Kfc in Redditch

Chicken dry and definitely no value for money. Also 6 drumsticks in a 10 piece bucket - shameful. Just another large company ripping off the public.

We had items missing from our delivery order. When we phoned up to enquire we were told that we had to visit the restaurant to replace the items. No offer of redelivery or even a refund. As it happened we could not get to the restaurant so we phoned again to get a refund, only to be told to claim it on the app. But after searching the app , this facility does not seem to be available. Total lack of customer service and they don't care if you have lost money by ordering from them. It amazes me that anyone actually uses this place tbh.

Had a great experience here today. A special mention to Sidra who served us at the drive thru who was so friendly and welcoming, really made our experience.

Visited my local Kfc restaurant this evening & have to say the service I received was excellent to say the least! Special mention must go to Lexie for being so lovely too!

Please can you change your frying fat, it smelt and the chicken was not tasting nice because it tasted like old fat

Good food, great staff and a pleasure to visit. I both deliver for them (so see how organised they are when it's manic) and buy from them too. Management seem to be on the ball as well, compared to the Bromsgrove one!!

We came to kfc to order desert. We ordered 5 ice cream sundaes at the self service station and waited patiently for them at the counter. Three members of staff were complaining right in front of the counter , moaning that they don’t get enough breaks, laughing and totally oblivious to customers waiting. We noticed the one member of staff making our ice creams with minimal effort or attention to detail and moaned shoving them in a holder that was clearly too small. No hello , no recognition , no customer service. She then looked as us as if we were ruining her social life and said “I guess these are for you”. To which we replied yes - we were the only customers there. She then continued trying to shove the ice creams in with no care, touching the ice cream with her hands - no gloves, dirty finger nails. She continued her conversation with her colleague and slammed them in front of us. Absolutely appalling customer service and will not attend again.

Clearly this place has problems, based on the reviews, but when I dropped in yesterday 15th May, around 4pm I was greeted by a lovely lady, efficiently served and the food was piping hot and excellent. Still think KFC fries with skin on are utterly vile, but the chicken was lovely. Lady was desperate for me to complete the on line survey but I dont do that sort of rubbish. No idea where this culture comes from when we are expected to complete a survey every time we buy anything. Il tell you if you get it wrong rest assured!

Just had a KFC clews road Redditch. It was absolutely disgusting, had a really strange awful taste.its all ended up in the bin . Spoke to the manager who couldn't be bothered or even interested ,but after me saying to him it tasted like it was cooked in old oil,he was quick to say they change the oil once a week !!!!!!!!

I went to purchase a drive through meal at this outlet but when the bottle of pop was offered to me I told the young lady I had ordered Pepsi not Pepsi max, the young lady asked the manager if she could change it, to which the manager said, 'no the order has gone through'. I said to the girl I did not want the Pepsi max as I do not drink it the manager then said, 'you will have to pay an extra 30p for the sugar tax if you want to change it,' to which I replied that would be fine but when I tried to pay with my card she shouted at me that they did not take money at that window so I asked for a refund. I was then told I had to go into the shop to do this when I went in she asked for the receipt and when I said I wasn't given one she really lost it and told me she wouldn't give me a refund, my husband asked to speak to the manager and was told she was the manager and he replied, 'in that case your customer service is s***'. The manager then started screaming at us to get out of the shop as he was swearing at her and she would not give us a refund or any food and if we wanted a refund we would have to ring them. I explained I had done nothing wrong it was her staff who had put the wrong order through but she just kept screaming at me to get out I asked again for my refund and was screamed at to get out. I feel with this kind of customer service in a world where we are all trying to go to drive throughs rather than have to go inside to order to stay safe there was no reason to go to this extreme reaction over 30p and refuse to give a customer their refund because she had a bad day. If you cannot treat customers with respect then you should not be employed as a manager.

We almost always find the food here fine. Love the gravy. Must eat in or as now, with no dine in, or in the car park. The food is just at the right temperature. Wouldn't dream of having it delivered.

Just Eat announce that I can order a KFC for delivery. It's been a while so why not?If I had been on the premises I would have taken the whole meal back and demanded my money back. As it was we chewed through what looked and tasted as if it was left-overs reheated. The chips were inedible.It seemed to me that the prices had increased as well.It might be a while before I risk it again.

Had a takeaway last night from here Must say was very impressed with the food and the delivery service Will defo return

Always have good food from here! Staff can be hit and miss though! Sometimes too busy and can’t cope. We always return so don’t get all the negative reviews!

