We recently used KATHMANDU TANDOORI catering service for our event, and the experience was fantastic! The food was so delicious. Everyone at the event complimented the variety and quality of dishes. Santosh Dai was professional, punctual, and attentive to every detail, making the whole process seamless. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend them for any event.

Absolutely delicious. One of the best curry’s I have had in a while. This place is a real gem and deserves to be busier. If you are local you should definitely check it out.

The best curry for ages, staff were fantastic, meal was superb and the price was really good, cant wait to go again. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was out of this world.

The Food was really awesome. Especially with the Mix grill platter was the best of the best. Kathmandu Nali & Pork masu was really tasty .I would definitely come back again with my friends. The manager was a very lovely host. ATEEK & Manisha did a awesome service and made us feel so comfortable. I would recommend each n everyone to come over here and have the tasty food. They do small celebrations of 25pax. I love the experience of tasty n yummy food.

We've ordered from here many times now and the food is absolutely delicious. By far and away the best Indian food in Twickenham. Tonight's lamb shank with chick peas and the wonderful garlicky okra with fresh ginger was simply the best Indian food I've had in years and I'm very very fussy! Very reasonably priced and delivery is always prompt 🙂

The restaurant kindly opened up for us on the lunch time of the Big Game. We were a table of 19 and were looked after magnificently. One only the tastiest curry’s I’ve had in a very long time. Staff were very attentive all in all an excellent experience. Will certainly return.

The best takeaway ever! Ordered by accident as our usual was closed. Large portions, perfectly spiced and better than anything we’ve ordered before. Everything amazing and was keen to order again but sadly when looking a few days after our first order, ubereats doesn’t deliver to us anymore as too far 😢 please start delivering to our postcode again, we thought we’d found our new regular!

We always receive a warm welcome and attentive service. The food here is always tasty, lots of different flavours going on and good portions. The price is very reasonable for the superb food you enjoy.

I have used this restaurant for about 2 years and its always great. The food is always fresh and service is always lovely. I’ve gone through most of the menu and dishes that stand out are the Gurkhas Revenge, Doha chicken, Nepali and garlic and chilli chicken. One of the main differences with Thai restaurant (I believe) is that each dish is made individually. Most curry houses use a base gravy and where this is nothing wrong with that, you really can taste the difference here. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!

We've been twice in two months and so the review is fairly balanced I'd say. We've had nothing but great service and great food. I really enjoy Nepalese cuisine it seems to fuse Indian and Thai/far East cuisine and for me it's a great flavour experience. Portion sizes are also very good and so the value for money aspect is bang on. I have left very full each time. We did not wait long at all for the food, and each dish was fresh. Ordering one bowl of rice is good enough for 2 people. The menu is quite varied... It's not all curries and that's great. The giant prawn dish my wife had was the biggest prawns I have seen in London and super delicious. This is now one of our favourite spots in Twickenham.

Great food and drinks good for large groups

Was put off and will not return by the shocking toilets! As you walk back to the loos, it gets grubby and dirty. Cracked tiles and handles you just don't want to touch. Grime on the walls, shocking basins, and unclean all round. Contrast with the linen napkin service, its like two places. From that intro onwards, it does not build confidence in the food. Starters varied, Onion Bhaji was good, pickles onion and raita not so good. My garlic chilli lamb not so great either, lacking freshness and dulled.

