Kfc in Welwyn Hatfield

Disgusting staff made me look stupid because they got order wrong ! Ordered a Might Bucket for one when I got to pay she wanted £!7 !! When I told thats not right she started talking about a APP ? I ordered just now on drive thru ? Then another clueless member of staff asked whats wrong whilst another member of staff stood behind her laughing ! In the end I gave up as none of the staff had a clue what I was talking about.Awful place avoid

Ordered off just eat. Said order was delivered. No delivery made. Drove to the restaurant to be told it wasn't their problem. The manager is clueless and has to learn a thing or 2 about customer service. Told me I had to contact just eat and she gave the order to the driver and it is on the CCTV so they are covered. No attempt to help me. Gave me a bogus contact number which refers back to the app. No goodwill. As a hospitality veteran, you re make the order and claim from the partner. That is standard practice. She said it wasn't her problem and she had customers to serve! Am I not a customer? Went on 29th March at around 830pm. Would like to report this manager as she doesn't deserve to face customers. I left the restaurant out of pocket and no food. Ridiculous and unfair. She said that they have had similar issues this week and other customers have never said that they didn't eventually get their order! Am I a liar too? Why would I leave my wife and baby to drive to Hatfield to pick up my order if it had been delivered. Never again KFC Hatfield, avoid. Don't spend a penny on them

Stay home and cook. This KFC is useless, I cringe when my friends or family choose this place as a treat. Missing items every time we use the drive thru, how can you order meals and not get fries for two of them? Or order a tower burger with no hash brown? Wrong drinks! The list goes on. Also the food is never nice cold fries and messy burgers. Avoid this place don't give them your money.

Wanted meal used (unhygienic) touch screens…which froze during use so I gave up and approached counter staff. Told I must use screens and that counter service was for cash only Disinterested, dismissive, discourteous… Guess what kfc…no sale made Walked away…x

I called their phone, no one picked up for 15minutes. When they finally picked up, they put the phone down and now can’t get through to them. when ever I order they always miss out my drink. There line has been busy for 40 minutes now because they are yet to put down the phone. There’s a reason why they work in kfc.

Hi,I went to KFC in Hatfield, first of all, my fries were hard I spoke to the staff on the window and I was told them that these fries were hard. She proceeded to tell me that this is how the fries of our obviously I’ve been to KFC before and I’ve never got that quality before so I asked her to change it. I then got home and the piece of chicken I got was burnt and dried this is ridiculous I spent £4.49p. I was better off going to mc Donald because that’s what I’m just going to do now.

Just went to The drive through tonight was told there was no fizzy drinks (not a problem for me) paid for the food only to have the exceptionally rude girl throw the bag of food through my car window at me. I’m not after a refund or compensation, I just hate unnecessarily rude behaviour for no reason. I like KFC the food always great but she has really let herself and the whole Hatfield store down. Please have a word with her, this isn’t acceptable! Visited 8:45pm

Quite easy to order via the Ubereats app. Took about 40 minutes to get to us...the food was warm and tasty! Only downside was one of our box inclusive weren't in the box however, we raised this via the app and was giving a reasonable refund! :)

Decided to eat in for lunch. The site is very co-vid aware with queuing restrictions and some seating closed off. The food was ok as normal and service good. Could not ask for much more really!!

Restaurant pays attention to social distancing. Food well cooked and hot, although they didn’t provide a spork to eat the side. No other complaints.

In the chain of fast food customer service, I don’t think there’s more annoying thing of getting out of home, driving 15 minutes, wait another 15 in the queue of the drive through and go home to find out your meal is incomplete! If you are doing your job people, make sure you do it right, otherwise simply change or stay home. Are the fries on the burger no part of the meal?? O.o Did I pay 6 pounds only for the burger and the drink? Come on guys, a little effort.

Usually have no problems with KFC. Ordered the 12 piece dipping boneless feast as usual from UberEats. Arrived very quickly but was missing the popcorn chicken, all of the sauces and 2 lots of fries. Called up KFC and they eventually picked up the phone. They were unable to rectify the problem that they had done and said they were unable to deliver the missing items. Absolute outrageous!

My husband ordered a bucket of 9 pieces of chicken for £5.99(Tuesday deal) together with some other things to takeaway on Tuesday. He didn't check the amount of charge and paid used a contactless card. When I checked the receipt, noticed they put 8 chicken pieces not 9, and charged £9.99 as 8 pieces is not a deal by mistake (or deliberately?). In the bucket there were 9 pieces so definitely the girl took his order knew he ordered bucket of 9.When he went back to get money (£4.00) back, the manager said he couldn't do anything!!We were ripped off! Be careful with this Hatfield branch!