Last time I had a kfc was 5 years ago and I vowed never again. I felt like I needed that taste again and I have to say it was nothing special. The grease on the chicken portions was everywhere and you can just tell it’s all mass produced on the cheap. Maybe in another 5 years.....

served ok by staff,but the food we were served up uggggh. had a 3 piece meal my wife had a 2 piece meal,i had 2 drumsticks and 1 thigh i bit into a drumstick the grease shot out onto the sleeve of my jacket the soft skin all came off in 1 piece, hard meat no flavour horrible,tried a chip it was tasteless and near cold,dissappointed never again.

Really like the KFC chicken and the £10 box is usually OK This time the chicken was fine and tastyThe chips were disgustingly poor and almost cold.The quality is not their very poor which speaking with other is a problem with KFC at presentNot bothering again

My son likes to come here for his weekly treat after school and he always finds the food hot and tasty.

In view of the poor hygiene I cannot recommend this KFC for any visitor>Email I just sent to KFC which says it all:I went to get a drive through this evening (Boxing Day) at 7pm and whilst at the pay/collect window I looked in and saw one of your staff with his outside work coat serving customers. He was wearing chef’s trousers. He was opening the cardboard boxes in which you serve food. If you have CCTV you will see that he had a quantity of these boxes under his arm in direct contact with the coat. The coat must be filthy!I spoke to the younger chap who was taking my payment and asked if his colleague was wearing his outside coat as I had driven past the open bin store doors. The bin store doors were wide open – they lie between the closed Order window and the delivery window. The server told me his colleague was wearing the coat because ‘it was cold at the order window’ but I know this wasn’t true at the order was taken over the intercom and there was nobody in the order window. (I paid as the food was handed to me). The order window was closed and not being used.The server then told me that his colleague wasn’t actually serving anyone but just taking orders and the money. I really couldn’t be bothered arguing and I paid and left.The jacket was a thick black one with reflective grey stripes and certainly not a jacket worn by staff serving customers at the order window.I am disappointed that your staff wear the clothing that they use in the bin store whilst serving customers. The standard of hygiene is lamentable and I am concerned that instead of correcting the problem the server would attempt to mislead me.I asked for a receipt as I paid by debit card but was told that there was no paper for the receipt machine so I couldn’t have one.I shall not be using your Store again as I do not like unhygienic food establishments.

I ordered a BBQ chicken wrap from the drive through and was very disappointed with what I received! Having been used to mcDonalds lovely wraps the KFC one was a very sorry looking meal. Hardly any sauce, lettuce or garnish and looks like it was put together by a toddler- see pictures!

Don’t go. It’s an abomination of poor customer service, cold food, incorrect orders and lack of stock. KFC.. you should sort this...it’s truly appalling. This review is based on 3 visits. Each time we thought it couldn’t get worse. It did!

Burger bun was like a rock. Tight on the size/amount of chicken pieces in the box. Bloke behind the till spoke shocking English. Staff were more interested in shouting across the kitchen to each other to get in on the staff selfies they were taking. Bunch of useless clowns.

both my wife and i had a chicken wrap meal deal,meal was OK but the chips were not very hot,toilet not very clean , smell, and very small can not say i would go back in a hurry

This is a really good KFC! Always hot and staff double check order so no missing food. They are happy to give you extra sauce if required and there’s never much of a que at the drive thru. The only thing I’d say is their menu on their drive thru screens are never up to date with the adverts. When you ask for something on them they just say they “don’t do that anymore” and to “always ignore the screens” - I can’t imagine it’d be difficult to a.m. end them this day and age but I presume that’s the people at higher levels not caring too much.

Fast food? I don't think so, slow food...worth the wait? Not really. Competition?...far better than this..won't rush back

This has to be one of the worst KFC's i've been to, the girl behind the counter was really rude, they didn't even have an item part of the meal I wanted to order and she told us to go to another KFC straight away ! We ordered anyway and whilst I was in the middle of paying she hadn't even clicked on the card payment on the till so clearly it wasn't working which she noticed, and she sighed/rolled her eyes and walked off to start pouring my drink even though there was no one behind us ! When she decided to come back I finally managed to pay and she then just miserably put our order on the counter and walked off without even acknowledging the order was all there - On top of that the food was cold and not worth it ! I definitely won't be going back here, very annoyed with the ridiculous customer service and dissapointing food !

This store has to be one of the worst ones going! The staff talk to customers like they come from the ghetto. There is never any stock therefore I can never order what I want, most of the time I drive straight out without buying anything. Absolutely appalling.

Poor customer service. Arrived at drive through ordering window, no one came to take my order. Drove round to the collection window and had to wait 10 minutes for the 2 cars in front of me to get their order. They then refused to take my order at the collection windows and I had to drive around to the ordering window again and wait for someone to come and take my order.

