Had a amazing roast on Sunday 6th October, homecooked, really hot, lots of lovely vegetables, fantastic homemade yorkshire pudding! Really reasonably priced, lovely staff, can highly recommend

We're a family of four and had breakfast here this morning. Thoroughly recommend. They're a proper cafe doing cafe food. They even do kids meals with fruit shoots! Food was hot and good quality. Service excellent. Value second to none. Superb!!!

Just had cooked breakfast was looking forward to it ordered all day breakfast not very warm and was missing the mushrooms also paid extra for tomatoes served separately in a bowl again not very warm nobody checked if everything okay as where to busy clearing up for the day wasn’t cheap at nearly £10 but eggs where cooked lovely which is why I gave a four star.

This is a good cafe, however as many others do services change and value for money not as good, however staff are lovely and friendly and food always seems to be cooked fresh, just some deals not as good

I had never eaten here before but I had a few hours to Kill in the Town so looked up the best rated breakfast locations in Eastleigh and I was not disappointed. Great food and service in a feel good traditional cafe. 🌟

Excellent food at extremely reasonable prices. Great all round menu. Breakfast is awesome...tea or coffee included. Service is friendly.

We went here yesterday. Its rather open with no real atmosphere. You have to order at the front counter but the guy serving was rather slow as he was preparing teas and coffees at the same time. So, we ended up leaving as i queued for ten minutes and couldn't be bothered waiting any longer. Why not do table service? Speed up the ordering process. Won't return.

Staff ok and polite enough breakfast awful cooked in deep fat fryer thrown onto your plate with absolutely 0 time to drain any excess fat . Cut into the sausage and oil just poured onto plate like i was cutting into a chicken Kiev was really disappointed as so many good reviews thought we would try it. I've never not eaten something I've bought before from a cafe before was really frustrating spending money on something explaining ur not happy with it then after taking the food back to be ignored as if your in the wrong for explaining politely your not happy was 0 offer of refund and seeings as only ate one bite each was extremely apparent we wernt impressed

The place itself is quite a large opening when u walk in, I wouldn’t say the staff are overly animated on arrival when greeted, but polite enough and friendly enough. The food and menu is very good price for value and quite a wide variety. Food quality wise - I thought was reasonable, and somewhere in between a greasy breakfast cafe / brunch diner. As a small business owner I’d like to see the place go under a small refurbishment interior and layout wise just to touch the place up, and replace a few of the ingredients in the menu.

Lovely cafe! The staff are always very welcoming and accommodating. The food is always great - today was a lovely fresh sandwich. Very tasty! I highly recommend this cafe.

I'd never heard of or seen this place and only discovered it whilst looking for a parking spot. My original plan was to have breakfast at the local Wetherspoon pub, but due to the parking situation, I ended up parking outside Katarina's. I ordered the large breakfast with a free cup of tea or coffee. I believe I paid £7.10. The food was amazing value and they only use fresh ingredients...their bacon is the best I've tasted in a long time. Super friendly and efficient staff, who work hard to make you feel welcome. I know that I've found a new favourite...you should make it yours. Highly recommended.

Went here to visit my daughter and really enjoyed a Sunday lunchtime meal. It was basic cafe food but good nevertheless. Such a shame the evening Greek part didn't work out, my daughter said it was amazing food and value.

Went for food, good food at a reasonable price

Our group was there for an early dinner (4pm) on a Saturday afternoon - we were the only ones there. (I was surprised nobody else had come in when we left shortly after 6pm.) The food was delicious andvthe portions were very generous. When my wife's lasagne arrived, someone asked was it for one or two people. They staff were friendly and attentive.

We eat out quite a lot and tbh this is the best place to eat within the Eastleigh area,food is fresh and cooked to order not reheated pre prepared food, wether it's breakfast,lunch or an authentic Greek evening meal, everything is faultless, and their Sunday roasts,brings back memories of the traditional family meal where mum spent all morning preparing.