Always good in here. Grandma nicked my kebab and I fancied fast food so went to KFC. Please my service and ok food. Could do with a bit of a clean, they don’t seem to clear the tables in there.

Placed a multi order at drive through at 18.10 pm after 10 minute wait.They took my order and I paid, after a 5 minute wait at the window I was told to park as a food item was not ready. 15 minutes later, food arrived less drinks, requested the drinks and waited {should have checked food order while waiting} 15 minutes later, no drinks, I then went into the restaurant and requested to see the duty manager. 5 minutes later I had to raise my voice to see the manager, He appeared and looked at me with disdain, I described the appalling service and where was my coffee. He did not apologize and said the coffee machine was not working I enquired when was I be be notified. no answer, I asked for a refund but was refused .Chris duty manager. He clearly did not care so I left, when I arrived home it transpired the food order was completely wrong and cold. If you wish to be humiliated and require the worst customer service, then please make this kfc your first choice! Lest restaurant at 18.58! Stuart.

My son and I visited the Hatfield branch around 11.50. The waiting times both inside and drive through were far too long taking us nearly 15 minutes to order and collect the food. Inside was a huge queue of Deliveroo and just eat drivers and drive through where we eventually chose had one lady operating the menu request through the speak to unit, cash taking and serving my food. She said staff only just arrived to help as it was too early

I've lived in Hatfield for over 20-years and I have to say this KFC is the worst the Welwyn Garden one is much better the Hatfield branch every time you order food the bread always tastes a bit dry or off. the chips are always cold and soggy.one time I got a drink and the drink tasted like water there's no care in their food is disgusting and management does not care at all I ordered from there before xmas and my food turned up 1-hour and 10 minutes with no apology soggy

Been here a couple of times.1st time:- I wanted to swap a drink in a meal as we don't do fizzy, sugar laden drinks - server agreed when I ordered. After I paid I was told I couldn't have what they had agreed and the swap became ridiculous. It was only when I threatened to just drive off (with a refund) that common sense (and a big compromise on my part) prevailed with whoever was the supervisor (they didn't talk to me just let the poor server get on with it - to be fair, he was apologetic).- we were given no napkins or handwipes (this was drive through)- we were offered no sauces- a whole meal was missing - I had to drive back, park up, walk into the restaurant in the rain, queue up, explain what was missing, wait for it to be cooked, return to car, by which time it meant the original food was now cold.2nd time:- waiting for ages at the speaker at the drive through - so long I thought it must not be working - I was about to drive on when a voice came on- at the paying booth again we had to wait a while as the server was chatting on the headset - no apology or explanation. Original server just walked off leaving it to someone else. She had to be reminded about our drinks.- not offered any sauces- after the experience the first time I decided I would rather wait until I got home and have a sandwich - I daresay next time we just won't bother.Shame as the food, when you get it, is actually quite edible.

Cold and soggy chips, Chicken greasy and the coating had no flavour. The whole meal was uneatable. Very disappointed will never eat here again.

Saturday night about 10.05 at driveby. Ordered 1 zinger with cheese and chips, 3 piecies of breast (only had 2 piece so gave me this and strips) 1 gravey, 1 beans total £12.72. Only 1 portion of soggy cold chips given. Plus chicken and burger was cold and unappertising. Rip off.

Staff couldn't care less. Is a smile too much to ask these days? Food was standard, but packaging squashed the food and wasn't very hot. Checkout chap called everyone 'boss' - is that a thing?

Just thrown my meal away. If what you’ve just served me is supposed to constitute food, then I rather go without. Cold soggy chips and dry chicken... yum! To be fair you’ve done me a favour, I’ll never eat in one of your establishments again, so thank you!

KFC have still not sorted out their supply problems, to the extent that on my visit there were no hot wings or fillet burgers available. Neither were coffee, 'Krushems' or coleslaw!

Ordered a wicked variety bucket to take away because my son only eats the fillet. Guess what??? They did not pack the fillet!!! Only to discover it after we arrived home and everyone seated at the dinner table. Totally ruined our Saturday night lazy dinner!! Phoned them and they offered to ask me to collect it! Does it solve the problem?? No!!! Stupid stuffs and stupid management!! Don’t go there again!

