Food was worst KFC I've ever had the chicken was greasy the.fries horrible it will be first and last time I will go there totally not acceptably

The food we were given was shocking, probably the worst food I've ever been served any where. We called in late as we'd been to the theatre. We ordered an 8 piece boneless meal. The boneless chicken was luke warm to cold at best, soggy and tasteless. Same for the chips and the so called popcorn box. The staff forgot to put the drink bottle in the bag, we called to no avail and went back but they were closed and gone. I don't know why the staff didn't say they were closing and they only had dregs left, as we would have been happy not to take the disgraceful offerings we had paid for. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving what could only be called as second rate dregs. I will never go back to this place again Absolutely disgraceful.

Ordered for our Saturday night take away. After a recent order to eat in following the new adds for the fries, we saw a massive improvement of quality of food. Kids love the new fries! And the gravy always hits! We were missing 2 small items, but we went through uber eats. It was only the Mash.. so weren't overly fused. Well done to the team, we would be regulars again.

The burger was very dry and seemed like it had be left out for quite awhile...after having the food it gave me the runs, tummy ache, nausea, cramps and a headache. Serves me right for eating here I guess...definitely won't be going back in a hurry.

The cleanest KFC I’ve ever visited. Bathrooms, seating area and food prep areas were spotless. The food was also excellent.

Always liked my chicken and chips but I normally would go to other places in town like chicko land because I’ve just been going there for a while but I wanted to try KFC one time and I was not satisfied when I went Chicken was very greasy, seasoning was not as good as I expected considering the hype around the kfc special seasonings All in all, pretty dissapointed !

When in and ordered food which they got the order wrong and missing ingredients, then went to the looe and there is poo all over the outside of the toilet, no looe role and one tab was damaged and one not working. I would understand if they was busy however all 3 members of staff stood around when we entered.

Dear Sirs On a rear occasion we visited the your food take away in Northern Avenue Retail Park, Unit 2 Northern Ave, Andover SP10 4AU, last night at about 8:35, and a number of things came to light that gave us grave concerns. It will be the last time I visit this outlet. We ordered 3 individual chicken meals one of them was a ‘bucket’ of chicken pieces, 9 pieces of chicken. When we were presented with the bucket filled with chicken, and being aware of the lateness of the evening (you close at 21:30), I checked the temperature of the chicken. Although I did not have a temperature probe, it was quite obvious, it was no where near the minimum hot holding temperature even of min of 63. I did question the young girl on the counter what the min temperature should be, only to be told that they work to a temperature of 75 degrees, and that it was not her responsibility as she did not work in the kitchen. She did advise that the chicken in question had been cooked about 30 mins earlier, and that because of the time, they would not be cooking any more than evening. I did not except the food being offered and asked her to replace it. She took it back out into the kitchen were I over heard a conversation about putting it in a microwave to heat it up. The decision was that they could not do this, so the consignment of food was replaced, but this was not much hotter. What I want to know is why there was no consideration for me the customer to have fresh chicken cooked to order, the premises would not be closing for another almost a hour? I would ask the question, do all the persons handling food have a level two food hygiene certificate?, and if so, why are the basic rules not being followed? There seem to be a complete lack of understanding of the basic food hygiene regulations, something that I have raised with the Local Authority this morning. It is of grave concern.

Don’t waste your time or money, all the food was cold and the order was missing a whole meal. Call to complain and it goes straight to voicemail

Ordered a delivery, received something totally different, absolutely shambolic, bordering on fraudulent. Worst cooked food ever. Save your money and go elsewhere. They need to shake up or close down.

Everytime I've ordered there are always items missing. This store never picks up the phone to resolve it and the main customer services refer you back to the store.

Nipped in to grab a takeaway. Staff very disorganised and we had to wait a while for our food. Got home and discovered that my side of sweetcorn should have been taken off of sale at 3:30pm, it was sold to me at 8pm, it had turned brown, it was disgusting. The filet tower burger wasn’t too bad.

