Worst KFC ever! We called into his KFC for the first and last time. Although food is served fairly quickly the standard was poor, No juicy white chicken just pale grey greasy meat.the indoor bins were full with waste and the unisex toilets disgusting . I don’t want to share a toilet with a man who pees on the floor and over the pan Avoid this restaurant at all costs

Seriously, avoid this place at all costs. My wife, 14 year old son and I arrived here at 6pm on a Monday. We were served quickly. The food was awful. Chicken appeared undercooked, lukewarm and very pale in colour. It was also tasteless. Chips were also lukewarm. Potion sizes were pathetic; extremely small. Cost; £23. Now I’m fully appreciative that £23 is not a lot in today’s world, but what we received was worth no more than a tenner. The only positive was the cherry coke, which was tasty. My wife then visited the toilet. In each of the three mixed-sex cubicles the seats were completely covered in urine. Is this because us men can’t be bothered to lift the seat before we pee? She did not/could not use the toilet. Instead she used the disabled/baby-changing toilet, which, she said was not much better. We did not complain to the young people who were busy working behind the counter. However, for an established company like KFC this restaurant needs serious help. It was a disgrace. I repeat, avoid this place at all costs.

We purchased food for the family on Saturday 21st as it was my grandson’s birthday so it was his choice. All seemed fine until a couple of hours when one by one we were suffering severe stomach cramps, sickness & diarrhoea all except one who hadn’t eaten any kfc off work & school until today. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!!

This KFC seems to server the freshest chicken I've never been here and had cold food and the staff are friendly with hardly any waiting to get service

We live locally and so have used KFC and other places regularly and have to say this is one of the best run. Staff are ALWAYS helpful and friendly, Service always fast and professional and food is very good and general hygiene excellent. I think people moaning here often forget the staff are mostly younger people and credit where it’s due- they work hard and especially during busy periods they run so efficiently! If you want a contrast try the other chains opposite side of the road and it’ll put into perspective how brilliant the team at KFC are. We personally have never experienced any staff being grumpy or slow with service… personally think they should be commended on doing such a great job! Really pleased to have this team as our local one. Thank you.

We have been to a few KFC's in our time and this was far the best. The food was hot & not greasy. The young members of staff were very friendly and polite. Never thought I would give a KFC a 5*. We both had the Trilogy Box meal.

Soggy cold chips, they were replaced by warm soggy greasy chips. Most went in the bin. I thought the idea of chains is uniformity of offering. Something wrong in Ross

Staff really polite and the food was really great today. We had a bargain bucket food was piping hot and truely yummy.

It was closed for ages for a revamp and because of lockdown, but now it's reopened I went back to get our usual Family Feast. What a disappointment, the food was lukewarm and the anti-Covid measures were worryingly absent. Waiting in line (2 metres apart) is OK by me as my husband is "vulnerable", but despite the notices asking for face coverings to be work about half the people were not. The guy in front of me apologised to the girl on the door , who blithely said "That's OK , lots of people don't!" She wasn't wearing a mask or visor either. The serving area was better, but the staff behind the counter were all over the place and only had plastic gloves. When it eventually arrived and I took it home ( 5 minutes drive) the chicken was fine, but the chips were lukewarm and soggy and the beans had to be heated in our microwave. The final straw was when I took the bucket out of the bag, its side split, the bottom fell out and chicken pieces went all over the worktop and the floor. Our cat was well pleased. We weren't.

Food was normal KFC standard. Service was poor cleanliness was very bad. When we got order we had no cups no plates or napkins r knife and folks. Table was filthy and we had to ask for it to be cleaned bins were over flowing.

Really disappointed kfc, despite signage reminding your customers that they must be masked upon entering your premises to order food, every over customer in line waiting to order was not masked even though you had someone masked on the door while they were entering. My self and a few overs were shocked and confused as to why your member of staff was not concerned. Kind of ruined our return trip home after a few safe days away.

This was abysmal, the chicken was only bones, no meat, EXTREEMLY DRY overcooked , cold, bad flavour, tiny portions of fries. Pretty much served fried, cold bones. The coleslaw was terrible, tasted old.

Re opened following revamp and COVID shut down....called take out only very nice meal. Restaurant was clean tidy and had social distancing covered.

