We had such a delicious lunch today at Joe’s new cafe in Bideford. We love visiting Morocco, and we were delighted to discover this little gem today after being recommended by a friend. Joe, from Morocco himself, is clearly proud of the food he prepares, and everything was made using herbs and spices he brings back from home when he visits. We started with mint tea, and the aroma took us straight back to the medina in Marrakech. We thoroughly enjoyed the home baked bread alongside the different fresh salads he prepared, and a delightful Mackerel dish. We finished off with a lovely slice of homemade lemon and lime cake. Joe himself was incredibly friendly, and we very much enjoyed chatting with him over lunch. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu, it all sounds so delicious!