First of all drive thru was closed no explanation to why just cones across the road, upon going in, we were greeted by a manager who was screaming at her colleagues for food items to which the whole restaurant could hear. Placed the order. No Pepsi or krushems but wasn’t told until we had paid for our meals. Once we got our food and drove off, we were astounded to see very cold and overly greasy food which meant it was sat out for a while Definitely won’t be returning to this KFC And highly recommend people don’t go either

We popped in for a quick lunch, there was only two other customers in the restaurant so should have been super quick. we placed our orders and sat down to wait, my husband needed the loo so went in the toilets, there was no loo roll so he asked me to get some from the ladies, I went in the ladies but there wasn’t any in there either. The toilets was absolutely covered in poo and broken toilet seats……..gross.I went and asked the man at the counter if he had any toilet roll that I could have, his response was “ I don’t know” I also said to him that the toilets were filthy and covered in poo to which he looked at his colleague and shrugged his shoulders, by now if I hadn’t already ordered I would have left.The restaurant bins were overflowing, rubbish and food all over the floor and tables, baring in mind there was about 6 staff and two customers….not good25 minutes later the food arrived like warm…..yuck. Never once did I see any of the staff do any cleaning or probe the food with a thermometer. If EHO visited this place I’m sure they would be closed down for a deep clean and all staff to be retrained.I will never go to that KFC again

Didn’t have the best experience this evening. Waited in the drive thru for about 40 minutes. It would be nice if the staff apologised for the wait etc - as I think this would be appreciated by customers. After waiting I was handed our food which was packed into the bag really awkwardly. The chips were just thrown on top so they were cold by the time i had got home and not even in the holders, all squashed and the burgers looked like they’d been shaken in the box before we’d opened them - it’s a shame as we went here before Christmas and had a great experience. I do think the customer service needs to be improved & a bit more care with the food needs to be taken.

My kids love KFC, everytime we go, I swear we won't go again, but I'm sticking to it now! Fast food drive thru?! It's quicker to go home and cook it yourself! This has to be the worst drive thru and KFC ever! Everytime we go, they haven't got something like Gravy, pop corn chicken, the ice cream maker is never working and when we asked for dips there was no garlic mayo so they gave us a load of squeezey packets, we should of had 4 dips with our order! The one good thing to come out of this place is I use it for motivation for my kids to do well in school, or they will end up working there! I had to give it a one rating, as there was no zero!

Kids fancied a KFC, we thought we'd treat them. I don't know how but they forgot half of our order!Not just sides here and there but a full meal!!We got home to find our food quite frankly thrown into the bag. They are quick to take your money but you have to wait up to 5 days for a refund.They refuse to answer the phone. Just useless. Fast food isn't rocket science.

Called in 7 th may @ 5 pm ! And a bit of a wait ! We were 7th in queue , took 35 minutes to get our food ! The pay window was closed , so had to pay at collection point ! Once we got our food it was ok ! But will avoid this one in Andover in the future!

The worst chips I’ve ever eaten, hard and greasy, not like the once lovely and crisp chips, the hot chicken wings are the smallest I’ve ever seen, well just about saw them, second chance I’ve given them and now that’s the last, never again.

KFC has been a life line during lockdown I can deal with many things in life but, deny me access to finger lick'in chicken and I'm done. As a regular customer at KFC in Andover (three times a week) I can attest to the high quality of service offered by the staff there - they are brilliant

Visited tonight. Food was OK, very long queue at the drive through. On ordering was told we no longer sell regular Pepsi and only artificially sweetener loaded drinks were available and water. So it's OK to eat there unhealthy fried fast food, my choice, but can't have a drink that contains sugar. You can try one of our new fruit flavoured drinks we introduced instead! If I wanted that I would have asked.

Unable to give a 0/5 hence the 1/5Ordered a bargain bucket and stood waiting, after a few minutes told there was an additional 20minute wait. When I commented it wasn't exactly fast food, "well you want fresh chicken don't you?" was the reply!Least I'll get the money refunded in only 3 to 5 days..Shame, as other KFC restuarants are much better, unfortunately Andover only has the one, best drive to Amesbury.