Went into this KFC yesterday it was not a pleasant experience it was freezing cold in there so cold in fact that our meal was too cold to eat within 5 minutes of purchase so went into the bin I noted that one of the ladies toilet was out of order it was out of order last week so obviously had not been sorted. Back to the meal the chicken was extremely dry so even it we hadn't have left because of it being so cold in there we wouldn't have eaten it anyway....goodbye KFC Clews Road you have lost 2 regular customers.

Tried this particular KFC whilst I had my two grandsons in the car. We have tried this one in the past and wasn’t’t impressed then but grandsons wanted KFC so gave it another go. Went via the drive through. Ordered two kids meals with a crushem each. A rather dis-interested server informed me on the telecom that they had no crushes. Ok then, we’ll have two fruit shoots. We ain’t got them either mate was the reply. I asked if they had anything at all and the reply was look at the menu. Fortunately we have a large four wheel drive so we could just drive over the kerbs and get a Macdonalds! The Colonel must be spinning in his grave!

Dry dry dry...uneatable...outer coating was hard, chicken was dry. This chicken had been cooked for some time and kept warm. 3 different meals, all very disappointing. The Colonel would not be proud!

Decided on kfc as the q for McDonald's car park was huge... it was Easter Saturday lunchtime.

We called here with the Grandchildren who love this type of food. Myself and the Wife were delighted as were the children with the speed and quality of service and food. The restaurant was fairly clean and tidy for a fast food place.

Just fancied something different and called in on the off chance. Very clean and friendly sort of place with bags of parking. Being old and uneducated in various choices pictured on wall, staff were more than helpful in choosing from menu. Had a box full of chicken pieces which were really delicious and tasty. Also included were skinny chips and a drink. Sweet Chillie sauce was off so had special barbeque which was surprisingly good. Came out feeling quite full and satisfied at this reasonably priced feast. Definately recommend as a welcome change from MacDonalds.

I thought I would not like just eating chicken. How wrong I was. The chicken is really good and I just love the coating. I also like the fries. Love that chicken.

Service slow, seemed short staffed, dirty unclear tables. The food was good nice and hot, but had a while to wait. Always good for a quick bite though as the chicken very tasty

visit this place on wednesday and friday , but only because my grandson likes the bonus banquet for one meal , staff seem as though they don`t want to be there ?, ice cream machine was down on several occasions , very poor . service ok , price reasonable .

We decided to pop in and try this KFC as we were quite hungry at the time. We will not be returning after having to have several trips to the bathroom throughout the day. This is the same account for the whole group who attended this trip. Chicken was cold and the wings had lots of blood.

I love KFC but this one seems to never have any stock... that being said service is always fast and food is piping hot

Went through the drive through order promptly taken food was ready when we got to the collection window, got home piping hot and delicious.

Went for an quick takeaway meal with Er Indoors, to be fair very slllooooowwww service, took approx 10 mins for food to come, I was fortunate to have just the right angle to catch the assistant open the door to fetch my side of beans out to find one solitary pot on its side with the spilt beans in the hot draw, to my advantage I watched her scoop them up with the lid and then place on my tray of food!!! This prompted me to say "I think I will swap them beans for gravy as they looked a little spilt thanks" which she did thankfully!! Otherwise rest of the food in my big daddy box meal was fine. Great full for my charming company Er indoors treated me to ice cream, as we watched the chaos over the road at the maccys!!

I suppose you know what you are going to get from a KFC outlet , however this one was very clean, tidy and modern, the service was great and the food appeared to be freshly made. If you like KFC, this one is worth a try

The chicken here is usually freshly cooked (they are always quite busy), but they are notorious for forgetting sides/sauces so do check your order! Friendly staff though, and they try to accommodate special requests.

Asked for not too many legs and surprisingly didn't get any so very pleased with that. The chicken had just been freshly cooked and was lovely.

This is the 3rd time now myself and my other half have been to kfc and our orders have been wrong.

The girl handed me my bag of kfc and said there u go everything is in there. I got home and realised this was not true!! No coleslaw! Come on how hard can it be????!!!!

With the interduction of the rice box and burrito I've found KFC to be a more appealing option to eat. Plus who Carnt say no to hot wings.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, however since opening they have failed to get our order correct. There is always something incorrect. They are happy to sort things but it's sooo frustrating. I've had to go back to the store after using the drive thru and that really gets to me. Not as if its tricky!

Clean, bright contemporary interior and friendly staff. KFC is however KFC so not an awful lot to say nonetheless if your peckish and in Redditch give this place a try!

I often go get something quick before work, the chicken is good although the chips are always just warm and they always forget the gravy! About 6 times now! Often they forget napkins and straws too!

This was a reasonable good KFC which was clean and tidy inside and outside, bins were not full nor were there any discarded food packages or cups lying around.
