Was terrible, staff arguing with each other over making a Krushem which was half full. The food was cold and flavourless! The order was wrong when we got it and when I went to let them know I was greeted with attitude and a half arsed attempt of being polite. I witnessed a staff member put their hand down the back of their trousers then carry on working without cleaning their hands. Would have also been nice to sit at a clean table, the store wasn’t full so I would have thought they would take initiative and go and clean something! Please don’t get me started on the disgusting toilets which haven’t been cleaned in what seems like months. Overall I think they need to employ some older employees or someone who can manage their staff! No respect for their jobs, hygiene or customers.

awful experience. while ordering we overheard staff talking about smoking joints after work and swearing to eachother. is this normal?? looked like they didn’t even care customers were infront of them! I have never experienced such awful mouthed staff members Management need to get their act together!! Kids barley even looked 18!

We arrived home from Madeira and drove down from Manchester airport. I was too tired to cook so we went for a family bucket, sides and fried. We collected our bucket and headed home. What a disappointment. The fries were cold, limp, and soggy. We had 2 thighs and the rest were drumsticks - all the chicken was over cooked, crispy and not succulent. This family custom of getting kfc after a holiday will stop right here. It was inedible and tasteless. Vile! Dreadful. A total rip off!

Can’t knock the value. I was able to get my free fries along with an offer off the app for a zinger and two hot wings for £3.99. The order was right first time and it was tasty.

Went through drive thru, waiting over 20 mins for food and they just tell you to wait in the queue, cars parked everywhere and no orders being brought out. Absolutely awful

Having got fed up with KFC continually getting my order wrong, my weekly junk food treat had been McD’s or Burger King, however, (no exaggeration) McD’s hasn’t got one order right in the last 3months or more, I’ve decided to give KFC another go and this restaurant, atleast, seems to be quick with service, it gets your order right, first time on my last two visits and better still it’s allowing app offers to be used in conjunction with Blue Light Card 10% discount which is great! So well done for picking your game up! Also my Korean BBQ wrap was really tasty & I like the new app.

Menu changes without staff being trained on the ‘replacements’. Wrong order given so had to drive back and get it swapped. Then ended up with half a portion in the replacement. Can’t bear to look inside when at the drive-thru, always so filthy. Staff are clearly under trained. Whoever owns/runs this franchise needs to take a long, long look at themselves.

Rude staff, very dirty restaurant, dirty toilets, loads of bits missing from the meal and the drinks were flat, wen I complained I just got this blank look ie we don't not give a dam! I’ve got cancer, and therefore LOVE foods that are highly flavoured and are quite tasty. We often call to KFC at Sprowston Retail Park after visiting the hospital, and in general, the food’s quite good. However, today was a bit of a disappointment. Chips were cold, the chicken ‘bits’ were just that-a bit scrappy. The popcorn chicken was ok I suppose! The only good bit was the side order of gravy, which was thick, very hot, and just yummy. All is, a bit of a disappointment 😞😢

It wasn't full fat Pepsi, but no drink with sugar either. Sell your artificial robish for someone else!!! Artificial sugar is a poison! We arrived before closing time. The guy was nice and helpful at the order side, but the other one at checkout wasn't so wellcomy! They didn't put in the bag one of the meals we ordered! So we paid 3 for 2. Ordered our meals at the drive through. Were told approx 15 min wait for chicken , agreed and made our order. Asked to wait in the ordered bay which we did. After 30 mins still no sign of our food. Now i dont mind a wait , especially when i have been told approx waiting time. But we were told up to 15/20 mins. In that time we watched numouros , delivery people arrive and depart with food. So i went and asked.about ours . Blank faces , then told " i dont do the drive through stuff" Manager summond , appologised and said waiting on chicken , but nearly ready. REALLY ?????????? So what were the delivery people taking then. ? Another 15mins passed, and it arrived. And guess what , items missing chips and two drinks and when we arrived home we still found items missing A complete shambles ! And a 50 min wait in the end So i suggest dont do the drive through, order online and ask them to deliver to the car park. Its the only way you will get your food in a sensible time ( its only fair to add that they chucked a couple of extra bits of chicken in as by way of an apology. But given so much was missing not really worth alot is it ?)

feel of place was fresh and clean, service was a bit slow, but staff were friendly and I assume lady getting my order together was new as she took her time and checked and double checked the contents of each order, while a bit frustrating waiting at least the order was spot on and the food tasted good.A big improvement on the last time I visited.

