Nice intimate atmosphere in the great Brixton market.

Lovely lovely foods, nice location and felt a bit special, definitely going back!

Nice champagne and cheese, friendly service, but as I have a wheat allergy I was disappointed they weren’t better with wheat-free bread or crackers. The first waiter I asked gave me a flat ‘no’ without checking, the second checked on her own initiative and they had one leftover crust of a sliced wheat-free loaf so I had that plus some salad. It’s really easy to just keep a pack of gluten-free oatcakes in the kitchen or a sliced loaf to toast in the freezer.. They have an excellent selection of champagnes, and very good cheese and charcuterie, though.

A lovely lunch, we had a couple of glasses of the house champagne with the Gastro meat and cheese board as well as snails. It was delicious and a great setting in the market watching the world go by. We sat outside which was super warm under the heat lamp.

This is everything it says in the name. A great selections of cheeses, meats, boards and as well as champers, great wine list. Service was great, and a really buzzy vibe - great for people watching in the market.

Staff are lovely. It's very affordable if you go between 5-7, the happy hour, where all champagne bottles are half price. We had to Mont D'or. Really great. Would highly recommend.

What's to not love, champagne, cheese, cute little venue in buzzing Brixton. However the service was terrible. The staff we rude, rushed us, walked away halfway through our order and when we ordered a meat "selection" all we got was a pile of the same meat. I'd recommend the Covent Garden store instead!

we had heard about Brixton as the new hip spot south of London- we were on our way to a concert at the O2 in Brixton and needed a place to have a quick meal. The place was small but charming, the servers were extremely attentive and friendly, and the food and drink were high quality

Champagne = good! Cheese = good! Champagne + Fromage = excellent! The saucisson selection is as impressive as it is good value with a half Beaufort saucisson making for a great starter for myself and my companion. The Mont d'Or as a main was a veritable mountain of delicious food. I can't recommend this joint enough!

Took my girlfriend for valentines, went for a set menu, food and drink was spot on. Only thing I will say is due to it's location in a market, it can be quiet chilly although blankets are provided!

Trying to find a restaurant with availability for a good old fondue was hard to come by in the run up to Christmas. In view of it being my Swiss friend's birthday i wanted to make sure it was a special experience. At the offset speaking to Champagne and Fromage was promising indeed. I needed to confirm numbers in the morning of the booking so that the chef could cook the fondue with it's multi cheese combo. How brilliant! Sadly, when the fondue arrived at the table within 30 seconds what should have been a soft stringy cheese turned into a rubbery mass and there was little that the staff or chef did to help us. This was at best disappointing at worst my Swiss friend could have made it better at home. On the upside the flavour was good and the champagne flowed but i wouldn't recommend a fondue here.

Not really sure I would class this as a restaurant - more of a "taster" place. They do have a wonderful selection of cheese and they do take care in selecting fine choices for you if you go for the cheese board. Not a place to go if you're starving and want huge portions though. Good if you're feeling a bit decadent and want to taste fine cheese and sip champagne and enjoy a little ambiance.
