The lady serving called my number then turned her back and chatted to a friend whilst i tried to ask for some tomato sauces. I gave up and went home where i discovered she hadnt bothered to correctly put everything in the bag. Great stuff, fast easy food turned into an unnecessary hassle from lazy workers.

The staff were polite, and at first look the restaurant looks nice…. That’s where good ends! The chicken fillets in our burgers were dry, old and very small. The chips were awful, cold and poorly seasoned and again with the tiny portions. Felt we were given child meals for an adult price, honestly felt ripped off. Advice to restaurants, please, if you’re going to up your prices, give your customers quality and value for money! This was a very disappointing meal, we won’t be returning.

Went for lunch today but came away without eating as there is no way for a disabled person to access the upstairs seating area which I find totally incomprehensible. All that is available inside downstairs is two tables, one no bigger than a KFC tray, and if they are occupied that's it , outside or nothing . Never again .

Card machines (which had clearly been broken and wrapped in tape and cable ties for a while) did not work and corrupted my bank card. Staff were unhelpful and had no sense of urgency despite a long queue forming whilst we were there. The staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming and were very casual in admitting the same thing had happened this morning. (I suspect the car 2 cars ahead of us as well as many after us had the same issue and will now also have cards that don’t work) The drive through card reader clearly should have been replaced some time ago. Not acceptable in a franchise of this size. I will not be putting my card in a clearly defective machine again and will not be visiting this site to be served by the staff a second time. Should have gone to McDonald’s as we originally intended to.

Please check your order before leaving the drive through. Only one out of three meals we ordered was correct. Only one of three drinks were correct. Staff not interested and because I had left the window they would not even attempt to correct their errors. Poor show!

Ordered 3 meals at drive thru pretty simple really, asked when they passed it through the collection window was it all in there and were we good to go, reassured by both members of male staff everything was in the bag good to go, got home 1 meal missing, called the restaurant to be told if I got back in the car I could go and collect it - I said why don’t you get deliveroo to deliver it after all it was your mistake, can’t do that, so I said okay I will go to mutley plain to pick it up as it’s closer, no you can’t do that either, so after further conversation I was told all staff quality control the product and double check each other to ensure there are no problems with an order - so it begs the question where did it go so wrong - shocking service all ways round.

My Word. I'm editing this review after the latest horrendous experience here. Ordered via the app at home and then drove straight there. I arrived at the restaurant and joined a queue of cars that seemed to be stationary for an age. Oh well, it gets busy there, I get it. Prob took around 15 to 20 mins to get to the order thingy and told the girl I'd used the app, and that was 19:51. Took another 15 mins to get to the food window and was told to park up. So I'm thinking I ordered via the app, had to wait to get to the order point then window, so surely it should be ready. Oh well, it gets busy, I get it. I park up and wait for........half an hour! Still no sign of the food. A few cars go through, but my food is nowhere to be seen. Plenty of delivery drivers/riders, etc, coming and going, but no sign of my food or for the guy behind me waiting too. I see him go in, so I followed and just heard the tail end of his complaint "I've been waiting 15 mins" so I said "yes and I've been out there for at least 30". I'm watching the staff just standing there, and there's several delivery guys waiting and being served. It appeared to me that they were the staffs priority, and we were merely a hindrance. I was offered a not very convincing apology and no offer of anything to compensate, just a paltry "it'll be a few more mins". 5 mins later, I get our food, and I head home. It was almost 21:00 by the time we left. Appalling. It's supposed to be a fast food restaurant, and what is the point of using the app if people are ordering at the drive-through, getting their food immediately, yet I have to wait ages.

The drive through experience, despite only 3 cars in the queue took ages to finally get food. Pulling up to the order station I was waiting for several minutes for anyone to answer and just take my order. No wonder if they cant even do this promptly there is a huge delay. God knows how they cope if it ever gets busy. The food experience, I ordered a fillet burger which when I finally received it had no kfc flavour at all , it was thin like a cheap frozen burger you might get from a supermarket . This cost nearly £6 . Avoid this place its awful

This is not the first time I have been to this KFC but this was by far the worst!!! The food was not hot and the fries were soft, seemed like they had both been hanging around for a while before we were served. The young lady behind the counter didn’t want to be there and was more interested in her phone. Having go our food we eat up stairs which was partly closed as it had been cleaned, shame they didn’t clean the ladies toilets!!! 1 cubical had blood down the side of the pan and the other had poo in the pan is there not a cleaning rota? and should they have been checked? I know it’s not their fault but this should be checked through the day. On leaving the building I thought I’d tell them behind the counter what a waste of time the same young lady was still on her phone and wouldn’t look at me. Won’t be coming back the is KFC