KFC Used to be the absolute pinnacle of my childhood. Delicious Kentucky fried chicken cooked in hot soothing oil, right after a long school day. Mmmm. water is already gathering in my mouth. Unfortunately it’s gone down hill since my childhood. In the recent past few years it’s really dipped in quality and been an oily mess. I decided to check on it and have a quick meal the other day and it’s improved but it’s still not the high quality meal I expect. I mean a fiver for a blooming burger! That’s not cheap mate!!

Was in a rush so wanted a takeaway. I normally go to McDs but fancied hot cooked chicken.I had a boneless chicken/cardboard meal with watered down Pepsi or something along those lines. I couldn't work out what the other bits of the "meal" were. Flavourless chips, lack of sauces also avaliable.35 minutes for 6 cars to go through the drive thru...Forget this place is even here.HSO need to have a visit.Shut it down.I'm trying to be as fair and as kind as possible but I'm not going to stretch the truth....Any photos of this would break my phone screen.

Every time I’ve come here there’s been an issue. Cold food. Run out of food or just general awful service in the food area which till staff get the brunt of to the point where they’re made to cry. Hour long waits in drive thru and in store. Flies all over the place and cold food. Literally never been there and not had a problem

I gave this place one last chance this evening. It was pathetic. The food was cold, bun was stale with no salad or mayo there was no gravy (again) so opted for beans but hey they were cold to ! The lady on the front counter appeared relatively new but was trying her best. Staff in the food prep area where rude and a total let down to the KFC brand.Management really need to look at this place - it’s a disgrace.Don’t even bother with it - Drive to the Amesbury branch and enjoy KFC as you should be able to

We visited this KFC yesterday after rerouting from the M4.... This KFC was the first fast food place we came across and it leaves a lot to be desired! The food was OK but there was no hot coffee and the hygiene was TERRIBLE. The loo's floors were soaking wet , there was toilet paper strewn all over the place in the gents... The bins were full up & over flowing with rubbish in the main seating area of the restaurant and top top it all off it was pretty cold in there too! Needless to say we won't be visiting this establishment again.

Where to start. The last 3 times I have been to this kfc I have left empty handed. I'm currently writing this sat in the que which I've been in 30 mins and I'm at the front of the que. 4 cars behind me have turned round and left. I'm sat watching staff through windows do absolutely nothing.. I payed for my food in cash as no card machines working yet again and got change as usual in a first full of change.so I all in all its now taken 50 mins from start to finish to get my food what an absolute joke. Do not use this kfc I've never seen such a shambles

Very poor service. A very long wait, both in the restaurant and the drive through. It appears there is a shortage of staff and those that are there don’t really want to be it seems.

So 3 years consistently, this place has had nothing but “Bad” reviews! No proper management in place! Mostly teenagers working there trying to run the place! And they work hard! But not disciplined! So therefore not managed properly & chaotic! Management & the franchise owner clearly doesn’t care about their staff nor customers! 3 years & absolutely no improvements whatever! KFC Headquarters shut it down! Your doing your reputation no favours! Such a shame!

I never knew a KFC could be so bad,Food was way too greasy, service was very slow (was not busy), food was luke warm (Except the gravy which was boiling hot and tasted bad)Also the staff were really loud and swearing when talking colleague to colleague not very professional.One of the member of staff also didn't know some of the meals.

Went in today to collect lunch with my husband it wasn't busy at all but we waited over 20 minutes for our food after ordering on the screens which after seeing the lack of cleaning in the place I now regret using the screens! The girl packing the food couldn't get any slower putting one thing in and then wandering off to chat! This was made worse by some bloke who doesn't work there who came in for a chat distracting the already slow staff! He could see there was a queue waiting but that didn't matter to the middle aged percy weirdo chatting ul the staff! Food was cold when we got home and we live 5 mins away at the most. Never had such service in a kfc before, firstly Spotify being played and speakers in the kitchen, staff all on phones, even rolling fags behind the counter. Worst place ever

We walk in and there is a que. Not to fussed, but after 20 we had moved one place so we go outside to go through the drive thru and again, 20 mins one place moved. My son goes to the toilet as we have been waiting for ages. He comes back and tells me I found a poo on the floor. I thought he was lying so I ignored it but another 20 mins later I also needed the toilet and there it was, a poo lying right next to the toilet. I was 90 percent sure it was fake so I got the toilet brush and I can tell u it wasn’t fake. I am never going there again and now have ptsd whenever I go to a kfc toilet.

