Kensington Kebab House in Liverpool

Got a special kebab tonight..delicious tasty food..delivered on time..big enough for 4 of us..recommended

Please be careful when placing an order directly at the counter because most of the time the order is missing items, this is not the first time I have come home and my order is wrong or something is missing. NEVER AGAIN!

The first takeaway I had when I moved to Liverpool. The first night here, I had dinner from here with a friend. A medium pepperoni pizza and a burger and chips. Absolutely lovely, definitely what I wanted/needed after a long travel. Have since returned, I love the burgers, the 1/4 pounders are so juicy and delicious. <3 staff are friendly too

Very cheeky and poor customer service in the shop. The main staff member thought it was funny to swear at me because I spilled a bit of hand sanitizer on the counter area, he said he was only joking but it's not funny to talk to a customer like that, he is too sarcastic and unprofessional and thinks that everything is a joke! sometimes they will also give you smaller portions of food. I would not really recommend the place. I have never experienced such rudeness disguised as a joke in a shop before.

Nearly an hour late and they don't even pick up the phone. Probably won't even get a refund 😕

Too expensive 😪 9.50 for a mix kebab not worth it to greasy Good but the prices are way to high

Most of the time they mix orders, please check your order before leaving as they do not understand anything you say. The Kebab was cold and smelly. I don't think the staff care much about the business. We ordered chicken kebab and found doner meat in the box, cold and salty.

OK awhile ago, Female Dont Seem to Get it. Explained 6 Times 2 burgers plain but with side salad instead of Chip, 1 cheese burger as normal and chips, All Come Dry, and With Individual salads That was charged for Separately x3.

Nice food in there nice pizza but the wraps for the pizza are bad.Need some new wraps

Ask for a chicken shwarma the guy said it would take 8 mins waited 8 mins then asked once more why it was taking a while as 30 mins have went past for a small meal the guy starts getting cheeky gave my money back and then proceeded to not serve me, it was the younger one, will never be coming back here poor service

Ordered 10 inch pizza which wad lovely couldn't complain but also ordered a kabab the Donna meat was vile dripping with grease would never ordered a kabab from there again

What's happened to this place? Used to to really nice here and now it's terrible. Dry, small, like warm, portions. I won't be back.

Some friendly staff, food was ok… nothing terrible, but nothing fancy… just a basic taste for pizza

The doner was old and tasted funny. The kofta kebab was rubbery and again tasted funny. I basically thrown £14 down the toilet.

Love there food. Burgers are to die for.

2 hours of chasing food order... Told 15 minutes away. Never received food Awful!! Avoid!!

Ordered from uber eats. Food came 20 minutes later than expected and when it arrived the chicken was raw (visibly pink) and there was a hair in my food (both pictured). I rang the shop to make a complaint and get a refund, as obviously I could not eat my food. The lady on the phone was rude and at first used the excuse that "it must have become pink from the moisture during delivery"... sorry but that's some magic moisture if it can turn back time and uncook some chicken. She then refused to give a refund and accused me of changing my story because she hadn't heard me say at the start of our conversation that I was ringing to complain about the chicken and hair (she had just heard chicken). She then told me that she did not work there and the actual workers were very busy. I have close family who work in pizza shops and it is never busy 9:30pm on a Thursday night. This was an obvious excuse to brush off my complaint. She then proceeded to just say bye after each of my sentences and said all she can do is promise the food is cooked next time, which isn't good enough when their food can literally poison a person. After sending the pictures to uber eats they have sent me a full and a speedy refund. I am just lucky I ordered through there as this place clearly has poor customer service. Won't be ordering again and hoping I don't get food poisoning in the next 24 hours. I've also included a picture of the food in my bin because that is clearly where it belongs.

Say here for 2 and half hours, so I phoned and I understand we’re in difficult time but the way he spoke on the phone was disgusting and he’s lucky That he wasn’t in front of me, would never return here again for food

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. But seriously, this is probably the worst delivery of food I've received in my life, and I mean that with zero exaggeration, it was that bad. Looking at these photos in which I hope you do, the second picture is LARGE chicken shawarma kebab, as you can see it's probably the most pathetic kebab you've probably ever witnessed. We didn't take a single bite from either of these. The smell has literally put me off eating tonight, and has just left me severely disgusted in this place. One of the most notable things about this is that they had the delivery driver walk to our residence, despite being told he was on a bike the poor guy had to walk here with the food stuffed in what seemed to look like the type of small bag you'd carry with you at P.E in school, the entire delivery was squashed, cold, and seriously just inedible; judging by my photos, I think you can gather that.

Value for money.. and tastes so good.. best special kebab!.. place.. I have tried..

hugh portion and cheap price. the downside is Kebab meat/chicken meat Döner/shawarma are salty. Never tried pizza though.

Tried here for the first time yesterday. Didn’t look like much when I walked in but honestly the best quality chicken kebab I have ever had from a takeaway

After 4 months in Liverpool we finally found an establishment that gets everything perfect stunning excellent prices and wonderful staff perfect food Cheers

Went here to repair a fridge. Even though I didnt try the food. I have to say this kebab shop was spotless inside. One of the cleanist kitchen sites I have worked in. If I am ever in the area in my own time, I will definately be in for some meaty goodness
