The food , service, and atmosphere are amazing. Highly recommend the beef steak sizzler. The in-house salts that go with the beef sizzler dish are foodie's heaven with one taste buds getting an instant orgasm.

We pop in yesterday for quick bite to eat, we tuck full advantage of the Tuesday deal. We both had the chicken skewers. The food came sizzling and hot, with fresh cooked fries. We was served by Colin, who looked after us. Thank again and we will be back

Recently came in looking to just have a drink and be on my way, but i ended up staying till they were ready to close, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Not so good recently, smaller plates and staff that don't seem interested.

Always go in here some of the meals are nice. But I’m leaving a review as I went in a few months ago and my partner ordered a full English thing of the classic menu. When it come out the beans had looked like they had been sat on the plate for hours under a light to keep them warm. They was dry and crusty and we told the server and ask if the beans could be replaced. He took the plate and come back with to look like fresh deans in till my partner put his fork in them to see they wasn’t fresh beans just a spoonful of new beans had been placed on top of the crusty ones. So my partner told them he didn’t want the food and asked for a refund for both our foods as I wasn’t going to eat with out him and didn’t touch mine because of what was going on so they said they would refund for both meals and drinks of pop because of what had happened. My total was £25.27 and because I payed on card I had to have a refund back to my card. When I was about to tap the card reader for the money back it had said £11.79 so I questioned the man and said it was £11.79 on the reader but he ASSURED ME!! That I would be getting back the full £25.27. And it’s was a fault with the reader!!!! The next day look and behold to see I only received a refund of £11.79!!!👎🏻 so I went in to speak to the manager a few days after for him to say he’s sorry for what happened and he would send me a £20 voucher threw email for my convenience. I give him my email and name and to this day 3 months after I still haven’t received absolutely nothing so I basically payed for food I never even had😂 just a warning check when it comes to refund because look like they don’t care much about the customer when it comes to food and refunding them there own money. Worse thing is, I go in there constantly for food and drinks and have spent a lot of money. I haven’t said another again because I don’t feel like I should of had to. For a manager he should of done his job. He still sees me after all of this and don’t bat a eye lid😂 absolutely unprofessional BUT AY YO AS LONG AS THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE PEOPLE THERE MONEY BACK HES UNBOTHERED!!

I've been here a few times, and food is always good, so we chose to have our annual Christmas get-together here. Four of us booked in, and 3 of us had the festive menu (good price, nice menu) 1 normal menu. Started of good, got first round of drinks in, decided what we eating then I went to the bar to order our food. I stood there for what felt like forever waiting to get served. The bar is a U shape, so staff need to be checking both sides, which they don't. A regular had to call them over to serve me. Order taken in 2 minutes after waiting at least 10. Starters came 2 had soup, 1 prawn cocktail both lovely. Main meals 3 had turkey dinner 1 had steak. Beautiful all 4 meals plenty turkey and trimmings. I did order cauliflower cheese as sn extra and got sprouts in cheese instead, but surprisingly, they were nice. While we waited for desert, I returned to the bar for another drink wish I hadn't bothered. Another 10 minutes stood waiting while they served in the bar area. A chap with a Christmas jumper on was emptying the glass washer the whole time I was there, no eye contact made by him until he decided to tell me " we don't serve there this time of night you'll have to come round the bar area" this is 9.35pm ish. So round the bar I tootle bearing in mind I've already been there 10 minutes to then be over looked by the men who had just got to the bar (young wench serving just in case you wondered) well to say I peed off was an understatement. I put my money away and returned to our table so fed up that we didn't say for desert we had them to go. Kitchen service fantastic tasty good food. Bar service terrible. Spoilt what was meant to be a special get-together.

Really shocked with how the evening went visiting this place with the family. Food took ages to come out they brought the adults meals out first and then the kids after 8mins which I believe that the kids meals should have came first. Food wasn't the best either the chicken was pink and the dessert was rock solid they didn't even let it defrost. The lady which we believe was the assistant manager was RUDE we spoken to her and she was like it's busy and we don't have any staff but the pub was actually quiet. Loads of excuses which is wrong. This should have been dealt professionally. Not sure why this place has gone done? Think the team need full training.

Had Christmas lunch here today. Outstanding food and service. One of our party was ill and couldn't attend. We were given a refund exempt for the the deposit which was fabulous. Totally unexpected. Key master 🙌 you are fantastic!!

I recently visited for the three course Christmas menu and I was really impressed. I pre-booked the table and my order. When I arrived I was promptly seated to a beautifully laid table by a very friendly member of staff. The food arrived quickly and it was fresh, hot and very good quality. The waiter was friendly, courteous and made sure I was happy and welcome at all times. The portions were large and it was very good value for money. The desert was the best, fresh produce and fruit. It far surpassed my expectations to be honest and probably the best meal I've had at a Hungry Horse pub before. They really went above and beyond to provide a great atmosphere. It was busy and welcoming and this included the bar staff. I'll be booking for next year and can't wait to visit again.

