KBS Kebab House in Cardiff

Food due to arrive at 6.50. At 7.10 the app said 'enjoy your food'. I say, my food hasn't arrived. The restaurant changed the time to 7.30. at 7.35 the app says enjoy your food again and so I call the restaurant to find out where my food is. I'm told the driver will be another 8 minutes. The restaurant only 15 minutes away from my house and timings weren't during rush hour. No excuses. I ask for refund on costs, restaurant says NO because the driver was stuck in heavy traffic. Why bother lying?

Was cold when arrived and late

The actual burger and kebab was nice - they hadn’t sent the cheesey chips and normal chips with the order - so I rang and requested they send them out with the next delivery - 90 mins later and still no fries of any kind…..

asked for large, it was more like medium, chips were cold, waste of money

I always order from here but this time I had cheese on my burger which I asked to be taken out otherwise lovely

not the best hardly any meat mostly chips in one and the wrap was 60%wrap

I've eaten donner everywhere, and I've never been to a more overpriced and stingy place in my life. I was so disappointed to see how they treat customers. I was so tired and hungry, so I didn't have the energy to argue with people in the place either, and I couldn't believe I paid close to £20 for two small boxes. I couldn't believe the lady thought the M portion was like 10 chips. Worse, I had a hair in my food. Donner tasted fine, but why is the portion unreasonable. Wouldn't come here again even if I was starving, and it was the last place open on City Rd. How is anyone supposed to eat that much donner with no chips. Ruined my night tbh. I'm genuinely still shocked how they saw me watching them and thought that was an ok portion to give anyone, especially a medium lmfao. The lady fried way more chils btw but she just left them sitting in the basket instead of giving me 2 actual portions. My husband literally had almost 90% donner left and nothing to eat it with....

I order all the time from here, this time the kebabs wasn't very nice the done meat was very chewy and the chicken was very fatty couldn't eat them so won't have them again

Pizza and chicken all squashed like it had been sat on,boxes all collapsed and chicken was rattling around in bag,hardly any flavour to the pizza,chicken just taste like grease

Wank! Used them for years but gone down hill slowly. Portion sizes are rubbish, timing on deliveries are rubbish, chicken doner is deaddddd! Don’t bother honestly.

Ordered 2 doner kebabs from here , it came undercooked and the portion is not good for the price.

Kapsalon was great, food was very hot which was great, Chips were a tad soggy but I think that was more due to distance of delivery than anything else, they had a nice flavour to them regardless, all in all, very happy.

Awful customer service! Ordered through Uber eats, said delivery will be between 7pm and 7:20pm. 4 times I had to call the restaurant at 7:30 for them to answer to tell me driver will be 10mins. 8pm I called again driver will be 10mins, I ask for drivers number so I could call him myself. Called him at 8:15 and he said I’ll be there in 10mins. Not one apology! 8:30pm still no food. Call back the shop ans they said the driver couldn’t find where we lived so drove back to the shop! WTF! When I called the driver he said he’ll be 10mins why not say if he was lost or why not tell us he was in way back to shop! Ask for refund they said we can cancel it on our system but don’t know how you get a refund! So now an hour later no food and no money 👎🏻

Absolutely awful ordered a large kebab with all salad and chilli sauce if i could upload the photo it was dry meat a few slice of onion a lettuce leaf and 2 slices. of tomato. i wish i was over exaggerating i really do and the sauce.. we finally found it... Chilli please it was so sweet i thought i was eating a dessert. would rather cook than order for them ever agian and i would rather b tortured than cook so that says it all. i hope i was just unlucky and their quality is normally better.🤞🏼

That was my large kebab with all salad and chilli sauce. As a cheat meal i would have rathered cabbage water 🤤. But finally found some sauce and it was so sweet i got main and dessert in 1 meal 🥳. If u want to be severely disappointed and have ur night ruined i highly recommend this place.

Should have read these reviews before ordering, because they're all right. Ridiculously small portion for £13, and was meant to be a large! Food wasn't good either, unseasoned, tasteless amd doggy. Missed something from my order as well. Unimpressed, avoid this place!

Could add more salad. And sauce options in just eats app could be expanded

Very disappointing. Doner meat was very bland but at the same time quite salty. Large chips were £3.50 for a very meagre portion and why was there a service charge as well as a delivery charge? Won't be using them again.

It was okay nothing amazing and nothing special , £7 for two large chips is very pricey considering they were really tiny portions.