Ordered some food to be delivered via Just Eat, ordered mid afternoon for 7PM delivery, confirmation email received saying order accepted, didn’t arrive at 7, waited until 7:20, rang Just Eat who said they would investigate, to be fair to just eat they called back within 5 or so minutes, they said they had spoken to the KFC who said they were too busy, they had had our order for 5 hours so why did they did not let us know earlier, bloody waste of space, Just Eat were not impressed either. What’s the point of offering delivery if you can’t or won’t deliver. Not Just Eats fault, they couldn’t have been more helpful,

Dropped in to the drive through on a Saturday lunchtime. Rude uninterested service and appalling food. Chicken burger cold, chicken pieces soggy with no flavour and a complete rip off in terms of price. Never again, disgusting!

Aren’t normally one to put up things but this is a disgrace, went to this kfc with all being well at start, started to eat my fillet burger meal all good...until I got the middle of the chicken to look down and see it was very undercooked and still pink. My boyfriend explained the situation to a member of staff and she said let me change that for you clearly seeing it was pink and undercooked with no apologies ,nothing but another burger which I definitely didn’t want as I’d been put off enough ,Avoid this place is the only thing I have to say as this is dangerous to health and shouldn’t be open if a chicken restaurant can’t cook chicken correctly and safe.

We popped in here on our way home late, to get what we thought was going to be fast food, not realising it would take over 20mins, it says it in the name fast food is meant to be fast! They had no gravy, no napkins, no hand wipes, the floor was filthy, dirty trays and tables every where. It was disgusting, it should have a higher standard. The chicken it self was lovely, but we would never come back to this KFC again!

popped in on way home on a Sunday night around 18:30, not very busy food ordered quickly with friendly lady behind to till, Food was prepared quickly and was srill nice and hot when we got home and was very enjoyable.

Came here on Saturday for tea placed order noticed tissue s straw wrappers on floor not many people at tables but tables full with people's rubbish I thought to myself why don't people clear up but looked at bins and they were over flowing so really where were people surpose to put rubbish we managed to find a clear table food ok only luke warm ques now out of door qued for an ice cream was in que for 20 mins some people were now waiting 12 mins for orders to be given after waiting in que for 20mins not really good enough staff seem to be serving drive thru customers rather than if eating in. staff need to learn to smile they all look grumpy didn't once see any staff tidy/clean up when we were there.dont think il be returning here any time soon.

Tried this place a few times always the same, staff seem that they hate their job, food orders you'd be lucky to get correct, place feels dirty and no one seems to come out from behind the counter to clean tables, floors, toilets and empty outside bins etc. Everything you order just seems to take effort even just giving out salt, napkins and wipes in the drive through with your meal.

Have always liked going to this outlet, just because of the convenience and location and often turn a blind eye to poor customer service.

20 mins wait to get the order in and a 30 min wait to recive your food. Staff are slow, service is bad tables full if rubbish. Ive been there twice now on different months and the service was the same.

Went on Sunday evening, I was the only customer in there. I ordered 2 Fillet Burgers. I assumed there wouldn't be an issue, I should have checked. I arrived home to tuck in to a sumptuous looking meal (as per photos on their website), but was disappointed to discover both burgers had no lettuce. The burgers should have, chicken, lettuce and mayonnaise. Surely, the staff couldn't get that wrong, right? WRONG!

Went today for quick drive through.. the drive through was closed. Parked up and went in. Shambles. People waiting over 25 mins. Tables all full of trays and food. Not cleared. No coffee. No lettuce... lady complaining got her chicken on a tray ..10 mins later chips came to table cold.. I waited 20 mins, gave up and went to Macdonalds lovely

Ok for a KFC the server had an attitude, we had deluxe boneless box they had no mayo, no bbq sauce, no corn on the cob or coleslaw, no bottles of Pepsi they offered us two drinks instead but there were three of us so we convinced the grumpy server we needed three drinks for three people.

On several occasions over the past few years this has been closed for several different reasons, cleanliness ,NO CHICKEN , tills not working so only drive through available. The last time we went in there were flies all over the menu boards I must have mounted over 25 of them so walked out as I felt sick.

Popped in to KFC on Sunday Night to grab some food at 8:30pm, just sat on a table halfway through a meal and got asked to leave by a member of staff as kfc was now takeaway only.