Took over an hour for food to come out and when it did it all came out separately bear in mind we ordered the same meal for 4 of us dirty tables left for the whole time we was there and was still there when we left staff walking past just leaving it sitting on the table won't be coming back place is filthiest hungry horse iv been to

Came for the Breakfast with Santa. It didn't disappoint! Great food and surprise special guest really made my 5 year olds day. Highly recommend and will be looking out for more activities put on by the team here.

I visited the key master on Saturday the 7th of December and i had the most positive experience Ive ever had everything was absolutely perfect the bartender Shannon was very welcoming and very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing i had a mixed which was cooked to perfection. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of the staff as i could see it was busy but they remained very professional and very welcoming

First time trying this pub friday and it was great. The atmosphere was on point, and Shannon the bartender made me feel really welcome. 10/10 will visit again

Come here most Sunday mornings for a full English breakfast, nice and quiet, food hot, fresh and not greasy and hash browns are always crispy. Staff are always nice and friendly.

Had Christmas dinner there, it was appalling, if you like Aunt Bessie's roast potatoes, and frozen vegetables you may enjoy it, the stuffing was rock hard and pigs in blankets were like bullets, definitely won't go there again.

The food here is always spot on, we usually have the 2x Pub Classics for £12.49 which is an amazing offer. My go to is the award winning pie with mash and peas. The pie is always consistent, large size with very soft meat and thick gravy filling. Always lots of offers available and never struggled to get a table. We usually sit 5 people which can be awkward at some pub chains but they have large round tables to cope with this. The drinks are not the cheapest but due to the low cost food available, this is more than acceptable. The place is always very clean and welcoming with no hassle. The wait time for food is always amazing too, never waiting longer than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this place for families and there is also a little play area outside for the kids who like to blow of some steam. Use here at least twice a month for food and will continue to do so. Many thanks

Me and my husband visited the key master on Sunday,, for a Sunday lunch...!!,, we were told that all that was left was turkey,, which was I'm positive Bernard Mathews turkey roll. It says on the menu,, generous portions of everything,;,; there was a few bits of frazzled vegetables,, roasters were frozen and rock hard,, as was the Yorkshire pud,, we got a spoonful of mash ,,, and a teaspoon of gravy. Will not be going there again.

The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, me and my children visit here most weeks and their kids entertainment and parties they put on are brilliant my kids absolutely love coming to the key masters events and always have a lovely meal while here.

Visited the Key Master Pub recently and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent – everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Charl, who served us, was incredibly polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She was especially kind to my son, which added a personal touch to our meal. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with top-notch service, made for a great outing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a friendly spot with great food!

Visited here with family last night for the first-time. We ordered food and drinks via the app. I ordered scampi and chips and a real ale. I was told no scampi was available and there were no real ales available at all. Nothing to replace what was advertised on the app. So I just opted for a coke. When I later checked my bill I had still been charged for the ale which obviously was a light higher in price to a coke. I questioned my bill and was told a refund would occur over the app. This has not happened. So I've been charged and not refunded for something I didn't receive. I don't understand how an app can advertise things and then you find out from the kitchen they don't have it and same with the beers. I opted for steak after. This was not good either. It was very very dry and it had been reheated. The Jacket potato had been microwaved. So for £10.49 it wasn't very good. This was my first visit here and I'm afraid I wasn't impressed by the food or service received. The staff seemed miserable when they came to the table. Such a shame. I'm afraid I won't be visiting again.

Came for late lunch, everything arrived fast, tasty ,hot and was enjoyed by us both. Service was friendly and helpful assistance given to carry drinks. Thank you we will definitely return.

We came for a family dinner tonight 10 of us the food was fabulous and not expensive BUT when our little granddaughters food came out the server basically threw the plate on the table no customer service no smile she was very rude and I said to my family wow she wouldn’t win a competition for customer service so then she marched back out and said that’s because I can hear you !stinking attitude again so I said may you should try smiling and and being polite to your customers at this stage she stormed of again. So my daughter fetched the manager who was very good gave us a free drink to apologise but she had already spoilt the mood of our meal the rest of the staff we great so was management it a shame 1 bad staff member spoilt our night out.

Staff were friendly as always, beer and atmosphere were good as always.. ordered food for a change and wasn't disappointed.. nothing too much trouble for manager or staff

Food is decent, although occasionally some portions are a bit small in regards to chips and beans. Service was quick and staff are friendly and polite.

Had mix grill nothing is grilled the chicken is boiled and pale it was like something a dog would eat the waitress looked like she had lost 20 quid had a right face on her the sausages had consistency of a carrier bag no thanks

Had the quadzilla for £14 with fries, buy one get one free on Fridays. The chicken in it was so beautiful, the beef burger was a little dry but we still enjoyed it. Fries were good. I brought a side of Mac&cheese and added it to the burger. The place looked clean . Waitresses were friendly and they accommodate gluten free diets well.

Ordered fish , chips and mushy peas, very nice, only fault is not enough mushy peas .

Busy local pub. Plenty of atmosphere. Don't order the steak. Tough as old boots.
