man on the floor kept himself very busy.

Just wanted a cappuccino and a cookie. Seemed difficult to get this simple request filled, even after repeating "yes, just 1 cappuccino and 1 cookie please. After @5 mins of 2 servers trying to understand how to place my order, we were finally done. Only to find when I sat at my table I'd been given a latte and a cook. The latte was vile...I'd lost the will to live at this point. No wonder the place was empty if my experience was indicative of typical customer service. Will not be visiting again, ever.

We went to KFC the other day (4 adults & 2 children) and as before we had a lovely meal. But we would all like to give special thanks to Lewis who works at blackwood. The last few times we have come to blackwood, he has been there and always offers a delightful smile, a very friendly manner and always ensures we are happy and is very attentive. He is such a lovely gentleman. We always look forward to our KFC treat, especially if he's working. Keep up the good work lewis👏 the world needs more kind hearted people like yourself.

First time having food from blackwood. Never again, salted frys had something else on it the chicken was grey and slimy eww not for me.

Food is always slow. Special mention to Lewis, great at greeting everyone coming in. Made sure everything was OK and if we needed anything. Very tentative. 5 stars for Lewis

Ordered a delivery at 22:00 and they close delivery at 22:30 They accepted order And at 22:57 cancelled the order That’s just disgusting I’m gonna take this further

Awful, it took 30min at the drive through for two uncustomised meals. I'm guessing it could have been longer had we not gone it to find out where it was. Got home and one was freezing and the other had a funny taste so it went in the bin.

Always been a bit warry about kfc because of negative reviews but went to go to McDonald's and the que was ridiculous so thought stuff it and I was glad that I did don't think I'll go back to McDonald's

I ordered a 10 piece bucket to go only to find when I got home that the fries were soggy and tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil, they also had black bits on them, the chicken wasn't very nice either, won't be going back there again!.

Absolute useless. Ordered take away. Chicken breast missing and no sauce.

Thus particular visit, literally everyone I dealt with was useless down the the manager. The order was wrong so I mentioned it. It was not rectified by the time the order came out. Mentioned it again and was told enjoy your food. Had to repeat it slowly and loudly to get the corn instead of gravy. Replaced then noticed they'd not done my drinks. Went back in and spoke to the manager and was just ignored whilst he poured the drinks. Usually they just substitute all sides for gravy, but thus really took the biscuit.

Chicken was unbelievably salty to the point I binned it after one piece. No gravy in bag (12 piece boneless bucket) and bottle of Pepsi max was sticky. Poor effort from a national fast food outlet!

Absolutely shocking!! Ordered from Uber eats- poor Uber driver rang to say they didn’t have our order, the attitude of the girl he spoke to was vile. He passed the phone across, she was not helpful at all. When we asked what the alternative option was she said with attitude “I don’t know- we don’t have anything here” and after asking what we was supposed to do as we paid she said she would cut some of the burgers instead and send those. The attitude was disgusting and so was the service. Staff clearly need some customer service training. And I’m sure as a chicken shop, you shouldn’t run out of chicken lol

Attended on a friday afternoon, food was very dry,portion very small given wrong drink.

Food was nice but what stood out more than anything was a member of staff who was very polite and very helpful his name was Lewis he greeted us at the door and had a big smile on his face and was ready to help with anything

Food, absolutely amazing but when they forgot all my sauces on £40 worth of kfc and I rung them to try get them back bit couldn't find my order number or name I found the receipt rang them again and they hung up if i could give 0 stars I would!!!

Never had an issue with the food or service

Really great KFC, Mega chicken bucket for 1 is a must from here. Why is the chicken so much bigger here than Caerphilly?

The young lady Annie was fairly rude when serving us at the till and we appeared to be forgotten about to which she did apologies for. However, the young man who was cleaning the seating areas was very pleasant. He greeted and smiled at both me and my partner when we came in and he checked on us while we were seated! Very lovely young man, I didn’t want his efforts to go unrecognised. I didn’t get his name but he was Brilliant. If it wasn’t for this young man, it would have been a very poor experience and we’d not be coming back to this branch again…

Tend to get things wrong if it's too complicated. Like if you ask for a piece of chicken instead of the wings that comes with the zinger burger box meal. You should have to check before you leave but here we are.

I like their chicken moist and taste

Check that your food is cooked before leaving. If it is cooked its been sat there ages and likely to be dry. Kfc not the cheapest fast food but this is not a good takeaway. Mediocre at best. One of the worst KFC have ever been to.

Ordered food from them at about 9, got told they had canceled the order and food wasn't coming second time this has happened now. Have pics of both orders and cancellations.

As with many of the fast food restaurants it varies every time i go here. Some times the foods 5 star, others it's a 2 star. I'm guessing this is due to the turn over of staff as I never see the same person twice. All in all its still my favourite in blackwood.

