Staff were super friendly and the food was good

Went for my partners birthday 4 of us. The food was very nice the restaurant very clean and staff very friendly never been before but will 110% be going more often

The food was absolutely delicious!

Chicken shish was very nice, and Adana kebab (minced lamb) was nice too. but for the price what let it down is the tomatoes were mushy, the salad was wet and tasteless, wilted and the bread was cold and difficult to open (actually it didn't open). It had not been warmed up on the grill or anything. I think for the price (dearer than what we're used to) it needed to be perfect.

So delicious and love the free Balavara for dessert.

Is a lovely place to eat or to spend the time with family or friends. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. The most relevant is the hospitality. No matter what you order to eat, there is always a small plate with a selection of starters and bred complimentary from the house. Also, you can get a free desert, very sweet, delicious baclava. Delivery and take away are available, however I always prefer to eat in.

Is ok, just ok for a quick bite. If your taste buds are not fussy, it is worth the money. I can call it a takeaway with sitting area. I've been here on Saturday at lunchtime, for dinner things may be different. Food and service overall os good.

The food and atmosphere here is amazing. The shish kebabs always hit the spot with the perfect amount of spices and its always cooked to perfection making it nice and juicy. The staff are all great and they know how to deliver an amazing service.

Nice place to with friends friendly staff

Me and my partner ordered couple lahmacun and lamb doner by uber eat. Lamb doner was way too salted for me to eat. Lahmacun was lack of any meat on it. They also cut the lahmacun in to smallest triangles ruined my dinner. You are not supposed to cut the lahmacun, you roll it instead! I am sharing the photo of the lahmacun so everyone can see there is hardly any meat on it. Its was a waste of £30. I haven't tried the baklavas yet so i cant comment on that. We will never order from this restaurant ever again!

Love this place. The food is consistently good and service is spot on. This has slowly become our favourite jaunt.

The salmon and king prawn meals were delicious, with mixed vegetables instead of salad. Generous portions, colourful, fresh and full of flavour. 3 beautiful dips with warm bread was a bonus. Exceptionally good value. My best Turkish restaurant so far. I highly recommend a visit.

Ordered through uber eats a portion of chicken shish and this is what I get for £11. No rice, a few chicken cubes and 1 hour late.

A nice boutique restaurant. The food is truly great. The portions are satisfying enough, and the appetizers they serve with the meal are very delicious. It's like the flavors in Antep or Hatay. The prices are very good compared to the quality of the flavor. I recommend it..

Ordered a mixed doner. This is the 2nd time in a row where the food quality has been bad. The doner was salty again, not fresh, oily, disgusting to be truthful. What is the point of having a beautiful restaurant but rubbish food????? They need to fix this otherwise they will loose a lot more customers.

The staff is amazing, the receptionist and the chef actually are so kind that even after a confusion with the order from our end we ended up with the meals which we wanted additional getting some exceptional service and food and ofcourse ending on a sweet note with Tiramisu. Highly recommended to visit!

The food at Kemps was really good and flavoursome. The portion sizes were bigger than we were expecting. The only thing that let us down was the humus because it didn't taste fresh at all. It tasted like it was brought ready-made or been sitting in the tub for too long. It has very nice decor and has a comfortable feel to it. In my opinion the food is reasonably priced and you get your moneys worth. Only negative I have is that the waitresses are not really attentive and you constantly need to called over. It would be a better experience if customers are asked a couple of times if everything is ok and if anything is needed. Overall we have a great time and we'd definitely go back again.

Ridiculous & patronising attitude. I made a special request for my wrap to have just extra lettuce & garlic sauce (there wasn’t an option for salad so didn’t know it was served with salad inside) I called them once I placed the order to confirm my special request (as I’m allergic to tomatoes). They confirmed they will do this for me… I have then received my wrap & it seemed like that were taking the mick as I got just meat. They also said that is the only amount they can give me but my partner had a box of salad for his food & his lettuce amount was way more then mine.. Disappointed as I’ve been ordering here & his customer service was rude. Not ordering again as they don’t take customer notes seriously.