Have visited this KFC a few times before but after yesterday's experience never again......... went through the drive through and ordered a plain chicken fillet burger which means just the chicken and bun - no mayonnaise or lettuce. What did the staff at KFC do - instead of making a fresh chicken burger to order they scrapped out the mayonnaise and lettuce!!!!!!!!!! Leaving half the skin of the chicken missing and the remainder of the mayonnaise on the other and also some left over lettuce!!!!!!!! Plus the chicken was so old and brown inside it was absolutely discussing. Never again.

Me pareció que realmente no necesita para asegurar que el pollo que se pide es cocinado como en la mayoría de las veces que he estado aquí es bastante cálido y no como KFC debe ser. Asimismo el otro día 3 piezas de pollo eran costillas pollo plana unida y no es el típico de las porciones de pollo anunciado.

It's a normal looking KFC but with a nice Town area outside. The food is well served to and tasty, it has a great space inside and flooring, walls are very well designed and it's the top Hertfordshire KFC.

Popped in here for lunch whilst on a course Dirty and crowded restaurant, greasy and partly inedible chicken burger. Poor uncaring service. Not just a KFC, but a bad one at that.

Fuimos a la orden. Espera unos 10 minutos antes de ser 'dijo "que ya había sido dada mi comida. Claramente, no tenía. Este había sido dado a otro cliente. Ninguna disculpa. 10 minutos después estoy dado mi orden. Sólo al llegar a casa y descubrir que su falta de una cosa y la otra es incorrecta. La calidad de la comida era pobre. Hamburguesa pan duro y rancio. Parecía que había sido improvisado y triturado. La comida estaba muy fría. Si pudiera ser molestado, habría vuelto a conseguir el resto de mi comida, pero ese tipo de derrotas el propósito de un restaurante de comida rápida.

Went to the drive thru at Hatfield KFC and having read bad reviews was cautious. Didn't take too long to get through even though there were 4 cars in front. The guy on the speaker was very helpful offering advice on the cheapest way to buy things when I asked for each item (EG. When asking to add 4 hot wings, advised you could add 8 for £1 extra and when adding a cup drink, advised you could add a bottle for less money as we were buying a bucket which were deals we were unaware of) when we drove round and picked up the food and paid the man there was polite and offered sauces etc. Everything was in the bag as ordered and the food was as KFC should be. Can't fault them. Good food and good service.

This evening I thought I'd treat my family to a KFC, on my way home from work I popped into this branch.

Possibly the nicest looking KFC in Britain, with possibly the best chicken too. A listed building full of character serving moist but not greasy fried chicken with polite and efficient staff. Excellent!

as always kfc does good food, typical fast food, however the place is in dire need of a re-vamp, so outdated, doesn't make you want to sit in and eat.

How can you complain about chicken and chips. Always hits the spot!! They now have plenty of staff which makes the service quicker. Only let down is the car park is narrow and you can't get out when the drive thru is busy as they block you in.

It's strange as I used to be in security and that was the security hut yea it's ok pleasant staff food what u would expect from a KFC have used it quite a lot

Just been refitted but I found the service to be painfully slow and they have devised some kind of system which to me appears to be fragmented and disorganised.ordered a 2 piece meal with beans and the beans where overheated , hard and horrible. Come on kfc , you've been around a long time, you can do better than that

As a lover of KFC we popped in for dinner on our way home and despite the restaurant being quiet and there being plenty of staff serving they managed to muck up our order. We ordered the 12 piece Deluxe Boneless Feast, which should have had a £3 discount with my Colonels Club Card, to eat in. They did not discount the price and our meal was packed for takeaway so we had to ask for plates and cups. Food was great but service appalling.

We have always used the drive through. Always nice and hot. Nice and quick, chicken is very nice. Would recommend this KFC.

The restaurant is closed so drive through only . That meant pedestrians standing in road between cars placing their orders not very safe.

this particular KFC has a good parking place, 1.5 hours maximum stay, and its near the police station and travelodge hotel. the service is prompt, and there are almost always free spots to sit. it also has benches for outside eating.

Normally I wouldn't bother reviewing a KFC but three times in a row I've not been given my full order, either chips or gravy are missing each time.Store was notified each time but clearly no training is undertaken as it keeps happening.CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE DRIVE-THRU

I thought to stop for the first time in this nice art deco KFC. Was visiting Hatfield. Lovely sunset. But then ... out of the blue. at WT.... moment. They sent me a parking fine. This is an utter joke! Even considering the car park was half empty! This is very infuriating!

Ordered my food at the drive through, whilst paying a rat ran across in front of the car. Once I got the food home, the chicken was very dry and discoloured, it seemed 'off'. We decided to throw it all away and put something in the oven. This isn't the first time we have been unhappy at the quality of food from KFC Hatfield.The only positive, the staff were very polite and friendly.

