I just order lamb balti is no lamb in the curry only tomatoes. Overall the curry was so bad. I never want to try anymore.

Food has declined over the years. Used to very good 10+ years, it's still fairly reliable, but food quality definitely needs to be improved.

We went to this restaurant to try the Lamb Nihari and Chicken Jalfrezi. The Chicken Jalfrezi was fine, but the lamb had a very bad smell. We couldn’t even take a single bite. Tried to return the Lamb Nihari because it was ruining our whole taste, but no one cooperated. We hardly ate a bit of lamb and asked them to return it, but they didn’t return or exchange it anything else. They even charged us for the whole Lamb Nihari. We raised the issue with their staff right away because we could smell something not right with the food. Their receptionist was very rude. Not recommended! Poor Customer Service!

Best masala fish naan I’ve had!

So the food was good, nothing amazing what I didn't like was the portion size, it was pretty small, the mix grill is not worth it in my opinion. The mixed donner didn't have that much donner and had more chicken which again wasn't that great. The food became cold quite quickly which either means a microwave is being used or it's really cold in the restaurant but it wasn't cold. Lastly you can smell the workers BO, there's no escaping it you'll get a whiff whether you like it or not.

Atmosphere is good but food quality is not as expected, starters are not fully cooked with rush time so they quickly give food. Wouldn't recommend.

Order take out pick up no hassle food ready, got most delicious lamb karahi dish plenty meat and full of flavour, chicken karahi was the second dish just as good and butter chicken tikkia just as good, plenty of meat in all dish full of flavour, excellent.

Ordered the butter chicken for takeout. The staff behind counter were rude saying perfer cash to card payments. I did not enjoy the curry at all it was rubbery and some was not cooked properly. Ended up the nxt day feeling ill AVOID

Ordered meat and rice, they asked what meat and suggested Lamb… I said yes that’ll do. Got home open my takeaway and I see Donner meat and rice?!?! Ring and complain, they say there is Lamb in the Donner! Erm NO never again! Do not buy from here

Ordered the chicken kebab it was not good at all would not recommend this place i see him put the kebab in the microwave it's meant to be cooked on a grill spent 13 pounds in this shop the chips was not cooked raw in the middle the only thing I enjoyed was the can of coke avoid if you can go across the road to German Donna kebab so much better

I love this place. The people are so nice as well as the atmosphere. The food is absolutely gorgeous especially for the price. Getting a meal for three people and it comes to £25 even when you get sides and salad is amazing. Every time family or friends visit me in huddersfield they rave about this place when we have it. I go in and collect my orders because I live so close by and every time I am greeted with a smile and a hello. They are all so lovely and as i’ve already said the food is amazing for the price! ❤️

This has quickly become my go-to restaurant/takeaway. This place has really set the precedent high for all other establishments in the local area. With so many of them having shocking standards, it’s just delightful to have a place right round the corner where you are guaranteed a lovely meal, fantastic service and all for an incredibly reasonable price. I’ve got to say, if you haven’t been to Kababish yet, you are truly missing out. Keep up the good work, everyone!

The fish masala in a naan is the best in Yorkshire. Very rarely am I left walking away disappointed. £10 is reasonable in today’s climate and the salad is always fresh. Decor is outdated but place is clean and they accept card and cash. Service is always quick, friendly and prompt. The Bollywood classics are always played on loop.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but Ordered a nan kebab didn't even come with salad like it says its happened twice now different occasions within 2 weeks

Bought a kebab last night tasted okay however I was on the toilet the day after..avoid....

Far too expensive £11.90 for a curry without anything to come with it, the leading curry restaurants in Huddersfield are cheaper and they give a double portion size to what you get at Kebabish, it’s a rip off come on kebabish your not restaurant quality so why are you more expensive than, Nawaab and LaLa’s when both of them are proper restaurants nice settings and far better curry with a lot bigger portion. Your just a dirty takeaway, dirty floor dirty tables absolutely disgusting toilets so why are you so expensive when a proper restaurant can give bigger portions, better curry at cheaper price in a nice clean environment? (You don’t even have popadoms and pickle tray)

The food is always good but a lady staff behaviour to the customers is not good enough. She never greets customers and no smile on her face and her service was very bad and i felt rude. The rest of the staff are always nice.

Very rude staff, disrespectful, unprofessional they don't know how to behave with the customer. Well I'm working as a retail assistant and i know how to treat them.

This is more suitable for a british palette. not full on desi curries. the keema was not sautéd properly and the spices were not fragrant at all. they need better curry chefs

The curry wasn't to specification. Didn't order achari lamb however it seems they are using achar / pickle as a shortcut to a proper gravy. The taste was ok however the overbearing spices Didn't agree with me that well. It was freshly and promptly made however

Ordered a Mixed Donner naan. Got home to 5 pieces of chicken and a sheikh kebab 🙄 rang to ask where my donner was and was told it's not called donner on there menu 🙄

I got the balti special with prawns and the prawns were either out of date or weren’t stored properly because the smell alone was foul and the taste confirmed that the prawns had gone off. I’ve had the same thing before and it did not smell or taste the way this one did. It had to go in the bin.

