Ever 2023 I have not looked back. It’s a shame I’m moving back because the food is remarkable. Customer service is great as well. It’s a shame I’m moving back to London because I would take these guys with me as well. As a uni student it’s hard to trust new food spots but these guys have never disappointed. Best food spot in Colchester.

Husband said the naga kebab was amazing best kebab he's ever had! And the piri chicken piece was amazing too! Hidden gem. 10/10 we will now make this our new kebab place even if it's 20 mins away 😂 ignore any bad reviews we are fussy eaters and it was so good

Order a few time can never get it right when u call them to tell them what’s wrong they lie don’t not oder

Today I tried, for the first time, the desi dare pizza, peri peri chicken, onions, green peppers and Naga hot chilli sauce, a crazy idea on such a hot day, but it was still very nice 👌 good quality. I haven't seen this Naga sauce advertised in other takeaway places before so wanted to try it. I always pre-order now so no waiting 👍 I usually get the kebabs and fancied a change. Would recommend and will go back.

Tonight I got the chicken wrap and chips meal deal with a drink, comes to £4.50, the wrap especially was yummy and the chicken inside was lovely and soft, just the way it should be. Chips good too. Would recommend and I'd return.

Ordered a non complicated dish Sheesh kebab chips Thursday night 45 minutes delivery meat tough overcooked best part of whole meal naan stick to what you know the rest is fanciful punters who don't care what they eat order here.

Food last night wasn't nearly as good as normal, doner meat was not good and full to the brim with gristle and fat, and alot of the chips were strangely under cooked which ruined them. Food usually lovely, maybe they were having an off day

Stopped here today and got a large mixed doner kebab for £7, other times I have got meal deals, a doner wrap meal deal for £5.50, another time a chicken wrap meal for £4.50, food always tasty and good quality. Would recommend 👍

8pm. Wednesday 6 min away from my home delivery took over one hour, ordered lamb kebab - get chicken, meat inside wasn't cooked just red ,never again, very disappointed !

Came here on a recommendation by a friend who lives in the area. The Indian food was great, I can highly recommend them.

Ordered the set meal for one and swapped the chicken bhuna for lamb. Arrived quickly and I was not disappointed, the mixed starter was delicious and the main course was quite simply the best lamb bhuna I've ever had (and I've had a few). Do yourself a favour, give these guys a shout next time you fancy an Indian meal. (Search online for taste of India for menu) 10/10

Living just down the road I was excited to see this new shop open late last year and since then it has gone from strength to strength Food is prepared fresh and cooked to order, the chips are of a very high quality and my kids think the chips are the best around The chicken doner is the best I’ve ever eaten, loads of flavour and double cooked, they add fresh spices but can do it without if you’d prefer (like my gf does) Chilli sauce adds flavour and is cooked right into the kebab (if you want) Same with the doner. This is not some greasy limp drunk eaten kebab. It’s fresh hot and tasty. Fresh naan is so much better but you can have chips or Pitts if you prefer. Fried chicken and wings are tasty and fresh and the fillet burger is the best fillet I’ve ever had, again cooked fresh, not from frozen and is succulent and moist. I would usually stay away from chicken breast but I’ve had three of these now and they never disappoint. Pizza is similarly good, I’m not a fan of plain old cheese and tomato burn got one corn the kids on my way home from work and after their sequels of delight I tried some and have had two since, they’re super good. Hot, loads of cheese and not too much sauce. Just as a pizza should be. All in all I’ve never had a bad meal from this shop and I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu (oops lol) The staff are friendly and helpful and will cook your order as you want it. All this does mean not only is it busy but you may have to wait a little while, but is definitely worth it. And prices are so good! The meal deals are cheap as you like and the margherita pizza is the cheapest I’ve seen and still awesome quality. I can see why it’s always so busy!!

My boyfriend and I ordered two 'kebabs' from here, Mixed and Lamb shish and it was not at all as we expected. We noticed that it was served with nan rather than pita before we ordered but we expected the rest of the kebab to be cooked and taste the same as any other Mediterranean kebab would. This was not at all the case, the meat definitely had an Indian after taste and tasted nothing like Lamb shish. I'm sure this is to some peoples taste but the shop name 'Kebab express' is quite misleading as I'd definitely say the place has a more Indian focused cuisine. Needs to be made clearer that the kebabs are not usual kebabs.

Have used this take away quite a few times since it opened and it’s always been great, pizza’s are lovely, Chicken Shish is one of the best I’ve had, especially with naan bread, the donor and burgers are tasty too, have even had a curry which was nice, like the ability to order kebab and curry in one go! Delivery is always in a good time and staff have always been super friendly when ordered in shop.

They do extra-hot Naga doner kebab in a naan bread. What's not to like? The food tastes lovely and you can see everything is kept clean. This has become my new favourite place for kebabs in Colchester.

Me and my friends walked past this kebab shop few times and tried it first time last month. I can say it’s the best kebab shop in Colchester, we ordered two large doner kebab came out fresh and most importantly with fresh tandoor Nan bread not a frozen pitta! Who can beat that? Since then I been going there for every week and it’s the best. One little tips here expect 15-20 mins for your food to be ready this shop is always packed with customers. Highly recommended