Always prompt delivery. Generous portions but most importantly the blending and quality is excellent. The aubergine is the best I’ve tasted

I'm sorry but honestly it was one of the worst restaurant I've been to in the UK. The food I had was horrible and the service was despicable. First, we booked a table for 9 people. When we got there, there were 8 seats at the table and the staff didn't seem to care that we were missing a seat, so we had to get the chair and rearrange the cutlery and seating ourselves. We had waited approximately an hour and 15 minutes for our food, which was incredibly disrespectful, as our order wasn't even complicated (we each ordered a main and rice). There were literal groups of people coming, eating, and going around us, and we were still waiting for our food. During this wait, the only thing staff members were doing was to come at our table and collect the drinks (well actually - they weren't even them collecting them - they were literally asking us to pass the drinks from the table to them, instead of taking them themselves). And also, during this process, they were taking the water glasses as well, even we were still drinking. One member from our party had his glass taken, and he had to ask a member of staff twice, and I had to ask another member of staff twice as well until they finally brought him another empty glass 20 minutes later. But that isn't even the worst part. When they brought in the food, they only brought the curry, and not the rice, and only for about the 3 of us. 10 minutes later, they brought in the rest of the food for the others, and the rice. At that point, the curry had already gone cold on my plate, while waiting for my rice. Oh and they didn't even bother to ask which dish belonged to whom, they put all dishes on the corner of the table and we had to distribute it ourselves. Oh and did I mention that they gave us plates for the food from another table? That's outrageous! And as if that wasn't the last straw, one member from our group, after almost an hour and a half, asked where are her onion bahjis that she ordered. Only then she was told by the waitress that they ran and out they don't have any. And they dare to say that after an hour and a half of waiting for the food?? Oh and the food, don't even get me started on that. I ordered a sweet and sour dish, and you couldn't even taste either the sour or the sweet because of the spiciness. The dish was recommended by other people from our group, and a few others have tried my food and soon agreed it tasted awful. If only it was only my dish, but other people from my table hated their meal as well. I was absolutely shocked to experience this service, and not only that, but the fact that they charge 10% service charge for that service, it's despicable. It's a shame because I have had Nepalese food before, even from when I visited Nepal in 2019, and absolutely loved it. And there I am trying to defend Nepalese food to my friends after this restaurant and explain that Nepalese food is actually lovely, and doesn't have the slightest similar taste to what we just had.

Dropped by with a few friends. Nice waiting staff, prompt delivery of menus, drinks, starters. There was a large table also in the restaurant so our mains took a while to come out. Food was good. Will pop in again.

I've been going here almost once or twice a month with my partner for nearly a year now. It's superb. Outstanding food with a varied menu, very well priced, and staff and service is always very friendly. The takeaways are nice too, but the Kingfisher on tap makes it worth going there in person. Without a doubt one of the best South Asian places / curry houses in South West London, and well worth a visit!

We changed across this place looking for an unplanned meal. My son noticed the restaurant and we decided to give it a try after looking at the menu. The food was cooked fresh to order and all the sauces were different, not just varying a generic base. Everything we had was delicious. My son's Prawns were huge and marvously prepared. I look forward to going there again soon. Very friendly staff, who looked after all our needs. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely love this restaurant, it is fantastic for veg and non veg entrees. We ordered the tandoori paneer—which came out in a sizzling iron platter, the stewed lamb curry, appetizer sampler and veg momos. Everything was so hot and delicious, flavors were phenomenal and we ordered a second round shortly after! Service was great too, we will definitely be back next time we’re in Twickenham.

Lovely food, well cooked and good portion sizes. I went post an England rugby game and there was quite a wait for food, but fortunately the starters kept the group going!

The food was good and service was excellent. Also, I thought the prices were reasonable, that is, if you want to go somewhere that you do not want to break the bank while having good food at the same time.

Had a fantastic meal and we had booked a table for after the rugby.We we’re just finishing up our meal when we were hurried to pay the bill as they wanted the table for other customers.We we’re still drinking our beers! .5 minutes later asked to leave again.Bit rude to say the least

Pre booked for Match Day, food was excellent, very busy so quite a wait for food, the most disappointing part of the visit was a inflated priced menu for match day which ripped off customers up and above normal prices the restaurant charges on non match day, scandalous

This is our regular curry restaurant. We've been coming here for many years. It used to be called The Gurkha Kitchen but they changed the name, although the staff and menu remained the same. The food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. I could just deduct one star as there are parts of the restaurant that could with a lick of paint, but as the food and friendly service are so good, I want to stick with a full star count. I can recommend it.