We used to order the mixed platter for two (£20 roughly) and the taste and quantity used to be amazing. Now they increased the price which is fine but reduced the quantity too which is a Shame. Last time I ordered, I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with the quantity of the food and requested if they could look into it but Nothing! Very disappointed with the portion size….

Amazing place and food! People working there are very friendly and pleasant. All the time my little girl receives some treats from the staff, probably that’s why she always asks me to take her with me even when we are just taking the food for home :)). Always clean all over (restaurant and kitchen). Food is cooked exceptionally. Definitely recommend this place for families and friends!

First time going to this place and impressed by the hospitality. Also quality and quantity of food were worth the price we paid.

Great food with reasonable prices. The 2 of us (men) had a shared doner /meat platter for 1-2 persons for lunch but we only managed to finish 80% of the food. Would recommend.

Was really disappointed with the service of the restaurant. They did not have my booking even though I booked online and the ladies that served the food were miserable and not friendly at all. We will not be coming back here. What a let down for my birthday. I won’t recommend this place so save your money for a happier place.

I previously left a positive review but subsequently rang tonobtain pricing for a large group of 30+ & was advised a manager would call back. I called again after not hearing back. I was told a manger will call but they have asked when the booking would be I tried to advise this was an initial enquiry but that was clearly not enough and the individual became combatative. How would they have known to then ask about a date if I would not have called back. Clearly they don't need the bookings.

Ordered a mixed shish as take away. Tasted nice but tiny portion - 8 small cut pieces of meat accompanied with a very small salad (equivalent to a small bowl ) , a small bread (as big as half nan bread) and a couple of sauces. £14.95. Very expensive for what it was.

This restaurant used to be my favourite, now everything is awful. The service is awful, so SLOW! It took them 65 minutes to bring main course after starter. They have increased the prices and decreased the portions. It’s a joke, they bought a massive plate with only 4 tiny tinyyyyy falafels in it. I’m not happy at all, management needs to fix this. I’m never coming here again.

Top quality food at reasonable prices. We visited on the evening of 11 September 2022. The place has an imposing 'rich place' ambience, some might say tacky. I was quite delighted by quality of food. We were first served a complimentary plate of bread, humus and salad. We ordered lamb shish that is served with a choice of chips or rice. Between the two of us we had one of each. We liked the food very much. Good quality meat cooked to perfection. Also the prices are very reasonable. Quite happy with the service we received. All in all, a very positive experience.

Lovely and amazing food 👩‍🍳 The service was fast and the waitresses are friendly and happy. 💰 Looking at the price and the portion we got it was worth it. 📍They have plenty of space to sit inside and a waiting room also for your take away. And their interior is beautiful and clean and hygienic. 🍗 The meat was perfectly cooked. Would suggest sharing the grill as they serve a big portion. They also have a vast varities in their menu. Excellent food every time we have ordered from here

Despite being very busy when we arrived one of the waitresses came over to greet us and give a good idea of waiting time. We were seated in about 5 minutes luckily. Service was fast once seated. We were seated, served and had eaten within a hour of arrival even though the restaurant was completely full which some tables being quite large parties. We ordered the mixed grill for 2 which came with rice and salad. After asking for the bill we were also gifted with chocolate flavoured baklava, which was surprisingly nice. Pleased to say the food was very good and service was great too. Service charge wasn't included on the bill so please consider leaving a tip, especially when the staff are clearly run off their feet.

This is my Favourite Turkish Restaurant. The service is second to none from ALL staff although Valentina is my favourite. The Doner is so succulent, moist and delicious you have to take your time to savour every mouthful. As for the salad, Wow! The salad is fresh and beautifully garnished to perfection. I wasn't going to have a dessert but Valentina convinced me to try the Baklava. Very grateful she did; this was the first time I had tasted chocolate Baklava and now I Am a Fan! Thank you KEMPS❣️