At one time this place was like a lot of KFC's you'd have the occasional off visit but for the most part it was good. I'm really not sure what's happened to this one; sometime ago the staff all changed to european girls and guys and it became shockingly bad overnight! Since then another staff change doesn't seem to have corrected the problem. The restaurant is cold, the service is slow and lacks the focus and speed of their competitors. It certainly doesn't feel professional or customer focused. 'Aimless, unenthusiastic and vague' would perhaps describe the feeling. On many occasions we have ordered the family feast only to have a bucket full of drumsticks and thighs (no ribs, no breast pieces ever!) Greasy, overfloured and whoever is putting the seasoning on the Christmas fries today might as well have thrown the entire seasoning tub in. Pretty inedible. It makes me wonder sometimes if the staff don't pick the better pieces of chicken for themselves and just go through the motions with customers. I'd like to think not - as for the cleanliness its improved slightly, been a while since I risked going into the toilets here so I can't comment on that. The seasoning, straws and forks counter is as usual barren; no hand wipes, had to ask 3 times for napkins. Took 2 attempts to explain to the guy why we wanted an empty cup for our bottle of Pepsi. Ergh! Sorry KFC - I am really on the verge of not coming back here ever again.

Disgusting and sat on loo as I type after the meal earlier today all 3 of us have been on and off the loo . On arrival after a shopping trip ladies toilets out of order so had to use disabled one which was in a discussing state with soiled sanitary towels hanging out of disposal unit , used loo roll all over the place , toilet handle not working properly very unclean . It’s also a baby changing room I would not take a baby in there . Food was well below standard for KFC gravy weak and runny. My son complained and the snooty girl said gravy was gravy however gave us another pot to share which was better that the others . The food was cold apart from the second pot of gravy. Will not visit again as we have all had bad tummies since eating it .

The worst KFC in the country. Just awful in every way. There was nothing ready....we paid and stood aside..assuming it was being cooked..and after 8 minutes was told they had run out of chicken. Then had to wait another 5 minutes plus..whilst they looked for a manger ...who was the only one who:could refund us!!!! Just dreadful..and no apologies. What do they do all day...stare into space!

Don't get me wrong I love KFC but it sours your perception if you don't get what you paid for. I have three times now found my order incomplete, there's always something missing. I live close and want to take my food home to eat in comfort, but once again I have to go back to the outlet and complain about the missing items. It's just not good enough for an international chain of this size to keep getting it wrong.

Gave me a bad belly unfortunately, however this is only the first time. It's the zinger products. Play havoc with me insides!

Was not sure if it was open as had some fencing around but was just leaving when someone came out of the door. Might be a idear while fencing is there to have a big open sign. food ok and quick service.

Tasteless over cooked. I had a bargain bucket for one... tasted like a mop bucket. Will never eat KFC AGAIN!!

The chicken was sadly lacking in flavour. Chips were soggy and the floor was strewn with filth. If you are looking for fast food, I would consider going elsewhere!

Spent £42. Pound on a family meal her wished I hadn't chip horrible chicken dry and tasteless couldn't taste any of the spices in the batter...batter seemed bit rubbery not crispy vile...wont return I.ll take my money were I can enjoy a meal not be disappointed

Popped in for a snack whilst heading for Ross labels for shopping, and the service was slow - they had run out of Chicken!! Yes Really. then when we finally received our order for chicken and chips, it was disgusting, the chicken was "foul" with a wet texture and tasteless, and the staff seemed overwhelmed.

I recently went to get a takeaway and the chips had changed to larger chips not skinny fries, got home the main food was fine ie chicken but the chips were soggy & burnt it spoilt the meal. Wont be going back till skinny fries come back or your given a choice of skinny fries or the new larger chips. That's a weekly visit lost by me & KFC you need to listen to your customers from Ross there are many with same opinion as me

Called in on the way home ordered a 6 piece bargain bucket with 4 fries got in to the car and had a portion of the fries that were cold soggy and no salt ...Will go elsewhere next time

Today's visit for a quick KFC fix I was very disappointed. KFC is a fast food restaurant. Fast it was not. Also tables were not cleared. Did not see a member of staff cleaning. No clearing the tables, no emptying the bins. The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. Service was slow even though it was very quiet. Upon leaving I tried to clear my table & empty rubbish into bin. Bin was broken & full, so people had left their rubbish on top. No alternative but to do that also. Outside the bins were full & overflowing. Sort it out!

I haven't had a KFC for 5 years. Wasn't sure what to order, what the side dishes were, what drinks were included etc. Staff were very patient whilst we made our choices.

Not all flavours available for Crushems, long wait and then got order wrong. Only found out when returned home with food. Probably rely on passing trade, not returning locals.

absolutely awful. chicken looked like it had been refried twice on my bucket for 1. chicken looked grey and off colour with slight smell. didn't eat rest after first couple bites of 2 pieces of chicken.

