Absolutely incredible shawarma! The flavors were spot on—perfectly seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and the sauces tied everything together beautifully. Everything tasted super fresh. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even during the busy rush. Definitely the best shawarma restaurant’s I've ever been to. I'll be back soon!

Stopped in for a hungover lunch, ordered a wrap and a can of juice, for £6.50 I was very happy. Would go back when I’m in the area again! I’m not sure I’d sit in to eat as the atmosphere is non existent but the service was efficient and friendly so perfect to stop in for a takeaway.

The best wrap I’ve had, ever! Fresh & tastes fantastic, and the chips were great, the best non chip shop chips I’ve eaten. Staff are fantastic & service was quick. This is now my number 1 kebab/wrap stop. You’ll see what I mean if you give it a go, bet you’ll go back too.

Hands down some of the friendliest service I've received in a while. The felafel wrap was quite sizable and delicious. It was late, right before close, and we ordered the fatoush, which they were out of. But rather than just tell me to order something else because they were sold out of it like most places would, they busted out the ingredients and made it from scratch! Above and beyond!

Small snack, but great for in between. It's in a not so nice area and the decor is sporadic, but the service was friendly and quick. The food was very tasty, but the portions were a bit small. A really good snack for in between meals, but not enough for dinner. Still recommended because the prices are really great. :)

Excellent food, tasty and very good price

We love Karmoosh! We have now been once to the restaurant and once via delivery. Each time the food has been equally flavourful, warm and full of love. Everything is beautifully spiced and the meat options are tender and juicy, with lots of smoky flavour. We have had the ful, warak 3nab, labneh and Lebanese bread for starters, and they are all flavourful and hearty. The fuel especially converted my meat eating husband to nearly polishing off the whole bowl! We’ve also tried the kibbeh shamieh, sambousek & lamb kofta/chicken shish with rice. When I say the kibbeh is my literal favourite food, I’m not kidding! It’s crunchy, spiced and just perfect. The rice with the meat dishes is perfect too, and we eat every bit. Honestly could not recommend Karmoosh enough and wish we could be there every week! Make sure to try something else along with their yummy looking kebabs to try some new Middle Eastern treats! Will definitely be back.

I have ordered shawarma a lot of times from Karmoosh and each time it's a hit! I always call ahead to place the order and its always ready for pickup on time. Highly recommended! Unlike any other shawarma in the city and reasonably priced, too!

The best Arabic restaurant I’ve ever tried in Edinburgh! The service is quick, the staff are polite, and the food is always fresh and incredibly delicious. I recommend trying their Shawarma Wrap and Falafel Wrap (I personally love asking them to fill it with hummus and tahini). Their pizza is also absolutely amazing, and I enjoy ordering Labneh Manakish with a cup of tea. I highly recommend everything I’ve tried, it’s all so tasty! I order from Karmoosh Restaurant twice a week.

Pretty poor, we ordered a takeaway - mixed grill. wasn't really enough for 2 people, and the 50p for tiny sauce pots. the biggest issue is that there was very little meat that was super dry and not very flavourful. the cucumber salad (which is essentially just yogurt) was repulsive

driver went completely across town to wrong address when I only live a 5 minute walk from restaurant, then didn't have the drink from my order, he also reported my order as 'delivered' when he had done no such thing and was still on the other side of town,

Me and my girlfriend frequently go there, the stuff is nice, service is great and food is amazing and always appetizing. It is not like a elsewhere kebab which is sometimes messy and mediocre. This is more like a restaurant where provides good service and food experience for everyone. People definitely need to try this, it is completely a full stars for me. The restaurant owner deserves respects and money.

My good friend and I were after somewhere to eat that offered something more unusual than the late night neon kebabs, pizzas etc and we found this place. Honestly we were blown away. We chose the hummus and moutabal to start and moved onto the mixed grill, I washed it down with a carton of Ayran. It came with chips and bread. A fair amount of food, which we largely polished off. Very friendly, very authentic and just plain quality. Would recommend if you want a quality middle Eastern experience.

“Batata harra and fried vegetables” is basically fried wedges with chilli flakes. Kibbeh is not cooked enough. Shawerma sandwich was okay but spicy. I thought this was a syrian/Lebanese restaurant and would have the authentic middle eastern taste. Disappointed and would not be ordering again.

Usually end up here for a weekly dinner, they do amazing roast meat platters and creamy hummus spreads. The portions are just enough to keep you satiated. Would defend recommend!!

Very very tasty and affordable food. I collected and the bread was not particularly warm, but nothing that can be fixed easily. The falafel was divine, as was the eggplant dip. Will be going back!

The wrap was so hard , led to the ingredients to fell off when you try to eat . Not very cleverly done . Chips piled in a small container which makes it too soggy when eat it .

The whole experience was a huge disappointment, from the very late delivery to the taste of the food. Never again.

i ordered on deliveroo and the restaurant accepted the order. the driver went to the restaurant and didn’t find anything and the restaurant was already closed. deliveroo eventually canceled after an hour. if you don’t intend on making my food don’t accept the order

Best shawarma I had in Edinburgh.

Best grill I’ve ever had. These guys are experts in cooking meat and masters of spice. They must have done lots of work in marination. It’s virtually magical to have grill meat in such a tender texture, with spice and fragrance infiltrating into each fibre of the meat. They know how to bring out the best flavour of the meat without too much distraction. I especially love their minced chicken sausage. Rather than fancy dining, in my opinion, the best food is always street food done with care, efforts and expertise. This is one of those places, great food with reasonable price. In fact, I think these guys should join and win the Barbecue Showdown or any other competition. They are those masters of grilling meat and this place should be rated as top grills in the whole UK.
