Best Thai restaurant in Surrey 😎

Has now become our regular go to Thai restaurant. Food is superb, service is always excellent, and the staff are always friendly and very polite and welcoming.

If you're reading this review, just go here, you will not regret it. Seriously, the food here is beyond good. We had the Thai mussels and dumplings to start followed by Tamarind duck and Thai green curry, I was absolutely blown away, the chef is a genius and the waiting staff are beyond friendly. Would give this place a 6 stars if I could.

Stumbled across this place as our usual place was fully booked. A great find. The food was fantastic fresh and tasty. The restaurant was immaculate and the service was great. Highly recommend the panang curry, the sweetcorn fritters and the lovely crispy but light duck. Everything beautiful presented. Thank you for a lovely early supper with our family.

We have never had a bad meal in Kasalong - the fried squid to start and then Prawn Masaman curry is to die for and the service is brilliant, they can never do enough for you and are so so friendly. Our favourite local restaurant!

We had a takeaway from here last night while staying in Chertsey. The staff are very polite, charming and professional. The food was freshly prepared, and every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The best Thai meal I’ve ever had in the U.K.

Absolutely divine place! Very clean, spacious, and the staff are so friendly and hospitable, the foods and drinks are delicious and so authentic! Felt as if I was dining inside one of the restaurants in Thailand! If you're looking for an authentic thai cuisine then this is definitely a place to go to!

Had a meal here this evening. It was lovely food . Service was great, really good, staff brilliant. I don't live in chertsey my brother does. He didn't advise us to eat there. Well he's very wrong it was lovely really freshly prepared. Well done.

Nice little place to go eat, lovely people running the place, very friendly. Only upset I had was with the Prawns on my stir fry dish I thought they would have been stir fried and got that meaty texture, unfortunately they where a bit soggy and soft. I will be going again as there are many other dishes I want to try! Flavours where delicious and the Thai whiskey is very tasty.

Family owned and friendly, Kasalong has amazing Panang, and duck in various dishes. This is a small restaurant, big on value. Well worth the time when in Chertsey.

What an outstanding Thai restaurant! The ambiance is very romantic and peaceful. The customer service is outstanding , and the food is incredibly delicious! We travel the world looking for good Thai food, and it is very hard to find. This place is a hidden gem!

First time visit. Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. The price is expensive for what it is. Very basic restaurant with no wow factor. For the price I would expect much more. I've eaten at top notch restaurants that aren't as expensive. A large glass on wine starts from £9.90 with service charge.

So busy for 6pm on a Tuesday, but service and food were both excellent. We will definitely be coming again.

Delicious thai food. Family run place. We were visitors in the area but it must be popular with locals. We were given a nice private table at the back of the restaurant. The service was attentive. The stand out feature is the food. Lots of flavour in all of our dishes, from starters and sides to stir frys and currys. Would recommend to others.

Restaurant had a compact menu which was easy to understand. The food was delicious would definitely eat there again. Staff very friendly and pleasant.

Hands-down the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere in the UK. Superb service, too. Definitely have the special prawns. And ask for the mixed Singapore noodles. But everything was excellent.

Very Authentic Thai food!!! Thai is one of my favorite cuisines in the world. Ive been to thailand twice too and tried the authentic thai food. Also, Ive tried loads of many thai restaurants all over UK. And this is nothing compared to the popular chains we know… Absolutely gorgeous food!!! On our first lunch, we had salt and pepper squid, thom kha, som tam, singapore noodles and coconut rice. A M A Z I N G!!! On our second time, we tried the mussels, duck spring rolls and we had the som tam again because its irresistibly delicious!!! We tried the famous green curry, pad thai, the drunken noodles and their special dish the prawn chuchi. Sun served us on both occasions and he was very helpful and friendly. Service was great!!! Amazing thai experience with a very homey feel…!!!

What a hidden gem! We had dinner and everything was delicious, we shared a Tom kah soup, green curry and a steak and everything was perfectly cooked. Also great friendly service, Thanks.

Really nice neighbourhood restaurant. My veg cashew nut stir fry was lovely. Fresh, high quality veg, full of flavour. Partner really enjoyed chicken ginger stir fry. Starters great and very generous portions. Calm atmosphere with nice background music so you could talk and listen easily. Excellent service and very reasonably priced.

Amazing ,food, service & ambiance . I had the beef massaman curry which was out of this world. My husband had a mixture of starters which were very tasty and well presented. If you like Thai you would be mad to give this a miss . We will definitely be back .

The food here is absolutely delicious! Went for the Chef Special Duck Masamam curry and would argue it’s the best iv had. Asked for extra spice as I love my food spicy and was a easy 10/10. Will be back here as a regular. Highly recommend.

Smallest portion of Pad Thai, everytime I go there portion gets smaller.you have to order 2 of them to fill you up

Kasalong has fantastic food and the staff were very polite and friendly. I tried it yesterday for the first time and I highly recommend the outstanding chicken Massaman and the delicious Thai crackers. I'll definitely be back for more!

A beautiful little gem! Our first time visiting last night and we loved it! Food was very fresh, generous portions and the best Thai meal we've had so far! 😊 would recommend the Thai green curry (i had it with king prawns and they were both big and plenty of them!) We have eaten here many , many times. We have also lost count on the number of take aways we had from here. This is the BEST Thai food money can buy ! Great food , great experience, and good value ..... and to top it all all off the family that run this are delightful, service does not get any better. We walked in after looking in Google maps for a restaurant in Chertsey. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff were courteous and friendly, and as we later discovered, they were a family. The food arrived quickly after ordering and it was obvious it had been freshly cooked to order. Everything was delicious and among the best Thai food we have eaten. We will come back!

Very fussy when it comes to Thai cooking. But this is faultless! It has become a once week regular. Excellent service and super friendly. A lot of thought and care goes into this place.

Myself and my family went to Thorpe Park for the day, as we left their we wanted something tasty so we chose here. It was perfect. A great ending to our day. Food and service was excellent. Then a long drive home.

Absolutely delicious. The best Thai restaurant between Guildford and London. Best thing that happened to Chertsey in a very long time.

Went in with high hopes as the place had loads of good reviews. But to our disappointment the food was stale and sweet for some reasons. 1 star is simply for the service by the waitresses. The staff is friendly and welcoming but do not expect anything when it comes to food. Noodles were soggy, overcooked and chicken soup was horrible, tasted like it had been sitting in the microwave whole day.
