Es un buen restaurante, el precio para llevar parece merecer la £. Sin embargo, si eliges comer dentro, prepárate para una caminata, más grande que cualquier otra cosa que haya encontrado. 30 para una lata de coca para llevar, o £ 3. 95 por un vaso de cocaína comiendo. 😱 impactante. Decidió al final no parar ya que no parecía una relación calidad-precio.

Kennedy’s siempre ha sido un firme favorito para nosotros con excelente comida y precios muy razonables. El pescado siempre se cocina bien con una masa ligera y crujiente y las patatas fritas cortadas a mano son divinas. La salsa tártara también es increíble! Siempre tratamos de venir aquí cada vez que estamos en Londres, es una joya escondida.

We had a great dinner at Kennedy's yesterday with a group of 44. The food and the service was great! It's hard to serve food to such a big group but the staff did a fantastic job! I really recommend this restaurant for having Fish & Chips with a large group.

We came on a coach trip to see the London lights and had supper here, 52 of us! The restaurant was efficient at serving us all and with a smile too! Excellent supper which included tea or coffee. Good clean toilets.

We were part of a large coach party, we’d visited Greenwich markets, then took a river cruise, followed by a look at the Christmas lights. Finished the evening with a fish / chip supper. I think the shop did really well to serve so many coach customers with delicious hot food. Started with a glass of prosecco, then fish n chips with mushy peas, then tea or coffee, then a slice of cheesecake. Nice shop, friendly staff Wow – well done.

I ordered a takeaway, large cod, in person. The operative repeated the order, large cod and said it would take 8-10 minutes. 15 minutes later the order appeared and I went home looking forward to the fish supper. 1st bite and I knew the fish was bad. The fish itself was very salty (not the batter) which meant the cook tried to mask the rot with salt. Not only that it was haddock and not cod, which makes me suspect he had a rotten haddock which he should have thrown away instead of serving it to an unsuspecting customer. Before that I was such a great fan of Kennedys, both eat in and take out, both Goswell and Whitecross. But you know, after the experience on Monday 6 November, I vow never to eat at Kennedys again.

Vi letade för att hitta den bästa fish and chipsen i närområdet och fann Kennedy´s. De gjorde oss inte besvikna. På riktigt en av de bästa F&C:s jag någonsin ätit. Perfekt friterad torsk, goda tillbehör – kan rekommendera den sötsalta gurkan – och inte minst mycket trevlig personal.

We lunched here as part of a tour group. We arrived early but that didn't faze the staff. Lunchtime drinks while we waited for our fish and chips were served promptly and are very reasonably priced. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Thank you to smiling staff for the warm welcome.

I visited this restaurant with a coach party on 14th February seeing sights of London finishing with a visit to Kennedys for supper. We were assured by the coach driver this was the best place in london for fish and chips. What a dissapointment, do not know what fish we were eating but it was not cod,very watery, the mushy peas were cold. Worst fish and chop shop I have ever eaten in.

I recently visited Kennedys of Goswell Rd and had a really excellent meal of grilled salmon with salad and a few chips. Everything was great and the chef [ SOKOL ] who cooked this meal, followed my wishes exactly and he should be applauded for his low-key approach regarding asking if everything was OK, unlike some chefs who shout loud enough for everyone in a restaurant to hear, and putting the customer in the position of having to agree through embarrassment. Sokol was a great example of how to be discreet and genuine, and along with BIBI who gave the best possible service in an equally discreet and very genuine way, both deserve to be greatly applauded. It is staff such as these two that make this restaurant what it is – great.