Sat in KFC Ross on Wye, eating food and Ants crawling all over the wall...absolutely disgusting! Informed Manager and really didn’t care. Will never visit again, poor!!

This is a great location to grab a good old kfc, the kfc toilet and eating area needs a bit of a clean and some items not in stock, but it’s the best fast food and good value. Boneless banquet is the best deal.

The whole place was filthy. Condiments area dirty with only used empty packets, no napkins. Lack of drinks available and told they won't have them all for at least another month. Very poor customer service. Food was also very poor and cold. AVOID !!!

Every time we have visited this KFC (we only go for the kids!) they get the order wrong. Tonight they had run out of ice creams, crushems, wraps, all drinks apart from Pepsi ... and many other things...but they did have chicken!!

We were starving. Only reason we stopped and boy did we regret it! It is utterly filthy.

Presumably not designed for folks who like to linger. Grab a drink. Food if you must. Sadly, KFC doesn’t seem to be keeping up with what folks want these days.

Had family meal from here found poor value for money pieces of chicken seem to be getting smaller and smaller had mainly wings one or two two thighs not one drummer in the whole of the bucket dissapointed ripped off.

Ayuda personal, amable, rápido y sabroso, caliente justo lo que se necesita al hacer una rápida parada en un largo viaje de regreso a casa. Uno de los mejores que he estado en KFC.

Ha sido un par de veces en mis viajes al sur de Gales, creo que siempre el banquete deshuesados es el mejor sitio muy limpio y buen personal bien voy de nuevo sí

Cuando no apetece cocinar es un viaje de doce millas a este KFC. Y felizmente lo hacen porque está muy bien dirigido, la comida siempre es buena, el personal es increíblemente amable y servicial.

Not bad for fast food wings bit greased but that's what you get with fried food, I had a zinger meal comes with gravy an hot wings, ice cream machine wasn't working so the husband wasn't very happy

Queues in here are normally back to entrance door so good that more staff now employed on tills to serve quicker, and order now checked by staff before leave rather than getting home to find something missing that used to happen lots. Food as expected from kfc, love the zinger tower burgers.

It is a KFC so the menu should be no surprise! It obviously was a bit short staffed as the queue was long. Once we had our order and sat at the table it was sticky and obviously hadn't been cleaned. Food was ok and filled the hunger gap but probably wouldn't go back. Sticky tables - yuk.

Best KFC restaurant I have been to. Very friendly staff. If I eat in, you get nice views around the side. Food always seems fresh from this restaurant

You get what you expect from a fast food restaurant but the service, cleanliness of the restaurant and tables frequently unclean gives a tainted picture.

Kfc is like one of the 7 wonders of the chicken eaters world and with their unique coating and freshly cooked chicken it's hard to find anything quite as fulfilling as good old kfc when you're hungry and in need of something quick and easy :)This one's been a bit of a saving grace on trips to labels being so close and easily accessible by car from the main road......The staff are always friendly, the waits not too long and although the restaurant is a little small we've never been left standing during our trips here.Sundays visit has without doubt been the best one yet, the chicken on the bone was drained well, nice and crispy; without being dry and in wanting......Sadly sometimes kfc can be a bit of a hit and miss experience with their many establishments of fresh chicken, the burgers, boneless pieces and wings are pretty much always the same but the fresh stuff can sometimes be excessively oily and insufficiently drained which for me is kinda gross :(Pleased to say though this trip here left us with a big smile on our faces and their 6 piece bucket was absolutely lush :)10/10 for this visit kfc thanks for being a huge improvement on Saturdays visit to Monmouths wetherspoons which in comparison was absolutely awful (it's another story)

This was the first time I had visited this KFC and it was lovely. Clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff who actually 'understood' my needs and answered my questions. Just what you need quick and simple food delivered hot in fact a little too hot even for me who is a slow eater. I will definitely use it again.

Consistently nice chicken, but KFC insist on using too much salt in their menu, which is too much for my taste buds, sometimes the chicken is a little greasy, I think KFC ned to come up with a better way to store and drain the chicken after its fried to avoid this.

Visited this site for a rest stop. Quite a queue to order. When at the counter the staff were friendly and the order taken efficiently. Food was fine. One of the better KFC restaurants.

This is our local KFC and we return due to convenience but certainly not because of the staff or the cleanliness. In the past I have had to clear table and wipe it down in order to sit down, and the staff are lacking in customer service skills. They don't seem to cope well once it gets busy