So this is my family's departure as customers from KFC custom indefinitely. After using several drive-throughs and restaurants, ranging from Torbay through to this hole at Marsh Mills Plymouth 8th April '23 - this is the final straw which broke the camels back for us. Hardly a huge loss for KFC by any means (was only a monthly treat for us) but we hope others might read and choose real food instead. Zinger meal was stone cold, had obviously not been microwaved properly. Boneless box meal from had rubbery cold chicken nuggets, undercooked soggy fillets and watered down 7up which tasted of detergent. The fries were thrown in the bag like some kind of pig trough and staffs interpretation of 'medium portions' were beyond pathetic. You get more potato in a pack of crisps, Additionally there weren't even spoons included to eat our barbecue beans (in fact the only hot product). Confusing printed signs on the drive through kiosk window had us reversing to pay, only to find the window was closed and only one was actually operational. This restaurant was a shambles. And despite ot not being busy at all, can you really blame these young kids serving, or KFC's employees with special needs for not really caring? All waiting for their shifts to end? Consider this our "formal resignation" from KFC's pig-slop for good, this particular restaurant played a final role. For the cost we could have dined on properly prepared hot food, with dedicated service at tables and actual cutlery. What's the benefit and convenience of eating here exactly? None.

First we look for the hot drinks on the card reader menu and there were none. A girl watching from behind the counter asks us " what do you want" with a serious attitude problem like we had inconvenienced her! I ask for a coffee and tea and she huffed and trapsed off like an angry teenager from Kevin and Perry. She came back and asked whose is the latte to which I said I want a coffee not a latte and she spouted what do you mean coffee that is a coffee! Next my mate asked if there was any sugar, she pulled another face, stuck her hand in the box next to her and threw three sachets in front of us and recrossed her arms! I politely asked if there was any more and she only went and picked up the container turned it upside down, threw it back. She said "That's it"!.. To anyone thinking of popping in, if you want the wrong order, no product, bad attitude and filthy tables with snotty little girls who probably couldn't even spell manners then this is the place for you.. Imagine what they could do with the food. Get a grip of your staff KFC!

I live nearby and so when this KFC first opened I was so pleased that I could get it easily now, rather than driving up to Derriford or town. I've been there at least 10 times since it opened and only ONCE have I had the correct order with no problems. Literally 90% wrong! This week we ordered a £32 family feast type deal. We went in and watched them prepare and pack it (as much of it as we could see) to make sure it was all there. It seemed ok, so we drove home to eat. Then we realised they hadn't put the 8 hot wings. We called, was told sorry we can't do much unless you come back or get them, or have them free another time with a complaint code. We said ok, next time. So last night we picked up a couple of wraps and the 'free' wings. Took it all home and the wraps were honestly stone cold, as in - may have come out of a fridge cold. Threw them away as it is disgusting, a bit warm where things get left out in a fast food chain I expect, but I am not exagerating when I say they were stone cold. That's it, never going here again and I really hope whoever owns this chain reads these reviews and sorts it out, what a waste of a potentially perfect business.

When attempting to speak to member of staff who had been ignoring me for 10mins with a gentle "Excuse me" the reply was an abrupt "YOU CAN WAIT!". I attempted to explain that my order was sat on the side going cold and had been for ten minutes. Her response was"In house get priority!" She then backtracked and tried to say it's only just been packed. This woman has no business in the service industry, highly unprofessional with zero manners. I would be ashamed to have her as an employee. Disgusting behaviour. I had to apologise to the customer for the luke warm chicken.

I always visit on Thursday night for a takeout as I finish late . The last 2 visits I did not get any dips and in my boneless feast with 12 mini fillets tonight , I checked when I ordered that there would be dips and when the guys handed me my bag I asked if the dips were in again and he said yes . Decided to eat locally on Saturday evening, so chose the kentucky at Marsh Mills Plymouth. After ordering a takeaway of the 3 original pieces of chicken, chips and drink I couldn't wait to eat it. Well I was so disappointed at the size of the chicken portions , since when did you start serving such small pieces. Won't return again,in my opinion it's gone down hill. Very measly portion size.

We’ve never been to a full on high street mega Harry Ramsden restaurant, only to what we presumed were branded franchise chip cafes at motorway service stations, most recently but still a decade or more ago at Exeter. The Plymouth/Devonport delivery only arrangement is I suppose one further down the ladder but it has all the regalia. We’d been gardening and drinking and this was the local delivery option with the least waiting time and an air of reliability. We could have but didn’t bother tracking but they arrived much quicker than expected. Tidy robust paper bag, no fancy insulation but the contents were still hot and there were surplus handfuls of salt finger and sauce sachets. (Much better than those places that wrap crisp fried stuff in plastic that leaves it all soggy and steamy when it arrives!). The fish was marginally dry and the coatings of the scampi a bit hardened but the meal wasn’t bad for what we paid. All these things are enhanced by copious amounts of decent ale and outdoor plonk.

Absolute joke here, I stopped in with my family for a quick lunch, after spending the better part of £40 we sat down, as I went to get out drinks a seagull flew down and snatched the sandwich out of my wife's hand, ( we were say INSIDE ) as I went back to explain and get a replacement the woman serving just shrugged and said " that's what the signs are for" the signs say DO NOT LEAVE FOOD UNATTENDED.. the food wasn't left UNATTENDED it was taken out of my wife's hand.. since then I have noticed seagull and pigeons walking round inside and sitting at the tables, I am sure this is a health violation and I will be in contact with the council EHO.