Really had a bad experience with the food & poor service. Only one staff was there to take order, serve and managing counter as well. Veg steam Momo's were the bad choice to order, where Non veg Platter was fine.

Visited this place just to have some momos but the menu had so many items that we tried a few. Garlic chilli masala chicken was flavourful and the fish tikka was yum. I loved the Aloo chops (no pictures as we finished that first)

The Napalese restaurant tables were covered with nice table clothes. Mr Santosh looked after our table explained that they have two chefs. The mix grill we ordered and other food for starters, had one problem the very small dish to eat from and no spare dish to put the bones. It’s a nice quiet place to dine but the flavour of food lack the boosting kick

We had a great evening in this restaurant. It is quite small and not very glitzy but the staff and the food were both excellent. This place is a jewel of a restaurant and if you like Nepalese or Indian food you should give it a go.

My husband and I have visited Nepal a few times and really love Nepalese food. We chose this restaurant based on the fact that they serve momo. Sadly we were informed that the momo were not vegan as they have cheese in them which seems very strange to me. I also couldn't have the onion bajhis either as they were apparently not vegan (?) I had one choice of vegan starter which were very mediocre samosas. The main course was nice but we did wait 40 minutes and there were no other customers when we placed our order. The decor is dated and there was something green splattered up the wall by our table. Sad to say we would not recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic, fresh, tasty food. We arrived late after a rugby match at Twickenham but it didn’t matter as the staff were extremely accommodating, even though it was busy. Absolutely brilliant post rugby food.

Vegans avoid! The waiter advised that the ‘vegetable’ samosas were the only vegan starter on the menu. Unfortunately they were anything but: they were LAMB and so I accidentally ingested meat. The samosas were also obviously frozen and poor quality (the restaurant said they couldn’t tell which were vegetarian or lamb). I ended up eating no starter: then had vegan version of dhal and tandoori roti: these were very bland but apparently vegan (I hope). No hard feelings towards the waiter who was very apologetic and removed the cost of the dhal and samosas from the menu as a gesture. But please avoid this restaurant if you are vegan or have any other dietary/allergen requirements.

I visited this restaurant with a large group of friends on Saturday evening and was so impressed. Firstly, and most importantly, the food was delicious (and quite good portions sizes too). Secondly, the service was very friendly and attentive. Finally, the price was very reasonable (the bill came to about £27 each) . So overall this place ticks all the boxes. I will definitely be paying a return visit.

We had a fantastic meal last weekend. There were a lot of us so we let them know in advance and the food they prepared for us was immense! The paneer was so so good and the currys were so full of flavour. Will definitely be eating there again. Service was very friendly and welcoming!!

We went on a rugby night so it was busy and the service was slow and poor. They brought rice out first, apparently some was for sharing but the portions were small, about half an hour later they started bringing out the dishes to go with the now cold rice. Some orders were wrong so it was a right kerfuffle. The food we had was tasty,.I'd just go when it isn't so busy as people turned up after us and got served before us and we'd ordered first. We weren't the only people complaining on the day.

I was surprised at how bad this restaurant turned out to be given the numerous excellent reviews !!! We visited on a Rugby weekend , food was inedible, staff members flustered and reminded me of a scene from faulty towers !!!! I’ve eaten in many Indian restaurants and I have to say this has been the worst so far . I’m not sure if bad food and service was due to volume of people over the Rugby weekend but I won’t be returning

I can't wait to bring my husband and friends here. Best nepalese and indian food I have ever ever had. Everything was made with the greatest quality. Well worth any price in the world. The meal itself was ok. Average. The experience however was ruined by a shambolic Fawlty Towers delivery driver trying to tell my wife that we didn't know our address. Never again.