Since the re-opening when the improvements were amazing, this place has gone slowly down the pan again. I've been noticing it for a while now but I think tonight might be my last trip until I hear anything to persuade me to try again.

This place is so under staffed its unbelievable the poor guy was not only serving the front desk but also the drive through and one cooking the food as far as I could see only two staff members on duty. There was a people waiting inside as well as in the drive through. Drive through 20 minutes wait on Friday. Weekday s are like 5-10 minutes wait. They blame on staff change over every time.

Since moving to Andover I can no longer have KFC, not because there isn't one (as you can of course see) but because it makes me sick!

Says online until 11 but have to go through drive-thru... Didn't know what to order, therefore had to guess, shouldn't advertise if you aren't open for pick up... Also when trying to gain attention from staff, no acknowledgment. You can spend xo amount on refurb but your staff, maybe need to rethink...

I only occasionally indulge in a KFC, on both occasions visiting Andover KFC the quality of food was really poor, badly prepped and cold. Clearly this branch needs to be audited internally so standards improve. I hate submitting bad reviews but this KFC deserves it.

I try not to go here, it's always bad. My daughter forced me to come, 20 minutes waiting for the drive through.

Found hairs in my chicken and my fries were basically stone cold. Staff are damn right rude and all need a reality check!

We went through the drive-thru this afternoon as we were hungry and the food was just terrible the chicken was tiny and to be honest the queue was long and it was rubbish.

Turned up to the Andover kfc store at half 9 where it is clearly marked on the door that the store closes at 10. I was greeted by a very rude young man in a black shirt, guessing he was a manager or a team leader, to say that the store was closing early due to there being no food. Completely outrageous I know. How does a major fast food chain have no food it is beyond me. I would not recommend this place to the devils child completely disgraceful service. No notice was posted prior to this it even had a sign saying “the chicken is back”. Ironic isn’t it?

No kids meals............... No Coffee.............No BBQ Sauce.... But they had chicken !!!!!! Cost more as I had to buy adult meals for the children.... MAYBE this is why limited menu only.... To recoup their losses during the "chicken shortage. Won't be going back

I have visited this drive through on several occasions and each time remember why I said to.myself never again. When I last visited the drive through took 1/2 hour to go through even though there were only 3 cars ahead of me. When I placed my order I got home and unpacked. The same issue had happened. Although I ordered from the menu I didn't get all of what was listed. No popcorn chicken this time. No dips last time and time before no 1.5 litre Pepsi max just two SMALL cokes that were not the same quantity as the bottle. When I tried to put my thoughts on the KFC website Andover wasn't even listed. Rubbish service and staff that don't know how to say " sorry to keep you waiting a long time" pull your finger out bad service is not acceptable.

A very tiring and exhausting day as we had moved house. We go to get some food, turn up asking for a family feast only to be told there were no drinks available and when we asked what they would do and if they would offer a replacement ie an extra side since it was apart of the package we were paying for, they refused saying that they expect the same amount of money without being able to offer a package. So we left deciding to get a Chinese instead.

There is noway the chicken had been seasoned, it tasted like plain battered chicken. If they cannot provide what the menu displays then they should advise customers, waste of money!

I entered the shop to see no customers. No one in the drive through. A man said for me to wait and just walked off.

Long queues, both on drive through and inside

I know this is a drive through , but having been before I find it best to park and go inside, then you can see what is going in the bucket and it is usually quicker. I am not quite sure how the chips and the chicken can get so cold just walking 10 metres back to the car.

I had the 3-pieces meal, which is what I have invariably ordered at other KFCs over the past couple of decades.