Already posted a negative review re not being able to contact the Barbican and Goswell Rd branches prior to ordering on Deliveroo re my dietary requirements.. There was a response from the owner stating there has been issues with their telephone lines, but several weeks later, nothing has changed!!!

in september 22 to early October we went to this restorant and the service and attitude by certain staf was disgusting it seems that one womem was doing most of the work and others were doing very little and ignoring cusomers who wanted attention. the shaved head little chef seemed to do nothing but walk around the restorant and ignore customers He would then walk back in and say its nothing to do with me I dont work in the restorant and just walk off very rude there was lots of shouting from the kitchen by this man customers were complanning about the matter and the one women doing most of the work was rushed of her feet trying to manage. some customers just walked out or didnt come in staf like this little chef whoose cooking is not good over cooked and hard and sometimes cold, have ruined this place other chefs seem ok so many customers were saying they would not be comming back as there are other fish and chip restaurants in the surounding streets

We rocked up before 12pm lunchtime on Wednesday 23rd March. There was 14 of us, it wasn't too busy and the staff were very accommodating and fixed the tables so we could all sit together. The service was impeccable and attentive. The food was amazing and considering there was so many of us it came pretty quick and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely come back again. Love this place ❤️ 💕 😍

When I visited I was greeted near the door by the manageress, BiBi who was exceptional in her dealing with many clients at the same time and with the quality of her service. The food was hot and correct, it was fresh and extremely tasty and i could see BiBI, when not dealing with a custmer, walking around keeping an eye on everything and dealing with matters as they arose, just like a head waiter would do. This was enormously encouraging as it made me feel that I was really being looked after, which I was ! Just before I left I heard others stating as they left that they would definitely come again, after being said goodbye to by BiBi. I shall now make a point of going there whenever I'm around to repeat the pleasure of the fabulous food and equaly fabulous service given by BiBi and always accompanied by laughter and a giggle.

Siempre una alegría y lamer los dedos bien. . . ; eso es tanto figurativa como literalmente. La salsa de limón y ajo que tenía, con mi porción más generosa de calamares a la parrilla regulares, era tan buena que lamí y recogí el resto con mis dedos retrasando nuestra partida por unos muy felices 10 minutos. I ordered the spécial of the house fish and Chips. The batter was nice and crisp and this part was really good. The chips were good too. However, once I cut into the fish piece I was disappointed with the fish texture. It was mushy and a bit soggy. Was the fish piece frozen before putting it in the batter perhaps ? I also ordered the calamari and same there. Batter was great, but inside was okay.

My second experience of this restaurant and although the first had been ok, this was outstanding. A great welcome and an excellent meal. Lovely fish cakes to start, followed by wonderful, traditional Fish and Chips. Very tasty, really fresh and attentive service from the staff throughout the meal. Would definitely recommend.

Had read good reviews but was a bit underwhelmed. Service was ok, not bad but not great. Starter of Tempura King Prawns as ok but the main course cod and chips was not great. Not sure how long it had been cooked for but it wasn't piping hot and I suspect the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders. My fault for not sending it back but I had limited time. Would not return in a hurry.

Purely Ended up here as part of a coach tour. we Almost certainly would never have chosen this location under our own steam. However sometimes these hidden gems end up being well worth finding. This is definitely one of those. Fairly unassuming from the outside, but surprisingly spacious inside. All the staff were polite and efficient, managing to serve a whole coach load unbelievably quickly. And I can honestly say that I have never been asked anywhere else "are your meals OK? If you need more chips just ask" superb service!! Would almost certainly return.

Proven as one of my best places to eat authentic Fish & chips including haddock & skate. It's clean and has a separate area for those that would like to eat seated and served on a table just like a normal restaurant. The service is quick and they have good wine too!

The entire meal start to finish was excellent, the fish succulent, well battered and not greasy and the chips proper hand cut chips which were just divine!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Can't wait for next visit.

We went to this place on Sunday 28th July at 2pm. We had booked a table over the phone, but the table was too much near by the door(and its 18 degrees outside). Since the restaurant was quite empty we asked for another table and were seated. Then a waitress ask the other one what was the matter. She said because they were too much near the door. Then the waitresses started to laugh on us saying loudly and laughing « please open the door » while going inside the kitchen! We decided to simply leave this restaurant. There is thousands of restaurants in London who care about their customers! Obviously not this one!