My 15 year old son and friends were asked to order their food and wait outside for their food aswell eat it outside due to their age. I totally would understand if they were rude, causing a scene but they weren’t. I contacted KFC about this and they very apologetic and told me Carrie the area manager would deal with this as there is a sign in the shop along the lines of “unaccompanied youths can only order take away “ KFC head office were surprised by this sign. Again the boys tried again today and again were asked to leave and eat outside when there were other boys 1 year older eating inside he restaurant. They also ran out of chicken and buns and closed early and offered a lady free chips to compensate, but the boys when they asked were refused. They totally discriminated these boys due to their age. I am waiting another response from head office . Appalling service

Everything about it was awful - the queues and the staff. I do not think you can normally go wrong with a bonefree meal but this was really dry and chips cold.

40 minutes through a drive through! Then order wrong. No one outside saying what the wait was. No apology at order point. Asked if guy working was only one once we got to payment and collection window. Said no. So still unsure of what the hold up was. Went home, order wrong. Went back. No compensation for that. Just recooked. Love wasting petrol. Thanks!

Visited last Sunday, we had a Fully Loaded and Banquet for One, both were very nice and still hot after 10 minute journey home. Went in and ordered food, service was quick, and cleanliness of resturant was a lot better than on occasions in the past when I have visited. Saw member of staff cleaning/clearing tables and sweeping the floor. Will always be rubbish strewn about at times due to some people not giving a toss, just wonder what their homes are like! To summerise can see improvement, and well worth visiting again. Well done to all concerned.

Dirty tables and floor. After a while a girl started to sweep the floor but only swept the clean areas and ignored areas where there was food and other mess under the tables. Nobody attempted to wipe the filthy tables. Even the windows and walls have coffee stains on them! Husband went to Gents and was appalled at the state of toilets and sink. There's a sign in the toilets saying they are cleaned regularly. Presumably they may mean twice a year? Think KFC need to learn lessons from Macdonald's - at least they are cleaning almost non-stop and it shows!

We were the only customers so would of thought staff could of made the effort to make the food hot,also need to up the game in customer service.

Awful food, awful service, refused to heat baby's milk or provide hot water, toilets not fit to use, unclean and needs demolishing. Anything would be better than a KFC here I really do not know how this place has stayed open

I believe this place has been closed down twice. I've also been here when all the bins have been full, and quite often there is a problem with the coffee machine and on three occasions I've been here after 15 to 20 minutes of opening time and the place still is not open.

Well what can i say. Ordered a three piece variety meal only to get home and two pieces of chicken missing. Orders are always incomplete and missing items even if you ask the staff to make sure its correct. Its useless and downright expensive if you dont get what you order!!

We visited here about 3pm for an early tea before the theatre on a Friday afternoon, we were the only people sitting eating in which I couldn't understand?

Very simple scenario. We dropped in on a Wednesday night around 9pm and used the drive thru. A bargain bucket was our simple order. The chicken must have been kept hot for hours. You always know when something's wrong when the skin and coating on the chicken is rock hard. The chicken inside was dry as a bone requiring copious amounts of drink to even get through it. The chips were the same, they were limp and dry. To be honest we have had this a few times at various KFC's. They cook a lot of chicken so as to be able to offer a fast service then it goes quiet and the chicken just sits there drying out. We did break our golden rule as we were hungry. That is if the KFC is not busy ie hardly any eaters or people queuing then don't both as it wont be freshly cooked. They need the through put of customers. These people are never going to throw food away and cook fresh and its us the customer that gets it. I wouldn't mind betting that the fresher chicken is given to the restaurant eaters as they are there to complain whereas drive thrus can be long gone.

I know that we expect all smooth from big names like KFC, however after several issues with hygiene, staffing and even closure I have been there and I am impressed. The speed of recovery, not gone unnoticed! Well done for your hard work

Surely it cannot be that hard to get a worldwide branded food outlet function even remotely efficiently?

I ordered some food with my mum and dad. And it was cold as ice! My mum thinks they just got the buns out of the freezer and stuffed the chicken in straight away with out heating them up and cold fries!! My chicken was just all fat and chewy. I'm very disappointed with the service and lack of work. They better sort themselves out before losing their job. I won't be coming back!!

Visited on Saturday night at 18:00 and was fairly quiet, two people in from of me ordering then got food (3 meals) to takeaway within 5 minutes, So no complaints about service.

