First time trying this place just wow the food is amazing and great value will definitely be trying again when local

Leatherhead is a bit of a lunchtime food dessert other than very British places so it was great to see I could get a bowl of spicy chicken at lunchtime. The lovely person serving suggested I try before ordering in case it was too spicy but the level was perfect for me. The only downside is the queue at lunchtimes , but that’s because it’s very good. Go. It’s better than another baked potato. It’s also amazing vfm.

Two of us really enjoyed our lunch there today, the 2 chicken meals and some complimentary spring rolls we were very kindly given were all excellent. We have limited experience of Japanese food. The lady serving was very helpful and we are both keen to return to try some more dishes. Asparagus tempura sounds great to me. The lunch time pricing was very reasonable and the food was all freshly cooked.

What a little gem of a find. Ordered the katsu curry, teriyaki chicken, chilli chicken (it is spicy but very flavoursome!) and sushi. All were really good and very fresh. The food is reasonably priced and generous. Will definitely be back!

Great mix of quality "fast" food and decent prices. Katsu Curry is top notch and the Chicken Yakisoba is amazing as well. Local and they deliver to a broad area.

nothing wrong with what I ordered, except the price. I absolutely love sushi, but the price was rediculous. for 2 pieces of salmon Nigri cost £5 if I remember correctly. I payed thst, just once as was looking forward to buying sushi in middle of leatherhead. but wouldn't go back for sushi again. shame, as I could eat it ery day. @ kokoro in Guildford, they do either 8 or 10 salmon nigri for like £7-8. if they upped the quantity and lowered their price um sure they have much more custom for sushi. as the price was too much for what you get. Also the bibimbap was super tasty. Just the size portion was too small for the price. Not enough chicken. I'd portion size was bigger would be 5*

Honestly, best food around these parts!!! Just a joy to order, receive and to eat. In these times of cost of living increases, I’d rather still save my money to enjoy a treat from here than almost anywhere else locally. Everything is so tasty and fresh. Ordering is easy; the guys will adapt your choices too if needed; delivery is impeccable. I’m rooting for these guys and would be gutted if they left the premises. Thank you to you all for such stunning food and service !❤️🙏

I have to say i am very impressed with the customer service. I ordered yesterday sometime in the evening and had issues with one of the meals being damaged. Today i received a phone call from the staff or owner to apologise and offer fresh food. This is clearly someone who cares about their business and their customers. 10/10 customer service and lovely food, would recommend!

The best lunch option in Leatherhead and the best katsu curry I have ever eaten couldn't recommend it enough. Get there early to avoid the queue and enjoy your lunch!

Food was great, it's a favourite of the office. Only issue was service was very slow over lunchtime as somebody bought a very large order before us and they just couldn't cope. They were friendly and did apologise for the wait.

I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. Food is always hot and delicious, with great portion sizes. The lady chef (/owner?) is really lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Very tasty chicken katsu curry and sweet and sour chicken. For about £8 per meal, rice or noodles included and large portion sizes. We added endamame beans, wakame and spring rolls, but really didn't need them , the main meal was plenty. You can't beat it !

Authentic little place in the middle of town. I ordered the Katsu Curry. It was fresh, crispy, and piping hot. Plenty of chicken was given and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I'd love to try more from here.

Having just moved to the area tried this for takeout. Food was very good, we travel to Japan a lot and the gyoza and udon served here was up there. Will be a regular if they can keep up the high standards.

Went with a member of my household yesterday and was so good I came back again today. He swears by the Katsu Curry and, though the sweet and sour chicken is fantastic, I'm a big fan of the Bibimbap! Great value for great food!

Great, uniquely tasty food across all their options. Big portions for a reasonable price. Now they take card payments. If there is a queue, you'd be wise to get in it!

I would give this place more stars if I could. Walked past here so many times and missed it because it’s so small, but it’s definitely Leatherhead’s hidden gem. Only open at lunch times but the food is delicious and for such a great price! The staff are really friendly too. I’ll definitely frequent this place.

The crowded shop of Kawamura is a testament to their lasting popularity in Leatherhead. The layered katsu chicken curry (rice, sauce, chicken, sauce again) is a welcome change from most places that skimp on the sauce. Taste wise, the katsu chicken curry is almost identical to the famous Kokoro's, and is far better than anything from Wagamama or a supermarket. Staff are efficient and friendly, if only there were more of them!