I love kfc but unfortunately this one is the worst i have ever been to,the chicken is disgusting not sure what this one does with it,chips cold,not to sure what staff training there is there if any,i have been to some excellent kfc but very this is very disappointing and will not be going back again until they get there act together and make the place friendly and the food actually edible.

I have to agree with others that this KFC is among the worst! I keep giving it a 'second chance' because quite frankly the choice of restaurants/takeaways in Andover is very limited. If there were some decent alternatives and competition I'm sure this place would have probably closed ages ago, or at least they would have put a manager in place who is capable of making this place into a really good restaurant that many other KFC's are.

Yesterday ordered a mighty bucket for one, The chicken literally had grease dripping off of it. The chips were cold and as usual the service was slow.

Popped it in half term with my daughters on a warm day for ice cream! Have not been to KFC in a long time as it's never been that great! But i was pleasantly surprised fast service, staff were happy and smily and we all enjoyed our ice cream!

Staff are always friendly and food is always fresh definitely one of the better fast food outlets: very clean and tidy. Definitely worth a quick bite to eat if in a hurry

I had a bad experience a year ago, you can probable find my review. A year later I finally returned and what a difference. I love a bit of KFC and this restaurant has had a refurb since I last visited. It's clean and modern. The service is much improved, the staff much friendly and actually competent. The food is quick as you expect from fast food (although these days all fast food joins seem to be getting slower). It's a KFC so delivers what you expect, but well and to be fair better then most!

Only visited because I had an hour "to kill" around lunchtime whilst in the area. Next time I'll find somewhere else for a lunchtime snack. Chips were ok - typical KFC - but the chicken was far too dry and not enjoyable. The staff gave the impression that they didn't care about customer service. I've been to other KFCs that are considerably better!

Very poor quality drive through food and 50% of the order was missing which wasn't discovered until I arrived home. I certainly wouldn't go back while there was somewhere else serving food in Andover.

We had nice chicken, but the fries were very bland. Unfortunately the Tuesday special advertised on tv wasn't available at this outlet. The staff were friendly and helpful. A cheap meal.

Stopped for lunch today and we've never been somewhere so disgusting to eat! This KFC has put me off for life, the food was just slapped together with no regard to any presentation. We had to wipe our table down due to it being so dirty. The floors didn't look like they'd been cleaned for a week. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Normally a big fan of KFC but from the service to the quality of the food this is a real let down.You can tell this is badly managed and standard of staff is low given the awful food served on more than a couple of occasions now, hence this negative review. Pay peanuts get monkeys. More care needs to be taken on every level from food prep and hygiene to customer service.

We were driving back from a week's holiday, stopping at KFC Andover. Being a regular at other KFC branches, I expected the same consistent standards. Boy was I appalled.Staff was totally inflexible in dealing with customers. We purchase 10 piece meals which comes with four portions of fries which my family is not likely to finish eating, so I requested to swap two fries with other sides. I also requested to have drumsticks and thighs because my kids like those. Both requests were refused. As a regular customer, I have been to at least 3 other KFC branches in the south-east England -- even in overseas KFC franchises, these requests are usually obliged. The toilets were barely clean and utterly filthy. I have been to toilets in 3rd world countries and the toilets in this KFC branch comes close to them. My conclusion is that this particular KFC Andover branch is a bad apple. The new management have more work to do I am afraid.

Getting food from here WAS one of the most disgusting experiences I've ever had.Hats off to whoever has taken this place over and turned it round. I thought I'd give it a try now that it's under new management and was very impressed. Polite staff and super fast service. I vowed I'd never get a KFC in here again but my mind is changed. I'm really pleased as I like a KFC every now and then.

Previously I expressed my disgust in the worst KFC experience at this branch, but since it's been under new management, I've been there a few times without any problems! Food is fresh, restaurant is cleaner and service much better! It's now on par with what you can expect from a takeaway restaurant.