The standard at Hatfield KFC was 'average to poor', but we have given it a second chance, and discovered the service, speed and staff friendliness are now much improved. Queue time was low, drive through seemed to be moving well too. The food was hot and fresh, extra mayonnaise was happily handed over.

The chicken was ok, the sauces are the best thing. A rat ran past the car 30 yards away, not that I'm saying there are rats there!! Just not a great place. But it's kfc

As part of the colonels club I came here with high hopes. Order a 10 pce bargain bucket and wings with extra chips. As a take away I thought all fine but wry disappointed with no receipt. They forgot the extra chips and didn't apply the offer donor happy with this branch of kfc

Very busy KFC with drive-thru; food generally good although service variable. Next door to the Police station (Lucky plod gets a discount!) so local Barry-boys kept in check. (Google Barry boys, its hilarious!) Place an order, server walks away then returns and asks 'what I am waiting for'! The food order I just gave you numb n*ts! Yes its salty and not best for your health but still a tasty treat. Dear Colonel, please empty the bins BEFORE they overflow, clean the tables a bit more often and refill the soap in the loos. You get what you pay for so no serious gripes; a reasonably priced, quick tasty treat.

It's a third time now when i've ordered a meal (and i'm not buying there very often) and after coming back home discovered that items are missing or they are wrong. If there is more people like me, probably KFC is making great profit stealing our money. Never again. Favourite Chicken is much better and portions bigger

Got a take away from here tonight and my filet burger smelt and tasted like stale tabacco, maybe from staff smoking and not washing their hands? Who knows. Plus the fries had black specks on them that turned out to be the remains of a burnt chip that was in the bottom of the box. The final straw was the lid not put properly on the drink cup that my youngest had, ending up as a carpet with a drink all over it. Thanks KFC for a terrible meal and the stress of carpet cleaning after a long day at work. Fast food is meant to be quick and convenient, the payoff for not cooking; not the case this time

Visited with family. Food was good but a bit too salty. It was busy but service was fast. Had to ask for ketchup etc. I wish they would have dispensers.As good as any other fast food place.

Shame this restaurant isn't so finger licking good. If you want to get indigestion park up and go in to eat...you only get an hour and a half before you get a parking ticket of £60 from a company that KFC don't have any control over. It will probably take you longer than that for them to get your order correct, and one day (maybe) my food will be wrapped up properly for me to take how hot!!!! Over the road is Mcdonalds and that is where we go now for our treat!!!!

Chicken is just processed rubbish and the "special seasoning" is only special in the sense of how do you make deep fried-something wet and soggy? Not saying all KFC is bad but this particular outlet isn't on it's game.

the staff behind the counter could hardly speak english and the food was refried and dry, the tables were not cleaned off, and there were people going in and out all the time behind the counter and disrupting the staff who were working.

The best thing about Hatfield KFC is the architecture.As for the actual KFC... Not so great. Late visits have proven unfruitful, and regularly one has to prompt the staff for things like sauce, receipts and other complimentary tat.If you wanted ambiance, flair, originality and fine food... Why are you going to KFC ? If you want good cheap friend chicken in a tub with a bottle of pop... BINGO !! :-D

We were regular visitors to this KFC but recently have had cause to complain to head office on more than one occasion and have been ignored by them too!They had a staff member serving food with a full beard but no net covering..They ran out of chicken and turned a restaurant full of customers away saying no chicken for 30 minutes.. This was at 7.30pm on a Sunday night and chicken in a chicken restaurant that is open until 11pm should be on a continual turn round.The front staff have to do the milkshakes and ice creams for the drive through so if the drive through is busy and it is warm, the restaurant customers don't get served because everyone is serving drive through customers.There is a very unpleasant staff member who has recently been promoted to wearing a black shirt, she was very pleasant to everyone but is now just plain rude!

Order a wicked bucket with hot wings but staff offer me extra hot wings as an add on a bit strange when have 8 all ready in bucket so surprise being asked but apart from that it was all okay

Visited today. The manager kept on swearing at customers in her language (which unlucky for her, I understood due to being from the same nationality), she was very rude to her colleagues and kept on shouting across the restaurant. In the addition to that, she closed off the toilets an hour before the restaurant was due to shut, and locked the door at 22:50 (closing time 23:00), whilst we were still there eating. In addition to that, this door was marked as a fire exit. Absolutely terrible!

Amazing drive through, located next to police station so don't do a runner or chicken out (lol!)clean and about 5 mins from the A1M so easy to get to.Loads of parking as well