Hi there just had food from kfc in Blackwood and it took us 5 minutes to get home only to find that the food was stone cold, I had to airfry the food so I m8ght aswel have cooked it myself. The hot wings were tiny, they give me sweet chilli dip when it was garlic mayo I asked for not to mention I asked for ice cream with my child's meal and ended up with a pineapple stick which she can't eat as she's allergic to pineapple. So I was left with a crying little girl minus her ice cream and freezing cold food. Angry is a understatement I just spent £21.56 on freezing cold food when I could have paid £3.50 for a supermarket bucket I could have cooked myself. Very disappointing kfc Blackwood.

I used to work in this branch years ago so I can compare the differences. It's absolutely terrible and has been for a while, it was never great but Jesus, I cant remember the last time I had a correct order but they're so inept that it's pointless trying to complain. Only went today as there was an exclusive app offer, 3 x chicken, chips and gravy. No, gravy in the bag. A third of the meal missing. P*ss poor.

Take kids here always wrong order and the bread is always stale no matter when you visit. Absolutely unbelievable.

Got the Double dinner offer with a small gravy, food was good and service quick, unfortunately they only gave us 2 hot wings instead of the usual 4.

Got a vegan burger for my son, but was dry to the point of being inedible, as if it had been microwaved for too long or left somewhere hot for hours. Took it back and it was clear that processing a refund would be too much hassle so I left. Truly truly awful.

order at 12 said it would arrive before 1,the estimated time delivery changed to half 2 food never arrived,so we ordered mcdonald’s instead ❤️‍🔥

Went to blackwood KFC today. Went through the drive through they've majorly messed up our order. We ordered 2 lots of baked beans which we did not recieve. They repeated our order twice. Absolute joke.

Very poor costumer survive. Very arrogant lady at the counter. My drink was full to the top with ice an not a lot of drink in there so I went an asked could I have a refill an the lady at the counter laughed in my face. I showed her it was full to the top with ice and she said well I done it so it was fine. That was her answer not on if you ask me! Will not be going back!!

Not many people in there but seem to be a lot of youngsters just going in and out and messong about. Enjoyed the food and the service

The Staff are Extremely Friendly and willing to serve you exactly what you want (within Reason), The Chips are Amazing with a Crispy Skin but a nice soft delicious Inside, The Chicken is as always amazing and crispy out and juicy inside, Would Reccomend and Will Come Again!

Another kfc. Love my boneless chicken.. Just check your food before u leave. Don't always get what you ordered or usually missing something.. not always but now and then.... I am editting my review because I think people should be given another chance. I decided to go here on my dinner break. Which is 30 mins long and I work only a few mins away .. I was told to park up and await my food.. after 27 mins reversed back to ask how much longer I had to wait and they had no clue what I ordered because they gave my food to someone else.. they made my food their and then and I rushed back to work and ate it cold on my next break..

It depends on which staff are working, some of the staff are too young to know how to treat staff and how to keep the place clean. There is 1 person who is excellent, she is a shift runner and she enjoys her job and is good at her job. I think her name is Cara Pearce.

Very slow service, staff barely acknowledge you

It's improved a bit, and it depends on the manager. There's a particular manager, with a bunch of pins on his hat. I'm not sure of his name, but you know you're going to get nice food and good service when he's running the shift, for whatever reason With the employees, they need to put the correct utensils and condiments in the bags. I understand it gets tiring, and they may miss a napkin, or two, but to miss out on cutlery to eat the food, or to try and run away while asking them for a million things, like sugars, sauces, stirrers, salt, etc. is really annoying. I also think they need to put an end to employees using their mobile phones, especially on front counter. They also need to be trained on how they are speaking to customers. They aren't rude, but it's really... Odd, and there's something off, and it's a pretty awkward interaction with some of them

Do not get delivery from here. 4 times in a row now we have had large parts of our orders missing. I can honestly say it is ridiculous how many times they forget to put things in the bag. Had drive through order this week and when I got home all the mini fillets and gravy was missing.

Nice to eat in and usually quiet when I take my son on a Thursday. When I used the drive thru I asked for sauce and they didn't give it to me, even though I paid for it. When I went back in to ask for it they informed me that it's sold out. I was offered a refund but it was too much faff so I left without the sauce. The staff always seem to be smoking outside in the drive thru, which doesn't look good! Lots of staff, but no efficiency as a team it seems.

I’ve just visited Blackwood Kfc and they’ve been rude firstly o ordered table service and they made me come get it myself also it took 20 minutes to make a small drink with one other family eating in they continued to say “we aren’t doing customer service because we are busy” they then did not have enough stock of straws I proceeded to ask and they refused my request. In a summary they were rude and awful, and my friends chicken was greasy

Not the best kfc however it is better than Pontypridd’s, they actually get the food right even if it does take a while to get through the drive thru

Very slow at times, The food can be hit or miss Some times you have a grate meal prepared with care. On the other hand sometimes it looks someone's picked it up and thrown in the box with no thought for the standard of product being served.

We ordered our food and was waiting 40min at the counter after being ignored by the staff and them taking other people's orders I had to interrupt a customer as I was so annoyed they finally give us our food and there was no apology for the wait at all.