Lets start with the good point, first it has gotten better since we last went, the staff took more on board what was actually the order, yes they do still get it wrong and last time they forgot out chicken popcorn and a few other bits just make sure you check before leaving. I like now how they do the Rio bites they should have them all the time they are something to look forward to.

Staff have trouble with listening to your order and mumble at you, fries were cold, dry and hard. The restaurant(haha) had dirty tables and floor, when a member of staff did eventually clean and empty the bin he went back behind the counter without washing his hands, continuing to serve customers, we were disgusted at this lack of basic hygiene. This is the worst KFC we have been to and is desperately in need of a visit from the food hygiene inspectors!!!!

Probably one of the worst places to eat if you value customer service and hygiene. Have attempted to eat here on multiple occasions. Never again. Normally KFC is alright for fast food. But this place hires some of the rudest, laziest kids in Andover. My friends and I have all gotten sick from eating here at least once each. Which can only be attributed to poor food handling skills.

Visited this place on the evening of the 23.2.2016, one person in front of me so not what you could call a queue, well guess how long it took me to get served, 20 minutes.The staff do not care a jot, to busy amusing themselves , two people came and complained about the food they had received at the drive thru while I was waiting, one asked for the manager who was told that the food was cold and he blamed it on the buns that had been used in the chicken burgers that should have been enough to make turn round and walk out, but I was hungry so took my turn, well the food was stone cold only one piece of chicken in my " Mighty Bucket ", the drink was flat as poured from a bottle that had been open since Christmas I think. Do not go near this place its a complete waste of your hard earned cash go over the road to Teco's and buy a sandwich instead.Note to KFC Head Office - you should shut this place its a disgrace to the KFC name.

Visited once said I wouldn't go back but for pure laziness have paid the price. Very poor quality offering, expensive for what it is. Had a couple of pieces of chicken some hot wings and fries. The hot wings were larger than the chicken pieces... I kid you not! Fries were soggy and tiny portions, all was tasteless. They couldn't even be bothered to put in any salt or napkins or even the wet wipe! Last time I went there I had 6 pieces of chicken and they gave them to me in one of the bags they use for fries! Never again!

Wish I had gone to McDonalds. There were only 3 groups in the restaurant when we arrived and all of them were complaining. I should have left. It was painful, one lady returned her hot chocolate as it was not warm, the obvious solution seemed to be to replace it. But that's not what happened, no one seemed to do anything and the lady later asked for a refund. Even then the manager poped out from where ever he was hiding and see me to do nothing either leaving the 3 clueless till staff standing there doing nothing. As the only people wait ing for food in tea restaurant, after 20mins I asked for my food. Seeing as their food order screen had need cleared. The girl looked at me blankly, I had to tell her what I was waiting for (I still never got my full order, but had to leave). I asked for my money to be told my food was actually there so I could not have my money back. The girl just kept telling me it was not her fault as she had not taken my order. I have up, left without my wings I had told her about and she did nothing about. It was painful to watch, I did my get my full order that I had paid for. I like KFC but the one in Andover I would avoid. It was disappointing and the staff seemed not to have a clue what they were doing and no sign at all of any management / leadership

I can't say I'm a fan of KFC, it's never something that floats my boat. But this branch is by far and away the worst establishment I've eaten in.The service is shoddy, the food is actually disgusting. It appears to be hit and miss if you actually get the order you place.After using the drive through and realising my order was incorrect, I ventured inside.. dodging passed the debris consisting of partially eaten popcorn chicken bits and general waste.Eventually got served by someone who really couldn't have cared less about my issue.. and to be fair, when you get paid minimum wage to serve me greasy chicken, why would you care? Fair play.We all know fried chicken is bad, it's the gamble we take...but this stuff is very bad.

I went though the drive though at lunch time today. I ordered a boneless banquet meal for one. When I opened up the box I received it had three chicken fillets although one of them looked as though it had been half eaten and had ketchup all over it even though I hadn't had any ketchup. It completely put me off my meal.Revolting.

Takes ages to get served. Always running out of items from the menu. place is dirty. Chicken is greasy compared to other branches. A let down to the KFC brand.