After trying so many Indian takeaways in the area and being fussy (partly due to being Indian) I always come back to Kathmandu. I absolutely am addicted to their Hariylo chicken and their mixed grill is great too. Everything seems cooked freshly and they are one of the rare places that actually read and action your requests!

As someone that doesn’t eat spicy food - not even pepper as in salt and pepper, they complied with my difficult requests and the food is out of this world. The flavours are amazing. Very much recommend the butter chicken which melted and the saag paneer which was a creamy pot of goodness. This place was discovered by takeaway and then we walked over an hour next visit and to be served hot food on warmed plates was attention to detail many places skip on. Hot towels and a mint too! For a meat and potatoes person, this place bowled me over. I’m getting hungry just thinking about this pace now.

Yet again wonderful cuisine, great service and.. I shall come back!

We tried the momos(pop the whole momo so the juicy goodness bursts in your mouth), few of the nepalese starters- the pork and chicken and the platter along with a fragrant garlic naan with some kingfisher beer to wash it all down. The Nepalese food has its own distinct taste, at the end you will really start to like it. The ambience is quaint and peaceful, it’s own charm.

Tasty, fairly priced food. Subtly different to traditional Indian restaurants. Very friendly service.

The best Nepalese food I have ever had !

This has to be the best curry in the Richmond Borough! Unusual Nepalese dishes and full of fresh spices and herbs. Fantastic flavours without being too overpowering. And an unusual but fantastic Indian red wine, complements the curry brilliantly.

This is my new favourite curry house: the lamb on the bone is absolutely delicious! They are friendly, generous and the food is so flavourful. The chef’s specialities that I have tried have all been gorgeous. Exactly what you want, fresh spices, good seasoning, real authentic flavour where dishes all have an identity. 10/10

I decided to try Kathmandu Tandoori as we were really craving Nepali food. I ordered a range of traditional Nepali dishes and loved every single dish! I would recommend the lamb momos and Khasiko Masu (lamb curry). Took me back to being in Kathmandu. Honestly the best Nepali food I've had outside of Nepal!

Sooo yummy! I got an Indian takeaway for my birthday and it was the best choice ever. The paneer tikka masala was one of the best curries I have ever had. The peshwari naan was delicious too!

Great take away. Highly recommend anything out of their tandoor oven. One of the best curries in the area.

UPDATE: ...not sure what happened, but a couple hrs after this experience, they got back to us...and explained what happened. They refunded our meal and gave us a free meal which was dropped off today. And it was delicious. Their service to rectify things was exceptional so they made up for it. Looking forward to having them as our regular local Indian. I hope to change this into a 5star rating in a few months time, as hopefully they will be consistently great from here onwards. " We placed an order tonight via UberEats....1hour later no delivery....we called the restaurant to check where our delivery was.....they told us they had only received the order 20mins before...which wasn't true...they said they would compensate us....we waited another 30mins...nothing turned up....we called them numerous times...and no one picked up...another 30mins went by...and nothing.....no order arrived....we texted them...nothing. Horrible terrible service....VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING......as our favourite Indian restaurant Panas had closed down, we were looking for a local one to replace it. We will be reporting them to UberEats. We will never order from them again...and make sure to tell everyone we know in the area never to order from them. Terrible that they have such an attitude when restaurants are struggling!!!"

Exquisitely cooked, well seasoned and really fresh ingredients. Anything from the Chef’s Specials menu is a good place to start (and the lime pickle is also tremendous).

We enjoyed our takeway meal so much we went back the next day for another! Great food and amazing service! Willing to drive from Surrey to pick up a takeaway from here!

We ordered a takeaway from here as our usual place was closed and we couldn’t have been more chuffed that we did! The food was *delicious* (and we can be fairly fussy!) Each dish was v generously flavoured, lots of meat in each, the spicy dishes had a good kick to them, the korma and tikka masala were mild but very well flavoured and distinct, v generous portions (much more so than other nearby takeaway places!). The mixed tandoori grill was especially good, the flavours were so rich. Will be ordering again soon!