Sad to hear this restaurant will be closing end of this month. Had my usual Standard breakfast this morning. Always freshly cooked and hot. Usual great service and reasonable price 👍

The ninja breakfast itself is spot on and worth going for, but the wraps and other meals are AMAZING! I'm a picky eater and can honestly say best food I have had in YEARS!

The breakfast here was one of the best 'home cooked' breakfasts I have had in a while. The staff were really friendly and the portion sizes were good. There were 4 of us, all adults eating and we each had a standard full English and asked for some kind of amendment, ie remove beans but add tomatoes. None of it was any hassle, breakfasts came out quickly, correctly and piping hot. I only gave 4 stars as it would have been nice to have some proper filter coffee instead of instant but other than that it was delicious!

I popped in on my trip to Eastleigh shortly after arriving. I was greeted by the friendly owners who made me feel very comfortable. The food was fantastic! The portion was sizeable and the taste blew me away, you could tell the chef had some years experience with Greek food… speaking of, during the meal the chef personally came out and greeted me, checking the food was okay. He too was great to talk to and had a lot of interesting things to say about the history of the menu. Thank you for making my short trip to Eastleigh memorable :)

Quick bite of the Mediterranean before off to the cinema. Simple decor and great service. We popped in with 40 mins to spare before start of the movie and said we were in a hurry.... Great choice of Greek favourites and good portions washed down with Mythos! Moussaka was tasty with side of garlic pitta bread.

My husband and I visited this place at the end of May. We have to say the food was wonderful. Freshly cooked. We suggested they had live music sometimes just to add to the ambiance. Perfect for chatting, just a little quiet music in the background to add to an already lovely place to eat.

Service slow, but helpful. Food ok. I had a herb tea and they went out of their way to find me some honey!

Breakfast visit today. Two meals which were excellent, poached eggs on toast, and the standard breakfast. Both meals served hot, and on hot plates. Service was as good as on our previous visit. Consistent quality of service I now believe this deserves 5 Stars. Previous visit Mid morning coffee and tea cakes. Not as busy as usual on this visit. Very clean. Service and staff excellent. Extensive menu including one for children.

We have been on three seperate occasions, twice in the evening, the food is excellent and very authentic. Reasonable too. We couldn’t fault our food, or the service, the ladies were really attentive and friendly. It wasn’t especially busy and I don’t know why?! There is nothing processed and the quality is fabulous. X

Sat in Katarina now as I'm writing this. So far the customer service is particularly bad as the first thing we got was an unwelcoming death stare by 2 young girls which were front of house staff. Seems to be damaging if they were to crack a smile....... Waiting for food for a further update but there is also at least a polite lady who has served us at the till and been the expected typical polite customer service person. Now waiting on on food for further comment: Food was quite good. Can't knock the cook. A real shame that first impressions are paramount to most businesses and judgements. Unfortunately neither I or my companions will be dining here again due to the unwelcoming ignorance of the front of house staff but the food was good. Hope the owner reads this for there benefit more than the customers. May help realise some of the issues out front to be able to fix. Nice looking place, good food, bad customer service

Disappointing meal. Ordered the gyros, which wasn’t a gyros at all, this was also supposed to come with rice but didn’t. The chips weren’t cooked properly. The salad had lettuce in it so not a traditional Greek salad at all. The meat served with the “gyros” was quite fatty and basically doner meat, not what you would find in a gyros. Left a bad taste in our mouths for over a day! The feta was also slightly off.

Was recommended to go here and we were not disappointed, the service was fab ,staff were very friendly and the food was fab

Have been here for both breakfast and evening meal, and both are amazing. Dinner was especially wonderful. Authentic Greek menu, with a traditional chef, the food was both lovely to look at, but better still, tasted amazing. Definitely going back there soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Great place, the food was nice.

Huge breakfast. Sausages not the best, very bland. But bacon good, as were the eggs. Black pudding a little undercooked. Fried bread excellent and hash browns good. Very good value. Not table service.

Thoroughly enjoyed my cheese & onion omelette, cooked very well. Place was very clean and tidy .