I love this place! The food has never disappointed. Popped in tonight for some feelgood food and ordered a simple chicken tikka with rice (the rice was fragrant and beautifully cooked). I also love chargrilled vegetables so I ordered the veg shashlik but without the peri peri sauce and an extra tub of mint and they generously gave me a bigger tin tub of mint sauce. All of it was absolutely delicious, doesn't feel at all like junk food and I'll certainly come back for more. The man at the till was also very polite and made me feel welcome.

Amazing , just walked in as hungry after few hours out Amazing...lamb chops were excellent and the tandoori chicken In fact everything was really good can't complain and would definitely try again.

I made a phone order and when I went to pick it up they denied I made an order I showed them the call I had placed they did not apologise or anything and the chef was full of attitude I won’t be coming here again

I love everything about Kebabish and have been coming for many years as the food is amazing, it comes fairly quickly and is just so tasty. The Balti curry is my favourite and the breads are excellent. The staff are great as the service is fantastic

Haven't been in for years . But we called in on a Saturday early evening for a takeaway . Portions of onion bargees , seekh kebabs , chicken tikka and samosas . All cooked fresh before us in about ten minutes . The place is spotless and the lad who served us was both funny and really friendly . The food was absolutely fabulous and came with salad and dips , and we still had enough left to nibble on the day after . Will definitely be calling in again 👍

Me and my friend went in yesterday 20.11.2023.. the two female waitresse's did not have a clue what they was doing, take in mind this is a place we usually enjoy going to, usually there is Male servers who are very polite. We sat down, then got told if we could move to another table.. which we did, the girl then came over and said we couldn't sit there as it was reserved for 6 people, we again moved the first girl said the table was not reserved.??? So yet again we sat down. Then the other waitress noticed we had sat back down, when we explained the situation she simple said " she doesn't know what she's saying she new". We yet again moved to another table. ( 4 times). We sat there for about 10mins waiting to get served. A man, woman and young child came in and got ushered to the table .. the one we got told was reserved for 6 people, she promptly took their order, take in mind me and my friend had been sat down waiting to be served for 10mins, Enough was enough so got up to go, the " new" waitress glanced over, looking embarrassed, the cooks said " bye". They didn't know what happened or the rude behavior from the two servers towards us. Sorry to say I will not be going in there again.. which is a shame as like I said I usually enjoy the food, atmosphere and the polite chefs and male waiters. But these two young girls had no manners one being clearly rude towards us, and also belittling the " new" waitress. They need to retrain and also in the process stop being rude to paying customers...

It's our favourite place to go. Been going here for over 18 years. It never dissapoints us. We are a regular family visiting this place. Lovely freshly made food.

Food is not okay but not original asian taste. Good for english people as they use less spices. Customer service is good. But the main reason for the visit is obviously food which is not satisfying. I won't visit again

Ordered 2 shahi kebabs and it was just like a mixed kebab!! Nothing special. Donner meat was too dry.

First time i came here food was cooked fresh infront of me! Tasted absolutely amazing! Second time it was cooked a few hours before an then microwaved an third time i told them too cook it fresh an they did but it was undercooked! An the guy packing tried to put it in the microwave lol. So people who visit if you like your food microwaved head down to kebabish in Hudds’s! If you want it cooked fresh an properly go elsewhere!

Walked in, sat down for 5 mins , no one approached me. I walked out. At least 8 staff just standing behind counter. Shame, I've been a while ago and enjoyed. God knows who is managing.

went there at saturday night. ordered mixed gril told them to do medium spicy which was very hot and spicy may be they marinated with too many spices already and just grill. then it comes to roti in which they put too much maida(white flour) to make it bigger and when you try break a piece it makes it looks like a rubber.. finally the customer toilet wont even meet the standard of average cleaning even the toilet lock was broken and all that. lastly when I tried to tell the things to the person on counter just after paying in the end he was not bothered to listen to me..

I have been eating at this place for years. It seems to get worse every time in regards to staffing. On this particular visit I will be completely honest. The waitress who served us was terrible. No smile and no care about anything. Made us feel so unwelcome. Due to this we will not be going back. Some of the food put on the table was a portion for children so had to ask for the food to be topped up especially when you pay for an adult meal. What topped it off was when I went to pay for the bill and when I asked for a breakdown on receipt. I was asked "why?!!.". Upon leaving the restaurant I was looked at by 2 members of staff and they were laughing and clearly talking about me asking for the bill breakdown before I paid!!. Which is quite childest for a business. It's a simple question to ask for a paying customer. Didn't see a joke in it!? You really need to look into your staff they will ruin your business and loyal customer base. Shame really, enjoyed visiting for years!.

Really excellent food, chicken tikka kebabs are an absolute winner, best in Huddersfield. Nevermind the curries which are just as good. I was never really a fan of a kebab until I had the chicken ones from here 🙌

I have just tried the followings here Mixed Grill, Fries, Achari Special (Lamb), Nawabi Special Biryani & Mango Lassi. Everything was fresh and cooked just perfectly. On top, their service is superb. I'll definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

I bought 9 samosa's from kababish Town center huddersfield you can see this picture what i got Its really tasteless samosas i ever had Its too oily No proper cooked Price is too high i bought 9 samosa for 12 pound For really its worth it like 1 pound We had to through all samosa Really disagreee for that