Have visited the takeaway in Goswell road on many occasions over the years. This is the third time that I have felt the need to review on Trip Advisor. Ordered cod & chips and asked also for a buttered roll of which there was none available. I requested bread & butter as I had been advised by management to do previously but again there was none. I requested that they get some from the restaurant but was told they had bread but no butter. This was related to me without asking the restaurant part of the business.

While in London we heard a lot about this restaurant so we headed there for lunch, service provided by Andrea was super nice, fast, and the food was just delicious! It’s worth the time we traveled in the tube to get there. 5 stars.

I live in Turkey. I ate fish and chips in there. Fish was different to me. Like nugget. Chips were not different. But delicious. If you go there you should prefer take away because it is chaper than seated

Fish and chips were piping hot, perfectly fresh, melt in your mouth tasty. Mushroom and steak hot pie was flaky delicious pastry that reminds you of your own grand mum’s baking. Super friendly staff and clean relaxing atmosphere!

Can here with no prior plans for lunch on a Sunday. There were tables available too. Staff were friendly who offered a lunch set menu that we had. 2 courses for just over £15 including a drink that I thought was a good offer. For starters I had fried tiger prawns they were delicious and meaty. And main shortly arrived after leaving a reasonable gap in between. Very well presented. Though I wasn’t informed that my side of capers were going to be placed on my skate as I would’ve preferred them on the side. It made it slightly soggy. But it was very nice. I had 50/50 of salad and chips. And a good portion I thought. I had Diet Coke to drink and that was a good size glass. Atmosphere was child friendly for my 3 year old son and welcoming. I def recommend this restaurant. You can also take food away too. I will def visit again to try something else. Thank you.

Arrived with a pre-booked coach party of over forty people. We were served quickly and efficiently with beautiful cod with a nice crispy batter, good chips which were not greasy and mushy peas. Good portions, excellent standards, friendly and attentive service, clean surroundings. I would certainly go back.

Working in the area for 2 days and came across this little gem by chance, enjoyed it that much the 1st night, went back the next night.

if you must have a grease fix to snap crackle and pop your arteries, order Deliveroo and dine in the comfort of your hotel room Do not visit this joint where the head chef is lazy, rude and snarky, and his attitude permeates through to otherwise decent staff. To dine out, visit the chip shop around the corner in King's Square which is classier. Kennedy's has the tile wals of a converted Victorian toilet, The other establishment in King's Square has real table cloths. You might have to wait longer for a table, but it's worth the wait.

We were looking for fish and chips restaurant and found Kennedys of Goswell Road. This place has a robust menu of not only fish and chips, but steaks, burgers and seafood items. Had a fantastic dinner here. wee came with a party of 6 and had items ranging from bangers anf mash, whole fish, prawns, and fish & chips (of course).

Had large cod and chips. It was fine but based on reviews I was expecting much better. Chips were pretty poor, I didn't't even finish them. Little bit floury and rectangular rather than square. Fish was better, white and flaky. Batter was crispy but a little thin and for a large the fish was quite small. 11 quid including a soft drink. There is one table to eat at inside.

Really were the best cod and chips I have had. I was part of a party of about 28 and we all arrived at the same time, tea and coffees ordered and then the piping hot fish and chips arrived. Excellent light batter, flaky moist cod and real chips, not messed around with, just hot, golden, crisp and fluffy inside. Delicious. I don't like mushy peas so left those. Great mug of tea too.

My wife and I went to Kennedy's to get fish and chips on our last night in London. She had cod and chips and I had haddock and chips. Both were good. Had mostly with vinegar and salt, but tried the tartar sauce which was very tasty and had a strong dill taste. The fish had a nice crisp batter and was cooked nicely. The chips were not as crispy as I like, but my English wife enjoyed them.