The most awful meal and the worst and slowest service I've ever witnessed. There was a queue when we arrived and still a queue over one hour later. They had to shut the drive thru at 730pm because they couldn't cope. At times we saw 4 staff and then one went outside for a cigarette only to be confronted by an irate female customer. No toilet paper and we got told we'd have to wait as they were to busy to sort out it out,that was until my 4your old started to cry when we told him he couldn't go to the toilet. The waste bin inside the restaurant was overflowing and we witnessed leftover food all over the floor. We ate about 7pm and I still had stomach ache until 11-30am the next day. We will never ever visit this excuse for a restaurant again.

All the reviews on here are bang on! Would be nice if the manager had the balls to defend himself and the restaurant by acknowledging these reviews and responding!!!

We should have guessed by the state of the car park, however we where blinded by hunger .

first visit and the staff didn't seem to care and the amount of rubbish on the floor and tables was not acceptable the member of staff who served me had a shirt on that was filthy and looked like it had not been washed in ages when order taken member of staff starting picking nose.

When I visited took 45 mins to get a bucket of chicken. Tables filthy, old food rubbish on floor. Lazy staff who don't want to lift a finger, let alone serve or clean up. Day later the whole family had food poisoning. Never going again.

We dropped in for coffee and a "quick" snack yesterday; this has to be the slowest fast-food place I've ever been in! Staff were moaning and groaning even though they weren't that busy, the tables were covered in old food and drink cartons and no one ever attempted to clear them. We ordered 2 coffees, a cake and an ice-cream, then waited for half an hour. They muddled up so many orders, the chap next to me pointed out twice he'd already had his drink while waiting for food but they insisted he needed another!

Was the worst meal/experience.....the place was packed with 1 girl taking orders and 2 getting them ready....people constantly being told when getting there meals that certain food was unavailable after ordering it and things were missing from their orders to.....I wanted a coffee, was given something that looked similar but tasted like dirty water....After I complained I was told it should of been stronger rather than weaker....so I was offered a tea....great!!!!

Very busy place as they are serving the drive through as well as the customers coming through the door to eat in. Three people on the tills when I went at 4pm and the queue went down quickly, given a number and then call out to receive meal. Had the small bucket meal and was plenty for the two of us, 6 chicken and 4 chips. Chips went cold quick but that is normal for French fries. Place needed a clean but looks like no one has time to do it as a steady stream of customers coming in.

KFC is supposed to be a 'fast' food restaurant right...? Well we couldn't be more wrong. The queue for food was all the way to the door. One person was serving. There was about 4 people cooking. One member of staff actually asked 2 others to start work early because of how busy they were but they refused... good work ethic eh? We waited around 20 mins to even get served, to this point me and my boyfriends little brother found a seat due to getting bored of waiting. It was then a further 20 mins before our small order of food was ready. 'Finally' I thought. Then I look in the bag to find my meal missing. So I go up to the counter only to get a confused face from an employee who tells me I've gotta wait a few minutes. Will not return again and would advise others to choose another chain if your after quick food.

Worst KFC ever. The place is disgustingly filthy. The staff are complete morons. The entire time we were there the staff were messing about, showing off and generally acting like idiots, which amazes me as the place was a tip! No one was cleaning when we arrived, but half way through our food instead of cleaning the dirty tables a woman insisted on sweeping the floor right near where we were eating, I don't appreciation someone basically on top of you while you are trying to eat!! The food was disgusting, so greasey and the chicken wasn't golden, really pale, needed to be cooked for longer. No large sides so we were given loads of little ones. 20 minutes after eating & leaving I had the most horendous stomach pains and then an upset stomach all night. Will never visit this KFC again or any other for that matter, enough to put me off for life!!!! Vile!!!

OK, so out of all the fast foods I do like a KFC.. (Yes I know there is better out there but we all have our fast food favourites).

Hadn't visited a KFC for a while so paid this one a visit for lunch. Is it me or have they seriously reduced the portion sizes of the chicken? The last time I ordered the original 3 pieces, fries and coleslaw side it seemed to be a reasonably filling meal. Today, I was hungry again within 30 mins! The quality of the meat was poor, it looked pale and unappertizing and the fries were insipid. The staff were friendly enough but the toilets were disgraceful.

This has to be the worst KFC in the country. I have been 3 times. Each time it has been filthy with overflowing bins and every table covered in rubbish. The toilets absolutely stank and were so dirty I could not bring myself to use them. Several items were out of stock and when the food came the fries were soggy and the beans stuck to the tub. There were no paper serviettes available at all - staff said they had run out. KFC is my favourite fast food but having given this branch several chances I will never return. I don't know if KFC's reputation has slipped in the last few years, but if it hasn't then this branch is doing them no favours.