When you place a collection order with a Brickwall who doesn't understand what medical condition means 🤐 callback and they have no drivers working on a Saturday night for redelivery Great service 🙄

The pita bread was not fresh and had an unpleasant odor. It was disappointing as I have enjoyed KSB's products for many years. It appears that the quality standards have declined over the last few orders. I hope this issue can be addressed.

was really looking forward to this but was well disappoint, ordered an xl mixed kebab which looked like a small ordered nam bread as thay are the best and thay sent a pita bread which was shocking, this place used to be the best around but sadly no more.

Slightly small shish kebab, however the taste made up for it. By far the best kebab I’ve tasted in cardiff. Please keep it up as I’ll be having 2 most weeks👍

Spent £14.40 on a medium chicken shish it arrived with 4 chicken chunks and the tiniest amount of salad so disappointed do t offer delivery’s so close to closing it was ridiculous for what it cost

For the price I paid this is the tiniest kebab I've ever had. Tastey but its 75% chips and 25% meat with a tiny sprinkle of salad. Total piss take. Used to love this place but its changed. Dont waste your money - I wont again

Paid £11 for a Shish kebab it had 3 bits of chicken and 1 lamb kofta with one tomato, one strand of lettuce and cucumber. I had to cut myself extra salad. All the food was leaking everywhere in the bag and all sauces went of your husbands who don’t like sauce. I’m disappointed £50 for a kebab take away and we are all starving. I wouldn’t bother

They are very stingy. I have never seen them so stingy before in my life, and their treatment is so bad. I have come to hate the Kurdish p because of their treatment, their stinginess, and their very high prices. And now you lose customers because of your prices and your stinginess..

As others have said, it's a very small portion for the money, nice but very small. Also, this kebab house need to use aluminium foil to wrap kebabs when delivering so that they don't arrive cold. You're only a mile away. No excuse.

This is a great kebab place on City Road. I usually get takeaways here and always go for the mix kebab. There's nothing to complain about—I'm always happy with the experience. The staff are lovely, and the customer service is pleasant. The food is consistently good. If you're hungry and a local, this place will definitely hit the spot. Highly recommended!

the food was bland I had mixed kebab xlarge I've had this twice i told Boss this time round to fill the box up on the xl if your paying 15 pound for a xl kebab you dont expect half a box of meat some sad sorry looking chicken and small handful of salad on top KBS is absolutely stingy with with there meat I got more for less everywhere else I have been these people are rip offs do not buy from them please Try Pizza Time or Andalucia as you will get more for your money and at better quality!!!

Better than expected, the mix kebab was good. Donner could have been thicker. The mixed wrap with chicken was hot, but the donner was warm, which downgraded the vibe. Overall, I would still recommend this spot if you live locally.

Very delicious food and nice customer service always on time with delivery

Rapid delivery, was hot, tasted pretty good, and they listened to the order notes. Only complaint is got just a lamb donner instead of the mixed but that’s an easy mistake.

The restaurant marked the food delivered before it arrived. Phoned the restaurant to be told it was on its way (10 minutes late at this point) and to wait 15 minutes, he proceeded to tell me he was busy and hung the phone up on me. The delivery time suddenly then changed to an extended 30 minutes. When the food eventually arrived 45 minutes late, it was cold, tasted awful and soggy. Drinks were also wrong. Could not get hold of the restaurant. Will not be ordering from here again.

I've had take aways from here first couple of times kebabs were really nice,but last time we had shish kebabs my lamb was chewy,& very tight with salad,chicken shish were nice,bit tight on portion & salad.Pizza was nice too.

First call to KBS after going 15 mins past delivery time we were told, we are very busy it’s will come and got hung up on! After calling back 45 mins after requested delivery time managed to get someone to look into where our food was and got told another 8 mins (ordered food at 18.40 requesting delivery at 8.30, dont mind 10/15 mins either side but rude staff and an hour late!!!!) received cold food was just soggy!!!

Restaurant got order wrong in the beginning and sent an incorrect pizza. To be fair to them, they sent a free replacement, but this was over an hour later and it was cold and greasy

Mediocre at best greasy bland the chilli sauce, could’ve been ketchup first and last time I will order from this company maybe I should’ve read the reviews it seems to be very hit and miss very disappointed. Also for an extra large kebab it seemed very small The animals that died to make this would hang their heads in shape.

Ok delivery and food was warm. Just expected more meat in an extra large donner.

Beef burger patty was hard and chewy. Kebab had an odd taste and straight after eating I felt nauseous and wanted to vomit. I got sick a bit and had to throw half my food and could not finish it.
